"voice coms don't do much"
1) "everybody rush gens the killer is insidious camping!"
2) "everybody stay at your generator I found ruin!"
3) "everybody stay at your generator I'm going for the unhook"
4) "I'm being chased. Can someone finish my 90% gen at the killer shack before the killer hooks me and kicks the gen with Pop Goes The Weasel?"
5) "killer is slugging with third seal! I got slugged next to the totem which is next to the fire barrel in the cow loop!"
6) "the killer has Spirit Fury! Drop the pallet earlier so the killer doesn't get stunned!"
7) "I cleansed all 5 totems to get noed out of the way so don't waste time looking for totems!"
8) "I'm at the generator next to the gate near the jungle gym if someone wants to help me pump out this generator while (insert name of SWF mate here) is getting chased!"
9) "I found ruin but the killer is chasing me! It's next to the exit gate behind the crates!"
10) "I just dropped the killer shack pallet"
11) "let me open the gate I'm running wake up. You got Leader so stand behind me!" (not that these perks actually got used by a SWF team but you know what I mean)
I could continue all day but you get the point.

I would like his chainsaw ability to automatically start when fully charged. I have missed so many saws because I let go too early. I should be looking at the survivor but instead I have to stare at the charge bar just to be sure to let go at the right moment.
This change would also prevent leatherface's from just keeping the chainsaw revving while hook camping someone.
Bubba's chainsaw charge mechanic is not the same as Billy's for a reason.
He doesn't get a speed boost once you start the chainsaw attack. In fact Bubba slowly accelerates with each swing which means in order to chainsaw people around objects effectively you have to carefully TIME the attack just when you go around corners.
Therefore this change would be a direct nerf. Also it wouldn't stop ANY camper from camping.
Hillbilly can camp while revving his chainsaw as well. A different charge mechanic doesn't stop you from repeatedly clicking the charge button.
Also if you let go too early it just means you're inexperienced. That's not a legit reason to change in-game content.
3000 hours Leatherface main btw.

They were doomed to lose. The squad didn't even tell the rank 19 to equip one of their perks.
I'm kidding.. but seriously... why do SWF teams not explain this to newbies?
Probably not a SWF team. None of them had borrowed time. Also the matchmaking has been a mess lately. I had two rank 20 survivors without perks and two purple rank survivors in my game a few hours ago. All of them were solo players (none of them joined the lobby at the same time).
Not sure what's going on right now. Matchmaking wants to bully people apparently.
-
I wonder if the dash attack is an AOE mechanic that can injure multiple people.
-
I think it's funny when survivors tbag me at the start of the game as they seemingly don't expect a "default Bubba" to actually be a 3000 hours Bubba main resulting in awkwardly quick games at times.
Maybe I should wear the Meg(head) face from now on so people expect me to be overly clumsy resulting in even quicker games.
-
"Babysitter" is going to be a decent anti tunnel perk. No blood and no scratch marks sounds great on paper especially to counter the typical off the hook tunneling Spirit.
"Camaraderie" could be a decent anti camper perk if they increased the numbers. 14 seconds is not enough to punish campers. It needs to be half a hook stage (30 seconds) at tier 3 at the very least. Hopefully the devs make it so the perk icon pops up for every survivor once you're hooked similar to "Kindred" so solo players have a way to use the perk effectively.

Its not a glitch lol. its intended
He's referring to the bug that causes survivors to be unable to escape since the escape animation won't start. As far as I know the same bug also causes survivors to be unable to wiggle, heal themselves and they can't see heal progression if someone else heals them.
EDIT: The bug isn't platform specific by the way. It happened to many streamers (PC) and to me as well (XB1).

Wow,another typical killer main .
Some people think viable means the killer has to be able to 4k at 5gens I guess. From what I've seen the Demogorgon will have a unique lunge ability combined with high mobility via portals and some tracking via its portals as well. Definitely strong on paper.

