Eh, facing a competent SWF is not unicorn status. Other than that, I suppose I agree. Survivors clearly needed the second chances, I will admit. Just give them back, this is starting to get pathetic.

How are you only getting 5k a game as a killer main, Aven?

Most people don't suicide, by a large margin.
If you don't sacrifice the other 3 then that match should still lower your rating.
By the way, you seem to be pretty enlightened on information here:
Do we have any statement from the devs that say if a DC affect Killers rating? Or the other survivors in that regard? Will it just be a "tie" between the killer and disconnected survivor, and the other 3 will be evaluated if they gets sacrificed/escapes?
I am fairly certain a disconnect voids that match's mmr gain or loss.
-
You just can't play killer during the day anymore. Night only. It is unfortunate, but that is just how the cookie crumbles.
Please buff survivors and bring back my queues. Give survivors instant dead hard base kit. Whatever needs to happen, cuh.
-
All I am saying is once I went down after a 10 second chase. I was really salty, but I did not give up. I activated Ultra Instinct and ran them for 5 gens after that.
But also sometimes I just go back down in another 10 seconds. Your mileage may vary.

Nuuuuu! Don't destroy my perception that blood hunts are THE time to play offerings, bloody party streamers and cake/flan. :<
They will always be the time I play my offerings. But not now. 1.5 multiplier is garbagio.
-
Because they are bad at the game? How did you not notice DURING the match? You seriously only considered it for end game?

I’m curious..
Has BHVR ever explained why they decided kills and escapes determine ”skill” (for the sake of MMR) rather than the other categories players can pip with?
Because a win is a win. It technically makes more sense than whatever convoluted logic people use to justify their emotional representation of skill in a game with plenty of variables despite being one of the most simplistic games on the market.
-
After 10 minutes, you should be able to forfeit without penalty.
-
The ones that cuck survivors. Lightborn, Iron Grasp and Bamboozle are my absolute favorites. The survivors in my lobbies are not having fun, bro. I literally run over those troll squads.
-
All of them. Why limit myself? But you know, I do play Leatherface and Nemesis a lot more than the others. A lot more. Wraith for challenges, but I hate him. That being said, there are a lot of challenges. So he is still in my top 3.
-
So many survivor mains quit or swapped to killer that they needed to add bots to fill lobbies.
-
You are not wrong. In that middle bubble, the game is extremely well balanced. As you leave towards one end, the game becomes extremely killer or survivor sided. Ain't nobody lying, they are just sharing their personal experience. Okay, well some lie. The people who pretend high end survivor is weak or low end killer are weak are delusional as hell and need to learn the game a bit more before spewing their bile.

I do not blame you, that is a perfectly normal reaction to his presence.

