Check out Otzdarvas match with the "Gentleman" at hexy's tournament ("best of the best" or something like that), there you can see a Wraith against a tournament squad. Tru3 also plays alot Wraith.
I know that match. It was only a tournament squad by name. They couldnt even figure out that he uses all seing after the match restart.

Disclaimer: I do not pretend to be the best killer ever. But I do just fine with him vs red rank groups and 4k most of my matchs. And the ones that I don't usually are 3k by the end. But maybe you can learn something from my videos
Thanks. With the videos i understand the tl-mindgame better. So most of the time i should play tiles just normally? (Jungle gyms, short/long-wall)

Yh keys are annoying. But i must say the small change to the hatch was much better as i thought. I got a kill bc the hatch closed 10secs after a key instead of 30secs.
They will probably rework keys in this year.

I can't find the gens being fine. I am playing this game since 2017 and I am absolutely astonished by how fast gens are made after getting back to the game after not playing for about a year

The only thing that changed is survivor mentality. There are more survivor now that focus gens. There are still many who waste time in solo que, but it happens more often that 3 gens get done when the killer struggles with the first chase.

If its not a unsafe pallet its a lot easier to loop a wraith then a spirit. So wraith lacks the one thing that makes spirit strong. She can ignore pallets.

Deathslinger doesn’t need a nerf. He isn’t strong enough, but he does need counterplay in the 1v1, which might be too complicated to fix for him.
I mean he has counterplay. Its hard but its not like he activates his power and gets a hit. Some structures are worthless against him and he can fake his power to zone you out, but a good survivor can loop him longer then an average survivor.

@GannTM said:
It feels that way on Grim Pantry for some reason.
The hook spawn can be awful there. I had a match where i could only hook on one hook when i downed someone behind or in the main building. They had no offering but they did bodyblock. It was an annoying match.

All the time people say that Hex-Totems get cleansed in 30 seconds, yet Ruin is still one of the most used Perks (even without Undying). And before its change, it was in basically every Match, despite Spawns being worse.
Hex-Spawns are probably not as bad as people want to make them. There are also a lot of really good Spawns. But nobody talks about those.
When it comes to Survivors spawning next to Hex-Totems - Maps only have a limited space. And the smaller the Map is (and some got their size reduced around a year ago), the more likely things are cramped together. So it is unavoidable that Survivors spawn next to Totems and the chance that this Totem will be the Hex is 20%, which is also not small.
But if we are totally honest its not that hard to solve this problem. There are maps which are a lot better for totems then others.
-
But for which reason would you tunnel people bc of the charm? Its no gameplay advantage.
-
As survivor i prioritize gens. I know that most of the time someone else will rescue, so i unhook only when the hook is near or nobody rescues and the hooked person would reach the next hook state. Im confident i can loop the killer, so i almost never hide when im on a gen. Im not good at hiding anyway and dont want to risk a free hit for the killer. When im looping i like to be unpredictable, break los and leave the loop without the killer noticing.
-
I play less at the moment, so right now not all my killers have tricksters perk. But normally i get the new killer p3 all perks, the perks on all other killer, the new survivor lv 40 and the perks on my main survivor before midchapter.
With every chapter i need to spend 300k bp more (one more killer). Thats almost nothing compared to the bloodpoints i need to do for the listed things above. So i dont think new chapter would be a problem, if i would not play less.
The extra survivor means for me only 1,3 mio BP more, so i should be able to handle that. Imo the grind is bad for new players, but its ok for players who only need to level the new chapter.
-
I have no problems as survivor on console. I dont do fancy stuff, but you dont need it. I doesnt feel like i have a disadvantage and im the best player with crossplay on most of the time.

Really? Its an exhaustion perk, meaning you have to not run for 60 seconds to regain it. So, unless you stand still with your killer for 60 seconds (although a lot of killers can do that easily because they camp anyway) your killers power would be a once-a-match use, for having a short distance rush. This leads to just one conclussion: You play most killers wrong.
Its 40 seconds.

Ah, I see. Why the licensed ones only?
Bc for others i can get cosmetics with shards.
-
I had a match where everyone dced and the hatch spawned 20m in front of me.
-
Its the same for me.
-
Billy. In the beginning i wanted to p3 all killers, but after the second (hag) i stopped with the originals and prestiged only licensed killer.
-
They could have just made it a shirt. Then you could have combined it with the crowns from last year. It just seems that they use crowns bc its almost no work.

While Haddonfield is bad,no map is worse than Sheltered Woods.
Thats simply not true. I have no problem with this map as survivor and i dont see killer burning offerings for this map. You could say they dont use offerings bc its only for the realm, but survivor use autohaven and farm offerings, too.

For adept challenges it does
Yh i know that it is annoying for adept or challenges. What i meant with not really important is that adept etc are less important than game health, balancing etc. So it would be a nice chance but the game is playable without it.
-
I thinks its Ash or Ace.
-
Imo dcs should count as kill, but its not really important.
-
Billy. It was fun and i reached red rank with him, but now im playing him not so often anymore.

