Wraith, Huntress, Deathslinger

Too bad that your idea of how the game should be is different to what the devs think the game should be. Don't get me wrong, your idea might be cool, it's just not Dead by Daylight. It's a different game altogether. You should probably look for one that suits your tastes.
Edit because I just realized lol: I feel that the one who does not like the idea of DBD is actually you. I don't think that the idea of DBD is what you described on your post. Lore-wise? Maybe. Gameplay-wise? It's just not it.

When I started playing, I used to run Premonition because I did not understand how Spine Chill works lol.
Then I switched into Spine Chill, and I actually ran it for a long while (like... 5 months? lol) until I stopped doing so because meh. That 6% extra speed is the only thing I miss honestly.
I used to run DS a lot more, too, I haven't completely given it up because sometimes I get shamelessly tunneled three matches in a row and I'm like ######### this and equip it for a lil bit. But most matches I don't run it anymore because most killers who wanna tunnel me will keep doing so no matter the DS, and I'd rather have four perks that I can always rely on if that makes sense.
Other perks I used to run a lot were Bond and Leader. I still do sometimes, but since I'm currently trying to prestige all my survs, I don't always have all the perks I want. Although my current ideal build would be Adrenaline + Dead Hard + Prove Thyself + We'll Make It...

I don't think taking kill rates into consideration is a bad thing. The problem is when it's actually the only thing you're taking into consideration. Say, for example, the argument for keeping Object of Obsession as it is. The devs consider that OoO is fine because survivors who run it don't tend to escape trials significantly more frequently than survivors who don't. However true this may be, it does not change the fact that, as a killer, it's an absolutely overwhelming perk to play against, that some killers suffer from it more than others (mostly Trapper and Hag) because their main power is easily countered by it, that SWF can abuse this perk, etc. Saying "nay this perk is fine because these stats look normal" is completely missing the point.
Now, that does not mean that you can completely dismiss stats. They need to be taken into consideration with their context and all, but numbers do say some things sometimes. The best example of this is the Freddy kill rate, imo. The fact that he has a much higher kill rate than other killers (not just 1 or 2%, it goes all the way up to 75%) does, in fact, mean something. Denying it is as pointless as basing everything around stats and ignoring other factors that impact the game balance.

Yeah I even tried this in a KYF lobby, I ended up even completing a full gen to make sure, it will not proc on ruin for me!
Soul Guard + Hex interaction has been buggy af for a while now. Not very long ago, you could pick yourself up at all times with Soul Guard if the killer was running Hex: Retribution, no matter if it had already been cleansed or not. Tested it with a buddy in KYF and it was insane. It also costed a Deathslinger we faced an entire match, what would have been a 4K on endgame collapse actually turned into a 0K because a Cheryl randomly picked herself up (no UB, only SG, and Retribution was LONG gone) and rescued everyone. It was crazy. Idk if it has been patched -if it has, it was never mentioned in the patch notes. Should test it again I guess.
Also you guys are coming up with such great ideas that it's a bit depressing that Behavior is so slow to buff niche perks. I would love to see most of these ideas actually happen :(
-
As killer, Haddonfield, Springwood, Yamaoka, Coldwind depending on the killer I'm playing (Nurse and Legion are tough in there).
As survivor I also hate Haddonfield, Springwood, and also all indoor maps except Silent Hill. I know Haddonfield is good for survivors but I still hate it (plus I never run Balanced Landing so yeah).
Kinda unrelated but with my SWF group we usually do this fun lil thing we jokingly call Russian Roulette in which we burn four different map offerings: three maps we dislike and one we like. Most times we are sent to goddamn awful maps like indoor maps, but when we are actually sent to the one map we actually like it's awesome. It's also kinda subjective because we don't completely agree on which ones are awful maps and which one is not, so maybe I'm just happy we got sent to Silent Hill instead of Haddonfield while the rest of my friends are whining about it lmao.
-
Probably because for every killer player there are four survivor players. I do not believe the game is as survivor sided as some people do, not absolutely survivor sided at least. Because there /is/ some bias in keys, OoO and the DS+UB combo remaining untouched after all this time; however, survivors have received multiple nerfs the past year, the main ones being the nerf to toolboxes/etc and the elimination of infinites, plus some of the reworked maps are now full of dead zones that weren't there before. HOWEVER, like I mentioned, there IS bias in some surv stuff remaining unchanged while the killer stuff got nerfed (keys and OoO being the biggest example imo).
But like I said, when they nerf killers, roughly 20% of their playerbase complains. Meanwhile, when they nerf survivors, this is received as a negative thing by 80% of the playerbase (no matter how justified those nerfs were). Hence they can't go as reckless nerfing survivors as they do with killers.
This is what I believe, at least.

