Killers are OP? Fact. BBQ and Chili op? Fact. Discordance OP? Fact.
Oh god I thought you were being sarcastic at first, now I'm sad

Yeah it wouldn't be terrible, but the devs by the looks of it only want to add 'mainstream' or very popular/known licensed figures to the game. Frank West was kind of that years ago, but really isn't now. There's about 200 people playing throughout all 5 of the dead rising games right now compared to 12.5k for the 2 left 4 dead games (the other licensed game character). Same thing goes for the Brenda account on twitter, not that many people know who that is, not that many people care.

They're not there yet

An ongoing analysis of Steam's player numbers, seeing what's been played the most.
False

I did make a full chapter on it awhile back, but long story short, I think his power will be that he can go through pallets and walls for 2-3 seconds but has a short cooldown on when he can attack.
Not to be rude, but that just sounds like weaker nurse?
-
They said they'd be adding custom themes to all the new killers and killers that get reworked (like doctor)
-
A lot more people play survivor than killer, definitely more than 1 - 4, that's why it takes longer
-
"I'm not high ranked either." There's your problem.
-
Well I mean yeah, your first TL:DR is correct, but camping definitely exists, and many killers do it solely to tilt survivors
-
Might be wrong, but is it the relatively common dedicated servers problem? The one that from the killers perspective looks like the survivor is just running in a straight line or on the spot?
-
Yeah, I never really understood where 'this game is dying' came from. BHVR also said that there was about the same amount of people on ps4 and xbox, and that switch was just a bit behind.
-
Legion, doc and wraith are probably the easiest to get bloodpoints. Who's the most fun? That is completely opinionated. I personally find billy, gf, oni and freddy fun to play as, while I know some others would despise their play styles
-
Yeah thanatophobia is a pretty meh perk in general, but no matter what it is, there is still always worse perks, eg monstrous shrine, mindbreaker

Following with camera is why 360s work. You look one way, they go the other. Sidestep them. Block with your body and they cant get behind you.
Dunno, that's what I do and I've never had any trouble with them
-
Sorry but there really isn't a ton of advice or steps, it really is just 'hit them'. Just look at them and hit, follow them with your camera.
-
Yeah it's definitely survivor sided, that's why it's statistically the most dangerous map for survivor and the has the highest kill rate for killer
-
I have no problem with him being really strong, in fact I really like that. I just wish he had more skill to him. Nurse, huntress and hag are all strong killers, but you need a lot of skill to play them efficiently. Freddy can be picked up in 30 minutes.
-
Yeah I guess, but then people would complain because you could no longer use dead hard for distance
-
I don't know. It would be really good for some reasons and really bad for others. It would be good if you wanted to put on toxic t-baggers or 5 gen face campers, but bad if you were just going to put on every player who beat you.
-
That wasn't bait

No

I fail to see what that'll accomplish.
When they ragequit enough and get banned, they'll swap over to another un-banned account to do the same thing
-
I don't know, maybe. Although I thought that they were going for the ones that don't follow the usual addon formation first?
-
Yes they are allowed, EAC might detect it, big might there, I know for a fact HudSight works at least. If you are worried about getting banned just put some tape on your monitor.
-
Ah yes, small game, the universally mocked perk for being garbage on par with unbreakable, we'll make it and inner strength
-
What?

I've been wanting a "Whiff" perk and another perk for the killer that rewards you for hitting a survivor while you're carrying someone, aside from the 300 Brutality.
So mad grit?
-
So wait why are you suggesting nerfs for trash perks?
-
I think he's very fun for the most part (unless I get him 5 games in a row), but I personally don't believe he is particularly strong
-
Could we get a mix maybe? Like an outdoor map that has a main building that's half of the map size.
-
If everyone when they loaded up on april 1st for the first time received a message saying that they have been permanently banned from the game for some reason, then the game closed itself.
-
This might work? Might. Really no too sure
-
Facecamping is camping in their face, meaning standing directly in front of them watching them
-
Well.... yeah? WGLF from a gameplay stance does nothing, while prove thyself gives you a decent buff
-
So using your tps camera to look around walls? You can do that pretty much anywhere that your normal view is obstructed. You do that when you want to see where the killer will go so you know how to immediately react. You do that pretty much anywhere in loops where it is safe to do so, meaning as long as you can see all possible entrances of the killer with enough space for reaction time, your safe. Don't do that if in doing so, the other pathway is blocked from your vision, and don't do that if the wall or corner you are looking over is too short/blocked (that if they do come around where you are looking, you are too close to them, and will be hit)

I seriously don't get why people get on here and just BLATANTLY lie about their experience. LMAO could that possibly read more like a new player?
First of all hes rank "2-3".....doesn't know his own rank. A rank 2-3 who DOESNT KNOW HOW TO LOSE Rank.....
THe killer had "Hex Ruin" and nobody could do a generator. People are supposed to take that serious? In RED RANKS!?
You're confused on how the game is supposed to work but you're a red rank survivor. K.
Reality, he's a rank 15-20 getting smashed and is annoyed that the game isn't easy as soon as he picks it up.
I assume by him saying "I'm simply confused as to how this game is supposed to work?", chances are he's probably not particularly great or experienced with the game, along with him saying he's only had the game a few months (no offence to OP). Anyone logical knows how busted ranking up as survivor is and how incredibly easy it is, and that garbage rank system appears to be in play here. So don't be surprised that they don't know how it works. He might be lying, who knows, I don't and you definitely don't.

Oh god it's comic sans now

You'd hope at purple ranks 1.5k would be pretty close to top wouldn't you
Not necessarily, I don't bring a mori only because they have a high hour count player, I usually just bring a mori the game after I get it in the bloodweb
-
If I ever use a mori, it's usually to kill off someone with the most hours. That way their assumed best player is dead right at the beginning
-
Hillbilly does have a lot of things in one ability. Has good map pressure, good chase potential. But the thing is, once you know how to loop him, on 95% of loops it is just as easy to loop him as you would a wraith or ghostface. He primary capitalises of you making mistakes or being in the open, the same with leatherface. If you don't make big mistakes, he can't take advantage over you.

You best read the blog post about the change. Otherwise you'll get mostly incomplete answers. There were three reasons listed, and the fact that it was used in 80% of high rank games was not one of them (that was given as information in the post, but was not a reason for the change). In short: punishment of new players, passive nature (potentially high reward for little effort on behalf of the killer), and the inconsistency due to the RNG nature of the perk.
Also one of the reasons listed was that they believed people were using ruin solely to secure the gatekeeper emblem
-
So either no ability, or permanent blindness?

That there is your problem. SWF is basically "legal" cheating because the devs can't stop the use of discord, and it lines their pockets with cash.
The game was not and is still not designed for you to tell each other every single thing the killer is doing and to organise gen completion and team heals.
This is very evident to the killer and the entire feel of the game changes between swf vs solo.
What does swf have anything to do with this discussion? The discussion is about asking face-campers 'what gives?', and you respond by saying swf is legal cheating?
-
Sorry, but if a killer facecamps each individual survivor to death from start to finish, and ends up with 30k bloodpoints, chances are the survivors (and in this case probably you) are either way, way, way too altruistic or are just outright bad at the game.
-
There really is no point in contributing to a post that includes "change my mind" in the body and/or title, because that means the OP is stubborn and in most cases is blinded by their own ignorance. Most cases
-
No offense, but if a Myers can get t3 with both pink addons that early into the match, the problem is the survivors, not the killer
-
Pretty rare. From memory I've only seen 2 legitimate legacies on steam, a legacy 3 Claudette and a legacy 1 Wraith
