You are spreading too much toxicity in this post. Every message you write stinks of hatred and narcissism.
You started a hate thread, with false info and pretty much all in caps lock. Are you sure you're not projecting? Why don't you test the changes yourself instead of crying out loud trying to gather upvotes from unexperienced players?

Fortunately, 10-15 really LOUD unskilled players are NOT in charge of balance decisions.
Dear lord, every time I walk up here I feel like a professional Dbd player, comparing me to the rest.

Chill out, kid. The nerf was just a little tweak.
Oh, and btw, "80%" are 200+ players.

@Vancold Some adjustments to the killer side have to be made, but that shouldn't stop anybody from implementing a 2nd objective and bringing this game closer to a balanced state.
And bringing the game closer to being balanced should be one of the dev's priorities. Even if this is not e-sports, playing an unbalanced game brings a lot of frustration with itself. Also, this game has potential for e-sports. If the devs would like to go that route, it would be possible.
Sure thing. Devs should always aim to balance but I simply don't expect a weekly balance update like in most e-sports. They should do something only when ######### hits the fan.
Regarding the balance of the game itself, as I said before, it's brought down to what individuals think. Why should my opinion matter more than yours? Also, should they balance solely based on some streamer and his sheeps or some crybabies?
Nah. For example, we clearly have a different vision on balance. Our feedback must be taken into account, but neither opinion is going to matter more than the other, unless we talk about stats and testing results.

@Vancold Time is already against the killer. The survivors have one objective: do gens. There are four survivors with five generators. One survivor on a gen takes 80 seconds. So each individual survivor needs approximately 100 seconds to complete their objective. The killer's objective is to sacrifice survivors. There are four survivors. Each survivor will have to be chased, hit twice, and put on a hook. The killer may have to go through that three times for each survivor.
That is not balanced. Adding a second objective for survivors may make it closer to being balanced.
I think you're slightly misunderstanding the mechanics of this game. This game's not being played by bots vs bot, but by humans. Sacrifices to escape ratios, expecially solo survivors escape ratios should ring a bell for ya. I consider myself a pretty decent player (a hundred times better as killer, but np) and on 6 games I did yesterday, 5 games had 2 sacrifices before the second gen being done (yep, matches pretty much already decided). Oh, it was at a ######### rank too.
Nah, I don't think a worse experience as a solo survivor is the answer.
I can pretty much 4k (or sometimes 3k) every game till the reds with many different killers. Spewing this "underpowered" crap doesn't work with me.
Not attacking you, personally, there are many unskilled players around here who want the game to be balanced around their lack of skill; not my case, ever.
I definitely think there's an issue, though. Some games finish way to fast in a way (genrush) and some in the other way (1-2 kill or 5-6 hooks before first gen), but I don't take this game as an ultra-competitive e-sports and Bhvr is not treating like it either. I think there's a disconnection between what some players with a competitive background wants and what this game aims to be.
Sorry for my english but I'm doing multiple things at the same time, cheers!
-
Adding a second objective without balancing killerside is pretty biased and ridicolous. Increasing the number of times survivors get hooked or giving some sort of of new ability to break chases is a fine balance tho.
-
Talking about Behaviour here guys, amirite? That's why I have thousands of posts here in their forum and play their game all the time. Amiri.. Oh.

He's good at the moment, the only 2 things that I don't like is how hooked survivors are able to remove his stealth power (what's the point? cause I don't get it) and Object Of Obsession
Appartently the devs said it's to discourage camping the hook while having 0 TR and no downsides. Not so bad as a solution imho and it adds a little bit of strategy (choosing WHERE to hook someone matters more).

Reading posts from haters lowers my IQ every damn time ;d
I tried him a bit in the PTR. I don't have a final opinion about it.. He may be slightly overtuned or slightly undertuned, but anyway he's at best in need of really small/trivial tweaks. He's fun as hell tho, if queue times get better, I will consider buying him.
-
How about no?
-
Disappointed. I was hoping this was a thread asking for a more revealing Huntress' outfit. mlmlml
-
I'm having fun with this bait-build:
Thrill of the Hunt, HEX: Haunting Grounds, BBQ, Nurse Calling.
3 Hex Totems and none of them is useful, but you gotta protect them as if they were. Survivors go mad to destroy them, only to be baited into oneshot.
If you're not confident enough, sub NC for DH/Ruin and play the casinò.

This is just very likely to happen when you think about it, if the Devs ended up releasing a Weak Ghostface despite all the feedback from us, and only released the updated Ghostface on the 18th when he is due to release, and ended up being bad and not much changed
Not arguing if it will or it won't happen.. It just doesn't matter that much.
-
Yeah, we just don't need any more proof of how childish and ######### most gaming communities are. Internet gives the illusion of too much power to weak people, I guess.
Jeez, "negative reviews" .. xd o'rly

It's nothing in comparison to how many extra times I have to hit survivors. It's just four less hits assuming I don't haven any of them injured which isn't likely. It's also assuming that the rest of them are going to be stupidly altruistic if I can get one down in time. Like has already been mentioned in this thread it assumes that the perk isn't cleansed, and now you're assuming that they don't have MOM active. Way too much assuming and combining all of that with how little of the game you can even use it for it's not worth the wasted perk slot IMO.
All of the times that I've had my injured survivor get up and take off from dying to escape after gates over the years makes me not feel bad about myself or others getting hit by it. If people are going to cry about it at least offer up one of the survivor second chance perks you'd be willing to get rid of with it. Dead Hard gives you unlimited second chances in 40 second intervals throughout the entire game but I'm sure the ban NOED folks wouldn't want to part ways with the perk so many of them run. Every argument against it is null when you have so many survivor perks that do the same thing on the opposite end.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/516465#Comment_516465
According to your logic, against any killer with more than a braincell, DS is a wasted perk slot, because if you're good you don't need to tunnel and if someone is purposely following you for a minute after being unhooked, then gj wasting his time.
Anyway.. whatever floats your boat, bro. Not trying to convince anyone here. I just think you're wrong and biased, but that's just my opinion.

