The first one, the one you know about it fine IMO, eat it and carry on.
It's the 33% ones that waste the most time, you're not expecting and thoroughly irritate me, it needs to go.
Ok it's official. The end is near.
I'm agreeing with senzu.
It's very rare I 2 or more d-strikes but when it does happen and they get those 33% ones it wastes so much time, it's awful.
Maybe an increased wiggle progress needed for non obsession DS users would be enough? Like 10-15% more per each survivor using it? -

DS is balanced when a bad survivor uses it.
DS is unbalanced when a good survivor uses it.
There is not a single perk that is worse than DS in the entire game.
That single use is more than enough btw.Usually one only talks about balance when "somehow competent" players are playing the game because it would be absurd to balance a game around a beginner.......
Also Id like to point out that moris can only be used once too on a surivor and reduce a life

I 100% agree.
If somebody can't get kills with ebony mori, omegablink nurse, it is on them. We can't pretend like that combination is the most balanced thing in the entire game.
Game should be balanced around somewhat competent players, not the top ones but I would say above average is good enough. If a survivor is above average and uses DS, good luck to you, you will need it.
It is so difficult for some people to grasp the reality.
My personal nightmare.
How often does that happen, honestly.
In our group we just need 2BT, 2 or 3 Resilience, 4 Adrenaline, MAYBE only 1 DS, 1 Balanced Landing and 1 Empathy for flashlight saves, the other perks might vary.
That's the way to go
Edit: almost forgot, 1 small game.

What's your point? Yeah no one asked for the Doctor's "nerf" about NC, but this thread is about vaults, not about the Doctor or Freddy.@RushingSnipeBob said:@Vietfox said:

I can play solo and be as useful/effective as if i was playing with friends. Bond and kindred are the way to go when playing solo, having a brain does the job as well.@se05239 said:Maybe because they're not on coms and aren't fed live information on the killer's whereabouts and what they're currently up to?

Same here, but @NeonAlien and i have been giving the business to the few killers we faced.

I agree. Not sure if 90% of them have some kind of mental disorder or what.

^ That's the main problem of this community, they blame the game instead of themselves.MuteNewt said:it irritates me that people are blaming the devs before themselves and how they play.
I commented in another thread that DS might need to have an increased wiggle progress for non obsesion DS users. But honestly, a competent swf group NEVER runs 4 DS, they just need 1 DS user, aka "the looper" (2 as maximum) while the others genrush.
Any swf group which needs 4 DS won't be that good. -
But i run Resilience, not Leader.@ForeheadSurviors said:
Leader pretty much counters thanatophobiaVietfox said:If thanatophobia gets buffed so should Resilience. -
You're right @MuteNewtMuteNewt said:NOED is not OP and this is coming from a survivor main. Its easy to counter but survivors get greedy and stubborn with their current loadouts to change anything to counter it. Not even that, they dont even bother to cleanse totems they come across and then complain when NOED is activated.
Totems can be cleansed in under 3-5 mins uninterrupted by a single survivor with the Small Game perk. Stop complaining at the developers and adapt with the perks the have given us. The perk is not OP in the slightest. I hate the perk as much as anyone but we have the tools given to us to adapt to these situations. But nobody uses them. @Vietfox knows exactly what im talking about.
Everyone knows i'm a survivor main too and they know as well i have no issues with noed. As you said, you can get rid of all 5 totems in no time thanks to small game and still genrush. The only problem with noed is survivors who don't want to change their build or have a different playstyle to counter it. If people get killed by noed it's totally on them since there's a damn counter. -
If thanatophobia gets buffed so should Resilience.

I personally think that:Boss said:@Vietfox said:
What about the lullaby notification? I dont want survivors to know i'm running that right off the bat >:(Same.
I wonder why this is a Hex Perk in the current state of the game.
Could just raise the amount of Tokens it takes for the Skill Checks to produce no sound by a few to trade away the Hex mechanic.
1 - survivors should not recieve any notification
2 - devs should add more totem placements
Currently it's pretty easy to guess where the hexes are.
If it wasnt a hex, lullaby would be pretty broken, especially on the doctor. -

Tell me one way to effectively counter decisive without the need of perks
Umm, dribbling or let the guy in the ground and bleed out?
Yes, because you will always have a hook right next to you and letting a survivor bleed out is fun for everyone
Have you ever waited for the survivor to be close to a hook during a chase to down them? If you down them away from the hook it's on you. -
Nope
-
No, it's only for bragging purposes. The only character i prestiged was Feng because she's my main/bae. The other survivors/killers are just level 50.

