because now there is no SWF meta people gotta learn how to solo
SWF is a crutch
In case you didn't notice, there are many players who don't like solo because of poor coordination. Solo play is not that great either when it comes down to it.
SWF is not really a crutch, just people playing with their friends.
-
Camping and tunneling is the killer working on their only objective.
Survivors have one as well (generators), you don't need to be chased by the killer. Also, rank does not matter all that much.
-
I have played this game for four years, I only got offered one once. I let that Jake go.

****youkiller

/s? this game isnt balanced around voice comms. everybody knows that. This isn't minecraft and stop pretending playing with your friends in dbd is fine
Obviously it is not fine, but you can't just take it away since that would take away a huge part of the player base. The game is already in a very stale spot right now, taking away SWF would just take another fun thing away.

PlayStation has frame rate issues. Skill check comes up as soon as another survivor gets hooked? Frame drop, miss the skill check. So it's more accurate to say OP had a frame drop.
Ah, I see.
-
It is already strong enough, it doesn't need a buff.

Both

...so who's fault is it that your internet keeps spiking?

Most cancerous thing in the game is why it is still alive. ironic, isn't it?
You're right, people playing with their friends is the most absolute scummiest thing ever. Let's take it away so they may never experience it again.

You lost me when you said killer was too easy. Couldn't read past that.
-
The best advice I can give you without getting too into it is to not overuse your crouch. Only use the crouch ability when you know exactly where survivors are, use it as an ambush.
This will work well with tracking perks that lets you see survivors on gens, or nurses calling (with sloppy for good measure).

I feel this! I actually much prefer Final Judgment to his actual mori because there's something surreal about him just slamming the blade on the survivor on the ground and then leaving their lifeless body behind ;-;
The actual mori is so corny lol
Yeah, I love the final judgment. It is just so cool and satisfying.
-
The most disappointing one for me was pyramid head. Like sure, the metal coming up from the ground is cool, but the barbed wire that curls around is just really cheesy, same thing for when he twists the knife in the survivors chest. Since there is no gore, the twist is just dumb imo.
The best one is the Oni's, for obvious reasons.

I would say why reddit, but none of these makes sense lol

The other most recent gameplay I have of him is this one where I forgot to change a build so used Feng as a backpack:
And this game on Badham from 4 months ago, so it's pretty outdated:
Cool thx, nice shots u got there chief
1:25 - 1:35 on the bottom video was pretty sweet, clicky jake gets rekt

gen rushing is survivors focusing on completing main objective as fast as possible.
It is a problem, really, especially for low tier killers that physically cannot pressure survivors well enough to enter endgame with at least 1 kill (not even talking about having at least 2 survivors on a death hook).
Noed naturally slows the game down by putting survivors under threat of being wiped out if they don't take their time to deal with totems.
So I personally see no real problem in the perk itself. You can focus on doing bones and making sure all 5 totems are broken (btw I personally always check for 5 broken totems when playing solo q if I know I'm not going to leave the moment exit gates are powered) or you can just let go of that, rush gens and leave.
There's more problems in some killers that can use noed, pop+tinkerer and some other gen slowdown perk as well as their ability to achieve insane pressure, although at the same time survivors can optimise themselves so well, that they overcome even such nuisance.
So I personally won't be looking forward to nerfing anything right now. I'll be waiting for MMR system to more or less sort everything out, so that slugging-motherdaughtersring-pop-tinkerer-noed-infectious spirits get matched with tournament swfs and casual players are matched with casual players, to really see how things are going on.
Because right now most perks or killers feel so OP or underwhelming because players are not playing with equally skilled opponents, which greatly affects the whole picture.
Agreed, it isn't that gen speeds are too fast, it is just that killers are too weak for the most part and the maps are too favorable to the survivors.
I still sort of disagree with NOED though, it is just really hard for solo players to get them all cleansed. Even then, the fact that its existence was because gens were being done too fast is also just straight up poor design, instead of fixing the issue BHVR just implemented a band-aid fix (what a surprise). I would like to see NOED be changed to have a strong endgame effect rewarding the killer for doing well throughout the match.

