  • Both answers are a NO.
Mate said that Shapes Tier 1 is meant to STALK instead of chase.
But they completely ignored the scratched mirror with that statement.

Camping REALLY needs to be addressed with both an emblem and BP loss that is flashed on the screen. Do you think the campers actually read patch notes? No they don't. Flash that ######### on the screen and then make it their choice. -100 bp and -1% emblem every 3 seconds bright and visible on the screen.

And to the people claiming camping is a strat, then I guess we should remove crows over players in one spot too long right? Hiding is the same as camping. It's annoying and serves no purpose other than to be bad.

Please tell me your being sarcastic and forgot the smilie for it.

Again, very simple: You wanna talk about the fun of winning and/or losing? Don't derail the discussion that's not talking about it.

    This is the discussion.
Better watch out what questions you ask if you might not like the answer.
Weak killer that have a hard time killing someone are not "fun".
If that is "derailing" for you fine.
But how should it be fun to run around and achieve nothing, but a couple of hits..
As a killer I am enjoying chases that I can … guess what? drumroll ... WIN.

I don't say I want an easy 4k every match (I just say that, because for sure some idiot will come and claim that), but "fun" is about achieving something. Down some people, hook some people, kill some people.
Hit and run would be fine -I play like that with Doc and Hag all the time- but it has to be meaningful to do so to be "fun".

He specifically said that if you don't have fun because you can't get 4k or win, he is not interested in what you have to say.

If he didn't mention it, you would be right but I don't see any reason to discuss about it. You should understand his reason too because it is obvious that you don't have fun when you lose over and over again. Most probably he wants other reasons for why people find the legion fun or boring.

And here we go, the first one talking about a 4k.^^

I would give a well earned LOL, but the button is gone.

    Lery's
    Red Forest
    Springwood
    Meat Plant
    Yamaoka Estate
6 realms with only 1 map. 3 are licenced and unlikely to happen soon. And LERYS is the oldest.
    So pretty easy answer: Lerys!

Beside, Clown needs a map of his own.

Very easy: By changing the subject.
If people want to talk about the fun of Legion on winning/losing, this simply isn't the discussion for them.
If you want to address the elephant, make your own discussion.

Tell me again… how is losing in a competitive game "fun"?
For real, 4 toxic survivor tbagging at the gate… but you had "fun" chasing them around?
Killer playing pig-in-the-middle and ring-around-the-rosie is "fun"?
If the survivor get cocky, because they know you can't kill them is "fun"?

  • Devs have a strange concept about "taking feedback", when 10 people make the same good suggestion and 1 is making a really obvious bad one, the Devs tend to take the bad one.

  • How many meta perks is a non meta build allowed to include?

  • Or just imagine the killer could pick a perk that would actually be like DS.
Let us call it "decisive attack".
"2/3/4 survivor start the match exposed. This status is removed after they got downed once."

    How would you like that?
DS makes a 2 hit chase a 3 hit chase, this perk would make a 2 hit chase a 1 hit chase.
    Would you like that?

And stop survivors from doing actions while transitioning. That way he won't get skill checks blown up in his face or have his ruin cleansed while he just stands there.

    My suggestion was:
    1. Make the dream demon ability an interrupt, so that survivor lose their progress.
    2. Give them a 25% actionspeed debuff during dreamtransition
    3. Slightly reduce the chance to get skillchecks in the dreamworld (stacks with add ons)
    4. Additional slight reduction to get skillchecks in the dreamworld from healing (you do not hurt yourself intentionally)

Nah, because that'd be just another bandaid.
Fix totems or rework the concept of removable perks from scratch.

I only have 4 perk slots, its idiotic to waste a 2nd perk slot to protect another perk from broken mechanics and call that some kind of fix.

Mending should technically be considered a healing action honestly. Snapping out of it and waking up however are not healing actions so why should they reveal survivors auras? It may be a Doctor nerf but it’s not THAT big of a deal. Not every Doctor runs NC and if you can’t find a survivor with Doctor due them screaming the entire round then something is wrong. Main Doctor set up I see it Distressing, Unnerving Presence, Overcharge, and Ruin.

I am basically maining Doc and I switch Ruin for NC.
Because Ruin can get destroyed anyway, NC not.
NC helps me to keep pressure on the survivor, because I can switch targets when I spot someone healing while I chase someone else.
I can also spot people that try to snap out and I just have to interrupt them, not even need to actually hit them, and keep them in ´madness 3 longer.
And screams are basically just random, while NC is precise and works in both modes; treatment and punishment.
Sure any survivor could just heal/snap out outside of my TR, but a) I am moving and b) at some point people just try, because they feel they can't escape my big TR anyway and hope I am either distracted or not close enough for NC.
It is not about "not being able to find someone", but find them over and over. This is basically the opposite of the hated "tunneling". This gave me a reason to let them get away during a chase and pick the chase up again later and instead pressure the map/gens. A playstyle that every survivor tells me to do.
NC has a unique synergy with Docs base kit, so it is only logical to use that.
Madness is a psychological illness/damage to your mind and snapping out of it is healing your soul/spirit/brain. So yes, it is "healing".

just because a survivor farms another off a hook in front of a killer, it doesn't mean the killer must capitalize on the event.  unless of course, they are desperate.

