The main thing I see in every match is that survivors go down way too fast in trial after trial. Maps are overnerfed and most survivors have no defenses to stay in a chase long enough for others to even finish gens. People getting hit through vaults and through pallets. And then you have slowdown perks on top of that and it exacerbates the problem.
Killers have no respect for decisive strike because it is so weak, it needs buffing. The hook timer can slow down if the killer is proxy camping. Revert the hatch nerf so survivors are somewhat rewarded for finishing some of the gens. That's a few of the things I can think of.
Sounds to me like you need some better teammates I'm almost tempted to invite you after I'm off work just to show you how broken survivor can be
-
I would shorten the fatigue time and I would make it to where she can blink through the hills on any map that has one, for those of you who don't know the nurse can't blink through those big hills in the maps she has to blink on top of it then to the other side of it

Out of the last 10 matches I played between yesterday and today, can we guess how many times solo survivor won? One. That is about 10%. That is reoccurring. I am experienced, fully perked and my teammates are also fully perked and seems to be experienced. They are not crouch walkers.
Do something immediately BHVR before your game spirals out of control. The game is completely broken in favor of killer unless it is a 4man SWF that is actually really good.
Camping and tunneling is in a majority of matches and survivors can't win in those scenarios. Stacking slowdown perks is too oppressive. If the dev update does not contain important killer nerfs and massive survivor buffs, it may be time I finally quit along with a majority of others.
Killer is too easy and survivor is atrociously difficult (impossible).
I'm genuinely curious, what would you do to fix it?

Yeah,it depend just how good the game it competes with are.
What I'm saying is BHVR could totally shut this game down tomorrow and they've still made enough money to not care, the fact that it's going six years strong says alot, how many other games do you know that have survived this long and continue to add updates and new content? There are some that have done it but there's very few and the ones you can name are insanely successful games like GTA and Fortnite

So I have had this problem for a while where when I hot a survivor who jas just been unhooked does not go down. The survivor did not get any white auro or anuthing, nor the the survivor who unhooked the other one had borrowed te.
What is this bullcrap?
Well if you hit them too early they have an iframe when they first get unhooked to prevent campers immediately hitting them down before they have a chance to move, so if that's what's affecting you then I suggest not camping as much or if you're going to anyway wait till theyre fully done with the animation before you swing

If they bring in Loomis my only requirement is that it's Donald Pleasance and not the new loomis

BHVR would laugh all the way to the bank regardless because theyve been making profit for 6 years now before any true competition has came along

I'm a Nurse main, 19k blink attacks and counting (I've been called a "God" Nurse, which is something that as far as I'm concerned means "lucky" or "having a good day").
I'm regularly watching Supaalf play, among others.
I've watched the BOTB.
There are no "Gods". The concept only exists in the eyes of those who were vastly outmatched by an opponent they don't understand well enough. (Kind of the principle of a god when you think about it)
I know however what a very good Nurse looks like. They can be countered, it's just not as easy as, say, a simple M1 killer. Then again playing a Nurse isn't as easy as playing said M1 killer either. (And there we go back at her having the lowest kill rate from the roster and the cycle starts again ...).
I know I'll not be able to have long chases against every Nurse (especially the ones that are better than me) but how is that a problem? I don't expect to win against better players. I however expect to improve versing them, and I believe I do.
In my games, I get one over maybe ten Nurses able to put me in trouble, and usually only because the team sucks (solo queue, my teammates aren't playing anymore). The other Nurses get usually tea-bagged at the doors by the immature crowd I'm grouped with.
I'm not denying your ability with her I'm a nurse main and I know she can be countered I've faced SupaAlf in pubs probably about 5-6 times I escaped 2 times because he was trying to do the afk end game builds for his channel but the other times I lost and I'm not blaming the other survivors but as a team we weren't coordinated because it was solo whether they were skillful or not is another thing I don't know them so I won't judge, but against top tier nurse players only a strong team will survive you can't have throwing and uncoordinated plays or else you're gonna be playing glow worm simulator and alot of the players that play this game just aren't good and throw so unless you're a swf or a good group of solos against a good nurse it's a gg

No, only the ones who have put the effort to learn something else than the hold-W, DH, pallet sequence.
I'm not a very good survivor and I hold my own against her. Better than against other killers actually. Because I know how she works and her weaknesses.
The fact she has, globally, the lowest kill rate of all killers also says something about that.
If you're not a good survivor like you claim you've probably never encountered a true God nurse I promise you you'll change your tune about all that once you play against one, even the best nurse can be countered though its a skill vs skill situation, either you're really good with her or you're terrible there's almost no gray area with nurse and the majority of people who play her throw her away immediately because of the learning curve and having to keep up with information in every match about how each survivor runs , do they double back or hold w etc...

