  • OhTofu has an awesome video about the Nurse. It's mostly a basic tutorial on how to play the Nurse, but it also has some tips on how to face her as a survivor. And overall, I feel that understanding how a killer works and how it's supposed to be played helps you a lot when you're on the survivors' end, too.

  • You make good points but I'd like to remind you that while all of this is happening there is someone who is just staring at their screen waiting for the time to pass because they're being facecamped on hook. When I play with friends and the killer is camping me I encourage them to just leave me there and genrush so we don't give the camper what they want. But this completely takes the fun away from the game.

Overall I agree with you, but I think most people complain because the game stops being fun when this happens. Surely, it stops being fun for the killer too, but they don't cancel each other out.

  • Estos son los foros en inglés, probablemente deberias postearlo en la sección en español del foro.

As the one that always does the bones, yet is almost always the one to get hit with NoED, I completely disagree with this statement.

If I get a map where they aren't as hard to spot as my Claudette, then I'll easily get 3 bones before I have to get some generator work done for Lightbringer to maintain my rank at least.

I did EXACTLY what killers say and I still get punished. My experience is the very thing that disproves the "Do bones" excuse.

I agree with this so much oh my god. My friends sometimes tease me because I'm always doing a bunch of totems, yet way too many times we're still stuck with NOED. Some totem locations are really good and it can take VERY long to find them. To be honest I have learning totem locations by heart as a personal objective for this year so I stop having to deal with this, but it shouldn't be like that :/

  • Legion is fine as it is. A small buff wouldn't make them OP, but I think they're perfectly viable as they are right now.

Running and playing against meta builds is boring af. Both as survivor and as killer. Survivors keep running the same meta perks and killers keep running the build that works the best with whichever killer they're playing and it gets so monotonous tbh.

I'd say they're both on a level playing field if we just remove the possibility of finding keys from a chest. An instant victory due to RNG is not reasonable, unless killers are also given a random chance to find moris around the arena.

The chance of finding a key in a chest is low af though. Like, unless you're running Plunderer's Instinct, but then again you occupied a perk slot solely to increase the chance of finding a key, and it's not even guaranteed. I feel a little RNG is fine tbh, if they got lucky enough to find a key then go for it. It's not the only RNG element in the game anyway.

  • At least three gens need to be done for more than one survivor to be able to escape with a key, and that only if two survivors have already been sacrificed, otherwise more gens need to be done. And as a killer you can always focus the guy who has the key, or even better run Franklin's Demise because the other survivors will have it way more difficult to find the key on the floor.

As for Mori, it is annoying to get tunneled and killed within the first two minutes of a game, yes. But in the end, both Mori and Keys are very rare items/offerings that you run out of at some point. Idk I understand where your frustration is coming from because I have faced it too but I don't feel it's the main issue the game has right now, I wouldn't even go to the length of calling it an issue because most matches there are no mori nor key.

  • Silent Hill because it's my favorite horror franchise on Earth. But I love Stranger Things, it's my second favorite chapter, lol.

  • Casting Myers, Ghostface and Pig jumpscares aside for a bit... when I first started playing I found Huntress the scariest. Her humming is so disturbing and feels so out of place in a realm where people being brutally murdered is the main thing going on. Her backstory being so sad doesn't help either because once you learn why she's humming like that it becomes even scarier somehow...

Idk how to explain it, she just creates this very specific melancholic, hopeless atmosphere that other killers don't.

  • Nicely placed traps make him really strong imo. But if survivors pay attention and communicate with each other, he loses a lot of power.

If he 3-gens you, however, you're pretty much dead because he won't be lured far away from those gens, and you won't even be able to loop him close to those gens because the area will be FULL of traps... happened to me today :'D

  • Anything that brings more people into the game & makes the people's game experience better is welcome :D including more languages is always a good thing since some people only speak their native language.

  • I was that Baby Dwight that got into the struggle phase in their first hook.

  • To me it feels like a reward for failing at your tasks as a killer.

  • The one I hate going against the most is by far Deathslinger. Freddy and Doctor are very annoying too.

I've never even played as Nurse because she seems very difficult to play so yeah.

