He's much better than he was before, but he is not as strong as a lot of people think he is

I think that ad on Reddit was a while ago, not recently.
The Reddit ad was like a week and a half ago
-
Sounds like a really strong distortion to an extent
-
The killers objective is not to get 12 hooks
-
Ok? You want the game to telepathically know when you "have to go, something needs your attention, rage quit", pulled the plug, power went out, bad internet?
-
Honestly when I was just starting the game (very bad), I thought old Freddy was stupidly strong, judged by the 2 games I had played against him. I quickly learned that this was not the case. At all

12 hours to lose a tier, was told me in this forum by ppl that said tested it.
I dunno. The power went out for me when playing and I got my first 5 minute timeout, then about a week later I ragequit and got my 10 minute timeout
-
Because then that might possibly be a good/alright addon, and they don't want that

How do I kick??
Whatever button you have assigned to kick

A lot of people run self care because they are afraid of being injured I think
-
He was fun to play against because 19 times out of 20 you would be walking all over him, he had nothing, no chase potential, no map control, no gen pressure, nothing. You didn't have to use your brain to play against him, it was a walk in the park and you could play as casually as you wanted
-
Doesn't blocking a player on steam, psn, xbox live, etc prevent you from joining a game with them again?
-
Killers can camp unpunished for the exact same reason a survivor can tbag at a pallet and go unpunished. They aren't exploiting, they aren't cheating, they aren't holding the game hostage, it's just a bit annoying for their opponent. And anyways, they are punished - if they camp from the get-go like you said, it is a guarantee they will de-pip, and probably only get 1 kill (if the survivors aren't stupid and do generators)
-

why not just play Billy or Huntress ?
Because they don't want to?

Thank you for sharing?
-
Really, really strange list. You put deathslinger above all the other killers that are logically and mechanically way stronger. You put myers, plague and doctor above oni and billy? Don't really know what to say other than this is extremely different to any lists I have ever seen
-
Because they are the strong ones that you can actually win with and have fun playing as. It would be the same if I was playing killer for 4 hours and went 'why are all the survivors using dead hard, sprint burst, ds, borrowed time, adrenaline, why can't they just use deja vu or slippery meat.' Why would they?
-
Wow good idea, I don't think anyone has suggested that yet

Can you name some of the bugs that come to mind? Since a lot of the past issues with The Nurse on the new maps, the bugs with her add-ons, etc have been mostly fixed.
The one's that make her unable to blink through objects/force her to baby blink, the one that will force you to go the basement despite not looking at it, the addon bugs that break her speed. If those and others were fixed that's great, because they were there for a long time
-
For me it's not because she's a bad killer (she isn't), but rather because she is the most unbelievably boring killer to play as and against, and is very difficult to rank up with (imo)
-
Not disregarding your opinion (despite me disagreeing with it), but why do you consider lithe better than dead hard and sprint burst, when lithe is considered the worst exhaustion perk by a large amount of people, many of those people having thousands of hours in the game

