We have hundreds of nerf this nerf that posts on a daily basis, never deleted, never silenced, and yet we have one thread that's being bumped because people are concerned and it's deleted. Because it was bumped.
It's ridiculous.
The mod decided to close the thread before things were sorted out by posters, because one guy bumped it. He was even reprimanded and advised against it by others.
Not blaming the user that bumped the thread, mind you. I'm only bringing attention to the fact that she took advantage of one slip up to excuse closing the thread, at 1000 replies and multiple thousand views.

I know king had a PS4 and he's a pretty big fog whisperer. It would be cool to get like Otz or Tru3 to highlight the issue.

I own a regular PS4. After lowering the resolution to 720p and rebuilding my database, I noticed a slight improvement, but nothing substantial.

I've bought every DLC and bought some of the licensed cosmetics including the Lisa legendary skin. I'm not buying the upcoming DLC, or any other, until they start fixing the console issues. Seems silly to keep buying things for console but not see console get supported.

Here to help keep this thread alive, my console brethren. I've been playing this game for a couple of years now, on both sides, but it's gotten to a point in which I can't enjoy killer anymore due to the atrocious frames. It sucks since I started maining a killer from a franchise i really love, but can't help but feel extremely frustrated while playing with the game in this state.

Hmm. I dunno about you, but EVERYTHING runs better than that map for me, so I can't say for sure that's good news. In particular, Hawkins, Ormond and new Lery's turn my PS4 into a potato when I play killer.

While true, not everyone can afford one in a couple of months. I play on PC, but everyone else I can now play with are on PS4 or Xbox. Two of them are having to move to a new house within the next few months due to the owner of where they live selling it (and that is not a small expense), and the other works but has kids, a mortgage, et cetera and can't just drop hundreds for a new-gen console at release. Especially with kids and family to all buy for for Xmas in a few months.
They need to optimize the current consoles, not just rely on everyone affording the new generation at their launch.
This. I don't plan on buying a PS5 anytime soon either. Should old gen consoles stop receiving support, you can expect a significant part of the player base to abandon the game. Also, queue times will pretty much revert back to what they were before crossplay was implemented (upwards of 5 minutes for Survivor).