There isn't internal disagreement about Nurse, they just don't want to get yelled at by the community for saying something one side of the argument doesn't like. I'm willing to bet that's the case.
Like, they release their stance, and they're nerfing Nurse. In that scenario, they've pissed off the entire killer community and will get a lot of hate. Let's say they don't need Nurse. Then they've pissed off a good portion of the playerbase as well, and will STILL get a lot of hate.
It's a lose-lose for them.
I doubt it would piss off the entire killer community, just the Nurse mains. Nobody cares when they nerf low tiers like Pig or mid tiers like Slinger. Sure, I would be disturbed by their choice, as usual. But anger? Eh. I expect Sadako nerfs, man. As if they could piss me off at this point.
-
@TeabaggingGhostface said:
If a survivor does the clicky clicky teabag if I'm playing pig, they get the forced headpop (grab the little ######### off the box, walking away and let them wiggle off, following them while crouching as to not pause the timer)
That would just make me click twice as fast, you will need to pull me off a chest instead as I will got and get another flashlight because the battery will be out if you do not stop me. Also, that is my flex. I click at killers regardless of how well I am doing. I am a freaking animal, bro. Can't c me.
-
Well, yes. You got me. I am fine with Nurse nerfs and definitely feel survivor could take another few nerfs. Balance wise.
In terms of what they should do is buff the ever living hell out of survivor so my queue times go back to being instant.
-
My highest survivor is only rank 2 post prestige update. If I get into a lobby with higher prestige survivors, I feel I get focused because of the lower number as it never really happens when multiple people are in that 1-3 range.
I was joking that I needed to pour all my BP into Yun Jin to intimidate the killers into leaving me alone.
As for killer, eh... I feel less bad when I get stomped and at the end game screen it shows a base Oni. It just let's them take far less pride in their victory which is a win for me.
-
Honestly, I wish mmr were tighter so that I would get either slightly better teammates or slightly worse killers. Whatever the case, most of my games are imbalanced. As killer too, but I care less about that because I am actually good at killer.
-
I do not think it, I know it.
-
She used to disgrace survivors by just standing still, so to preserve their egos, survivors convinced the community that Spirit is S tier. And despite the fact that she is now one of the rarest killers to run into, the legacy of their humiliation keeps her a strong S tier. Content creators everywhere agree. Totally the third best killer in the game. And also Artist is the new Nurse.
-
I BM'd this Deathslinger so bad. I chain blinded him raw while clicking so he could keep following me and Neo dodged his shots twice before he just gave up. I would have felt bad if he did not cartoonishly tunnel me earlier because I was not with the 3 man gen rushing SWF. Like, homie got what was coming to him as far as I was concerned. It was my most swag survivor play of all time.
-
I feel like just a flat 10 minute penalty would probably deter the behavior well enough.
-
That Dredge sounds like a Giga Chad. I am sorry you had to be on the receiving end of his masculinity. I hope it did not damage your self esteem too much being compared to such an alpha apex predator.

@NekoGamerX said:
do dev think BP is real money something?
Everyone knows in-game currency is worth more than real world currency.
-
Sure, if they want to gut her add ons, I could care less. Nerfing her base kit JUST because she is the best killer in the game is sussy baka logic.
-
I am Sluzzy tier. I basically never escape. And the few games where I could, where the killer is a baby, I usually give them the kill unless they already got one.
-
@KolbyKolbyKolby said:
Tier 48, haven't been playing as much as I normally do, but far enough to not have to worry. I just want Mikaela's shirt even though a Hecate greek skin should've gone to Plague....
Really? I am only around halfway doing all the challenges except Jonah ones and I feel like I have been playing way too much. This grind is such pain.
-
That would make sense... In a competitive game.
-
Nemesis has been popular since his release to be honest. I see him way more than whatever the flavor of the month killers are that people cry about. I guess it is Oni now because they can't abuse vaulting against without getting wrecked. I have not seen him, however. And I have been mostly surviving since the update.
-
I would not play Pig if you want to do well. I just troll with her and follow the person with a trap on their head until it pops. AFK Pig used to be the meta before it got removed because it was too powerful for survivors to figure out.
-
Because it is not even close to gamebreaking.
-
@TheArbiter said:
Also the bloodpoint bonus which would help correct which side had less players is killswitched
Pretty much just this to be perfectly honest. I wish they just kept the bugged version, it would be more fun for everyone.

I play overwatch and its literally the best feature in the game. Even if you put a max amount on blocks, it will be better.
I meant the OG block. You are talking about the avoid system. That could definitely work here if they limited the number, as Overwatch does. I would be fine with that, I suppose.
-
If THIS was enough to go from loving the game to not wanting to play it, I honestly believe you were lying to yourself and you should be thanking the patch for allowing you to come to your senses and move on. The game BARELY changed, bro. These were minimalist meta shifts.
-
Nah, toO exploitable for the reasons you stated. Idea is not even good enough to be dead on arrival... Unless you are Overwatch developers. Those fools actually tried it for about a week before going, "oh, so that is why no competent developer has ever done this?"
-
Probably Nemesis, I love the zombies; which I call Jack and Sally, yes... It is a Nightmare Before Christmas reference. They add a lot to the standard M1 game-play loop in my opinion. At least when they work. My favorite is the tech where you can use them to reset wiggle progress.
I also feel the tentacle of desire and passion is a great tool that shuts down most of what survivors tend to want to do... Drop pallets and vault windows. I also love the sense of progression where the tentacle is useless and limp at stage 1, and gets progressively more potent as you reach the climax.
His sound design is also unparalleled. Best chase music (for now) and the bass boots when he drops, it does a great job of making you feel powerful. And also he gets to punch survivor mains in the face. I am extremely jealous that he was granted such an opportunity.
-
It depends. If the killer is "face camping" the slug, you just wait out the timer (ideally by locker jumping) assuming you want a shot at hatch. If the killer is searching, the slug needs to crawl as far away from where they got downed as humanly possible WITHOUT crawling towards the person who hypothetically needs to pick up. So many survivors accidentally give away their potential savior by crawling towards them while I proxy camp the slug.
I do not have the patience for that as a survivor, so I usually go for the pick up and Yolo.
-
I have. That place is broken with quick and quiet. They have no idea which one to check and become self conscious about Head On. I actually had one dedicated killer go down the row, he checked around 4 of them before giving up. I was just curious if he would check all or start thinking I never entered one to begin with, so I took the risk and stayed put. Pretty gnarly.
-
I totally believe you, man. You used to be hard against DC and now they are just heroic vigilantes. Cool story.

