The skin is pretty out of character for Claudette, I think the design team did a good call not adding the g-string.
-
Depippers. Dont feed them.
-
His power is supposed to be a massive buildup, even in tier II he has some really nice buffs
- Increased vaulting speed
- Lower TR than most killers (16 meters)
And in tier III he becomes an snowballing beast
- Greatly increased vaulting speed
- Normal TR
- Exposed status for everyone
- Lunge with better reach
-
Only if you enjoy playing "fair"

Oh ho a fellow aftercare lover. Im curious in what builds you use it in? I like it with autodidact, empathy, and botany but ive been enjoying it in other builds as well.
I like it a lot on sabo builds, it also pairs relatively well with we will make it.
-
I think I use it in about 20% of my survivor builds, its a pretty solid perk for solo.
-
I love deathslinger, he possibly has the best chase theme in the game and the chain mechanic is really fun, at least in my opinion. His chases could be a bit more interactive, but overall he is pretty solid.
-
Old ruin was massively overrated at high ranks, bordering on useless placebo. New ruin is overall more rewarding and you can potentially get more value out of it, the only problem with it is that its not good on every killer and well, its a Hex.
-
I agree, the map is way too big and has strong loops in the worst of places. Only killers that greatly benefit from it are the ones with massive map mobility.
-
He would be cool, but I don't want one of the most powerful and feared characters of his universe turned into a pallet eating machine.
-
She had soul guard, at 27:05 you can see it, and that hag had a hex active. I think you are confusing the "lucky break" icon with the soul guard one.
-
Reddit is awful, speak bad, get censored.
Steam forums are awful, massive bias everywhere, bad moderation.
Most of the PS4 communities are either too small, or also awfully biased places
The forums are the only decent place with a competent moderation.

So as a console player it is really frustrating to play on low frames. However I may have found a solution. To increase frames on the PS4 go to sound and screen and put your resolution down to 720p. This may decrease image quality slightly but will help the game run better. You can also turn off supersampling mode but I'm not quite sure if thats a pro only feature. Enabling boost mode on the pro will also boost performance.
I have taken all these steps and it has been running smoothly since. Hope it can help my fellow PS4 players enjoy the game as smooth as possible.
Oh you ######### legend, you are going to heaven with pants on.

4% may seem small but in practice it can make a painful difference, especially against 110% killers

It isn't. You and other just want an easy automatic 2nd hook.
No? I just want my hooks to have some value, and that survivors can have a high chance of escaping my well earned hooks, especially with perks like DS on play.

I can't until Christmas unfortunately, my PC died and the backup one I had can't run DBD on low graphics to save it's life
I get that feel man. I used to have a nice gaming laptop that could run games like GTA V with no uses for 5 years straight and in 2018 it stopped working because I accidentally spilled my soda on it :(.

No. You factually have no idea how bad 20% chance actually is. But at least it's not ######### compared to 4%.
20% is 5 times 4%. So if you were to attempt to escape, you would have a 1/5 chance of escape, which is way too much.
-
Cant wait to play Mr. Pinball on Heroin.
-
The basic build on demo is STBFL (although, I recommend to stop running it after some time)-Corrupt-BBQ-and a third perk of your choice (preferably something that helps in chase)
Obviously don't forget to bring rat liver if you want to play at a higher level.
Use your portals to maintain good map pressure from time to time.
Be sure to use your shred at every loop possible.

Nobody has ever complained about demogorgon though
Because Demo is literally god. if you complain about him you get instantly disintegrated and sent to the upside down.

If you fall on a dead end its on you really.

No! 20% would be to much.

Really. I had a match earlier as trapper I placed one trap and found my first survivor and 2 gens popped.
Thats not genrush. Thats a poor early game, which trapper tends to have due to having low map pressure. You can correct that with Corrupt, or you can opt to base your playstyle around in, setting traps in an specific area with 4 or 3 generators very close together, start setting up and wait until they come there. Then they are easy prey.

Have you considered that Survivors are just better then Killers because they have better perks, maps are more sided towards them, amnd the pace of the game is decided by the Survivors and not the Killers, taking the power role away from the singular its supposed to belong to?
Yes, and after a while I realized that is incorrect. Maps can be bad towards both sides, and some even got recently reworked to be more balanced, there are barely any god loops left in the game if you haven't noticed. Again, this game has no power role and it should not have a power role, saying that killers should be able to stomp survivors because they are the "power role" is a ######### argument. If you want to play a game with an almost unstoppable power role play F13.

Every time I'm playing survivor I get The Game, Hawkins, Saloon, and other killer maps. Whenever I'm killer its nothing but farm maps, temple of purgation and mothers dwelling.
Ugh lets change map occurences please. I hate getting indoor maps all the time as billy.

