Finally, an extra perk slot for monstrous shrine. Those survivors aren't ready for the hell im about to bring.
I unironically would bring it if I had 5 slots, not even joking.

The wittle tentacle is far superior to the punishment of the damned. It doesn't just disappear, it is not as telegraphed, you can land it outside of animation locks on survivors that aren't Helen Keller. And it actually breaks pallets (and walls).
He would still be a better Pyramid Head without zombies. Pyramid Head is just good to counter DS, and half the people who think he is better than Nemesis pretend DS isn't broken. So, like, I ain't even know what that is about. Never will.

Asymetrical doesnt mean unbalanced in regarda of game balance but ok
You know DBD is just THAT wack when people start seeing asymmetrical as a lost cause period. Rofl.
-
I use Leatherface as a crutch, not going to lie. He just makes a lot of situations that would be difficult to deal with as any other killer a lot easier.
-
I believe they said they could balance him still. Just they magically can't reskin the map.

Hiding in lockers is not an objective UNLESS you are going for a stun with Head On, using it to heal yourself with Inner Strength, using it with the perk Red Herring, or using it to craft a Flash Bang. Hiding in lockers is a tactic to avoid BBQ & Chili.
As a Nancy one trick, lockers might as well be objectives. I spend more time in them than on gens!

I love playing with my sister, but it can be frustrating if one of us gets tunneled. We basically have to throw the game so the other isn't just sitting there waiting for x minutes. So in that regard, sometimes it is nice to play solo to just move on to the next one faster. But I generally prefer playing with her than without her.
-
It is the counterplay, especially to Pinhead who control the 4v1. Just make sure to activate chain hunt before picking up someone, basically.
-
And I am sad it will be gone forever.
-
Can we just nerf her instead?
-

If you ever felt frustration or anger for being camped by a killer, and possibly tunneled to death, then you'd know the answer to that question. Sure other survivors can do gens. but what are you going to do? Spectate. That's it. I didnt log in to the game just to spectate other players.
That is what my Slippery meat is for. I am not going to sit there for two minutes so they can play a qte simulator. We Yolo, or we die.
-
I stay sane by not caring what a survivor main thinks about my performance, if they care that much, that is their prerogative. I am just playing a game and I have fun in ways that are beyond their understanding. Just like I cannot comprehend how they have any fun being "toxic." That is their business.

Why teabag is insulting you lol. Just swing at them so they run away.
I teabag only shitheads who tunnel hardly or simply facecamp because "gen rush" where they simoly cant add pressure to survivors
I mean... You wouldn't do it unless you thought it was insulting. So, I guess I have to ask, why do you do it? Just to make yourself feel better?
-
It depends on the killer. With low mmr? I can actually probably run them for a few gens.
-
We would probably need to reduce the number of necessary gens to complete to 3 or 4 to compensate. But I generally like the idea, it would make the game more engaging and less qte simulator.
-
No. I would prefer you just choose the totem location if you so desired, and maybe make it so you can transfer your hex to any dull as a result of it. So it randomly spawns, but if you dislike the hex, you can manually walk up to it and switch it like how Demogorgon teleports.

Bubba is the king of slugging, and from him comes Knock Out. Billy also.
But Ive been preferring slug-play with Wraith.
Perks vary in selection (Knock Out ofc, and mostly detection perks to chain slugs), but it helps to have Wraiths mobility and lack of Terror radius to pressure across the map and to rapidly return to re-slug those that are picked up, unnannounced.
Forget hooks and gens entirely.
Just focus on slugging everything that moves upright.
It plays havoc on Survivors that expect hook based play, and the time you save to exert pressure from not carrying to hooks starts adding up/paying out, as does their bleeding.
Bubba is such a chad. Slugging, facecamping... Is there anything he can't do?All the survivors come to his basement, that is all I can say. Certified lady killer.
-
A SWF without clicking and gg ez is not a SWF at all. You would never fit in old man.
-
I do not find him particularly fun to play against myself. He is not unfun, per se. But I do not get anything from it.
-
It is my favorite filler perk. If there are no flashlights, I run Lethal. If they have flashlights, I run Lightborn.

People are complaining and giving criticism on the stuff that actually went wrong with the RE chapter:
The map
Jills buggy face
The cosmetics sets
performance issues that got to a whole new level with this chapter
Zombie AI
That is not a bug, they redesigned her face in the remake.

But what do you want done? I honestly do not even know what the problem is. Lol.

That is a very valid question yet at the wrong address.
It's not bhvr who decides whether or not you should pay for playstation plus, but sony is. 😉
Is it? Some games do not require Playstation Plus. I doubt it is by the grace of Sony. Especially when some games get free weekends that do not require it. Pretty sure the game developers decide whether they want a slice of that pie. And most do.

I am still holding out hope that they are just keeping a Hawkins reskin a surprise... I just cannot believe competent developers would accept losing all that work for what? Just because. It doesn't add up.

