I think the most underrated survivor perk is we'll make it. It is literally a godsend when your teammates are boosted and take unecessary hits in solo queue and is just great to have. It also counters sloppy.
-
The fact that its existence came from the idea of "gen rushing" or as a certain dev said (not hating) "if gens get done too fast for you" shows that its core design was to be there for killers who could not pressure the survivors, it is just a badly designed perk. I am not saying that the killer who uses NOED was bad though, sometimes you can just be outperked or outmaped (sometimes).
This also doesn't take into account of solo queue (none of these NOED posts saying "stop whining" do actually). Just how are you supposed to deal with NOED then? You have teammates who don't do bones for the most part and if you yourself (alone) actively seek out the totems scattered across the map, then you hinder your team from completing gens for a perk the killer might not even have. But I guess survivors should just suck it up and cleanse all 5 totems right?
Gen rushing is literally the survivors doing their objective btw, not some "meta or toxic strat".
-
why does this make claudette look like she is practicing karate in a bathrobe?
-
tbh Bruce Wayne would just hire batman to be taken by the entity instead of him since he is so rich
/s
-
Yeah, I swear I don't know what to do sometimes. Do I spend time looking for his traps? Do I keep running around and hope I don't step in them? I am a solo queue player so it makes it even worse.
-
I love how the video ended with the final judgment in process.
-
... and get away with it
-
What if I told you that you could actually play survivor without any perks and be just fine even at rank 1?
-
It's a bit uncommon for me, I honestly don't think it is that bad.

Wdym bubba is facecamping because he wants you to get upset? What a childish logic.
Well, maybe some people facecamp for that sake, but definitely not the majority. Usually people facecamp because it bloody works. Survivors get so greedy that they literally put their heads in a trap.
It was an example of certain toxic players btw, they don't always play leatherface. It's more of just logic in general.

I love it, definitely fits in high skill play.
But I can see this making low rank survivors struggle even more. Maybe some kind of compromise? I dunno, it's difficult to make changes for both red and yellow ranks at the same time because it's like a different game in there.
I think it would not be a problem, just another thing the survivors to adapt to. If the killer comes, then run. They will get distance off the killer by doing so, same as when the killer has pop.

I just type "gg wp :)" then sit back and smile while I watch the salt roll out of them because they haven't got what they wanted.
I've come up with numerous counters over the years like if they say I'm a baby killer I just put yeah you're right I suck at this game, you played really well though :). It's honestly funny watching their plan backfire while they just end up getting more annoyed than they wanted you to be in the first place lol.

i don't think is like a problem, cheaters are not so many in this game then other projects. Thank god bhvr got something good at this game. Problems is a many bugs and some salty players who making this game less playable and more unenjoyable for others.
lol yeah, surprisingly even though cheaters come up in this game here and there, BHVR does a pretty good job of keeping them in check.
-
I don't think so, there really would be no point to that and would give killers a guaranteed advantage each game if they could memorize the spawns. It would also make the game a bit stale if you always spawned in the same places in each map. The randomness of the game is what makes it unique and fun.
-
You're right Sluzzy. Lets take it away so we can let survivors grief and wait for the killer to come to the exit gate so they can tbag the killers for that EZ win feeling, just like old times.
-
Problem, she has no counterplay and very unfun to play against even a decent one.

With the devs stating that survivor visual updates are taking place since early February, we can assume they'll be ready with them within a few months from now.
What are your expectations?

I expect more jiggle physics, for their hair of course.

Clown is definetely better than Trapper
I actually think Trapper is better because he can actually snowball and completely shut down loops. Clown can't snowball without devour soap, or the survivors messing up badly.
Then there are the addons. Trapper has more addons that actually help him when compared to how many Clown has to help him.

He already got buffed with the newest DLC though.
He's not the worst killer anymore, because Trickster is 👐
He never was the worst killer, the clown took that occupation.

hell no it ain't, killers have to stop world hunger to get their adept
survivors just have to escape

No they've been treating their licensed characters well.

I am not, it is the anniversary event so I think they will actually try this time especially if it is licensed.

This map is hell, for killers.
-
I remember that they said that they pretty much changed their minds.
-
Survivors should actually, killers already get good BPs per game.

Mixed feelings about this myself
I mean, I'm not exactly mad you did that because - duh, I'm a killer main.
But survivors working together in the chat is something I want to see more of. Many of these people complain that killers can see what they're bringing in but can't see the killer. I often argue that the survivors being able to pre-game coordinate is there to counteract this. You really can't blame them for using this advantage - and you sandbagging them in this matter is kinda a scummy move.
It is okay to talk strategy pre-game, but bringing a Haddonfield offering is a scummy thing to do in my eyes. I play killer as well, so I know how BS Haddonfield is especially when survivors send me there when they bring BL. I would have been fine with any other map since (I assume) that we were all solo, but Haddonfield is just too strong for survivors. Haddonfield is no fun for killers, and I did not want to go into a match knowing that this is what the killer was going to be put against. In my eyes, bringing Haddonfield offerings is scummy, but that might just be our opinion on things.

