I was just wondering if there is any particular reason that survivors who go into a lobby with friends spawn into the lobby at the same time. It is difficult enough for my friends and I to find matches when we play together and some killers see that 2-4 of us come in at the same time and instantly back out of the lobby making us wait more time to find a match and hopefully not have the killer quit. Is it possible for devs to change the way people spawn into the lobby that way killers can't tell who is playing with friends and who isn't?Do you prefer it when the killer DCs ingame? I believe that lobby dodging is the only reason why killers basically never DC. If you wanna have a killer DC rate as high as the survivor Dc rate, go ahead

Yes. Give me that 5k survival points.
You can be sure most of the Killers will use alt f4, so no 5k for you. And no item keeping either.
No problem. Just means they can't queue again right away, so fewer dodgers for my next match.

Sounds fine to me, as long as survivors only need one gen to power the gates.

If they don't want to go against high rank killers they shouldn't partner up with High Rank survivors. It's the killers that suffer most from this sort of bullying as they are often paired with players beyond there ability at times to deal with due to sheer experience in the game. This tweak would lessen the pain of a killer having to deal with people he shouldn't even see in game.
I don't think newbies care. They want to play with their friends. It's the dev's responsibility to make sure the experience is not absolute ######### for either side.
Killers get to face 3 survivors and 1 useless bodybag that probably don't even know what a generator or skill check looks like.
Nah. Killers shouldn't get to see Ranks lower than them either.

You dont, the killer have used a perk slot to be able to make survivors lives just a "bit less easy", do u really need the game to always HOLD YOUR HAND?
Yeah the killer should totally have one perk that can render Bond, Open Handed, Kindred, Plunderer's Instinct, Detective's Hunch, Deja Vu, Empathy, Dark Sense, Object of Obsession, and Alert entirely useless. Great and balanced idea!
First: it's a hex perk.
Second: it's job is to make your life harder by robbing you of your key information.
Third : when you have Killers whose entire power can be completely countered by crouching I think you can excuse one perk that can be removed from the game being able to counter to a couple of other perks
FYI the thread is suggesting to make it a non-hex perk that lasts the whole match upon being hit once.

In hindsight, lightborn would have been great, but I just dont really want to pour 30 levels into Billy. He doesnt suit my playstyle. And the animation blind isn't counterable. As soon as he was downed I was being blinded by 2 flashlights. If I took the bullet and didn't pick him up, he'd get healed, and if I picked him up, he'd be flash saved. I will concede the point that directional hook is frivolous and mostly pointless, but facecamping is an easy way to lose anyway. It's counterable by perks and the facing walls... With the new timing, you have to be in much closer proximity to the killer too (to get there within 2 seconds), so you can easily find them within reach after downing a survivor. Getting blinded by two flashlights is also harder than just flashlighting alone.
You were demolished by higher skilled players, and by the fact that you chose to attempt no counterplay. It's not because of SWF. A solo player would still accomplish the same thing.
You not wanting to get Lightborn to counter 4-man flashlights is as valid as survivors not wanting to get Urban Evasion to counter the Hag, Nurse, and Trapper. If you don't want to change the way you play, then you can easily default to using a perk that completely negates flashlight saves.

Hook farming should only be allowed if you can fight back or kill a teammate. It's one-sided. It's unfun being killed. Being a "solo" player doesn't mean you should be able to deliberately kill a teammate with zero repurcussion or resistance. I can choose to equip Bond and OoO to sabotage my team every game, does that mean I should be rewarded?
It's a braindead suggestion. The category is called BENEVOLENCE and ALTRUISM, yet you think you are entitled to points for not being benevolent and altruistic?
Emblems are another thing all together, if I don't care about emblems, why do I need to behave a certain way?
Do searching chests fit in any emblem category? I'm not sure if they do, but there sure is a BP award for opening one. If say chests had a chance of being totally empty. It would be like opening a chest and getting the point reward for it, but there not being anything in the chest, so they take away my searching points.
I still spent the time opening the chest and leaving myself vulnerable. I deserve the points for action made, not the item I found or didn't find in this example.
The points that I earn by doing actions in the game, risking my own neck to get closer to the Killer, those points should be awarded regardless of the outcome of the actions. That's why they are awarded when you do the action.
Chests are objectives. You get OBJECTIVE points. Items inside serve to help you escape. Even not taking the item helps your team. Chests do not grant emblem points because the emblem is called LIGHT BRINGER (powering generators and door). Chests are not empty, there is no comparison. The Bloodpoints category for unhooking is called ALTRUISM. Please look up what it means, because you are not entitled to ALTRUISM points for harming your teammates. -

If you're starting the lobby with 4 flashlights, you should be using Lightborn and/or Franklins, facing a wall, or proxying the body for lurking survivors. Flashlight saves have already been nerfed, so being demolished by them is indicative of how better the four stack was than you as players. As it is now, Lightborn makes flashlight saves almost impossible.Hooking from all directions is not necessary, and unhooking from all directions was not implemented as QoL. Bodyblocking survivors is a finite strategy, while a bodyblocking killer is infinite and uncounterable. The point of the survivors is that being and working together makes them stronger. But the only annoying things you mentioned are counterable, and isn't only the product of a strong team, but also your own poor choices.

