Keys also reward survivors who took the time to search chests, taking time off of doing the primary objective. That's something that benefits the killer if they don't find one. Also, there is something that can kill survivors mid-game. It's called Devour Hope and I see it used a lot since the undying change.
-
Depends on if Rambo is a killer or survivor, wait either one would be awesome, both would be MEGADOUBLEAWESOME.
-
I think the killer kill statistics are too high to nerf keys right now. I also think that's why there appears to be an overabundance of keys in games lately. Most of the escapes I see now involve a key. If that's the case, why would they nerf them and make the survivor escape rates even lower?
-
So I guess having a major video game crossover, reworking all the old outdated "water color" maps, enabling crossplay, releasing on mobile platform, Blight, Twins, Trickster (which are all fun to play), a bunch of good balance changes, and four different rifts don't add up for much eh?
-
Oppression works really well with Dead Man's Switch, but I've never seen anyone other than me run that combo.
-
Doing the buffs as perks like they have been doing is a good way of dealing with it. Giving players all the information SWFs have as basekit would just dumb the game down so much and remove the critical decision making that currently makes the game unique.
They need to start by showing SWF members in the post game lobby. This would give us more data to base the discussion on, as it is now, we are always just assuming SWIFs are winning all the time.

Why good sir, I do declare that Hellraiser and Phantasm are unaccounted for.

Dude smurfs, moris, and slugs noobs and then has the nerve to call him the best killer lol
It was 2 days of nonstop nonsense posts from that guy, I had to see what the real story was.

Hard disagree. I can play clown, trickster or whatever else into any team very comfortably and until survivors are good enough to consistently go against me i'm not going to reconsider. as for your "incredible good" I am the best killer in this game right now and i'm saying that every killer starts that match off that it is their game to lose. It's hard to play killer and even I don't win 100% of my games but that's human error and not SWFs being too strong.
Hundreds of years ago people thought they solved chess too, see how that turned out. Meanwhile DBD is only 5 years old and people are getting so far ahead of themselves. I haven't watched every hour of every tournament but I did watch Hexy's and I don't think many people have a clue just how good every killer can be. Maybe that changes with specific tournament rules where you play for points but if your only goal is to 4k the survivors, THAT every killer can do and I think even the best teams can lose not only to me, but to some other killers on things that aren't just nurse or spirit.
You'll all learn.
Best killer in this game? Come on man. You are a rank 15 player who just slugs and bleeds out green ranks match after match. For the sake of your mental health, you should take a break from DbD for awhile.

That's not the fault of the other non nurse killers, that's the fault of the players who aren't good enough to do it any other way.
I haven't watched more than a few hours of tournament footage but from what i've seen my wraith, clown and other very low tier killers is better than what I saw from those nurses and I think you and I can both agree that's saying something ;)
Killer is stronger than SWF if they are good enough and I think EVERY killer in the roster can beat teams like Oracle and Agony more often than not.
I think that you, and a LOT of players are forgetting that DBD doesn't really have much of a competitive scene, this isn't an esport by any stretch of the imagination and our would be competitive meta if it were, is largely unexplored and it's really hard to name all that many good players in dead by daylight, at least for now.
Put some VODs up of you running something other than Wraith on Midwitch with All Seeing and just slugging everyone and we might get a better picture of how you are going to dominate Agony and Oracle.
-
The Small Game change is good enough, the totem count does not need to be free info. SWF is for people who want ultra easy mode, once you make that stuff base kit, you take all the challenge out of the game.
-
That pig has his own toolbox?
-
If this was Blizzard there would be a ton of bots farming unhooks to complete rift challenges for people who paid some shady website real money.