Those killers looked like they just wanted an ez game. The Freddy could have used puddles to slow them down but he wanted pity. Killers aren't supposed to down everyone instantly. A long chase doesn't mean the map is broken, it means the killer was bad.
I admit the killer wasn't the best in that video, but if you put a good survivor on that map I guarantee you that you will see just how powerful one part of the map is especially with the right RNG.
-
If they did that, I would be very happy.
It is nothing more than a fantasy tho.

At one point the farm map was drastically reduced in size, those are really killer sided now. There is nothing in the middle of rotten fields. Haddonfield is really a little more fair after they baracaded the windows in the buildings. Killers still most of the time on Haddonfield so they are really killer sided more than anything.
They were reduced in size, not strength of the tiles that usually spawn. It is definitely still survivor-sided.
Haddonfield is still garbage because of all windows being borderline infinites.
And if you somehow think haddonfield is killer sided:
-
Eh, it was a bandaid fix for infinite windows, it could probably be changed to something better since it is only really good on the chainsaw killers.

@Sluzzy said:
It is very bad now playing survivor because there is nothing to work with, nothing good in years and what little bit that is there continues to be taken away. As seen in how decisive strike was ruined, changed so is unable to do anything with it. It was a well designed perk. Now it's a horrible situational perk that killers can play with and feel good. Look at Power Struggle how bad it is. Self-preservation will never help against a rank 1 killer. Meanwhile killers have everything to guarantee wins. BBQ takes all the guesswork away, hook someone and then chase the auras. And new perks to make Ruin way harder to remove along with another 1-shot perk. It's easy to see how killers 4K so much because they get it all.
You mean besides DH, SB, adrenaline, PT, etc all the other good perks left? What about the survivor sided maps such as the farm maps, or Haddonfield and the game?
-
His addons need buffs, and the movement changes reverted back to normal. That is pretty much it. The nerf was also greatly unjustified, literally no one was asking for a billy nerf.

I didn't say too strong, i said stronger
I know, I wasn't saying that you said that infectious time was too strong, just that it is stronger but not crazy powerful.
-
@nursewannabe said:
They said once that surge is ok like this otherwise it'd be too strong, yet other perks that work in a similar way are way stronger already and have no cooldown (infectious fright, who they are totally ok with it, and i can recall not queen saying it here in the forums). Honestly, from a survivor pov I'd rather have IF with a CD and not surge. From killer pov, neither
too strong lol
Infectious fright is strong, but not too strong.
-
@NoOneKnowsNova said:
Unfortunately the devs have said they won't do this as it's too much work having to change it for every new killer that has a chase power.
lol seriously? They can't just code some sort of event in the game that checks "survivor downed / true, in range of gen/ true = surge activates"?
I am definitely not a person who knows how to program games, but this seems pretty darn simple to me.
-
I think it would be better to make the perk have some strong effect during the endgame, only rewarding the killer for doing well throughout the trial.
-
Yeah it is, I spawned on there as Oni just yesterday. A bit odd, but nothing crazy.
-
They shouldn't be killer-sided, rather actually... you know... WORK on the killer's side. It has been ages since I last grabbed a survivor off of anything.
Instead I just get stuck or frozen for a second or two while I pat them on the shoulder, giving them a headstart to run away.

That’s false. I’ve seen killers get kills they didn’t even deserve off of it. DS on the other hand only gives you a one time use with a 5 second stun. When you compare those 2 you can tell which is more powerful.
The old DS (before its recent nerf) worked even when no one was running it if there was an obsession. Then there is the full minute of full-on protection you got when you weren't being tunneled. Then there is the offensive and somewhat abusable part of it, using it with unbreakable or getting the killer's attention and jumping into a locker.
NOED can sometimes work to get more kills and may suck as a perk, but is not more powerful than DS.
-
Russian lady throw hatchet at survivor, very simple and effective.
Deathslinger is sort of similar, but is like scorpion from mortal kombat.
Trickster is just... a disappointment (gameplay-wise).
-
It's rotten fields every friggin time I start up the game as nurse

I agree with this. You rarely see We'll Make It, but it can completely destroy a killers map pressure.
I also think WGLF is quite underrated. I think people don't realize how crazy strong this perk is. Just near one person running this and slugging is heavily punished.
Same with that perk, WGLF is also pretty good despite being situational. I actually frequently use both and when they are both active the killer just cannot snowball.