  • Maybe some tiny buff but I am also a Legion main and I don't find him underpowered at all.

He's the best at tracking survivors and can apply a LOT of pressure if played correctly. It's true his power doesn't "down" survivors but that's not the purpose of his power, it's purpose is 1. tracking survivors 2. keeping them injured so that you can down them easily later or so that they have to be constantly healing, thus wasting a lot of time. Legion with Sloppy Butcher or Thanatophobia can be a huge pain in the ass since these perks make a great combination with his power.

So yeah maybe some minor buff??? But overall I think he's fine as he is.

Not recognizing Calm Spirit as a counter to Doc’s tracking is a mistake on the survivor’s part.

Of course Calm Spirit counters doctor lol. Who even denied that buddy? I just mentioned it because people will say the original poster's perk would be useful only in specific situations but then tell you to run Calm Spirit to counter one (1) killer that you might not even be facing. Because honestly Calm Spirit is only good against Doctor, Infectious Fright (much more easily countered by staying far away from whoever the killer is chasing) and maaaaaybe Spies from the Shadows but who even runs that perk.

  • Splitting queues is not a good idea but I must admit I would love to have "arcade" game modes just for the funsies.

  • You can always use Spine Chill instead??? I find it very useful against no-TR killers. As for your idea, it would be an useful perk only in very specific situations but then again people go around telling you to run Calm Spirit solely to counter the Doctor so...

  • What do you mean I have to choose only one Legion?!?! Then I choose Ghost Face.

  • They made an awesome job with his chase theme so I'm fine with it as it is. But as a SH fan this would be NEAT, they should make it loud enough so it doesn't come unnoticed but it would be awesome if properly done!!!

  • Idk why Legion is even here. He's not the strongest, sure, but he's still pretty good imo??? And he's a lot of fun to play as. Idk maybe I'm missing something but he doesn't feel as weak as everyone claims he is.

  • Have you watched the Halloween movies???? I'd rather have Myers on my side oh my god.

  • Silent Hill is my absolute favorite horror franchise and I had been dreaming of Pyramid Head coming into the game since I started playing. I thought it would never happen since 1. Konami 2. being a video game character and all. I am actually glad they went for the video-game characters instead of the movie ones. I absolutely love how they designed the killer, that we got Heather/Cheryl, and also that they chose the school for the map! It feels like a poem to the first three games, and for that I am thankful. Even if SH lore-wise it doesn't make much sense, this is DbD, not Silent Hill, so I am perfectly fine with the choices that were made.

  • I chose Resident Evil because Tyrant as a killer would be crazy. But Eddie Gluskin as a killer would be so cool too.

  • I honestly hate it, I only t-bag if the killer was camping/tunneling or if I'm the last survivor or sth like that. If the killer didn't get to kill anyone nor camped nor anything I just leave.

  • You can't really hide from him because he makes you scream, he disables your ability to vault/throw pallets, makes you recover your sanity every now and then, gives you those reverse skill checks and also those that show up in random spots on the screen. He's a bit too much in my opinion, with the right perks he's deadly no matter the skill of whoever is playing as him. People compare him to characters that are deadly in the right hands like Nurse but the problem here is that it doesn't even matter in whose hands he is.

  • Demoboy. Jack of all trades, master of none.

  • Key I don't really mind at all like you managed to do your gens, found the hatch, you go pal you made it.

Mori is ok to me too. Tbh the only reason I find mori more annoying than keys are the tunneling killers. But I would say they're ok too.

  • Deathslinger oh my god I hate him so much. He needs some changes imo, either regarding movement speed, the terror radius or the terror radius song which is so quiet I can barely hear it sometimes. Also deathslinger + monitor and abuse is as sneaky as any stealthy killer in the game and that's just... not right, given he's a range killer. Huntress has that song she hums at least, this guy just shoots you outta nowhere. This is my opinion though and I can be wrong.

Freddy is a close second though. And Doctor comes third since the rework.

  • I cannot express with words how much I love the Grave of Glenvale both as survivor and killer. The only thing to come from the Deathslinger chapter that I actually liked.

  • Legion is really fun to play, and nice to farm BP!! Lorewise I find the Plague and Huntress the most interesting.
