    This is currently. So now you'll say "obviously, you got so many hours". True. BUT 80% of those hours are survivor. And out of all the killers, I can count the matches as Spirit, for example. I really barely touched her.

    She's the easiest most broken kiler by far. I'd not put her above Nurse when it comes to "potential". But for the most players, she's definitely performing better than Nurse.

  • Yeah, I mean if we were to compare the best player who plays nurse and the best player who plays Spirit, Nurse is just superior. But, while Nurse requires a certain amount of skill and effort, Spirit requires 0. Anybody can 4k decent teams as a Spirit, whether that person is good or bad.

  • I honestly think at this point adding anything more to the whole generators thing is a breaking point. People are dying at 5 gens currently. We really don’t need more gen simulator.

  • 1. Buff solo queue. Kindred as base kit. totem counter. Know who’s being chased. Properly rework DS.

    2. Ranking system. Make it way harder to rank up and get rid of all the people who are single ranks and shouldn’t be there.

    3. Nerf absurdly broken killers that require 0 effort like Freddy and Spirit.

    It would, nerfing stridor will make her harder, that. Spirit mains rely on Stridor to get an ez win. Same happens with UB, BT, DS, SH (Smash Hit) DH, etc.

    I was more pointing out that she needs to give SOME kind of data when phasing or during her phase. Something to work with. Knowing when she phases would help with the "stand still" strat at pallets, as it would remove that "mind game" entirely (the fact this "strat" is a tip on the loading screen makes me think it won't ever be changed by who knows). I'd also like something that gives SOME idea of where she is when phased. Even if its a spooky blowing wind sound when she's within a set distance, to let you know she's close. Something. ANYTHING.     Yeah but, again, this would have little effect on her. The real issue of Spirit is you literally have no idea where she is but she knows where you are at all times. So, if you knew "ok she's phasing now" it would still have no effect on the outcome whatsoever. The moment you walk (and she saw you 1 second ago so she knows where you are), she stops phasing, and hits you. In order to have any change, they need to nerf her ability to know the exact location of survivors. Make her hear weird noises while phasing and not be able to hear footsteps or moaning survs and then it does turn into a true mind game guessing.

  • The only thing I hate about the reworked maps is it's full of dead zones, you can literally see everyone from one corner of the map throughout the other end of the map, and breakable walls as dead ends.

    Basically this. Counterplay is based on using info provided during a scenario. Spirit kinda defeats that entirely. With Nurse, you can see them charging their blink and which direction they are going, so you have SOME data to work with, even if it's going to be rough to use. Stealth Killers move slowly and can still be seen. Fast-bois give you some kind of warning they are coming and you normally have at least a moment to TRY and react. Spirit has nothing. It's just a coin toss. Being easy to use doesn't help matters much.

    I mean what would this change? Nothing. So, imagine you're given info she's phasing. Ok. You can do 2 things now: You walk and stop running, so she goes out of phasing and normally hits you, or you continue running and she hits you anyway.


    She shouldn't be able to hear when phasing. She should only be guided through scratch marks and know the approximate location so she has to guess. As long as she can predict 100% accurately where you are (decent headphones) knowing she's phasing influences absolutely nothing lol

  • Just a question. Is there anything in this game you consider something you have to overcome yourself, or literally everything must be hand-fed?

  • I think this is not enough. What about a 250% movement speed in AND out of chases? this would be balanced as good survivors should still be able to play around this. Plus, there's SWF.

    First, they have to release 30 more paid skins, 20 more DLCS, give a few more interviews saying how amazing they are, suggest they're gonna buff this or that killer, promise the MMR and hit validation improvements and then do nothing, wait for the 10th year anniversary of the game and release 1 Dwight reskin, THEN fix the pallet bug, AND THEN you might get the Trickster map.

  • This forum is full of amazing survivors. I like that. They're always lecturing others on how to play survivor and how easy it is. However, it's impossible to catch them playing and doing well. It's the famous "if that was me" situation, and in any given THEORETICAL situation, "this is what happens" and "this is how it's done". It will never be them personally however. It's always that amazing OP SWF squad, that is mysteriously everywhere, and solos don't exist.

    And repeat this situation by infinite amount of times.

    Where did I say it was fine? You 3 just missed the point completely and wanted to go straight to an argument but whatever. If you go into solo Q survivor without the intention to win and you focus on practicing chases etc, you'll have a better time than playing purely to win because relying on random people in an online game is always a dice roll. This statement applies to literally every team based multiplayer game on the planet and there's no real way to make it better.

    But there's ways. People are constantly giving ideas. Like Kindred as base kit. And more ideas along those lines. Make it perfect? no way. Make it better? absolutely.

    I can only second that. I'm playing this game since its release and killer can be frustrating, but only if you play vs a decent, coordinated SWF team. During other games I usually 3k-4k. In many games survivors only manage to repair 1-2 gens at most.

    Solo, on the other hand, is horrible in 80-85% of all games. And it's probably not gonna change in the near future because ... who cares. That's why I barely play DBD anymore, DEVs don't respect their playerbase.

    This is word by word my experience.


