Survivor: We'll make it
Killer: Whispers
-
I had two times I can still remember to this day.
1: I was still new to the game at the time in 2017 and was learning the basics of everything. I was still a mediocre player and was on the Thompson house with two dwights and david against a huntress. For some reason, after I completed a generator a Dwight was tbagging and pointing at me for no reason. Then the other Dwight comes along with the killer behind him. I was terrified then, only a mere baby bill with minimal looping skills.
They then proceeded to drag the killer to me and the other david that game. David died early on, I managed to do 2 and half gens at the start and mid game, miraculously. The Dwights kept coming up to sandbag me as well so the huntress could throw hatchets easier and hit me, just being really scummy. They also pre sandbagged the window vaults at tiles, which I used to my advantage. I actually made the huntress hit them by faking the window vault and sand bagging them back a little bit 3 times, hitting each of them twice and downing one of the two. I was very proud of that. Every time I tried to hide in a locker, one of them used bond to reveal my location and point in the locker. I did eventually die, but it definitely took over 4 minutes (rekt). I waited until the end game chat to see their response, and they apparently DID have an excuse. If I remember correctly they said something along the lines of "I'm sorry we had to do it and didn't mean to"........... so yeah, was NOT happy that game. I reported all of them except david and left. I bet they didn't even get banned.
2: A little over a month ago when I was being targeted by a cheater. I say targeted because it was obvious that the cheater was targeting me. The guy literally joined me in a total of 6 different games (yes, the same guy) and at one point 4 times in a row. He kept freezing the game for me shortly after the match started and used every kind of cheat imaginable. I was able to get back at him though, see my post about how to get back at cheaters and toxic players to see how. I basically wasted almost an hour of his time.

Neither side should be overpowered.
True, but I do think that the killer should be powerful. I mean it is a 4v1, an asymmetrical game. The killer is literally supposed to be the power role, not a laughing stock, but by no means OP.

"Help! I can't survive without my busted DS!"
-
Breakable walls, no pretty stary night sky (on most maps), lack of real environmental factors such as simple breezes or precipitation.

I completely agree with the DS changes, DS is suppose to be an anti tunnel perk, before this nerf it wasn't that it was an immunity badge that lasted for 60 seconds. Now it actually does what it was intended to do.
No more 59 second DS stuns.
-
about 3 times in total, before it would have been a LOT more. And this was in about 20 - 30 games as killer.

This is so spot on.
I've said it before. They keep nerfing solos. Hence it pushes people into SWF. They nerf DS and people start clapping with their ears. This didn't cause any harm to SWF. It caused harm to solos.
To be fair, DS was pretty stupid before the nerf honestly. But I do agree with the nerfs to solo queue. Solo queue players haven't had anything buffed for them since kindred got buffed. They need some sort of communication to perform optimally or at least a little better. New gestures would be a start.

You lost me at
The Killers in this game are not overpowered (except maybe Freddy)"
-
Because BT activates in the killer's terror radius, and the trickster has a terror radius.
-
Bug, it has been around for a while. It also happens every once in a while on macmillian.
-
Take risks, why? Cuz it doesn't matter if they create another twins, they are the only successful game of its genre at the moment. It's not like they would lose their customers (not for long at least). They should be doing that already to secure their place, but nope.
-
That's pretty cool for a change, the problem is finding the other totem lol. Totem spawns are so inconsistent it's crazy.
-
Ah, you must be fun to play with I'm sure, just f everyone else right?

Isn't blizzard really big? That's kinda a bad comparison to make. Rather, compare them to smaller studios like Klei, they manage to fix stuff fast despite being itsy bitsy tiny in comparison.
BHVR is also big. 600 people actually, BHVR is no small indie company.

Yeah, lets just bring the most anti counter killer in the game and meta perks and lose a rank anyways because all good nurses do is slug.
You're right, every good nurse slugs everyone. /s

Why is everyone so hell-bent on basekit ricochet? Like it doesn't solve anything about why he's a bad killer. It's such an insignificant idea to buff his kit and yet every single post mentions it like it's the second coming of Jesus.
It's not really to make him stronger, but make him more of a trickster. It is a little trick he can do, right now he is a pretty meh trickster, the name doesn't fit just right.
-
Well she would just run away and try to hide making the nurse think she is working on gens, just like old times. If she is careful about it, she should escape.
-
I'm just imagining Clown come out of the generator like Freddy.
-
I shot a Meg from about 16 meters away running around at the gate waiting for me to come. I had the iri coin. Only one person was not near the exit gate, she should have left lol. Very bold of someone on death hook

Doctor is not bad killer lol
Myers, Trapper, Trickster, Demo and some killers need buff. Doctor is fine.
I didn't say he was bad, just weak. I might have implied that though.
However the doctor is definitely on the weaker side of killers for sure.