Future undying
Bro I'm trying to do a somewhat positive thread here, since there are a bunch of other threads already complaining (many times, rightfully so) about the Undying nerf. Can you please not make this post about Undying, too? :(

Nurse definitely. Still learning tho so it's okay I guess.

Honestly don't know, but definitely not Elodie lmao

1 you can't cancel blood fury with a stun
2 isn't something that the survivors NEED to give to you to be able to use it
OP said that they would have their abilities the entire match. Hence you wouldn't need to wait for survivors to give you your power, and it would not be cancelled on pallet stun.
There is no question that Plague's power is the stronger one here. Probably the strongest in game. There's a reason why survivors do not cleanse when facing the Plague, and why she needs to travel the whole map to pick up her power, and also why it needs to be handed over to her by the survs. There's also very little you can do to counter her power.
Yes, Oni has insane mobility with his power, but you can actually juke, you can use a couple of pallets, a good timed window vault will also save you. Against Plague? Lmao.

This is actually my favorite part of the forums, and the one I always check thr first when I come here. I wish people made more polls, because I love participating in them, seeing the stats and reading what people have to say :( I should come up with more of them myself, maybe.

I'd probably say the Huntress, but among these it's probably Michael.

Cue the outrage!
This is gonna sound pretty wild but did you know in Apex Legends the devs hired actors to voice taunts you can use whenever you want in the game?! You can even equip a taunt to play when you kill someone else!!
Did you know in Clash Royale the devs created emotes of characters crying or raging or laughing?!
Taunting is a part of almost every online multi-player game ever made. Can't handle it? Play Solitaire. Though that smug look on the Jack of Spades' face might send you right over the edge
Screaming at the Jack of Spades thingy holy ######### LMAO

Barely on season 5 of the show (just started that season today actually!!) so idk but I really like Michonne and Daryl so yeah

DS needs a nerfy rework imo. Not a nerf. Undying was nerfed because it just needed to be nerfed, although they went too damn far with the nerf in my opinion. But I like that it now has synergy with token hexes. I guess that's something.
DS needs to actually counter tunneling without survivors being able to abuse it. Something along the lines of the following: the timer remains the same, but the perk is deactivated if you interact with gens or perform other actions (healing people? getting into lockers? etc). Maybe it could also deactivate if the killer hooks someone else, I find that idea great actually.
I understand that it's frustrating that DS remains unchanged whereas Undying was nerfed (same goes for keys remaining the same while moris got nerfed), but I feel that the DS change is way trickier, the fact that the perk was changed a trillion times already speaks for itself imo. You need to make it so that it actually fulfills its purpose without survivors being able to abuse it. Simply reducing the timer is not it.
Object of Obsession and keys remaining unchanged are absolute bullshit though. Keys should simply let only the key-holder escape through hatch, and OoO needs to be changed into something else entirely. These two things are much easier to fix imo, the devs have no excuse.
-
I wouldn't be opposed to this change, but I doubt that would be enough to put the Legion into a decent state.
-
Bro I love going against Nurse & Billy and they are pretty solid killers (I loved going against Billy even before his stupid nerf so don't bring the goddamn nerf up pls and thank you). And I hate going against Clown so yeah.
It's not only about the killers being "good". Nurse and Billy (and Blight) are tough killers to learn but they highly reward your skill as a player. And they have solid counterplay. Spirit and Freddy have little to no counterplay and are literally braindead to play. I will not be discussing this because it's a fact, it has been proven multiple times and anyone who denies it is deluded. As for Hag, I just find the crouchfest kinda annoying tbh. But I don't find her as annoying as the two mentioned above, because she actually requires some brains from whoever is playing as her.
-
I see far less Jeffs and Tapps than Quentins. Or maybe it's a server thing, idk. His face looks horrible though. I think the devs mentioned during a stream that they will be reworking his looks a bit when the character models rework happens, not to look like his actor bc from what I gathered they don't have the rights to use his face, but maybe so he looks... better, lmao. If I'm wrong then correct me but I think they actually said this a couple of Q&A ago.
-
I agree with some people here that Mr X would be a better choice, and I think the devs would actually manage to come up with some unique power for him that fits DBD but also fits the character and his own franchise.
Take the example of Pyramid Head, he does not have any of the powers he has in DBD in the original Silent Hill games, and yet the cages & trails stuff fit the character and are very spot on when it comes to recreating the... vibe, he had, in SH2. Despite having a bunch of powers that the og PH as far as I remember did not have.
Now I'm no RE expert (haven't gone through all the video games and stuff yet), but I believe the DBD devs + the RE devs (who, I imagine, would be consulted about the killer's possible powers in case a RE killer happened, I think they consult the original owners of stuff to make sure the power fits their character) would be able to come up with something. If anything, I'm more worried about the possibility of a RE chapter ever happening, given that RE Resistance is a thing.

