Something kind of stupid I realised with the new MMR system
If survivors are given an MMR adjustment based on who died 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th doesnt that mean in the case of 4 man slugs it will usually be the played that lastest the longest against the killer who loses the most MMR. Say its a Nurse and 10 seconds in 1 teammates is down, 15 seconds and the 2nd one goes down another 10 seconds an the 3rd person is downed you then manage to run the Nurse for another 1 minute 30 seconds. Most people would just pick up the closest survivor and considering you are the last person downed you will almost always be picked up first and the person who got downed first will be the furthest and probably end up being picked up last. So even though most people would say if you can run a Nurse for 55 seconds longer than 3 of your teammates combined you are the best on that team but because you ran her for so long you get hooked first leading to you losing the most MMR.
In generall the whole MMR system is dumb htis is just something I havent seen people address.

I did not read it but only the last line..
"In generall the whole MMR system is dumb.."
so i agree with you.
That's actually hilarious, I've not thought of that. But what can we do, as the Lead Dev said - There's just too much nuance to make an effective system!
That's what happens when you make a MMR based on a series of "1v1s" instead of a 4v1.
Imagine being high mmr and not running unbreakable. Survivors who don't run unbreakable should be put against easier killers.
There's just too much nuance to make an effective system!
THEN DONT POUR EFFORT INTO A SYSTEM YOU KNOW IS GONNA BE INEFFECTIVE.
Won't someone think of the casuals....the casuals😱🤣