It sucks. There's not a nice way to put it. It absolutely, positively, sucks.
Solo Queue has the deck stacked against you as it is and with this new system, I need to survive with potato teammates but it is INCREDIBLY difficult to survive with potato teammates. So I keep staying where I'm at where I need to survive IN SPITE of my teammates because I have such a hard time surviving.
I am consistently outscoring my own team, even when I've died and the hiding potato has survived but in the eyes of the game, I'M the potato. Which puts me with more potatoes that get me killed. Which makes me play with potatoes because the game thinks I'm a potato. Which puts me with more...
Absolutely frustrating and is making me reconsider playing the game period anymore...
The short version of this would have just been "elo hell." But I feel you, fam.
-
If you think undetectable status that you can cleanse makes her OP, this is hardly the first time you pondered Pig nerfs.
-
Nah, survivor mains would never. They are really nice people who play well. You have nothing to worry about whatsoever.
-
I do not think these people realize that mmr was created more or less to segregate competitive players from casual players. And it is clearly working given all the complaints. It was basically designed specifically so newer and average players didn't have to deal with them anymore. No kap.
-
I feel like the people pretending this would be a nerf to killer are secret spy survivor mains...
This would be nothing short of a massive buff.
-
Imagine being high mmr and not running unbreakable. Survivors who don't run unbreakable should be put against easier killers.
-
@Zozzy said:
but.. but i remember people saying killer is EZ and they never lose before they added the SBMM in the game. Where are they now and why are so many complaining ?
Good question. So strange to see all those top killers not enjoying the new system to challenge them to greater heights. The game is not at all survivor favored, so I wonder what their struggle seems to be.
-
All 4 on Basement Hooks at the same time. It is hard without one of them dying too fast.
-
I would prefer something else to experience the story, such as a visual novel.

This is due to the new hit validation. The blood and sound effects are activated when you hit the survivor on your side, while the injuring action are activated when you hit on the servers side. I wish they could change it so its more consistent but its better than getting hit even though you dropped the pallet on time.
It was more consistent before as if you wanted to avoid it as a survivor, you would just predrop instead of camping a pallet... Otherwise you risk the trade. And good survivors never dropped when they knew they were getting hit.

You're ignoring the fact that shadowstep also hides auras so you can bless a totem next to a gen and you can just keep working on it not worrying about bbq or other aura reading perks. also a 16 second heal without a medkit is huge and a 8 second heal is even better. Also you say noed had no conditions.... even though their conditions is letting the game progress to end game or by my standards, running most of the trail 3 perked for a reward in a possible power spike.
And oddly enough, with boon totems, there is now another activation condition. No boons can be lit if there isn't a free dull. Boon perks are added counterplay to NOED if you ask me. They make it worth the survivors time to set them up as far as I am concerned.
-
I love going into tantrum state as Leatherface. I sometimes try to down people or destroy pallets with it. I also love chasing them at the exit gates and bumping the invisible wall as an Easter Egg to the ending of Texas Chainsaw Massacre. And with the new outfit, we now look the part.

Giving up and getting a cup of tea seems quite popular, based on my unofficial polling of two people.
Make that three; however, I am American. So you know, a cup of tea? Nah. A can of Brisk. Oh yeah!
-
Leatherface. I always thought that I would play ranged killers as I am horrible with melee in every game I have ever played. I also love pissing people off. I was a Widow one trick for a long time in Overwatch specifically to make my team hate me as much as the enemy did.
But with no team in Dead by Daylight, I had to come up with something different. And after reading a few dozen camp and tunnel threads, one beautiful man kept getting mentioned over and over again. It was time to learn the art of basement with a build capable of destroying all survivor fun.
And with his Pretty Lady skin, well, I have been just one tricking him outside of daily missions and the odd Nemesis game here and there. I love him so much.

Don't forget:
Survivors being able to 99% every gen on the map because the Killer had no ability to kick gens.
Survivors being able to permanently break every hook on the map outside of the basement, along with permanently breaking all of the Trapper's traps.
Practically every match ending in a 4-man slug bleedout because that was the only way a Killer could win a match.
Anyone who thinks this game is currently in a terrible state needs to search YouTube for "DbD 2016" and watch some old videos to see how bad it was.
Those were the good old days before the game became so killer favored.

No survivor is too good for Leatherface. That is all I can say. Bloodlust 3 them if I must, they are coming to my basement one way, or the other.

If a map is so hated that it gets banned all the time, there might be a reason why this is and we should be happy we actually have a way to get rid of it. Who cares if one person misses it if everybody else is happy?
Hopefully the developers care to ignore childish pleas from people who get outraged by a map. But then again, we aren't getting Hawkins reskinned, so, I wouldn't bet on it. We might totally get tons of maps removed in the future. Why not?

Asymmetry is not balance. That's the point of it.
No, it is not. That might be the point of DBD. I wouldn't know, but you can have a balanced asymmetrical game.
-
I guess making her movement speed normal as surely the reason they gimped it was specifically because she was so very oppressive while walking at a standard speed.
-
@TacitusKilgore said:
Fixated. People really underestimate how useful it is to be able to walk at nearly sprinting speed, plus you look a lot less stupid than you would with urban. Seeing your own scratchmarks is also surprisingly useful, it tells me where the killer is going to be looking for when i break the chase, then i can just fast-walk away and get to safety. Its an extremely useful perk.
If not fixated then prove thyself. Love that perk.
It moves at nearly sprint speed?
-
Um... Balance is balance? That has nothing to do with asymmetry. Unless their goal was for asymmetrical balance which, well, congratulations.