1 DCer every 3-4 games is not "worse than it has been for a while"
The numbers show that DCing is down by a lot.
Yeah, cool. I wonder what the numbers look like for suiciding on first hook, though.
Not against DC penalty btw. I just find it kinda funny that people think it has actually fixed anything, lol.
-
######### corn, I love Silent Hill
-
Usually 3k, but if the survivors were extremely good at looping & etc I will happily take the 2k.
-
I always try to do at least one totem before I touch any gens.
-
Oh boy I hate these auras so ######### much. I agree.
-
Ok but consider this: Myers gets to drive the car... while shirtless.
-
I have seen a cool Dead Man's Switch build involving that perk + Nemesis + Oppression + Lullaby. It's niche af but the point of it is that you're always chasing the obsession (because of Nemesis), then when you hook them you immediately kick a gen so that Oppression will activate and give any gen that's being repaired a difficult skill check, and hopefully with the Lullaby stacks survivors will mess up and the gen will be blocked by Dead Man's Switch.
It's far from being meta, but very fun when it works, lmao.
-
I feel that Soul Guard and For The People deserve a bit more recognition, hence I would move both Cheryl and Zarina one tier up. Cheryl also has Repressed Alliance, which is kinda useful to counter gen regression, and Zarina has Red Herring, which is niche but can make the killer waste a ton of precious time checking a gen that no one is at, so I feel these girls can do with going up one tier.
Jeff on C is... questionable to say the least, I enjoy running Distortion from time to time because of the amount of info it gives you, but that's pretty much it.
And Tapp deserves more love, because Tenacity can be GREAT if the killer is trying to slug (which happens somewhat often), and Detective's Hunch gives you a ton of info that is very much appreciated in the current R+UD meta. Stake Out is honestly not very good if you're good at hitting great skill checks, but I feel it /is/ kinda underrated because it can help you to genrush even faster, lmao. Specially if the killer is getting looped close-ish to where you are repairing.
I do appreciate that you put Dwight in tier A, though. My underrated boy deserves more love, and so do his perks.

