That's moving the goal post. We're not asking that survivors shouldn't be able to sprint. We're asking why players with thousands of hours like myself are still getting spun multiple times in a match? Is it really still our skill at question? And yeah, people can have their cheap laughs about it: "You got spun, bruh!" but that doesn't mean that we're bad at killer. They're using that premise to dodge discussing this issue.
To be fair, once they spin you, they start throwing to do it again. So I do not mind too much. If survivors capitalized on whatever advantage state they created, it would be annoying. But hey, if they want to laugh in exchange for a hook... I will take that trade every time.

There's a reason why people are considered "babies" if they're under 1000 hours. You can organically become good at looping, but it takes longer than most games.
I am still considered a baby? I thought I had matured into a beautiful and elegant face camper many, many hours ago and I am nowhere near 1k.

funny enough all 8 complaining about ppl immediately giving up on hook.
I thought we were getting more variety.
Why did you think we would get more variety?

Dragon's Grip is not that bad to be honest. There are dozens of other perks that I would put well below it.

Or you could just put them on the hook and then look for the last one. If they escape, darn, if you catch them, hooray! I've found it equally boring as killer to leave someone on the ground and hope the last one comes along and take one of the most obvious baiting tactics in the game. Your best bet would be to work on that skill level.
Nah, if I am on a challenge that requires it, I will be getting that bonus kill. I do not care how boring it is. Doing challenges is boring. I am already bored when I decide to do it. You need to have the determination to follow through! Never give up. Those survivors believe they are the only one petty enough to overcome the boredom, but you can prove them wrong with some will power and a pinch of fairy dust, SgtMittens. I believe in you.

One match per week? Slow down, man. There is more than enough DbD to go around. You are going to burn yourself out at this pace.

Its cringe. Thanks for wasting 4 mins of my time every game so you can boost your ego a bit.
Don't thank me, thank your friend that is praying you bleed out faster. If it were up to me, I would catch them one second after you went down. Trust me. They are the problem. Thanks for understanding.
-
I do not care too much. I do not even pay attention to offerings unless I get that cake, son. Nothing I notice more than a big, fat, juicy cake. It immediately catches my eye and I cannot stop staring. Those curves...
-
Well, you need to stop moving to use insidious. It would be very strange to use it without "camping."

Our first viable killer since Nemesis? Nah. Queues will be long for killer. Very long.

If it was just matchmaking, these longer queue times would be spread evenly among survivors and killers. But it is not. Killers seem to be the only ones with longer queue times, which definitely suggests that there is an imbalance in player count for each side. DBD doesn't have enough survivor players at the moment.
It depends on when you play, and that could potentially suggest it is actually relatively even... Overall. In practice, that does not really matter however. And that is also why we are getting queue incentives.
-
I certainly hope not. Artist is very poorly designed in my opinion. My least favorite killer. Ugh.
Now Whisker? He a cutie. More like him, pls. UwU
-
Iron Grasp and Agitation to take them to basement. And also Lightborn is better than Shadowborn. True supremacy.
-
I have to agree, the 5 seconds is so bad. I feel they should just rework borrowed and make it 10 seconds base.
I honestly just use Save the Best for Last and disrespect regardless because off the record. But it would improve my survivor games if the killer had time to reach me before my precious endurance ended.
-
I cannot see in that house either. It is extra bad because I wear sunglasses while I play the game. And survivors wonder why we face camp...
-
Nah, you can complain about hooks or pallets. Whatever, fam. It is your life. I have no standards. Let alone double.

