this game has tournaments?

4,5 years of devlopment, a rich company behind the game but the game still feels like early beta.

this is just embarassing.

    watch the video i linked.

  • Well we all know competitive DbD is a complete joke and probably won't ever get to a point where it isn't one, all these clips being all the proof we need.

  • Survivor was punished for being greedy.

I played a wretched shop today without a single jungle gym. The only random structures were occasional car loops and the bus. pogchamp game 7 pallets 80% the map was a deadzone from the very beginning.

Also played the game with like 999999999 safe pallets seems completely esports ready for me.

Completely false. Like not even remotely true. Good killers win. Have you watched any?

  • I love how the video ended with the final judgment in process.

Those are god killers (people who are good and use dbd as their livelihood so will have around 10k+ hours.

And they are sometimes beat or struggle against good survivor swf with 4k hours max.

Does this experience difference not tell you that if a killer with 10k+ hours struggles against 4k SWF that's an issue.

I have ~3000 hrs and typically don't struggle against the SWFs you describe. In fact, if they only have 4k combined between all 4, there's a chance they get obliterated. SWF is not this boogeyman people think it is. A lot of killers play very poorly and then chalk their problems up to SWF

excuse me what? you say playing optimal needs be punshied by getting a undeserved hit? killer community in a nutshell

  • yes bc it gives me a lot of advantages on a jungle gym or any other loop?

stop calling people scumbag mate. and first talk about the nurse fatigue cancel exploit, the blight dpi exploit.

dedi servers giving undeserved hits and a lot more.

  • I find it funny people can take this game seriously enough to do tournaments with all the bugs and balancing issues it has

  • The people who like to play this game causally, are not gonna have a fun time if MMR actually works. High MMR is basically gonna be Hexy's tournament, which will really result in boring games for both sides.

Casual players will enjoy the new MMR. Streamers won´t.

Well it's not gonna be fun for people who have loads of hours invested into this game, whether it be casual people who play this game a lot, someone who's not a streamer but has a lot of hours who plays competitively, and the streamers of course. There's nothing wrong with having challenging matches, but if my survivor games are just Nurse and Spirit constantly I'll get bored because lack of variety.

I had a blast during the 24h test. My killer matches felt more relaxing and my survivor matches were with competent survivors. So i´m optimistic in that regard.

this wasnt a late drop. just watch the video and look at the swing animation how late he swung. if that is a normal hit then dbd is in a bad direction i can tell you that.

At what point did I say about getting a 4 kill game, I was talking about 4k hours my dude. It seems you can't read. So nice strawman.

Also, if there is such a difference in hours, then they should be getting 4k every game. Or at least a 3k.

They usually have 4-5k hours on those survivors they face, and easily outskill them in terms of knowledge and mechanics. However the base of the game is that the survivors need to mess up for killers to get kills, so often it's not on how skillfull the killer is, especially at these levels of play, but on how many mistakes a survivor makes. If a survivor swf with 2-3k hours, is on the same level as a killer with over 7k hours, doesn't that tell you there's an issue.

But of course, your just here to spout bull ######### and belittle people, not actually have a good discussion on something.

I wasnt making an comparing the hours, i was saying that a lot of killers expect an 4K as an win

And ######### are you saying, if an survival makes 0 mistakes why should it loose

Like it dosent even have a lot to say, if it really have such more knowledge of the game and its using an good killer like nurse, he will win

Your point about 10H killers vs 4H survival are only gonna be actully right if the killer decide to play as an killer like clown, where his power dont have enought power to show how good the killer is

No that's just the PH having bad internet. I'm pretty sure if they knew he had bad internet they would've dropped the pallet earlier.

They were hit through the pallet instead of the killer getting stunned how it should have been. That has nothing to do with the survivor getting greedy.

This seems to be a new bug with pallets.

Getting hit through a pallet is new? There's a delay between the killer and the server and the survivor and the server. The killer's hit went through the same time the survivor threw the pallet. Both event are registered. I could make the case the pallet shouldn't of been thrown after downing a survivor.

It's not new, and often the hit can be fair enough, since the killer can get the hit right before the survivor hits the killer with the pallet.

But no matter what, the killer would normally get stunned, and that's not the case here. And it definitely looks like the hit happens clearly after the pallet should already have stunned the killer.

If pallet stuns weren't broken right now I believe that would still hit. Only difference is the killer didn't get stun.

  • Unfortunately...dbd tournaments exist.

  • Jesus thats one wacky res lmao

  • Its impossible for this game to be competitively viable thanks to how impossible it is to balance. Scott Jund made a good video and referenced how the game Evolve died thanks to trying to balance it for a competitive environment.