You're the kind of survivor who I definitely think should have a voice about the matter because you aren't being lazy. You're trying. I agree with what you have to say about the amount of RNG when it comes to totems. If you get stuck on an inside map, I do believe unless you're bringing Detective's Hunch you're probably going to miss 1 or 2 or maybe all totems. When playing killer I think it's more impressive if they're all broken (which I only notices as Nurse or Plague who I bring NOED on) on the inside maps. I think many of the maps need reworked totem spots. The inside maps/Swamp maps need easier spots because many of the spots are really difficult to spawn (except for a few that maybe need a little buff like the ones by the doors on The Game). I do not expect if I'm in a lobby of all solo q survivors for them all to broken. Also, I feel like if you're facing a rank 1 Spirit like in your example, it's also fair to say they aren't bringing NOED so it would be more worth your time to be doing the generators than totems like in your example. If you're facing a Wraith with no good add-ons or just no add-ons, maybe spare a minute or 2 to go totem hunting isn't a bad idea because it could be a real possibility of NOED.
As far as Ruin + Undying, I feel like the problem is more Undying. If you get stuck on a map with good rng for totems, that combo can be much harder to face than others. You also have a point that unless you're in a comms/swf group you probably can't depend on someone to go to that totem unless someone else stumbles upon it or you were running/walking/crouching with someone when you stumbled upon it. I feel like Undying is probably hard to balance to make the combo weaker because of all the rng involved and the other factors (such as amount of totems broken). Totem spots on all maps need to be reworked honestly. That's correct.
The fact that most maps are really easy to find totems on and then like 6 of them you can maybe find 1 to save your life is kind of hard to deal with. Especially when faced with NOED or Ruin + Undying. I almost feel like before messing with anymore hex perks they need to take a look at totem spawn points first.
I agree with all you've said.
The thing about the rank 1 Spirit player is completely true. Many trials, as a survivor, you can kind of predict if the killer will have NOED or not. For example, if the killer is playing extremely well, with my friends we assume that this guy is not running NOED and decide to focus on gens because 1. sometimes killers are just SO good that you know your only chance of escaping lies at genrushing them 2. the situation has already gotten so bad that you just know that you're, most likely, not reaching the end game, so what even is the point of touching the bones lol. You can also sometimes track the killer perks, and if you manage to identify four different perks, you already know that the killer is not running NOED. This must of course be done with care, because some killer perks are tough to track sometimes (many times have I claimed "this guy definitely has Nurse's/BBQ/etc" when in fact they didn't, lmao), but sometimes you can just know like with idk R+UD+Sloppy+Tinkerer for example.
Then many times we face a struggling Wraith, Trapper, Clown or Myers (the killers that run NOED the most, from my experience) and we just know there's a huge chance that they are running NOED. Specially if they don't seem to care too much about gens being done, or if it feels like they have no perks at all. But also if they are just bad at chases and need a little help from that perk.
And yes, definitely, in my killer matches, totems are rarely getting done. When R+UD is up, survs definitely try and go for totems, but when there's no hex perk up, they rarely do. I don't really run NOED on any killers but Deathslinger because I'm learning to play as him and need that extra help, and also because I feel that he's the killer that can take the most advantage from this perk. Yesterday I was doing this archive about hooking people during the endgame collapse, so I picked Deathslinger and the times we actually reached the endgame collapse, NOED always lit up. And most of my matches happened in weak totem maps like Coldwind, Crotus Prenn and MacMillan if I recall correctly?? But totems were just still standing there. I wish more people actually did the bones honestly. I try to encourage every person I meet in the game to do so, but then again there's just so much that one maniac totem cleanser can do, lol.
-
Totem spawns are a huge problem. Let me explain myself, as someone who mostly mains survivors and is ALWAYS doing as many totems as possible.
Around 6/7 months ago, I got so tired of NOED that I decided I would be doing all totems by my own if that was necessary. I usually play SWF so many times I can count on my friends to do some bones, but when I play solo Q I mostly have to rely on myself only. So, back then, I started learning totem spawns. Every totem spawn in every map. I carries Detective's Hunch around, sometimes also a map, solely for this purpose. I watched some videos about totem spawns in specific realms to memorize them. Overall, it's a huge task and I am still learning (yes, even after all these months) but I have generally grasped where most totems spawn in each map.
Having all this knowledge, I can say quite a few things about totem spawns. Because some of them are so good, and some of them so bad, that it's ######### crazy. I believe that the pinnacle of totem spawn balance lies on Grave of Glenvale. Totems do not spawn out in the open, but you will be able to find them as long as you're looking for them and you're not in too much of a hurry (say, there's a teammate on the hook and NOED is up). There's very few "bad" totem spawns in this map, say the one in the windmill, the one in shack and the one in the main building (which can be tricky because there actually a lot of totem spawn spots in that saloon, lol).
There's two particular maps that have insane totem spawns, at least in my opinion. Part of this is due to the fact that I easily get lost in those maps, and I probably end up checking the same places multiple times without realizing. These are Hawkins and Lery's. Very few weak totem spawns (gates for both maps, Demogorgon thingy and upper floor for Hawkins are the only ones I can think of rn), and many strong ones that are hard to spot per se, and even more if you take into account that everything looks similar in that map and it's hard to pinpoint which places you have already checked and which ones you have not.
The following strongest maps (not as strong as Hawkins and Lery's, imo, but still strong) are Silent Hill and The Game. Again, maps in which it's easy to get lost as a survivor, but that have many spots in which it's easy to see the totem without even looking for it, and also some memorable spots like the bathroom ones in both maps, the door ones in The Game, the 3rd floor one in Silent Hill to give some examples. Some other totem spawns in these maps are really well hidden though. And Silent Hill has an extra problem, which is that it requires you to check every area twice, because you need to check inside the classrooms and on the hallways, and in order to do this you usually need to go back lol.
Every other map in the game, except for perhaps the Swamp (a map that makes many non-totem-connoisseurs (?) struggle because of the edge of the map spawns and stuff) has very weak totem spawns. Coldwind, MacMillan, Azarov and Crotus Prenn are great examples of these. Easy to randomly see, a lot of memorable spots, so many identical tiles that have the same exact totem spawn, etc. I rarely struggle to find any totems in these maps.
Why am I saying all of this? Because maps and killers can drastically change how big of a task it is to actually find and do totems without throwing the whole game away. It's not the same finding all five totems in Lery's than in Shelter Woods. It's not the same to find all five totems against a addon-less Wraith than against a rank 1 Spirit with good addons. The game is about economy of time. You need to do your objective faster than your enemy can do theirs. Rank 1 Spirit players, from my experience, are extremely good at their objective. Add-onless Wraith players, usually not so much. Please don't "but oh my god survivors are so OP they can loop even a good Spirit player" because my point here is that some killers have it easier to do their objective fast than others. Not that you cannot win against the Spirit, lol.
All of this being said, I feel there are three totem perks that are the hot topic in these forums. The first one is NOED. I don't think NOED is OP as ######### as some others believe, but I believe it's a little bullshit. Because having to do five whole ass totems to MAYBE counter a perk the killer might not even have, feels a little bullshit to me. Don't get me wrong: most times, I will try to do those totems. I stopped being one of those "lazy" survivors you talked about who refuse to do more than one bone long ago. But you must take into consideration that doing five bones (yes! only five) can be A LOT sometimes. In maps where totem spawns are hellish, like Lery's, it can be VERY tough to find them all and at the same time be doing gens. You usually have to sacrifice a LOT of time to do this. And like I said, this game is about time management. The faster you do your thing, the better chances you have of winning. Now if you're on SWF it /is/ easier to find all totems and get rid of them. But this game isn't only SWF. Solo Q survivors exist and, well, like you said, survivors /are/ lazy many times. And I can't torture randoms on comms with my constant "do bones or I swear to ######### god" the way I do with my SWF team.
Then on other maps (Coldwind and MacMillan being the best examples, imo) doing all five totems is easy and you can actually manage to get rid of them ridiculously fast. I remember one particular game in Coldwind where I got rid of all totems within like 3 minutes of the game being started, lol. This is generally not the rule, of course, but my point is that overall (depending on the killer you're paired up against, of course) you can usually afford to do all bones in these maps if you're trying really hard to avoid NOED.
Now, the other two hex perks that people have been talking about a lot are, of course, the Ruin + Undying combo. Now there's a lot to say about this combo, because it can be somewhat useful to OP as ######### depending on many things. First: the aura reading grants some killers enough time to actually get to the totem and shoo the survivor away before they can cleanse it, for example Spirit, Freddy, Billy, Blight and Nurse can easily play off a play like this. You will think "well, but then survivors can distract these killers so that, meanwhile, their teammate can do the bones!!" and while this is entirely true, this requires survivors to be in some sort of comms most times. SWF is what I mean. That's the second factor when it comes to R+UD in my opinion: survs on comms can easily communicate to each other when it's entirely safe to do the bones. They can also entirely counter this combo by communicating and finding not only one but BOTH totems before cleansing any of them, then cleansing both simultaneously. Then, the killer won't be able to be in both places at the same time, and you'll make sure that you get rid of UD so you'll have to do only one extra totem max aside of those two. Easy, right? As long as you're on comms. And as long as, again, you're not in one of those hellish maps where totem spawns are so good that you usually spend too much time looking for totems, and when you finally find them it doesn't really matter anymore. That's the obvious third factor: maps. R+UD is a complicated combo to analyze in my opinion because it relies too much on RNG + these three factors I've mentioned above. It can be literally useless against good, communicated SWF with totem spawn knowledge. It's deadly if survivors can't manage to find the totems, despite actively looking for them (not being lazy!). It's also very RNG reliant because of the random map thingy, the particular totem spawns it will spawn in, and the particular place in the map that survivors will spawn at (because survivors often spawn next to lit totems, and that should definitely not be happening for ######### sake).
Why did I write this long ass comment that probably no one will read? Well, first because I love totems and any chance to talk about them I WILL take, lol. Secondly, because I wanted to bring actual insight into the matter, analyze it from all possible perspectives that I can think of, because I feel that very often the analysis that people make when it comes to this particular aspect of the game is superficial to say the least. And third, to bring my totem-cleanser, mostly-survivor-main perspective onto the table, because I feel that as someone who can definitely NOT be considered lazy when it comes to totems, I have a lot to say lol.
There is really no conclusion to this post. I just wanted to explain why both sides mainstream opinions are partly right and partly wrong when it comes to totems and hex perks. If you have read this whole bible, I hope you have some amazing DBD matches tonight and thank you for keeping up with me until now. Lol.
-
For killer, I feel Bubba and Plague are where it's at. Clown has also two very solid perks. And Hag's are awesome too as long as you're in a map with decent totem spawns.
For survivors, I will bring a much underrated survivor onto the table and say Dwight. I know Laurie, Bill and Meg's are more reliable and meta, but Dwight's perks... idk I just love them and I love him so yeah. Not as sweaty and life-saving as the perks of the three above but still pretty amazing imo!