All he needs are better addons and being able to easily cancel to chainsaw like billy.
Obviously some of Bubba's addons need to be reworked/buffed/fixed but this thread is specifically about his basekit which isn't sufficient considering his instadown is all he's got. He's got no map pressure, no stealth, no stall potential, normal terror radius and normal movement speed. Therefore his basekit should at least contain a considerably stronger instadown than Hillbilly to make up for the things he lacks.

O wow, I didn’t know that.🤣
Imagine the devs actually gave him 96% while revving the chainsaw. He'd feel like ridiculously strong in the hands of dedicated Bubba mains. 🤩
-
@BlueFang said:
Make it so when he's revving his chainsaw he slows down to 100% survivor movement speed instead of 96%
Actually, Bubba slows down to 86.25% while revving the chainsaw... 😅

Back in the day when I started playing dbd I got mori spammed as a non-toxic solo survivor for minutes (in fact the killer [it was a Hillbilly] spammed his mori for so long I thought the game was bugged) and I got looped for 5 gens, tbagged, messaged etc. as a new killer every now and then.
2 years later I'm still in the game and still playing both sides. If people can't deal with toxicity and rude behaviour in a pvp game Dead By Daylight isn't for them.

"Bladed glove" ;-)
You should start a video series dedicated to the new players when the next chapter drops called "welcome to my world (bad word)".

I won't discriminate survivors, they will all fall under my blade.... if I can catch them.
Always thought you were a Freddy main 🤔

Can't believe the hit connected @ 6:45 ...
-
Apparently loads of SWF bully squads are on the move lately. Probably because of the upcoming chapter that will possibly contain 6 new survivor perks so they want to quickly make a million bloodpoints before the dlc drops.
I almost forgot how pesky people can be in dbd. Playing against solos feels like another game haha.

Just to clarify, they can move 12m in 3 seconds.
This.
Survivors move at 100% which is 4 meters per second in the game. Therefore 3 seconds equals 12 meters of distance.
-
Or maybe it just proves Noob3 -who is arguably one of the best survivors in the world- played 100 games till he finally managed to survive without using pallets.
-
Plague has an Iridescent addon that reveals the aura of puking survivors as far as I know.
EDIT: The addon is called "black incense"
Description: A dark paste made of sharp osseous shavings. The inhaling of its foul fumes sharpens the mind's eye.
- Survivors' Auras are revealed to you for 5 seconds when they vomit
-
I like going against (good) Clowns. He's like an unicorn at the moment. Can't remember the last time I faced one.

Tea bag, emote, flashlight! Oh no!
People should get this game less seriously. There are killers who get upset for everything, So does some survivors of course.
I dont get how people can find t-bag or all these stuff "toxic" or "punishable". All they are doing is making you a favor.
Look at that Cake in your last clip. She stood near the pallet for the whole breaking animation. During that time she could have got so much more distance.
Is like getting mad to someone using no mither, or to a killer shaking his head and wasting time before pick you up (like you have done in your clips).
There is no reason...
Just a question, why you care covering perks and add-ons? You seriously think someone care about that NOED/Insidious? Dont be afraid to use a perk or an item just because some people call it "toxic".
It's cute how you assume to know what perks I'm using based on your personal picture of Bubba. In this case you're entirely wrong, though. I never use noed because people rarely manage to repair more than 2-3 generators in my games. As for Insidious it has become boring. Used it for years - traded it for something more fun. 🙂
Also I never wasted time in my clips shaking my head as both games were over at this point.
Game 1: Someone is hooked in the basement (which proves I didn't run insidious. Also I was standing still for seconds in the first clip which would have activated Insidious visibly 😉), one is tbagging in front of me, another survivor is using emotes behind him. Therefore only 1 survivor was able to do gens which means I already won at that point.
Game 2: The whole team was dead already so why bother picking her up as quickly as possible? It's not like she was going anywhere.
-
Agreed. The retrowave/synthwave dbd theme sounds awesome. Made me watch the trailer like 10 times.