It was needed, no one asked for that vault nerf we got.

Oh in that case then fine.@Aven_Fallen said:@Vietfox said:
I would rather have the current version since i don't run selfcare...If I understand this right, you will then not be affected, because it only applies when you have Self-Care as a perk. So without Self-Care you would still heal for 100%.
Yeah i think SC is fine the way it is right now. -
Genrush is done by working on different gens, not on the same one. If you see survivors working on the same gen often then run Discordance.@Acromio said:Now survivors can gen rush even harder. Fantabulous.

We will be looking at feedback on this one.
If this change goes through, no one will bother to heal others and people will even be forced to use it.
Glad we agree -
I would rather have the current version since i don't run selfcare...

Makes sense.
-
It's bad for your skills, if you dodge you'll never get good.
-
I run it on my doctor, and if it wasn't a hex it would be quite broken. Devs just need to remove the notification and add more places where the hex can spawn.@KingSavageGaming said:Honestly i don't think it should be a hex -

I would tell my friends to run DS and SC so killer can go look for those 8 survivor hexes while we get the gens done
-
Lol i thought many people got promoted as mods at first.
I'm gonna stick with my Feng Min though
-
Lol i sometimes bring a green key with no addons just to troll the killer. 😂

I personally don't have any problem with any of them. Maybe increase the wiggle progress needed for non obsession DS users per each survivor using it?@se05239 said:@Vietfox said:
Different year same topic...Some things never change.
On topic, I don't believe that DbD would become lesser of a game with the removal of both perks. Here's the catch though, both needs to go or none at all. -
"FREDDY REWORK COMING SOON?"
Hope so, bought the dlc for ps4 2 days ago and got him at level 50 already

Damn, where can i get the drinks?

I always run small game, either when playing solo or with friends.
Other underrated perks are: resilience, kindred (all solo survivors should run it). -
That might be in your experience, but not mine.@inkedsoulz said:Except when playing the Nurse, any other killer(even if the killer player is really good) will be destroyed when playing against 4 good survivors.
Might get a few hooks and 1 kill, but not more than that. -

@Broosmeister said: There needs to be something done about lobby dodgers on ps4, it happens more than 50% of the time. Also people derank on purpose to get easy games and shorter waiting times.
I also play Rocket League and when you leave a game, you get a time out from playing online for a couple of minutes. This should also be the case with derankers and lobby dodgers.
Opinions? If the game isnt balanced around high ranks/SWF, why shouldnt they do that? @Master
No matter how many times you repeat that, there are killers skilled enough to stay at rank 1 and be able to face SWF. Lobbydodgers will keep complaining because they are not facing the best teams, thus not getting better.
I started a few days ago to run exclusively the nurse on console and i'm at rank 5 for now. Has it been tough? Yes, but i haven't dodged a single time because there's no way to improve by cherrypicking survivors.
And?`Yes there are killers that are actually not skilled enough for rank 1 and still get ranked up because of the rank system. Then they get bullied by those SWF and I totally understand when they dont want to play such games. The only solution is to derank regularly because the rank system is busted and no casual mode is available.
The situation might be differnt on console but I believe that if you play one of the unviable killers, its up to the survivors how the game ends and thats simply not a desirable situation
@Master
Some killers take more skill, but there are no unviable killers.
Some people might not be skilled enough when they reach rank 1, but deranking instead of trying to stay at rank 1 and get better is not the solution. It requires patience and dedication.
I've played on both pc and console btw. Then why is nurse the only killer that can compete with a competent SWF?
And I ask you a simple question. Why should a casual player force himself into frustrating matches to "git gud"? There are no rewards for rank, ZERO. Some players just want to have fun playing DBD

You say it requires patience and dedication, maybe some players dont have enough time to play DBD like a full time streamer can do that and yet they are matched with SWF who can have up to several thousands of hours.
Nurse is definitely not the only killer who can compete against competent swf.
If people don't want to put effort and dedication then fine, but they shouldn't say it's impossible to face swf. You want to be able to beat competent survivors? Just get better, but don't ask for buffs to make mediocre killers to able to beat good survivors.
Game needs to be balanced around good players, INCLUDING KILLERS. -