Ppl actually take it as "killer camping"??? Where I play it means "hey pls unhook me now". Usually it's something along the lines of "hey no one is coming, can one of you pls stop doing gens and come to unhook me pls". If someone starts moving in the hook's direction, I stop waving to signal that someone's coming. At least that's how I think it works in Brazilian servers??? Bc I've seen lots of other ppl do the same thing.
-
Can't wait for the Wraith buffs. Also want Demo buffs and Legion rework. The first two are actually happening soon, according to the devs.
-
I would have voted face camped but at least that gives me no hope and I'm just chillin in the hook. When you get tunneled you actually have a little hope that you might survive and make an actual effort to try to get away from the killer.
Not being unhooked despite the killer not camping is a close second though. Just yesterday this happened to me, the killer was nowhere to be seen during most of the hook timer and my fellow survs just didn't care enough about me to come for the rescue. Lol.
-
Coal Tower among these, but The Game is a close second imo
-
Steve and Dwight
-
Either Ace or Ash.
-
My only question is why tf did the patch notes not mention anything about this??? Or did I accidentally skip it when I read them??? Because I don't mind them implementing changes in the game but I would rather be informed by the patch notes instead of discovering it myself in the middle of a match.
-
Nurse and Grave of Glenvale are the pinnacle of balance.
-
There are a lot of variables that can affect the result of a match, not only just skill. Perks, tiles spawn, the map itself. Then these are humans playing who can make mistakes regardless their skill. And there's also bugs & glitches, too ---hitboxes, etc.
So yeah, matches between people of a similar skill level can and SHOULD go a different way every time.
-
I think I have pulled this off on Steve so maybe it does work in some dude survs???
-
Play Wraith and ding ding ding with the add-on thingy that makes the ding ding ding map-wide.
If survivors STILL don't get it (or if I'm playing as someone else) I will down someone and pick them up & release them until they break free. Then nod at them or something.
Alternatively, if given the chance, I will hit a generator with my weapon and nod at the survivor (if given the chance = the survivor has not sprint bursted their ass away and is still close enough to see me do it).
If they STILL don't get it I'm going feral and killing everyone. Usually works fine, because most survivors that don't get this kind of signals don't have a lot of time in the game.

