Wait what you put Punctured Muffled in your A tier? Have I missed something or not had any issues with Chainsaw cooling rate ever yet (Playstyle difference?) I'm glad you put LoPro Chains up there though - I'm honestly a fan and think it's a straight playstyle difference and it's just satisfying when you got flying through at them
Honestly didn't use Apex Muffler enough to know if I'm just not lucking into those cross map stabs because they happen even if I'm not running it where I sprint and a survivor just comes dashing out into my face so I veer slightly GTA style.
As it is I agree that the Iridescent Brick alone lower tier and is just situationally hard to use in too since your chainsaw is just revving anyway even if you are. Which is why I suggested combining it with the Apex muffler.
The chainsaw heat dissipation rate got nerfed back to 3.5. With the punctured muffler you can use your chainsaw a lot more - I have personally found it very handy in open maps, because it allows me to patrol generators more easily with the chainsaw. But I dont think its necessary.
Apex muffler is amazing on stealth build, I have catched a lot of survivors off guard with it. it's somewhat map dependant, but on the maps it works, it works like a charm.

What 50/50s? Loops like jungle gyms and some buildings are blatantly unfair. There is no guess, the survivor is in control.
How are jungle gyms unfair? Unless you are playing a completely M1 killer like GF, legion or wraith you have ways of cutting them.
-
Ok, but wha about da SWF?
-
I don't think "lack of counterplay" is really an issue, especially in a game that is not really all that competitive.
But spirit does not seem quite right to me, I mean, she has her difficulty and all, but comparing her with killers like hag, billy, huntress and nurse with a high skill ceiling, she just feels too easy to play for what she offers, same problem I had with old billy and current freddy.
Its okay that a killer is strong, but to get to play him to his maximum potential you should have to put a considerable amount of brains on it, and with spirit its really not that hard, specially with add-ons.
-
The reason I voted for it is because of the mask. If it releases without facial expressions imma be mad.
-
Well, back to having 2 teammates DC because they got downed :/

Okbuddydaylight is the only tolerable dbd subreddit.

Me waiting to prank BHVR when they optimize console.

Wow, your favorite content creator had a bad game, this is sure solid proof this game is unbalanced. Survivormains rekt.
-
All of them are incorrect, its demos shred. Shred is the absolutely fastest thing in the whole game.
-
I had this about a year ago but with pig, I could not see gen or hook auras.
-
I swear, these hackers must be paid or have an agenda, they are extremely dedicated to this.
-
Breaking a pallet with shred saves you about .2 seconds compared to just breaking it normally.
-
Eh, no. I think devs can do better than slapping some perks into the base kit to solve design issues and boring gameplay mechanics.
-
This bug has gotten me into a moral dilemma more than once, if I hook the survivor that got stuck in the bug I feel that I am a dick, if I don't I feel that I am playing dumb. I just slug them for 30 seconds and if nobody has picked the up by that time I hook them.
-
You are toxic when you do things especifically to annoy your opponent, like clicking your flashlight, teabagging, hitting on hook, leaving them to bleed out on the ground on purpose, etc.
-
Pig should be completely reworked so that she has completely sets of traps that make the game interesting. she should be stall master, but they should make it so that her stall is both reliable and fun.
-
Legion is underrated on its own, sure, they dont have the most thrilling gameplay, but they possibly have the best non-RNG dependant stall in the game. I have shredded SWF teams with ruin surveillance endurance and spirit fury.

Sweatiest spirit build and the kate still costed him like 3 gens because she would never let him get the injure and outsmarted him multiple times. Tru3s not the best killer but he has played spirit a lot and is basically using the "easiest killer in the game" by most people with a mori. Spirits at a big disadvantage if she cant get a injure on you and when tru3 would phase it looked like shed crouch walk to heavily reduce her noise. As well as using sprint burst to make space forcing him into phase. Unpredictability and using noises to her advantage tru3 literally had to bail on the chase so he could down the claud which let her get the last gen done. All this with probably the best spirit addons and a ebony lol. If he didnt have the ebony he probably would have actually lost the game because of her with spirit.
You guys have a fetish with tru3talent or something? Apparently he is a god incapable of making mistakes now.

I like Cheryl as she is currently, but your edit is fantastic.

Dont care, did not ask, plus you probably dont main demo.

That time I was so mad at a bad game the next time I brought iri head + infantry belt huntress and still only got 2 kills...

I do, I like his guess game, plus his music ######### rocks
DUN DUN, DUN DUN
DUN DUN, DUN DUN
DUN DUN, DUN DUN

Lockers are not supposed to be a perfectly safe place.

Demo literally kills them all in the blink of an eye.

Well, yeah, sure, these forums are somewhat killer sided but its the best we have got, reddit, steam, discord servers, they are all pretty bad.

Which killer are you playing?