Good god no. And I’m a Doc main myself. His kit is already as bloated as Freddy’s. The last thing he needs is an insta-down built into his power without perks/add-ons.
I thought u mained clown, you lied to us???
-
@th3 said:
I like the idea of his kit. It has the tracking and anti loop, especially since they reworked him I don't think he really needs changes such as an insta down.
@Dovahkat963 said:
I don't think the Doctor needs help there. He already has:
Free tracking/antistealth with his static blast.
Built-in slowdown with madness skill checks and forcing survivors to snap out of it at madness 3 before they can do gens again.
Can deny the use of pallets and windows with a carefully timed shock therapy to score free hits.
Pretty much the only things he doesn't have are mobility, built-in stealth, and instadowns. And he shouldn't get those because if he had mobility on top of the rest of his kit he'd be busted, he can't be stealthy because his power functions by going in loud and proud, and he really doesn't need instadowns because he can, as mentioned, end chases very quickly with properly timed shock therapy for free hits.
Yeah I guess, it was just a lil idea I had since Doctor lacks lethality against good survivors. Although @Dovahkat963 I wouldn't say the snap out of it action counts as legitimate slowdown since it is so short though. I do agree with everything else though.

Would conceding not be exactly that?
No, that is cowardice. Taking the full brunt of the tbags and clicking flashlights is the tough guy route. Leaving the match is just cowardly.

Do you think Oni is viable on Haddonfield?
Not against anyone who knows how to loop the tiles there, only nurse and spirit, maybe only nurse honestly. It is just constant god tier windows on houses with elevation and strong pallets everywhere.
-
Unless you are spirit or nurse maybe even hag, there really is nothing you can do. The map is literally BS.
-
None, you take your loss like a man.
-
No, even with its strong effect. It is more of a gimmick perk than anything.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Doctor is not weak lol. He's a pretty solid B tier.
I don't think so. He is decent and I would put him at the lower end of the B tier. He is all about information and his shock therapy becomes less and less useful against any survivor that knows how to hold W.
-
DBD players will complain about literally anything that doesn't go their way

I would play Freddy and as I was about to hook a survivor id say

But realisitcally. If proximity chat were to be added it would probably just be more toxic crap we would have to deal with.
True, the sad reality of this.

Yes I've become an old pro at exhausting myself on the ground.
You use it for distance, not to dodge basic attacks.
-
Ok but do you use dead hard?
-
I would be disappointed, some of them sound amazing.
-
I think we should update the list, don't you?
-
I think so. One of my earliest memories was playing Bill on coal tower against wraith in early 2017. I think I managed to do a gen, but I was hiding in lockers for a good portion of the match lol. Literally everytime I got out of the locker I would hear the killers terror radius and get right back in for like a minute straight, the afk crows started to show up. I think I left early that game so I could just say that my first game was an escape.
-
They will learn one day to wield the flashlight.

Your comment about Meg made me nearly choke on a chunk of mango. I just died in a match due to the inactivity of a Meg.
It's a sign

I REALLY like your idea of dropping a medkit for another player. I play with the perk Plunderer's a lot so I try and drop the items for characters who have nothing in a match. I really do think it helps them feel empowered, and a good item doesn't go to waste.
II think it is a very underrated action. It is situational, butt very efficeint. I like to give a medkit with 32 charges (2 heals) to someone on death hook so they can last longer.
-
it already isn't OP
-
lol yes, whenever I see a tbagging clicky clicky survivor

@MadLordJack said:
It's not, but it is in need of a rework alongside most second chance perks. It pretty much exists to enable genrushing, since it robs the killer of any late-game pressure they might have and... Well, it rewards you for not healing and instead slamming gens.
It rewards survivors for making it to the endgame and doing their objective. And it doesn't do anything the whole game.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
It's an incredible strong perk, especially if more than one survivor has it. The downside is that you play 90% of the match with 3 slots and makes it easier for the killer to kill you during it.
yep, but that depends on how good you are as a survivor and I guess what perks you have. Survivors can play with garbage perks and still do just fine if they are good.
-
For BHVR to actually start giving us the content we have been paying for, also establish a clear communicative system for the community.

Make it so that keys turn into a troll face when you try to use them and then literally explode.
Also give Bill a shirtless skin. Give every male survivor and killer a shirtless skin.
*COUGH what about the female survivors and killers? Don't want to be sexist now do we? lol
-
STBFL
It is a better, more consistent perk on this killer. He can't rely on totems to get powered up.
-
It is not a problem, a very balanced yet strong killer perk that rewards killers for doing their objective. Very good perk.

Kinda, he still has to obey the Entity's rules about hooking Survivors
But at base he has the ability to sacrifice them his own way and just straight up givem the CHOP
-
You don't.