Your response is a perfect example of Survivor entitlement; If you knew how to play Survivor well, you would know map layout, how to loop, and to always be on gens. You would know how to perform safe saves (which Borrowed Time is a crutch perk when Survivors don't know how to perform safe saves).
A good survivor wouldn't get hit once. Especially against a Killer that doesn't have a power. A survivor doesn't fall asleep on their own for 60 seconds. A generator only takes 44 Seconds to be completed. That's an extra 16 seconds. You're telling me you can't wake up in 16 seconds and then run the Killer for a full Generator. A Killer needs 12 hooks to kill everyone. You have 5 generators to get everyone to escape (Mathmatically that's 1 hook per gen, equals 5 hooks). You're telling me you can't do that against a Killer with no power, and base movement speed? Why are you getting hit by a Killer with no power and base movement speed in the first place? Do you not know your map layouts? Do you not know how to loop properly? OR IS THE GAME TOO EASY FOR YOU TO LEARN. (Fake Pallets are literally useless, even against average survivors. The fact you mentioned them just tells me you don't know enough of the game to even be commenting. Have you never learned Pallet spawns? Do you not track pallets? You realize there is only 8-12 on any given map right? You know that they are distanced at least 3 chunks apart. Wait are you saying you don't even know what a chunk is in Dead by Daylight? God damnit, do Survivors learn nothing now adays?)
Dream Snares take 3 seconds to place, and comes with sound, and visual notification. You're telling me you can't move to another loop, or create distance in 3 seconds? Are you also telling me you can't loop towards your clock, and mindgame the extra time needed to use that clock mid chase? IS THE GAME TOO EASY FOR ?YOU TO LEARN.