Too easy huh? Have you tried Legion without perks and addons? While killers like Spirit and Nurse would be fine, Legion would struggle to get a 4K.
This is a good point that a lot of the community doesn't get. The game doesn't have a difficulty slider, if you equip the meta perks, only play SWF, and pick the best killers of course you are going to win a lot. Get a 99% win rate with a perkless Trickster if it's so easy for you.
-
You have to spam the point action, do it 2 or 3 times at once. I had tried just pointing 1 time when Premonition went off, and that never worked. But when I spammed it so I was pointing 2 times each time premonition went off, it worked.
-
The game is currently on sale, so hackers can get cheap accounts to use in case they get banned.
-
Surge is one of my favorite perks, mainly because I'm too lazy to kick a gen.
-
I was feeling a bit of the same so I tried out DbD mobile. Turns out it is pretty chill compared to its big brother and a nice change of pace while not changing too much.
-
Think you'll still be playing it in 5 years?
-
The problem isn't between PC and console, it's between controller and mouse. I tried Trickster on PC using a controller and the recoil was just like on console.
-
Another fun perk to run with Oppression is Dead Man's Switch. You usually have to run Nemesis along with it too, but it's pretty great to see the extra gens get locked out when you use it. I never see anyone else using this combo, but it's pretty cool when it works.
-
Stake Out seems like a police stake out. Waiting, watching, doing nothing, not wanting to be discovered. With your change they would have to rename it to Police Raid, Hot Pursuit, White Bronco or something like that. And wait, cops chase criminals, that would make the killer a cop? Or is the survivor a cop? Are you a cop?
-
You were probably banned for not crawling away from the hook that the killer was camping. Bad play bans are the most strict.
-
Wouldn't it just be insane there was a way to avoid getting caged, like, maybe by not running in the judgment trail.

what if it's against someone who isn't pig???
Well you should have thought about that before you decided not to take it off. haha
-
Inactivated Reverse Bear Traps that a survivor walks out the gate wearing should carry over to the next game, like how items do.

Every time I've used Rancor, I've never seen the obsession after the last gen pops. Wasted perk slot.
It's best to use it with Nemesis and Furtive Chase, sometimes you can even kill more than 1 person at the end.
-
I was just stuck in that spot as survivor.
-
You have clearly never been on the receiving end of a Buckled Up For the People save.
-
Blood Pact. It's like a "Great Value" Bond.
-
Ghostface needs an add-on pass, he really only has 2 useful add-ons at this point.

Experimenting to see how I'm averaging 3.2 kills a match in rank 1 killer when survivor is stronger than killer.
Survivors that don't escape must have brain damage.
You should probably try 100 solo queue escapes now. You know, for your experiment.
-
Why would you want to turn a fun game into an easy mode escape assembly line?
-
Yeah no survivor had ever escaped against a killer using BBQ and Pop. Instant doom right there.
-
He is fine but his add-ons aren't exactly Post Office material if you know what I'm saying.
-
With the last update they had added footprint dust to kick up when someone walks. I don't know if they took it out, I haven't noticed it lately, but it seems like that would be something fair to add to Spirit's phasing. It's something you would really have to look carefully for, not something that is completely obvious when she is phasing.
-
I don't mind the challenges, I like the difficult ones. But something needs to be done about the passive fragment gains, it's way too slow. It should give you a boost if you buy the rift pass. That would give more incentive to buy the pass early.
-
Yesterday I randomly equipped Hex: The Third Seal. I went into the match and it ended up being a SWF with Object of Obsession. Oddly enough, that Third Seal hex made the game a lot easier and I was able to get a win.
Anyway, now I realize they don't need to nerf Object of Obsession since I can just use Third Seal to counter it all the time.
-
Also, it is pretty funny to use on Deathslinger when people think they are safe at the exit gate.
-
People with stretched resolution can see the difference in the jeans.
-
Walk by a hook that a survivor has been sacrificed on and you will hear their ghastly cries from beyond the grave.

Well, one thing that helps me when I'm having a rough day is a nice match of Rancor Roulette.
Rancor, Furtive Chase, and Nemesis, ideally on stealth Killer like Ghostie, Pig, or Wraith.
The entire idea behind the build is to tunnel the crap out of the Obsession, who changes every hook.
If they survive to EGC, either hook them or mori them for extra style points.
Wow, I run the same exact build when I'm getting through the tough times too. Dead Man's Switch for added fun works good too.
-
Some players are so toxic that if they saw the killer's name, and that killer dodged their lobby, they would find some way to track them down and taunt/insult them.
-
Survivors need a door breaching charge item that blows up the wall and blinds everyone who looks at it.
-
Anaxandra - Deathslinger
-
Have you tried using the Cat's Eye add-on with Victor? It's hilarious when it works.
-
Aw come on, just run one of the two great perks for finding totems or bring a map. Being spoon fed information takes the fun out of the game.
-
How is it "justice" if they are getting "revenge" on the next killer they play against, who isn't the same killer that gave them problems?
-
I don't know, seems like a stretch connecting pallet spawn rates to getting rid of the disconnect penalty. Why not fix the pallet spawns?
