What Should I Expect?

My new PC just arrived and i'm currently setting it up. But my question is what should a console gamer expect when they switch to DBD on the pc?

  • Much better killers.
  • Salt won't be in your messages anymore, you get it through a nice chat box :)
  • Higher frame rates thats for damn sure. Nurse will be playable and god tier.

  • Congratulations on the ascension btw! You have joined the PC Master Race <3

  • Provided the chip in your PC isn't a Dorito, probably generally better performance.

Might want to check key bindings.

Not sure if you're transitioning to mouse and keyboard.

I might use the controller for survivor since that is what i'm used too for skill checks. Definitely will use mouse and keyboard for killer though.

Killer with keyboard and mouse will be a night and day difference. Should as a whole be a much better quality of life for you.

Only downside is the chance of running into hackers.
  • Just don't make the mistake to keep using controller. You will have a rough time with keyboard and mouse if you are not used to it, but with little practise it's not a big deal.

Expect insanely hard and optimal killers/survivors cuz you will meet sometimes people who played since the beta. Other than that, enjoy.
  • A console player swapping to PC should expect about an extra 20 FPS and less freezes. But more toxicity probably