It litterally says right here on his card "For each survivor in the dream world, the cooldown of Dream Projection is reduced by 15%"
XD
Literally everyone in this thread has proved you wrong, even killer mains, and you're still repeating the same entitled survivors nonsense. Cry me a river, pal. Freddy is getting nerfed no matter how much you whine.

75% killrate is just too much man. I know that these stats are to be taken with a grain of salt and that they aren't... linear. That there are a lot of things to be taken into consideration. But you can't just ignore the numbers.
It's not like what happens with Pig, who has high killrates because she has her own cult of Pig mains who slaughter you on sight because they have mastered her power to no end. Or like what happens with Nurse, that has the lowest killrate despite being the strongest killer in the game when in the right hands, precisely because she is hard to play and buggy as hell so most players who pick her up struggle for a long time.
There is literally no reason for Freddy having a 75% killrate. Not even Spirit, another strong, easier to play than Nurse killer, has that high of a killrate! It's not like there are 10 Freddy mains in the world who keep his killrate high because no one else plays as him. Around 25% of my trials, I am matched against Freddy. It's by far the most popular killer in Brazilian servers, along with Spirit. Some nights almost half my survivor matches involve Freddy. There are people playing as him. 75% is just too much in a game that is (allegedly) balanced at 50%. There's no way around that number, unreliable as the stats may be sometimes.

Deleting anything from a game is rarely the right call.
It should be nerfed though. Probably reworked.

I hate Lery's so much. All indoor maps are actually a headache, with Silent Hill probably being the least annoying one (this is my personal opinion and I know it's quite an unpopular one).
Springwood is also annoying as hell. Both as killer and survivor. I just can't get to like that map. Same goes for Haddonfield.
In Swamp I can't see ######### lol both as survivor and killer.

I play both sides but more survivor than killer.
I feel that a lot of work needs to be done to "fix" Plague's current status. This feels more like a nerf than like an actual rework. I don't think she needs to be nerfed, rather than... fixed lol.
From the killer's perspective, her power should be made more consistent so that she doesn't depend as much on whatever survivors do to be able to use it. From a survivor's point of view, her gameplay should be changed so that facing her isn't pretty much a "make your choice" situation in which you must either choose staying vulnerable the entire trial or giving her one of the strongest abilities in the game.

I would like if he had more concepts in his kit that relate to his lore, an example would be to actually have them hunt as a group like teased. Or maybe to disguise themselves as survivors like how they do in their trailer.
This.
Idk how they could make it work, but this.