What game breaking bugs?
Most of the issues haven been taken care of since I last checked.
Have they? I haven't seen a single one been addressed by a dev and haven't seen any fixed in patch notes, but maybe I missed them
-
I honestly wouldn't try learning nurse right now with all her game breaking bugs
-
He has pgtw which is one of the best perks in the game, bamboozle which is a pretty decent perk, coulrophobia which is poo - don't ever use this perk. He's a bad killer, one of the worst if not the worst. Some people find him fun to play (I personally don't), I have never heard anyone say they think he is fun to play against.
-
Yes, but here I only hear it being called 'dessert pizza'. Usually has marshmallows on it as well.
-
Any of the free survivors and killers
-
You're definitely fine from devs perspective and are more than likely fine from EAC. If EAC can't detect added crosshairs and in a lot of cases blatant cheating, you're good.
-
There is an insane amount of breakable walls in the new map. You would have spirit fury ready 15 seconds after the game started.
-
Infectious fright is a no-brainer, and that paired with m&a can be very helpful when slugging to continue using his power. Oni has a surprisingly quiet terror radius so m&a also heavily helps sneak up and get your first hit (the hardest part of oni). Pop is also pretty good as he can usually get to any generator he needs to kick quickly. Corrupt is ok for his weak early game, but you might not need it if you have m&a. Bbq is pretty decent because if you have your power ready, you know exactly where to go and can get there very quickly. Sloppy is ok to hopefully keep them injured for longer, giving you more blood. Knock out is ok, but there are better.
-
No of course it isn't bannable, why would it be? Same reason standing right in front of your totem all game isn't bannable, you aren't cheating, you're not exploiting, you're not disconnecting, you just aren't playing properly or at all.
-
Hacking has been a thing since day one in the beta
-
I don't know, I would usually suspect this as bait but he only has two posts including this one, and the other is titled 'camping penalties'
-
No, if anything it hurt my skill in other games. (Unless playing huntress or deathslinger), dbd doesn't really require any pin point accuracy, and is less physical skill but more just using your brain. So when playing other games after (particularly shooters), my accuracy had worsened considerably
-
So buffing an already extremely strong perk?
-
Well there's this website https://dbd.onteh.net.au/#leaderboard
-
You talking about the efficiency/expertise proficiency indicator? The one that displays whether or not the players items consumption rate is being decreased or increased. Like a rotated square (short diamond) with a lightning bolt in it.
-
I reckon it is probably an equalish amount of people on both sides being hypocrites, but because 70% of the posts on these forums come from killer mains/biased, they're usually the only ones you see complaining
-
Restrained Malice: If this can be used multiple times, this perk is stupidly strong, like unbelievable unfair.
Shared Anguish: Could be good, but once they know you have it you won't be using it again
Predatory Instinct: So like old infectious fright with shorter range?
Illusion Of Hope: So, if you have played poorly, you automatically win, it's not like NOED where you can remove it if you do totems, you just win. Instant 4/3k pretty much
Destructive Tithes: Seems pretty bad and pointless by itself, could probably be pretty good with pop or ruin
-
I can kind of understand people wanting punishments for camping (despite it realistically being stupid, and to an extent already existing), but punishments for tunnelling really is something else. It's annoying for the opponent yeah, but it's efficient. It's the equivalent of punishing a survivor who runs a killer around for over 30 seconds straight, because it's 'unfun' for the opponent, despite being efficient.
Examples: It's end game, exit gates are open and your have one hooked survivor beside them. Want to secure one single kill? Nope, walk away or you get punished, give them a free escape. You hook someone and know for a fact there are others nearby because you saw them 3 seconds before hooking. Want to look for them? No, walk away and give them a free unhook or you'll be punished. Game is going really poorly and you quickly need to get a kill for pressure. A guy who's on second stage gets unhooked by a guy who hasn't been hooked once and is very skilled, want to quickly kill the dead hook guy to make the game actually possible to win, nope go for the guy that will guarantee you a loss or you get punished.
-
I can definitely see why cross progression would be a bit finicky, but I see absolutely no reason for there not to be optional cross play if the can get the licenses for it.
-
They respawn really fast to compensate for the 2.5 second, basically instant sabotage speed. Like you said, they are meant to be sabotaged before a killer gets to a hook. If they drop them beside the hook and wait, they are unnecessarily wasting 30 seconds of time
-
what
-
There is actually 0 reason to buy the evil dead dlc unless you like the survivor. He has 3 of the worst perks in the game.
-
According to the Oxford English dictionary, pizza is "a dish of Italian origin, consisting of a flat round base of dough baked with a topping of tomatoes and cheese, typically with added meat, fish, or vegetables." Pineapple is neither one of those things so...
-
The same as the others?
-
Might sound silly, but to counter that you can just not try hitting them. There is no reason to attempt hitting them or leaving them. If you don't leave and just watch them sit under their hooked teammate waiting for you to hit them, one on hook will end up dying and then you can down the other and it'll be their fault
-
Yes, a pre-nerf no addon nurse was relatively balanced and fair (I think anyway). It was high risk, high reward. Even a very good nurse could be beaten by very good survivors. Her addons were bs and definitely needed changing, but her base was fine and counterable.
-
This is feels unnecessarily convoluted, and by the sounds of it, really bad, if not completely and utterly pointless