This is pretty cool actually.
And guys, Head On is an exhaustion perk because otherwise you could just repeatedly stun the killer by jumping back into the locker. Also just imagine how dumb it would be to chase someone using it near a locker, you would get hit by it like 500 times a game.
It could be cooldown perk like quick and quiet instead of an exhaustion perk.

which kind of coincides with my statement. he's most likely going to need something to help players understand him a bit more, since it seems like the majority of the playerbase don't know how to use him properly. and if he's dependent on a strong perk build for consistent results, that means he's lacking somewhere, as killers shouldn't entirely depend on a build just to be able to win. :0
All killers need perks to consistently have normal games against decent survivors... Well... Except for very good Nurses and Spirits.
Perks are supposed to make up for a killer's weakness. That's why perks are permanent... Except for hex perks that is.
Now what does Nurse AND Spirit have in common? People call them op BECAUSE their basekits are so strong that they feel completely broken with a strong build.
Therefore you can't say a killer is weak unless you can't even get said killer to perform well regardless of experience AND builds. Just my opinion.
-
Most people don't understand how to play Leatherface efficiently and thus often end up thinking he's weak. He's one of the strongest if not even the strongest mid tier killer in the game but a strong perk build is required for consistent results.
-
Personally I only played against two teams with an OoO user. I didn't feel much of an impact in both games since it allowed me to find the OoO user all the time causing them to die pretty quickly. It's seems like a situational perk that can either help the team a lot (against stealth killers) or cause everyone to die quickly. Way too risky in my book and certainly no reason to rage quit.
-
What killer did you go against?
-
My honest advice is to not play solo survivor unless you don't even want to escape and just play "for the lolz" because there seems to be a huge number of new killers in the game who rush through the ranks like nothing just to end up complaining about experienced survivors who use the maps to their advantage like any good player.
As a result these new killers feel the need to hook-tunnel or facecamp even "solo survivors" which shows just how bad/inexperienced these killers are.
If you are somewhat decent at the game and want to have fun playing survivor do what any good player does in the long run. Play in a SWF team.
-
You did the right thing and no it's not bannable. The killer was just mad because they lost. Btw this is not an opinion but a fact.
-
@hahmraro said:
Dbd players are the most entitled playerbase in the internet. Have you ever player any competitive online game before?
The killer didn't try to hook anyone according to @Paolomitas but instead wanted to rob everyone's time by slugging them till they bleed out. Being annoyed about that isn't "entitled" by any means whatsoever. There's a difference between slugging so you can quickly go for another near-by survivor or to stop a 90+% gen from popping and PURELY slugging with the intention of letting everyone bleed out which isn't the intended gameplay based on the fact you can't rank up that way.
-
Well... You encountered a slugging Nurse. It's certainly not fun but there's nothing bannable about it.
On the bright side one of you escaped and they slugged 3 survivors to death which means the killer probably depipped or black pipped at best so if you rank up you will probably not encounter this particular killer anytime soon - at least if they always slug everyone to death without hooking anyone.
-
If it's a stranger things chapter what will the killer be? That flower monster thing isn't and wasn't a human being so it can't be the next killer right? Is there some psychopath who exists in the stranger things universe?
-
I'm thankful they added the original 1974 Leatherface. Without Bubba I would have stopped playing killer ages ago.
-
People will mori you for this thread.
EDIT: Borrowed time used to protect both survivors but it was a one-time use perk. Therefore your suggestion of a permanent borrowed time with two protected survivors is not gonna happen.
-
Well... You combined both tape addons which is a decent way to get 20m of range range without an increased charge time. Used to do this myself every now and then back in the day when I mained Doc but ended up missing loads of "important" shocks during chases.
-
-
Having played dbd for years now I can tell you one thing for sure: There are MANY killer mains who can't actually take the "stress" of playing killer and thus get easily triggered by things that are part of the average gameplay like pallet stuns or flashlight blinds.
Best thing is to ignore them and move on to the next game. Those people that get easily triggered luckily end up quitting the game at some point (probably thanks to strong SWF teams) eventually allowing you to have normal games with killers who don't take the game too seriously.
-
There's only 1 killer in Dead By Daylight - at least for me:
-
Gamescom is the best way to reveal games and game related content due to the sheer mass of people so I reckon the devs are going to reveal the next chapter.

