I hate it but it's fair lol. Strong, but balanced. As all things should be (?)

There was a difference?
Yep, the PTB theme was a bit different but way cooler! https://youtu.be/xwz9g8U8buw
-
The dbd model is awful lol
-
Currently the Demogorgon, I would vote for Pyramid Head if only his chase music hadn't been changed from its PTR version though.
-
Among these I would nerf the Spirit first, but I'd rather the Wraith was buffed first lol
-
My answer would actually be "Nurse is strong" tbh. She's not OP, she's just really strong in the right hands. I feel she is completely fine as she is.
-
I've gotten a BUNCH of leavers the past couple of days. Some were definitely intended like a Huntress that DCd the very moment we were sent to Lery's. Others were clearly not, like a Doc DCing even though he was slaughtering all of us, and a couple of friends who got randomly kicked out of the match (and penalized for it, of course, lmao).
-
Being moried off the first hook is my new hobby apparently.
This poll really needs an "all of the above" option though. The only one that hasn't happened to me is the "I got multiple kills and depipped", I have 4Kd and not pipped nor depipped, but I've never depipped after getting multiple kills.
-
I like having all perks on all characters but I sometimes just wanna get specific perks quickly before playing around with other perks so yeah
-
Every Ace I have met has farmed me and my teammates off the hook every single time so either the mobile experience is extremely different to the PC one or this tier list is bullshit lol. Nothing against y'all actually decent Ace mains btw.
-
I will sell my soul to the devil for Eileen.
-
I don't really know anything about SCP and I'd rather we got other stuff first, but if the devs ever want to bring it into the game I'll be ok with that. I'll basically support any horror franchise being introduced into the game as long as there are people who want it here! No matter how uninteresting it may seem to me, a franchise being brought into DBD can mean the world to its fans the same way that the Silent Hill chapter meant the world to me... If that makes sense?
-
PC only, I own a Switch but the game + DLCs were way cheaper in Steam and I don't see the point of buying the same game for the Switch given that 1. it's more expensive 2. it's clunkier (since optimization and etc) 3. there's no cross progression.
I did try the mobile version though, but damn are the controls awkward. I don't feel this game is suitable for mobile, or at least not in a way I can enjoy lol.
-
He's strong but fun to play against.
-
I love them!! The animation when survivors are connecting those little wires is amazing, I love it!
-
I am the queen of totems lol. I have most totem spawn locations memorized and won't stop until there's zero totems standing up on the map.
-
Killer streams are way more interesting. Survivor videos need some editing to skip the sitting on gens moments for example bc it can get kinda boring to watch lol
-
I love this post, god. I think it explains very well what the main issues with this game are. I think I have left a comment here before but I wanted to say that I got the Freddy Adept achievement a couple of months ago on my second try, fourth match playing as him EVER, against purple/red ranks ---and I don't even main killer. No mori, no OP add-ons, just Freddy and his base perks. He is definitely braindead lol. And I absolutely love Demo and wish I could actually play as him in red ranks since I have recently reached rank 1 killer, but god is he awful in the current state of the game.
-
Real talk though, imagine if they buffed keys and moris. I would go absolutely feral.
-
Among these options, Leon is the one I like the most. But I'm biased towards Ada Wong lol
-
I feel like the idea itself is a problem tbh, I agree that it being a hex, sacrificing only one person and the huge cooldown makes it more or less balanced but I feel like the idea itself is the problem. Rushing the hook states isn't healthy for the game in my opinion, the game already has lots of problems as it is regarding its health (toxicity, gen rush, a few broken add-ons, bad matchmaking, etc) and this would be the cherry on top.
I do applaud your creativity though because it seems like a pretty original idea. I just don't see it properly working without killers finding a way to abuse it and survivors DCing the very moment they realize the perk is being ran (specially if they're in a map where totems can be very tricky to find, like Lery's or Hawkins). Tbh I can't deny I myself would be prone to quitting because if I'm gonna get killed on my second hook no matter what, I might as well end things even quicker and go straight to the next match.
-
Currently trying to have fun with a meme build (which includes Any Means Necessary and Diversion so you can imagine how meta it is lol) but struggling to do so because I'm constantly getting tunneled and/or moried after my first hook. Guess it's my fault for playing with sweaty meta perks-oh ######### hold on. I am not!
-
Honestly not sure but definitely not Steve lol he sounds so dumb
-
The game exists in disc version?!?!?! Console players have the real stuff.
-
The fact that the Legion is not here upsets me to no end lol but that's valid I guess.
-
Thrilling Tremors is fine imo. With Surge I agree.
-
I would say that survivors (as in survivorS, in PLURAL) have the advantage overall. Because if the killer wants to get and kill a specific survivor no matter what, he definitely will and there's little to nothing that survivor can do about it. But the group of survivors as a whole are in a better spot than the killer. Idk if this makes sense.
-
I feel that the current system is okay actually. The map being random unless someone throws some offering in is fine (I would appreciate it if we stopped getting twelve variations of the same realm in a row though). I feel that the new PTB offering that cancels other map offerings is the only thing we were missing for this system to be the most balanced it can be.
-
I feel that being a hex AND having that cooldown is a bit too much. It would be fine if either its hex status or its cooldown were removed. In this sense I'd rather the perk stayed as a hex and the cooldown was removed, but I would be ok with the other way around, too.
-
Tunneling is annoying but facecamping completely stops you from playing the game at all so yeah. It also has no counterplay because you can try some stuff when you're being tunneled but facecamped??? You're just there vibing on the hook lol
It's not as common but not as rare either. Yes, even on red ranks.
-
His perks are awesome, his power is so damn clunky god... I don't see it working, the only use for it is to go from one side of the map to the other quickly. In chase he pretty much becomes an M1 killer, because if you try to actually use his power in chase you keep clashing with walls and can quickly lose track of the survivor you're supposedly chasing.
-
Neither Soul Guard nor Inner Strength counter hex perks. Countering would be nullifying their effect imo and neither of them does that. Yeah, Inner Strength encourages doing totems, but it doesn't directly "counter" hex perks because you are good even doing a dull totem. Soul Guard has literally the opposite effect, encourages you NOT to do hex totems, and while I agree it's potentially strong since survivors can pick themselves up at all times, I have yet to see a single survivor running it (without taking into account people trying to get Cheryl's adept achievement, lol). I haven't seen a single survivor run that perk, neither playing as killer or as survivor myself. If there's a perk that counters hex perks it's Detective's Hunch, because it lets you know where the totems are so you can cleanse them.
All of this being said, the new killer perks are awesome! And it's a shame that the survivor ones suck so much. Because they do suck. And survivors are allowed to be upset that they do, lol. But I'm still glad that killers got such amazing perks.