Ha I love it. You are a very positive influence for the community :)
I ain't gonna let someone suffer through that just as I do when playing killer.

Camping and tunneling happen all the time, whether it is intentional, or accidental. You could accidentally run into someone who was just unhooked, or you could intentionally go for them.
Sometimes there is a situation to camp a survivor because there is a finished generator next to them, or two really close by. The killer could also camp to let the person on hook die if they are almost out of time and the killer needs someone out of the game as well.
The killer really has no reason to avoid these situations unless they just want to be nice, which thankfully there are some nice killers out there who go out of their way for that. It is much appreciated whether or not people tell you.
Then there is intentionally camping and tunneling just to be a douche. It is honestly not even that big of a deal for me, I just laugh off a bubba face camping me and go into the next game, or if I am being hardcore tunneled then I make sure to waste as much time as possible. For others however, it upsets them quite a bit.
I also don't think that you can ever fully get rid of these strategies, but I do believe that you can encourage healthier and more fun gameplay. For example, if the game encouraged 12 hooking all survivors, the game would be more fun since there is more interaction with the survivors and killers.
-
The Trickster is better morally though.

What did thy say after the match?
Nothing, the guy just stormed off.
The blight thanked be tho
-
No, I also think it sucks. I think it should be buffed to ruin lvl 3 speed and take 3 seconds of "jumpstarting" the generator before it can be repaired again.
-
I made a short guide on this before.
-
I almost did that as Wraith, the true invisibility buff is great for sneaking up on people like that.

You're still "chasing" that survivor though, even if it's a surprise hit.
The chases you have should be short if you are able to play correctly, keeping your encounter with each survivor short.
-
Head on is the worst exhaustion perk actually.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Tbh he's quite boring to go against for me. His chases are just the typical M1 chase that I've done thousands of times and there's nothing new to them. It's always the same mindgames and pathings. Same reason I don't like play him that much, there's never anything new.
You aren't really supposed to chase as Wraith though, if you think you are going to have to go into a normal chase, it is better to just switch off to another survivor and sneak up on them for the initial hit.
-
I miss the old Sluzzy.
-
At least it is better than adding an animation for the female survivors to take off their socks and shoes at the start of a trial.
-
I think that would be way too strong.
This would mean that survivors every 30 seconds could heal themselves at normal speeds. Healing yourself is a very powerful strategy that saves time and allows the survivor to get a health state, and this perk would allow them to do that every 30 seconds. This could also encourage survivors to run toolboxes since they don't have to deal with healing nearly as much.
-
I am pretty sure he does, he is speaking Korean so you'd need someone who knows that language. Although, I did read a post from a supposed native Korean speaker who said that the Trickster's voice lines are pretty bad.
-
I honestly think that the aesthetic of this chapter was great, the gameplay... not so much... at all.
The perks were expected to be as good as they were, decent.
-
It is a beam that can be spawned using the glass bead addon on a map.

you have a 10 minute queue for a reason
killers don't want to play anymore because it's too hard.
Either nerf SWF or buff killers that's the only way to fix this
it is better to actually buff killers and balance maps and perks.
-
So because SWF is unbalanced we should buff all killers by giving them a 5th perks slot?
What about solo queueing survivors? What about already strong killers?
-
If they are using iron will and walking around a lot, you will know that they couldn't have gone too far. Coming out of phase earlier is a good strategy that works better with the addons reducing the time needed to phase and speed addons.
Just having good headphones turned up is also a good thing to do, it is very hard but you can hear footsteps and crouched footsteps leaving survivors with almost no way to get away.
-
Yes, at least for the current state of the game as a whole. Imagine an mmr system that worked and put survivors (even solo queuing ones).
You would only be able to play nurse and spirit at rank one. However, if the maps were more balance, the perks were more fair, and the killers much stronger, then the game would be in a much better position.
-
Well first off he needs that reveal mechanic to be consistent.
And second besides his stalking power, he has no other power for being a stealthy killer that needs to chase. He could use a buff or two, some change at least that helps him.
-
According to their big data, it is not much of a concern for them :/
-
If it is successful, then maybe.

the same logic can be applied to all of the other exhaustion perks except head on and smash hit, they literally press a button to gain distance
at least try and seem consistent with your argument
The other perks are conditional though.
Lithe needs a window or dropped pallet to activate.
SB if being used correctly will leave you exhausted most of the game, and can sometimes be used for distance. It is not solely used just for gaining distance on the killer, and unless you 99% or you happen to have it ready it won't do anything in a chase.
Even head on and smash hit are situational. Head on needs a locker, and smash-hit needs a pallet.
Dead hard can work at any time as long as you are injured and requires no special condition to activate.