Demogorgon is SSS+++ tier and if you think otherwise you have -10000 hours in the game.

Hemorrhage giving twice the amount of blood orbs would be way too overpowered.
Well, what do you think would be reasonable? Or do you think there should be no extra blood orbs at all?
-
In the PTB patch notes it says they fixed that. Hopefully enough, its true.

For a Hex perk, its strength is fairly low. 16 m isn't really much at all. The survivor is almost able to run 16 m in the time it takes for you to recover from a hit, so they would be out of that range shortly after you have recovered. It also only blocks pallets, so they still have access to windows to stall for the 15 seconds of pallet blocking. Its effect seems so minor yet it's a Hex perk, which lets it be cleansed. It could easily get no value in the time in the time it has before it is cleansed. I only see this perk being useful on specific maps where there is an upstairs and downstairs or when there are multiple survivors nearby.
I dont think so, very niche against good survivors and has a cooldown plastered to it.

I dont think dead by daylight is popular enough to have gift cards
-
As peanits said there is no release date announced yet, but based in previous pattern, my guess is it will release the 8th or 10th of september.
-
It may be that my PS4 (that is from 2016) is outdated, but jesus, I am lucky if I get my game to run at 30 FPS, worse still if its lerys. I had to stop playing Demo due to low framerate.

It's hard to play DBD casually, especially considering how toxic the DBD community can be at times. But I always find myself returning to it because there's nothing else quite like it. There's so many reasons to hate it *cough* MATCHMAKING *cough*, but when the game fires on all cylinders it can be a blast to play.
What keeps you playing?
This is one of the few games that actually thrill me each time I play it. Its just fun, and the variety makes it better.

Aside from their insta-downs, they have completely different powers. It wouldn't make sense to give both of them the same limiting mechanic.
No, no, from a lore perspective, I understand why in-game billy needs an overheat, now, I would like to know why exactly does his chainsaw overheat.

We were promised console optimization over a year ago, but it seems the only thing that came of it was a graphical downgrade so as to improve performance. Lately I've been struggling with some frame rate issues on PS4, especially when playing killer, and can't help but consider that when patch 4.2.0 goes live it will become nearly impossible to play.
They CAN optimize console, I remember that after the EGC update went live the FPS received a major upgrade, I was actually able to play nurse decently for once after the update went live.

Damn it looks great. Aayla looks a bit odd, but besides that, it looks masterfully done.

They disabled it because it messed up the servers, they are testing it on some separate regions.

Probably because it is a cheap, lazy way to play, instead of just becoming good at playing killer. I understand the salt fo sho.
How so? You dont like being slugged so now its cheap and lazy?

230% according to the wiki, double the base movement speed, which is ######### fast.
For reference, Billy moves at the same speed.

People suggest putting SCP into DBD but what about putting dbd into scp? The Entity would make an excellent SCP. A creature that traps people in it's reality. Forces them to do it's bidding. Encourages them to escape while snatching it away at the last moment to feed off their hope. It doesn't release them even after death. Good luck trying to contain that. Best they can do it quarantine the areas where it can grab people.
Why not both?
-
I wish. Although, I think it would be better if they focused on optimizing console, I would hate if the new maps released with the same frame rate as lerys.
-
-
It depends, Pop is overall more reliable than ruin but you can potentially get more value out of ruin.
High pressure killers like Billy, Spirit, Oni and stall killer like Piggy and Legion can potentially benefit more from ruin
Low pressure killers like Bubba, Trapper, Myers (to an extent) and killers with decent map traversal but bad ability to down like wraith and most recently blighty benefit more from pop
-
Eh, I personally slug a lot. I don't see it as being sweaty, just a way of keeping decent map pressure, but I get a lot of negative comments when I do it.
-
@Alice_pbg said:
wth is wrong with your console?
Nothing, but indoor maps are currently hell, I sadly had to stop playing demo because maps like lerys ran at something like 4 FPS when playing.

I dont think Pop or DS are required to play properly. As survivor I can do just fine without DS, I haven't used it since I got my adept as Laurie. Same with Pop, I am not trying to say pop is not an excelent perk, but with time it feels more like training wheels than anything, there are some other builds you can try that work better for gen regression than just slapping pop on your killer.

Proving what? That survivors in red ranks dont like being told that they are in the power role? Especially SWF?
There is no such thing as a power role in this game and there shouldn't be. Almost any killer with enough experience can beat most teams if he has the sufficient skill, with some exceptions, like ######### map RNG and other controlled variables.
Of course there are some aspects of this game that are unbalanced, I am not denying that SWF can easily be abused to gain a competitive advantage, but I dont think every game you go against a sweaty 4 man.