For one thing, as I said, he tiered before a single gen was done, inside of a minute or 2. If it isn’t obvious, this is a solo experience. If you think there aren’t OP Michael builds you’re a fool. Considering the massive imbalance for solo play, you’re already at a huge disadvantage. It makes the ‘gift’ builds like Perma 3 Meyers near unbeatable. The point is there are many ‘gift’ builds for killer, some more than others. Indoor aura builds for Mike and Wraith, Rusty shackles hag, lately the anti-gen legion builds actually hit that mark as long as the killer is at least average or better. And then just the OP nature of Nurse and Blight themselves. There is zero chance that killer kill rates are anywhere close to 50%. If they are, they need to look at their data differently.
And the overall point, to all of these people playing these unloseable games: Winning is meaningless when you can’t lose. Zero respect and I completely deny you’ve achieved anything. It’s just going through the motions to an inevitable outcome. So yeah…. Get good and try playing something fair.
You are a man of culture who respects a good face camp game from a Bubba. You understand we work hard and sweat for the win. Screw those corny Myers mains and their easy wins.
-
Probably? Surprised they are releasing a viable killer. It is really out of character for them. No way he does not get nerfed. And based on their response here, we can easily discern a nerf will indeed be happening. Mystery solved.
-
Decisive Strike for the free escape. Glad they finally realized an "I win" button was cringe even in a party game.
-
Solo queue sucks even against Sadako, who is the weakest killer, by the way. Whatever your opinion on whoever is worse is wrong. It is fine, happens to the best of us.
-
I would say the only solution is to just DC. But they threatened to ban me if I encouraged it. So I need to be clear and tell you NOT to DC. Do not, it is against the rules. Holding the game hostage is not, I guess? I do not know, they will not add a forfeit option to save people from being held hostage because it is intended, clearly. So, again, do not disconnect. That is against the rules. Just take your loss even if it takes up to 2 hours.
-
If you aren't a believer and one born of light, you have to slug. Basically feign that you are going to open the locker, they get into position, down them. Rinse and repeat.
Remember they can't do it alone. These types cannot go to the bathroom alone, they keep holding hands. No matter what. Once their will is broken, you can hook if you want. Once they realize you won't fall for it, they will stop and desperately try to do gens and/or give up.

I rarely tunnel the unhooked survivor out of basement.
You are missing out.
-
If I am not on a challenge, absolutely. No offense intended, but some survivors are a little slow to the punch, so it might not be hatch, per se. I go to the opposite end and look for hatch, if I find it I instantly close it so they can take a gate. Too many of them never trust you at end game and it wastes a lot of time. Sometimes they think you are chasing them and blah blah blah, it is probably the reason content creators rarely give it unless it is nearby. Lol.
-
I do not care about escaping myself, so I play hyper altruistic. But I play the sleaziest lone wolf style imaginable if I am on an escape challenge. Challenges make me play in a way that nobody would ever want to play with me if they weren't forced to. But I am not taking responsibility for that, I would not do it if it weren't for the challenges. Their b.

Ive faced tougher players and got similar results, the main difference is between the two is one I have clipped and the other I dont, so obviously with the limitation, Im going to use what I have. Gameplay is just an example of constantly pushing against the survivors, in tougher lobbies, it's not so easy, but still is recommended, pressure is important for both sides and typically the side that plays more aggressive and pressures the most wins.
As to rather this is a good or bad example to use however is entirely subjective. While you might disagree with it, I might agree with it, and vice versa. But that's the beauty of the internet, we all have different opinions and it quite literally doesnt matter at all.
I think his point is you do not need pressure to 4k against potatoes. And pressure does nothing against good players. He is correct, you are wrong. The opinion card does not apply here, redeem it elsewhere, fam.

Just Wesker to be honest. I love Ada and Rebecca, but I feel Yun Jin is my survivor animal. It is like a spirit animal... Only digital, and with a crouching obsession.

Reassurance. Buy it. Very pay to win.

He does not "really need them" as, well, half the time they are not doing anything anyways because they fail to fix the common bug spots. That being said, they better not touch them unless they want to fix the bugs. Removing them for a salty survivor would make papa salty.

-
Behavior for disabling queue incentives. I want the bugged version base kit, fam. Just let survivors have their bloodpoints so that I can kill them in peace.

Absolutely. If it goes through as is, I will entirely lose my faith in them. There is no way that will happen, however.

The only abuse of the new perk I can think of right now that will probably happen a few times. Is if a group of 3 people continually use it on the random 4th person to keep them on a hook the whole game, just for the giggles.
I do not agree however, that using it against a camping killer is abuse in anyway. All the killer has to do to avoid a SWF getting use out of reassurance, is to just not camp.
Well, that is false. Sorry you cannot think of other uses of the perk. I assure you other survivors will. Don't worry too much about it.
-
No, I just throw the pallet down so that I can inform the killer I am healing you. It is thrilling wondering if I will finish in time or not with fettered access to a resource. I am just trying to challenge myself.
-
I doubt it is ever coming.

This thread confuses me. It’s a 4v1. If the 4 survivors don’t all do well, they will not do well as a whole. Their strength is said numbers. That is intentional. Why should survivors do well if 3 of the 4 of them suck?
They shouldn't. But matchmaking should be better. Everyone here knows how it feels to have to do 3 gens solo, max out your boldness in chase and STILL need to play for hatch. It sucks.
-
Sadako is 9 because I wanted to p3 her day one. If I had known this update was coming, I never would have done it. The flex took months to set up for only one day of pay off. Would not recommend.