It is a terrible idea and will never work in favor of a killer.
Getting hooked means a failure and we try to award it by giving a buff to survivors. It should not happen naturally. You can keep your kindred as a perk and use it but innate ability is too much. People don't understand but this change is much more problematic than bloodlust imo.Giving survivors more information to be on par with SWF is obviously not intended to benefit the killer. Why should it? The point is so that solos' experience isn't absolute trash compared to grouping up.
Getting hooked shouldn't spell out instant death just because you decided to queue alone. Being able to coordinate with other solos will alleviate being left for dead on the hook and discourage camping.
The pallet changes, pick up changes (flashlight and save nerf), and low-tier killer changes are what is working to benefit killers as a whole. Soon, we'll have 4 killers buffed, with Pig confirmed on reddit as well. Changes that aren't dedicated to buffing killers aren't "problematic", they serve to fix other areas of the game.

There's already only two reliable ways to get WGLF stacks: Unhooks, and hits taken while the killer is carrying someone. Distraction can't even reliably be done, even if you run in to take a hit for someone at the last second. That perk is so finicky because the game almost never wants to award Protection tokens where it should.Even then... it doesn't promote good gameplay, it promotes people taking unnecessary hits. Not exactly conducive to survival.

Wiping out Exhaustion from being hooked is clearly to assist survivors being farmed.
If you're still debuffed with Exhaustion, you're being unhooked by a person who could not wait 30 seconds for you. Usually this means that you're a solo survivor who cannot communicate when your debuff is running out, or that you're being farmed. Otherwise, it changes nothing. This is not a "buff", as much as it is a QoL change.
Considering that they've nerfed survivors across the board with the pallet vacuum, and buffed underused killers and killers across the board with pick up times, it's unsurprising that they're balancing solo and SWF gameplay. This is a positive, and quite expected turn of events (ex: Obsession shown to everyone).
@Pirscher said:

The killer's objective isn't finding the hatch. It's finding the survivor before they found the hatch. That's the point of the asymmetrical game. You are entitled to closing the hatch as much as you are to closing an exit gate or locking a generator: not at all.
Here's an easy solution:
Increase hatch spawn requirements by 1 generator.
Two chests respawn with a temporary key.
The hatch now spawns closed even with one survivor left, but makes a quiet noise.
Killer can no longer stand on the hatch.
A survivor automatically opens and enters the hatch when near it using the key.
Survivors cannot be grabbed out of the hatch.
Survivors need to work harder to get, find, and use the hatch. Killers have more time to find the survivor. Neither are able to do a standoff.
cannot be grabbed. get out of here with that and cant stand on the hatch. more survivor entitlement. so yeah we are powerless then cant grab them. yeah thats a no. the devs would never implement that then and if they did my word. the stupidity would be real. a temporary key giving another free save than doing a gen or actual objective. no
You aren't entitled to a free kill.
How about you find and kill them before they completed 3 generators, get a key, and find the hatch?
are we going to go over this again? i found the hatch first so your damn right i am if i managed to get enough evil to gain perma ew3 with only one gen left .... to kill everyone and i patrolled gens 3 times they did nothing in all of that time. just like they are not entitled to a free escape. i have my opinion. and your idea of "balance" just favours another free escape cant grab and allow their to be a key equalling another free escape. nothing more else to say because its just entitlement. now if i hadnt of gone through all that to gain enough ew3 then fair enough. so i was entitled to the kill as its hard enough as it is. survivor is easy mode. so save it. before doing 3 gens? i was trying to get the evil within achievement not murder them instantly. the hatch standoff breaks the balance when going for this what part of that dont you understand? ok ive nothing more to say your just ignoring whats said.
A killer's job isn't to find the hatch. They don't find generators and complete them. They don't run from a entity that can kill them. Stop parading the idea of finding the hatch first as if you were a survivor. This is an asymmetrical game and the point is ASYMMETRY. The killer's goal and the survivors goals are different.
Keep your opinion and we'll keep the standoff because you apparently think completing objectives is "free escapes". FYI, hatch, chests, and generators all give objective points, so survivors are literally completing objectives for that escape, so I don't know what you're getting at.
a killers job isnt to find the hatch. haha so its to let you escape or not check if your around it? ok. nothing more to say to you. your bias is so unreal its ridiculous. erm well so you want us to sit in a corner then and be like hey survivor go find your free escape by not seeing if your near by? ok. no hatch standoff needs to go and your opinion is invalid and frankly moronic. anyway. i know im right so that is that. good day
Lmao, every post you began with "well I found the hatch first" and then you act like I'm asking you not to look for survivors? That's the point, Sherlock. You should be saying: "I found the survivor so I should get that kill!". But you didnt find the survivor before they met their objectives, and get salty because they're essentially waiting at an exit gate. You're just sitting there getting all pissy because you found an inanimate survivor objective and you expect to be awarded with a kill. If you're using Tombstone to begin with, you should've managed your Evil charges to Mori and a standoff wouldn't be a problem. -

Yes wf gives and advantage as does voice but you and a few others will whine no matter what unless you get 4 sacs every game it seems.
Hey, can I borrow your DS? I used three of them already. Swap you for your Self-Care! Could use another 50% healing.