doing totems is a mistake, memorizing their location is better. and always expect noed.
LMAO k

The problem with stealth teamates is that they often don't take the agro for their team. When I play killer and there are one or two blendettes on the team the other two who aren't stealth gamers always die fast simply because the blendettes are too afraid to share hook states.
Stealth gamers also are more often than not outpositioned and go down in 15 seconds of chase. With the amount of tracking perks that killers have (Whispers, BBQ, Infectious, Survellaince, Gearhead, Discordance, Thrilling Tremors, I'm All Ears, just to say some) and also killers who are excelent at tracking (Doctor, Legion, All Seeing Wraith, Letter Pig, Stridor Spirit, Freddy) it ends up hurting more the team in the long run.
Also, tunneling is a playstyle for some, just like stealth also is 🤷♂️
This.
There will be a point in the game when you most likely won't be able to avoid a chase. If you blend but you try and learn to loop at the same time it's fine by me. But if you completely rely on blending chances are you will get the rest of your teammates, and sometimes even yourself! killed. Because you won't last two seconds in chase, thus not buying time to your teammates to do the objectives. And don't even get me started on blendies who go and hide the very second they hear a single heartbeat. It pretty much becomes a 3 vs 1 game.
-
Color blind settings are long overdue, so yeah.
Fixing bugs is also very important, I have never played a game as buggy as this one, the amount of bugs I face on the daily is insane!
They also need to address a LOT of the balancing in the game: nerfing the meta perks and buffing the useless ones, a couple killers that should be nerfed and a BUNCH that should be buffed/reworked, maps that definitely need some changes (Midwich I'm looking at you), the general gameplay which could use some improvement tbh, specially regarding a second objective or something similar for survivors and cutting a bit of the distance between soloQ and SWF. Etc.
-
It would be strong but it would be a big step towards bringing the SWF & solo Q experiences closer together so it's a yes from me. It could probably come along with other survivor nerfs/killer buffs to balance it out.
-
Ace, Bill, Laurie and Steve are the most consistently toxic in my killer matches. So those I guess. As a Steve main, the fact that every other Steve I have met t-bags, goes clicky clicky with their flashlights and etc is infuriating lol

Same with me...
also Dwight Adept plus... I like that
Hell yeah! Bald Dwight to the end ;)
-
Bond, Leader, Prove Thyself, We'll Make It.
I don't run the meta perks too much tbh. The only one I consistently run is Spine Chill.
-
Among these, FNAF is the one I would like the most, but Resident Evil and Outlast would be awesome too! And also The Evil Within and Until Down.
-
Ran it a couple of times in SWF in Midwich to test how broken it actually was.
It is definitely not okay lol
-
This is happening to me too and it's sad because I for once decided to read the lore but now I can't.
-
I like to play Demogorgon and do a sneaky attacc when the survivors are trying to destroy my portals

Thats why you should not trust Leaks blindly.
I'm not trusting anything blindly, that's why I'm asking ffs. I don't know where the "the next two killers will be licensed" statement comes from. Also key word: "supposed".
-
Wasn't the next killer supposed to be a licensed one???? I'm so confused omg but hyping nevertheless

ive seen someone thats already completed the rift :/
Can't you unlock everything in the rift at once using auric cells though? Or something like that
-
I absolutely despise NOED, it's by far one of the killer perks I hate the most, I feel it rewards killers for failing at their task.
That's why I do totems. I encourage you to do the same. The feeling when the match ends and you see that you removed that perk from the killer's hands by destroying all the totems in the map is one the most satisfying feelings in this game in my opinion.

I'm aware people can lag but it's usually during the whole game, not just magically when the last gen is done for the whole end game
I mean... maybe??? I'm not saying this specific case was just a laggy person. Just pointing out that someone being laggy is just someone being laggy and not cheating, most times, from my experience. I've had my internet start failing at a specific moment during the match and not through the whole of it.
Tbh I could probably write a book about the weird instances of lag I have witnessed in this game. Once, another friend of mine had been hooked in the basement but her character showed up "hooked" five feet away from the gen I was repairing. Another time, an extremely laggy Bubba hooked me... on a tree, a bazillion meters away from the closest hook, more than 10 seconds after my wiggle bar had been completely filled. It sometimes gets weird lol.
-
I have had a friend of mine be accused of lag switching when honestly it was only her internet connection being crap. The game is far more filled with laggy players than with cheaters. I think I have only faced an actual cheater once in my 650 hours in the game.
-
As a PC player I feel that your ignorance of what's being said in the post match chat is actually a blessing, but if that's what you really want... i don't see why not.