    Are you serious?

You think that's how a killer should play?

Just watch the survivor make bad plays and let them get away with it?

So the survivor show no "fear"(respect?) of the killer and rescue right beside him and he should show "mercy" and let the rescued go to take on the much harder chase?

    WHY?

    Just to make survivor happy?

And in the end he will get tbagged at the gate and get an "gg ez baby killer" in the after match chat??

it's called sportsmanship but i suppose you love hooks dropping when you are about to hook someone.  they play like that, then yes i'll drop all that but acting like a desperado garners no respect from me.

Serious? "Sportsmanship", in a horror survival game that is based on slasher movies?

    Because switching targets is stupid.
Why should a killer go for the target that needs 2 hits to down, if there is one that only needs one?
Spreading out the hooks among the team is bad for the killer, since hooking once or twice doesn't mean anything.
But removing one survivor from the game is the best debuff you can achieve. Minus 25% effectiveness on the team.

Really? Wow. This makes me want to try out Territorial Imperative just to see what happens.

Territorial is a niche perk but it managed to make me paranoid since I was found by a killer running out. Being found when you think you're perfectly safe is traumatic D:

Yep, since a killer came running straight for me when I just ransacked the basement chest made me more cautious. But this happens once every 100 games.

  • I still don't get, why "Jeff" isn't just a skin for David?
Beard, scar… that is just a lazy designed survivor.

  • Maybe I buy him with shards… because, what else to do with them? :P

  • I liked the old victory cube.

Killer should get judged by their ability to kill.
Survivor should get judged by their ability to survive.

That would create real stats about killratios. and escaperates.

That would also show which killer are actually viable and can get the job done.

  • Don't forget that the tier 3 version -which actually is the most important- got nerfed.

  • @Claudette_Baguette said:
    THE LEGION CHANGES:

    • Reduced The Legion Feral Frenzy Vault distance

To give The Legion a sense of speed when they vault, we had increased the distance coming out of the vault. Unfortunately, this meant that Survivors had a larger window to juke The Legion by going back through the same vault location. We have reduced the distance to tighten the gap and allow The Legion an opportunity to counter this.

    • Removed the double stun effect when hitting Survivors affected by Deep Wound.

After hitting a Survivor affected by Deep Wound, The Legion will no longer play the weapon swipe animation. Instead, the attack will transition directly into the ‘fatigue’ state, before ending the power.

    • Legion lunge distance increased

The Legion’s lunge was slightly too short compared to other Killers. It has been adjusted to match the standard speed curve off the base attack giving it a longer range.

    DEEP WOUND STATUS CHANGES:

    • Added a mending sound to Mend action

The sound for mending was missing during the PTB. Now you will hear a Survivor mending nearby.

    • Added a progress reset to the Mend action

If a Survivor has made progress towards mending their Deep Wound status and is hit again by a Feral Frenzy attack, the progression will reset.

    • The Deep Wound bleedout timer continues to progress during the Mend action

While not in a chase, the Deep Wound timer will tick down – even while using the Mend action. As long as The Survivor continues to mend, the timer will not progress past 99% and will not go into the dying state.

    • Specific actions that are not considered ‘Healing’ actions, will no longer be affected by perks that refer to healing.

Mend, Snap out of it, and Wake up, are no longer considered healing actions, and as such, will not be affected by perks that refer to healing.

NOTE These changes will not be updated on the Player Test Build. They will, however, be available in the upcoming chapter release, Darkness Among Us. Let us know what you think!

What do you think about those changes? Source: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/33730/the-legion-changes#latest

The first 4 changes are basically FIXES.

The next are just minor or better said neglectable changes.

And the last is just hilarious, because it is just a nerf to a killer perk, that affects a mid tier killer (Doc) and 2 low tier killer (Freddy and Legion himself).
So along the "fixes" to make Legion better, they just push in a nerf to killer that don't deserve one., but keep the big buff to a survivor perk making it completely "unfun" for the killer.

But we already know, "fun" is only important for survivor.
Killer should start learning to have fun playing some tag with the important player and enjoy their role as an entertainer.

  • Typical situation, I repair the gen in the shack and someone gets chased and runs to the shack to loop it, I go downstairs and wait until they either leave or the other gets downed. So I either resume repair or hide in a locker to rescue when he gets hooked in the basement.