    Solo survivor is borderline unplayable. If the killer is somewhat experienced (anything that isn't yellow rank or worse) it's a lost game already. People don't know what they're doing, they're put in purple-red ranks WAY too fast and WAY too early because they got carried by friends, keys, just crouching + hatch, and as I said, a really broken rank system. It's very often that I will get chased for a good minute or 2 before I go down, but that literally doesn't matter and nobody makes use of it. I have matches in which I will do 3 gens, unhook everyone, get chased, break Ruin, break NOED, literally EVERYTHING by myself, then I just can't help but go down and get hooked, and I've seen how 3 people look at me. On the hook. From the moment I get hooked throughout the whole hook sacrifice bar and struggle phase until I die. They still stand there looking at me. They sometimes don't even open the gate. They just crouch.


    That's solo survivor in red ranks for you.

    My own experience playing survivor since the all kill patch in case you are wondering.

    1. This bug needs to be fixed asap since it makes weak pallets weaker and strong pallets weaker.

    2. Out of 10 matches today I got facecamped 7 and instantly tunneled all matches when there was no obsession even if the unhooker was injured.

    3. Not as often anymore.

    4. Been noticing that killers have been more rude but I don't really mind that.

    5.in fact yes, I'm starting to see more sluggers than before.

    6. I don't get value so I don't use it at all, I have been using more obsession perks though.

    This is a legit question from a killer main to survivor mains.

    1. Most of the killers I've gotten were Nurses and Spirits. I didn't even have the chance to stun much to begin with.
    2. All the time. They camp/tunnel me, and everyone else in every game. Last night (I actually had nice matches for the first time in forever though) I had a Hag trapping hook/camping and tunnelling but most hags do that so nothing new. Then I was facecamped (I took screenshots of this too) by a Nurse who also facecamped every person who got hooked, she didn't leave the hook once. Then another Nurse in the School map facecamped me with NOED at the end. Then facecamped by a Spirit who also didn't leave the hook all game though the 4 of us survived. Overall, most people always camped and tunnelled at red ranks but it has increased.
    3. It really depends. Yesterday I won about 80% of my matches and it must have been like 10 matches. But some other days you get 5 awful pointless matches in a row.
    4. if by "rude" you mean tunnelling and camping, definitely yes. As I said most of them always did. But it did get worse.
    5. Not from my experience, same as before.
    6. About half my matches with, half without. I must have made use of it 20% of them yesterday, since usually when I get hooked I get Facecamped and I either die and they escape (and if this happens it's a result I'm happy with) or it's by the very end and they leave me on the hook.


    That being said, I like how in the forums everyone apparently plays without DS, they never get tunnelled or if they do they love it, every game is wonderful, they don't mind dying 80% of the time, as long as "they make X bloodpoints". It must be a me problem that I'm very competitive and like to play optimally. Everyone else is apparently wonderful and there's no issues.

  • Yeah, pretty much a combination of everything people have already said. I like the perk, it's nice. However I see a few main inconvenients:

    1. It forces hook rushing with solos
    2. Very often you gotta chase the random to Narnia and back before they let you touch them
    3. It doesn't work on yourself (this would be amazing tbh)
    4. In the end, while it's nice, it takes up a slot and I'd rather have a stronger perk for being altruistic like BT.


    I think they could buff it a bit, to not directly work on yourself like it does on others, but maybe make unhooking a bit faster as well? (10% faster) AND make the notification when someone with We'll make it unhooks you, more obvious.

    Now I'm aware other perks like Nobody left Behind already does this, so they should change this perk too, but it's a pretty useless perk anyway now that the end game collapse makes the end game last so little time. There's so many outdated perks.

    Yea that's a lie 😂. You can adjust to blink distance in a few days.. Alright. But to learn how to deal with LOS breaking, dealing with loops, etc. That takes quite a bit of experience to actually consistently land blinks. How high of a skill ceiling people say it takes is absolutely true.

    That might be your opinion. I absolutely disagree and while she’s certainly more difficult than most killers, that doesn’t inherently make her difficult. Because most killers are dumb easy.

    I've said it before. They keep nerfing solos. Hence it pushes people into SWF. They nerf DS and people start clapping with their ears. This didn't cause any harm to SWF. It caused harm to solos.

    And how many hours in killer? Unless your talking extreme hours (5k+) I don't really believe that you can master her in 3-4 matches. Id guess you have played her a bit before, and slowly gotten used to her. I even doubt your at the level of a nurse main.

    On top of this, you havent disputed any claims about the counterplay and how punishing her power is. Overall, my point still stands.

    I got 4.500 hours in DBD more or less. About 30-50 must be as Nurse. I'm far from "main". My point is, if you know how to play and the basics of the game well / maps, she really is nothing too difficult to master. People really exaggerate how much skill it takes. They make it sound like she's like getting a Master's Degree

    @CustomerService How, in any way, is Trickster "hit or be hit"? I guess if you consider taking 1/8th of a health state per knife you can say this, but you aren't taking damage just because he is using his power.

    I guess if you are bad at dodging I could see how this could be the case, but that's more a you problem than a Killer being "doomed if you do - doomed if you don't pick your poison hit or be hit".