Noed requires survivors to fail in order to do anything.
Fail at doing a secondary objective and potentially losing the game because of it for a 1/60-70 chance?
Else, I don't get what you're trying to imply.
Anway, you just flipped the argument without any reason. Maybe you can't accept the fact that NOED just straight out rewards you for having a bad game?
Many killer mains (including me) despise this perk, btw: it was just the flat out perfect example to show how ranting about how perks should "ethically" work is pointless. They're just bonuses and enhancements.
-
@Tsulan KillArs get a potentially infinite 100% increased deadliness for failing at the game (NOED). Yep. You kinda should have realized it at this point. Many perks can be considered rewards for failing.
Oh you just lost a chase? Np, -insert random perks which enhances your finding skill- makes up for that fail.
-
Git gud.

I believe that is the core difference between Ghostface and Myers. One should function more for chasing and stalking in chase and the other should be rewarded for being stealthy.
Ghostface should have to be looked at by a survivor for as long as it takes for him to expose or only the person being stalked should be able to take him out of stealth. He shouldn’t be spotted by those on hook or slugged. He should also make no noises when using stealth otherwise it makes his power too easy counter.
also the time it takes for him to stalk compared to how long he gets in exposed is pretty bad. One good pallet or jungle gym could easily soak up the 20 seconds. Another reason he needs to be muted. To truly catch them off guard.
and for gods sake have him be named “the ghost.” Not “the Ghostface.” Lmao
These all are valid buffs. I heard most of them already, hearing some streamers opinions like Truetalent or whatever he's called and some others.

They would have to put some other limit on it like "can't stalk in a chase". But it would feel a lot better if it was a condition the killer could work towards meeting/preventing than something the survivors have way too much control over.
I feel like interactive killer powers are a good thing. If they actually balance it around the fact that survivors have to look at you (maybe for 4 seconds? Or maybe, they have to actually be watching you with their character model) imho it will make it funnier and more centered around being stealthy (core concept of GF) rather than just walk around/stalk/chase, without fearing to be seen.
-
I love hearing newbies and people who got no clue about this game talking about balance xd
"remove the survivors ability to stop his stalk". LMAO. Let's have a permanent exposed status on anyone at the beginning of the game ;d
-
Sorry, there are more killers than surv atm in Europe :)
It seems no one wants to play surv :)
-
I rarely post anymore, as I don't play that much anymore. But as a veteran and a killer main, all I have to say is: git gud. Seriously. You just have some issues in your skill department. You have a logistic problem in your planned trip to don't-be-a-scrubLand.
This community never changes, I guess. More fun for us, less for the devs who have to literally comb through pile of trash, to find some constructive criticism.

I think you may have a serious case of "git gud". Huntress is mad easy and one of the strongest killers.

Meh. I was hoping for a male killer.

I hope it's a combination of Legion, Freddy and Doctor. A tracker that can vault pallets and slows down gen speed to 50% for every injured survivor, oh and I hope he can go through obstacles too. Perfect killer right there lmaoFrocion. The ultimate killer. Who can slow the game down, just a lot a bit.
That's basically an homophobic slur in italian ;d
-
Nurse, Spirit, Hag, Clown, Legion, Huntress and Doctor (to a certain extent) counter looping.
The others don't and have to rely more on macro.
Keep in mind that if you're bad, noone counters looping.
-
Why do killers even use addons? Every game is basically a free win just with 2 perks.. Wth..
-
Reading how BAD killers are on this forum always boosts my confidence. Lmao.
-
Hacking reports need video proof to have an insta-ban effect.
-
You literally just have to use headphones to counter being FLed while breaking a pallet, lmao.
Whatevs.

Lol. I speak from a killer standpoint. I've never have a problem with genrush. Any rank.
-
Go perkless. Nurse is too op. Easy 4k anyway.

You probably missed the meeting when killAr mAinz were complaining about flashlig.. Oh wait, it still happens ;d

The reason why ruin is a totem is because it would be too devastating if it wasn't. New players have a harder time dealing with the ruin skillchecks and good players can just power through it. However, I do agree that Huntress' lullaby shouldn't be a totem. It has way too small of an impact for it to be a totem.
But why are we balancing around newbies?
"Why should new players even have a chance omegalul"
Oh look, the survivor main who plays killer casually is hunting in the forum again "omegalul"

Why would the devs make killers that are not powerful? Why can't they be good, AND fun?No offense and I love these devs to death, but that may have been the stupidest thing to say/do for the community.
I mean really, how can anyone say that with a straight face.
Hillbilly - Fun and powerful
Nurse - Fun and Powerful
Spirit - Very fun and Pretty strongMy opinion of the devs really took a blow when they said this. Asymmetrical games should strive to be as balanced as possible
Myers, Hag, Doctor, Trapper - Fun and balanced
Huntress - Fun and powerful
Clown - Fun and strongMeh.