Survivors biggest enemy: other survivors
No, it is the killer's fault my teammates are bad.
I actually asked one of them why he was blaming me for his teammates mistakes and he just said the Leon, his friend, was new and asked me if my home life is going okay or if my father left "again." Like, again? What kind of fantasy scenario is this?
Hypothetically daddy left, I was devastated. Mentally broken. But then he came back one day. My happiness restored, I eleven hook and give hatch to the last remaining survivor until that fateful day... He left again. And to retaliate... I tunneled him in DBD? These people should write Hollywood movies, bro.
-
It has happened to me twice, no penalty. I fixed my internet after Anniversary as before it would kick me and I would get the penalty (but keep challenge progress). Now I do not keep challenge progress, but I also do not get a penalty. I assume it is server side and perhaps not as many survivors as rage quitting as people imply.

They do. Since he is bugged now for months and it got famous for few weeks now and Devs just let it slide for some reason.
Oh, yes, I run into so many Oni now that he gets some extra blood orbs and an Attack on Titan skin. Almost every game I see him. Oni here, Oni there, Oni everywhere. My strong Oni-chan is dominating the meta 💪. I am actually getting bored of playing against him, there can be too much of a good thing.
Just kidding. I have not played one in weeks.
-
Oh, you know, they improved the grind. So now you just need to prestige the character instead of leveling them to their teachable. #improved

Absolutely not reportable, I can’t even begin to comprehend how you think it would be. Nemesis players don’t get to choose zombie pathing and them getting stuck, and most of the time it is detrimental to the killer.
You cannot comprehend why a survivor main would take literally the smallest obstacle as a reportable offense? Really? Do you have communications turned off and never watch any other content creator or something. If anything, THIS guy at least has A reason.

I saw Otzdarva disconnect from a match a week or two ago and he had to wait out the 5 minute penalty. Even if there isn't meant to be a penalty, be careful of trusting anything Tru3 says in general.
The Tofu clip was only from about 2 or 3 days ago. I can't remember, but it was very recent. It is possible this whitelist did not exist 2 weeks ago. That being said, True's opinions on the game are mostly objective. I just wouldn't trust him with his weird cryptocurrency obsession. He does have a pretty decent track record for DbD in particular. I know survivor mains hate him, but facts are facts. They wouldn't hate him if he was always wrong. Lol.

There is no, and was never, such thing as 'mastering nurse', she is not a difficult killer to play, simple as that
I have honestly only seen one Nurse that impressed me to the point where I FINALLY understood why survivors are so salty about Nurse. That being said, most of the people I have seen were very beatable. No idea how such average players are consistently going against God tier Nurse.
-
You know how it is. From how survivors acted when I was a killer one trick, I knew what I was getting into. I never expected anything from them and therefore they have never disappointed me. I hope they buff the hell out of survivor so that the queues can be instant even during the day.

I must be squarely in the middle because I get a few really tough games, a few really easy games, but the majority are fairly balanced.
I have a similar experience. However, instead of the majority being balanced; they are so free I can respond to salty survivors on PSN while eating ice cream and still 4k with ease or so difficult that I lose in literally 3 minutes.