When Legion hits with Frenzy, it shows the aura of any survivors that don't have the deep wounds status effect, so that explains it.
It doesn't show auras otherwise the locker would be a counter. Feral Frenzy shows the beating hearts of survivors which is why Legion can also find people who're hiding in lockers.
-
Mostly killer but I play both sides. Both sides usually rank 1 except for now due to rank reset. Will probably not play a lot till the next chapter gets released because I'm bored of both sides at the moment.
As for what's fair and what isn't: I think there aren't too many things in the game that I'd consider "unfair" or "toxic" tbh and the few things I can't stand are never going to change so it's no use mentioning it.
-
What killer(s) are you going to play? A good perk loudout is relatively specific although some builds work on most killers. Bamboozle (to name a sample) is a great perk for most killers but totally useless for Nurse (unless you want to meme).
What to learn as killer:
- learn how to mindgame which is mostly based on manipulating your red glow.
- learn when to stop chasing a person. Sometimes -especially at the start of a game when every pallet is up- it's not a smart thing to go after a person who knows how to loop as the looper will never run into deadzones if it's the first survivor you chase.
Therefore force a few pallets down and find another survivor. Eventually survivors will start running to pallet locations that were wasted by other survivors before - allowing you to catch and down them quickly.
- don't get nervous because of tbaggers and flashlight clickers. All they want is to decrease your focus. If someone gets super cheeky and follows you just act like you ignored them till you find a moment that allows you to definitely get a hit.
- try to ignore people who act disgustingly nasty after the game. Just say gg and move on to the next game. If you argue with some toxic people you may end up spending more time typing messages than playing the game. Trust me on that.
-
I believe many survivors dislike Billy because he's:
1) too easy to play for what he provides (huge map pressure + legit instadown).
2) too forgiving. As Billy you can bump into every wall, lose survivors a million times and still win due to his strong mobility+instadown combination. It's safe to say even a bad Billy will win against "mid tier" survivors more often than not.
3) despite his strong map pressure+instadown basekit he also has 115% ms allowing him to cut off ways and m1 people easily making him more forgiving than he already is.
4) his chainsaw can't be juked if the killer has potato internet.
5) A god Billy will sometimes manage to instadown survivors WHILE getting looped around pallets by chainsaw flicking.
As I said that's just what I "believe" are the reasons as I personally don't struggle against any killer in particular except for good Nurses and Spirits as these two don't have any actual counterplay in my book.
-
Some of them probably do it for quick STBFL stacks

Holy hell! I'm very impressed. Wish I had your skills!
Thank you ♥️ I'm sure you will get there, too. To be fair my random teammates were pretty quick on the gens and the killer was kind of bad despite the red rank (didn't try to mindgame me at pallets, got 360'd twice, fell for the fire barrel juke, didn't destroy certain pallets like the jungle gym pallet allowing me to run back to them during the chase etc.) which made it relatively easy to run him all game.

Dude... I get what you're saying but do you EVER stop talking about how big your dick is? You're all over this website blabbing about your 4ks. Gets really old really quick.
I'll stop mentioning my 4ks as soon as the other killers on this forum stop acting like a 4k was basically impossible or too difficult. This gets old quickly as well. Survivors are no longer op, they did get heavily nerfed with the exhaustion nerf, removal of pallet vacuums, removal of certain pallets, removal of certain windows etc. and getting a 4k is now a complete joke especially against solos - period.
I had more fun as killer when I actually had to try hard to get 2-3 kills back in early 2018 but that's just me I guess.
-
I believe people who get upset about tbagging and emotes are those who start the match with an increased heart rate. They already are nervous as hell, probably sweating in real as they're afraid of losing and then all of a sudden the nervous killer sees that "overly confident" guy who acts tough by using the "get over here!" emote like Scorpion further increasing the nervous killer's heart rate.
I suppose that's why (some) killers get upset over tbagging and emotes. It makes a game that's stressful to them even more stressful.
Personally I find nothing stressful about dbd so all of this is just a theory. I don't care about tbagging and emotes as it won't stop me from playing the game in any way whatsoever.