Very strong, relatively anyway, compared to survivor perks.
I think it's a great perk mainly because when it activates, it stays active until you use it, so you can use it in unpredictable ways.
Btw i have no idea what the Flesh Pits stage is.
The whole center of the map is just a line of double vaults. It is horrific. Came out of my worst nightmares. In the MacMillan realm.
-
@OrangeBear said:
I can't tell if you are joking or not but regardless i agree with everything here.
Especially about survivors not getting good perks.
In the upcoming DLC the survivor perks are really, really bad.
Reactive Healing, worthless. Nobody will use it.
Low profile, worthless, way too situational, and if that's not enough there's a time limit because it'd clearly be too overpowered if it was permanent...
Wiretap seems good but in reality it's a novelty perk. It would have been good if it worked with Open-Handed, but it doesn't. In reality when you use this perk the killer will always kick the gen. Perks in dbd work like that. If you have deliverance the killer will hook you first.
Better than new is way too undertuned.
Hyperfocus is too difficult and will only be used by genrush builds.
Reassurance is strong but only if the killer camps, if they don't, this perk will not do anything.
Meanwhile, all of weskers perks are very strong and very impactful.
I am not sure I would call his single vault with a 30 second cooldown perk very strong or very impactful. It is just alright. I will run it with Bam Bam, I suppose, but less because it is powerful and more because I hate the Flesh Pits stage.

That is a thing? Wow... Kind of busted, not going to lie. Luckily all the Legion I play against prefer other add ons, because I definitely enjoy stunning them out of their power.

The shrine needs a complete rework.
1) No more "free perks" in the shrine. Only DLC perks should be in the shrine. Nobody should be unlocking sprint burst with the shrine for 2,000+4,000+6,000 shards because they did not prestige Meg yet.
2) Remove the lock out for new perks in the shrine - make it 100% random among all DLC perks. Once a perk has been in the shrine keep it out of the shrine until all the DLC has been available.
That would be fine if this was not a free to play game just trying to make money somehow. Oh, wait a minute...

Then hop on over to VHS. Almost nobody is playing monster in that game because who wants to be "whipped into submission" when they are supposed to be playing the power role in a 1 vs 4 game.
That garbagio is not on console. Most of those failed DbD clones aren't. I am noticing a trend!
-
Tunneling is good form if you want to win... Or annoy the survivors. Either way, it is a win-win from that perspective. What do you stand to lose?

-"BHVR is making a very bad judgement decision to not revert some of the killer buffs and survivor nerfs in the new update."
Do you notice how the queue times over the last few months have gone from 5-10 minutes to 15-30 seconds? This probably has something to do with people actually wanting to play killer. DBD doesn't work if everyone wants to play survivor. You can literally see that in action with the new VHS game on steam. That game is way too teen centric so nobody wants to play monster. The result is that you can wait in queue for 15 minutes to play teen to play a game that lasts 5 minutes. Sounds fun right? DBD used to have exactly the same problem.
It would be nice to go back to that same problem. I wish mmr was tight so competent survivors could whip mediocre killers into submission, again.

Oh wow you’re actually serious lmfao. How do you have 900+ posts (meaning you’ve probably played this game a lot) and you still don’t understand the basics. If the survivors use the perk when the killer is on the other side of the map it only hurts the survivors. Simple. They have 1 less person doing gens, totems, gates, healing, etc. the perk ONLY and I repeat, ONLY hurts camping. Leaving somebody on hook “because they are on death hook” even though the killer is across the map is just not beneficial at all. There is 0 reason why that would be good for your team. You not only have 1 less person doing things, you have 2 people running over to keep activating the perk, which is wasting more time. “It’s the difference between getting a 3 man or 4 man out” and so is unhooking the survivor and healing them and they can hide/be extra cautious. “Swf will use this to make sure all 4 get out by keeping him on hook” and it’s almost like we forgot that swf have comms so once the death hook person gets unhooked and healed and starts working on a gen the other survivors can say “he’s not chasing me anymore” or “he’s coming over to you (death hook person)” and then that person gets off the gen and hides. And all 4 still make it out lol and it’s more beneficial for the team.. This perk ONLY hurts camping
He is not wrong, actually. No offense intended with this at all, but the reason I am NOT worried about reassurance in the slightest is because most survivor mains are... Not particularly creative. I have no fear that anyone will run this perk despite how hilariously gamebreaking it actually is. Everyone's fixation on face camping is what will keep that perk a meme, fortunately.