What do ranks even have to do with anything?
Watched my friend earlier today play friendly Spirit. Didn't injure anyone or anything, just chased, but then in the exit gate they're blinding him and when he tries to hook one they break the hook and continue trying to blind him. Why? What the hell does that prove, to bully someone who never even swung their weapon?
But he didn't then switch over to survivor and play like a dick to make other killers feel his pain. Because that is ass backwards.
Congrats on being part of the problem, I guess, you've found a really weird way to try to justify it but have fun adding to the community's toxicity.
Why are they not allowed to use game mechanics to help another survivor? It was probably a boring match for them bc your friend didnt attack and i can understand their frustration.

Sorry, but i'm pretty sure we shouldnt give BP to someone who's literally doing nothing except hanging around.
Im pretty sure we should. Otherwise there is no reason for the survivor to not just suicide. Distracting the killer should be rewarded even if it takes no skill.
-
Sprint boost. I first tried to unlock sprintboost, self care and urban evasion. Im not proud of that.
-
I think many would say balanced landing is the third best exhaustion perk, so its not underrated. But maybe im wrong.
Balance landing is imo the most map dependent exhaustion perk.
-
Detectives hunch is far better then both anyway. Well, if you are able to do one gen.
-
Imo there needs to be more evidence to ban someone. Its not my problem bc i never hit people on the hook but i think clearer evidence is needed. Most will admit it in chat anyway.

Have you tried playing survivor for a change?
He said "solo queue is like working with jellyfish in human bodies."
I also only play solo and i know what he means. But i can deal with it and i get some good solos, too.

You could be right, can't say for sure until its fully released, and with what NightWolfsFury said, maybe there could be a system which survivors vote for what benefits they could have. Another possibility could be they cannot stack if other survivors have them equipped, this requires more communication between them. To my knowledge, xbox, playstation, PC, all have messaging systems to communicate.
You cant communicate crossplatform and even if all on ps4 you need to use console messages and nobody does that.

BBQ, Sloppy Butcher, Nurses Calling, Pop goes the weasel.
If you use BBQ utilize the info for pop. You can also use the info to see where survivor try to remove their traps. Bc of sloppy most of them dont heal and are easy targets. So if you dont have something to pop, down them. Nurses has good synergy with sloppy and your stealth ability. Dont use your stealth the entire time, only when you know where someone is (BBQ-info etc)

Because every second pallet in The Game is actually a dead end.
Not really. There are some rooms on the lower floor where you cant get out if the killer doesnt break a wall, but most of the time you can easily reach another pallet.
-
@bm33 said:
I always drop the pallet that traps me in a corner and screws me over. 😂
Maybe the killer has mercy if you slowvault into him. Its always funny if someone uses this pallet.
-
Getting a stun and a hit makes sense if you get hit before the stun. Sometimes i shouldnt get hit on pallets, but i almost never get hit 5 feet away from it.
-
I dont want it. I want to play ace but i would always choose the best survivor. Then i would need to grind another survivor with all perks and if i want to switch it up or need to bc someone picked my character i need to level atleast 4 survivor.
And you can add something different to a killer to buff him then a perk. They struggle with balancing killer right now anyway, so it would make it only more complicated.
-
I understand under winning by default when its clear from the beginning who will win. Things like a old mori, keys, some maps etc. You still can win against that but its very unlikely when both teams have the same skill level.
So killing someone early has the same effect (almost unwinnable) but its not by default. The killer has to work for it. Its easy against average players and tunneling is a strong strategy bc of that.
But against a good survivor you need a strong killer for it. I can count the matches in the last year where a killer tunneled me to death from the start and won bc of it on my tentacles and im not nemesis so i have none.
-
Ace.
-
The boon totem from the anniversary stream could be similar to this talisman idea.
-
For me it gets less. I dont know why. I had messages disabled bc it was that bad and after i enabled them again there were still some messages. But now i get almost nothing.
Things that changed: i started to report people (ps4 support), i got better and i have less mercy in a match.
But nobody can see that i report often, i think my winrate was high before i disabled messages and now that i dont play for 12 hooks anymore survivor should be more likely to bm me. So i have no idea what happened.
-
I have with every survivor other than my main a fun build with the perks i unlocked until lv 40.
The build i play the most is my nancy build: Head On, Quick and Quiet, Inner Strength, DS. I would switch ds with a totem perk or with IW but i dont have them on nancy.
Yuis build is also interesting: Breakout, Saboteur, Inner Strength, Mettle of Man.
-
Its a problem with map design. They could surely add a stamina bar or something similar but that would create more balancing problems. So they should just change problematic maps.
-
Dont worry. If there would be too many bans, the game would die. So the devs will never let it happen.
-
I only know that the player at the japan tournament were a joke.
But its hard to compare anyone with the matchmaking that we have right now. Isnt it normal everywhere to get instant matches with killer in the evening?

Mayb if they make it normal speed again, but can only be used when ur health progress is at least 80%/75%/70%.
No that would make it useless without a medkit. With selfcare you use exact the same amount of time as when you get healed from another survivor. There shouldnt be a time gain, you are just more flexible.
Technically you are faster, when someone selfcares near a gen and one survivor does the gen then if you first heal and then do the gen together. So selfcare can be a time gain.
-
What i didnt understand was the number-letter-combo instead of a simple word. But im ok when they expire after 24 hours. When im online and know a code, i use it. But i dont go out of my way just to use codes, they are not that important.
-
Self care is a decent perk. But most survivor use it wrong. They dont know when their actions kill the entire team.
I just want a good MMR-system and a decent team, so that i dont need to see this people anymore.