I agree that there is an issue with this game where the majority of perks for rank 1-8 gameplay contribute NOTHING to the match for the killer. once a person plays against coordinated SWF teams. They can play through about ANYTHING and abuse the killer. Here is what my list looks like, for perks I have crossed out. and even then, good teams still counter them EASILY.

Coldwin farm realm has one of the worst maps for almost all the killers (excluding hillbilly and maybe bubba) The worst map of this realm is Rotten fields, it need's to be reworked or shrunk.
Shelter woods has little amount of pallets, and is the biggest map in dbd after Mother's Dwelling.
I hope that one of these maps will be reworked next.
Wait, wasnt rotten fields the biggest map of the game?

Tru3 just posted a video of 4 gens being done in 3 minutes. But survivors will say hes #########, and he needs to pressure better. They wont acknowledge how strong SWF is, and splitting up on gens at the start of the game is.
Its not that he's #########, absolutely not, but as soon as he starts losing its immediately fault of the game mechanics and SWF/DH/DS/Stream snipers and its obviously fault of the game, never of the mistakes he makes, blaming it on the genrush boogeyman. If we analyze the game closely, he makes a ton of mistakes in the early and it's not until the third gen pops that he realizes he is seriously ######### up. Plus, to top things of on the crap cake, he was affected by the infamous 99% bloodrage Oni bug.
Do I think that SWF is perfectly fine? No, it can be easily abusable, but you cant keep away people from playing with their friends.
-
Exactly my point, you guys won't engage in any conversation, its just "my favorite streamer had a bad game and said its the genrush, checkmate survivor mains"

Survivor is the power role - "Fun killer"
Killer is the power role - "Boring/Unfun killer"
I enjoy playing against ds, spirit and nurse as they're unique. Instead of them relying on you making mistakes, you rely on them making mistakes. As killers should be. You still have input as you can cause them to make mistakes but if they play perfectly they can get you
No such thing as a power role in this game.

Considering that the game is based on the fact that someone wins and someone loses.... yeah I'd say it's pretty important. Especially when it's competitive and ranks/MMR are affected.
Thats the problem with modern gaming, people are too focused on making ######### competitive and winning to actually enjoy the game.

If winning is that important to someone that they'll purposefully ruin someone's game just so they can have an easy advantage, that's really scummy. I used to bring party streamers and the anniversary cakes but now I feel like I'm supporting their crappy ways so I just bring bloodpoint offerings for myself or other survivors.
Camping is only an "easy advantage" if survivors enable the killer. Do gens and escape, if you are the guy on the hook try to hold on as long as possible.

Are you saying Claudette is autistic........?
Jesus Christ
In her tome it is implied that she may suffer from aspergers, but that's just a deduction.

How come autistic people can't be free spirits maybe in a different timeline her autism got her interested in music and her mother fostered her connection to art. It's not that hard.
Well, thats a way of seeing it. But I still cant agree, it just does not feel like Claudette.

Also c'mom Do you really believe at any point in his life based on what we know about him. Jake was ever in a mine in the 1930s.
You are not getting me man.
The outfit you mentioned, for example, is not really out of character for Jake, Jake comes from a wealthy family but he prefers simpler and more rustic ways of living, portraying him as a low-class miner is not really farfetched, compared to portraying Claudette in rapper clothes.

Did we all collectively forget that Claudette has a bikini skin.
A very "prudent" one that shows no that much skin

because you can't quote things on two separate pages here is my earlier post:
"Do Meg and Jake's 80s attires match their lore, do David and The Doctors Naval Outfits match their lore, do any of the Greek skins. I don't know if that reasoning works. If the lore thing was applied to everyone it would."
I'm starting to think people want to be offended for no reason.
Im not offended. Again, it's that her outfit goes completely against her personality. You don't see David with a tutu and a tiara, or Billy with an elegant tuxedo and top hat. Its just weird and, again, out of character.

can you guys stop with this out of character #########? it's stupid and a dumb excuse to say you just hate woman being anything but shy little submissive ladies.
No, its just that this outfit is literally out of character, Claudette in lore is an introvert botany fanatic that uses the internet to communicate her ideas and hobbies, with hints that she may have asperger's syndrome in her tome. Making her dress Cardi B style just goes contrary to her personality.
-
Deathbound is bad on spirit. It allows survivors to hear you even when you are phasing near them. Overall a bad choice.
-
From the way I see it, it was changed for 2 main reason.
- Was used so much it messed with data recolection.
- Was too punishing with newer players, while older better skilled players could surpass it with ease.
I argue that the new ruin is way better than the old one at high ranks if you apply enough pressure throughout the map, that, obviously, is not possible with every killer on every map, but its still pretty solid.
-
Not even close. Nurse requires a ton of mechanical skill and muscle knowledge, not even taking into account the almost unbearable bugs on the newer maps. Spirit requires good headphones, a couple decent add-ons and some prediction, and you are pretty much set.

My totally unbiased add-on list, from best to worst