It's not that my console system is bad, in fact my series X has more power than my pc (I'm not a huge pc player just have it for PTB, other games etc.) So I do feel it's down to the actual input. It's a shame because the stuff I can actually do on my PC is pretty nutty, wish I could do it on console and I'm sure many other console players do
If they could somehow lift the sensitivity another 100 percent then you would probably be able to do anything the same once you figured button timings out, and if someone didn't want their sensitivity that high they could just lower it in the menu but other than that I can't think of another way they would fix it

-
It's the controller that causes this, it's not that they make PC better on purpose but with the way the controls work on keyboard and mouse you're gonna undeniably have a big sensitivity advantage and that's more on the console manufacturer for having a limitation like that to their controller, but at the same time PC runs the game smoother I could take the same controller I play on console with and hook it to PC and it will still give me a slight sensitivity advantage, the hardware is just that much better on a gaming PC that sensitivity and frames run smoother, not to mention most of the blight players that do what you're saying have a DPI mouse on top of that

STOP MAKING EXCUSES.
BHVR needs to just add the bots that take over for the player that DC and give them at least a ten minute ban and if you DC 3 times in a day you should get a 24 hr ban

MMR is just a placebo so that way people don't riot when they're at the lowest rank and get match with people that are red or gold, in the old days people would lose their ######### over it and they tested this "new matchmaking" and the results were all over the board and the endgame was a like a rainbow with ranks and people were pissed, so in order to alleviate the problem they said they were making SBMM so ranks wouldn't matter anymore but in reality they just kept the same "new matchmaking" and found a way to make everyone shut up about mismatches and clearly unfair matches when like a 10,000 hour survivor group faces a killer with like 20 hours in the game, if anything rank is probably a closer indicator to skill than the matchmaking because of the MMR cap being so easy to reach , win 3 games in a row? You're probably at max MMR at that point
-
I would be out if they gutted nurse I've mained her since she dropped, I took the hazing and mastered her she's literally one of the few killers that allows you to compete with even the best in the game they would be making a huge mistake if they did that.

Really? We're going there? I've been playing the game for a few years at this point. I've got 2000+ hours. I play both sides at a high level, every day. I'd play it all day if I could. I've given my thoughts and suggestions on here, on content creator videos, and my own videos. I'm about as good as I can be with survivor and with almost every killer, as I have to settle with console controls. I've turned 1Ks into 3Ks, through skill and determination alone. My escape rate is subpar only because I'm consistently given the lousiest band of teammates in the whole playerbase. The direction the game has gone in hasn't even exceeded my lowest expectations. I'm tired of being gaslighted by the devs and this community.
It's one thing to have negative feedback that's deserved it's a whole nother thing to be on every other thread dogging how unplayable killer is at all times of the day to the point I can't even click on a thread without seeing you crying in some way shape or form about killer in there and sometimes when that's not even the subject, Ive ignored it for a while but I decided to say something because I truly don't understand how someone could hate a game and find it that unenjoyable as you talk in your posts but yet you're here ? Why play if it bothers you that much? , even though I may disagree with some of your opinions in threads we do agree on certain things and everyone deserves their opinion so I'm not hating on that but it just feels like you're blowing it out of proportion and over exaggerating I guess is the most straight forward way to say it.

Honestly blame the map balance team. They feel like having 20 pallets a map is balanced. So why would i need to learn to loop (keep in mind i do know how to loop but for the sake of this argument i dont) when i can predrop pallet to slow you down while i take you across the map
It's really not even pallets that are the issue, it's the interlinked tiles that spawn things like a long wall jungle gym outside of shack with the window facing the shack window which happens on crotus prenn sometimes at the asylum, but it's the bullshittery of tile spawns that make the pallets seem like a issue because if I've got an unsafe pallet with a window nearby you best believe I'm not dropping that pallet unless I have to and I'll keep linking different tiles together running 2 at once in a sense and it shouldn't be possible to link 3 different loops together safely but I can at maps like suffocation pit whenever two TL Walls spawn back to back with a jungle gym right beside one them it's basically an infinite against certain killers if you run it right

Believe it or not this game used to be a horror game not a tag simmulator. Survivors we meant to actually fear encountering the killer and had to hide and scurry instead of killers being the party clown/stage hazard that they are now.
You weren't even here for the old DBD if you say that, recovering exhaustion while running, true instaheals, the old BNP, sabo made the hooks permanently gone and trappers traps ( which is why you can't sabo traps now), insta blind flashlights, keys, double pallet gyms, infinite windows etc... There's absolutely no way you can pretend like killers were feared back then.

Why do you even play the game if you only have negative thoughts about it? That can't be healthy I mean I see your tears on almost every other page on here maybe if you played the game even half as much as you were on here you wouldn't be getting ######### on all the time when you play killer
-
Didn't you know? The more you tbag after every pallet stun and every missed swing at a window vault, The faster you run. Never forget to click either it's a crucial part of activating your running shoes to max power
-
As a 50/50 player it's really both sides doing this people cry too much and the game is balanced around the lower skilled players, which is why you see nerf Noed and camping and other noob threads on here, people want to pretend like every game is a try hard death squad but in reality most of the player base isn't that good and you can easily still compete as a lower tier killer because of that but I won't deny that against good survivors there are quite a few killers who can't really compete and are forced into a camping or tunneling situation just to stay in the game
-
I'd say old Billy and the old sabo where you could 99 the hooks , the old ds was just ridiculous you would run the killer for 3 gens and then use DS and run them the rest of the match and there was no way around it other than basketball dribbling a survivor to a hook lol the old ds is a hard no for me

It's latency but also the huntress hatchet hitbox is the same size as a generator so it's like having a generator thrown at you everytime but if it wasn't like that it wouldn't work at all because of latency it would look off on the killers screen which would be crucial

It's not mathematically impossible, my dude. Healthy survivors take longer to go down than injured ones, that should be obvious. Doesn't matter if you can hold your own while injured, you'd still take longer to go down if you were healthy in the first place.
Add up healing and gen speeds and then rethink what you're saying the math doesn't add up because someone who focuses gens will always get done faster and good survivors can stay injured and still run the killer well , sure you can keep resetting but meanwhile someone else is carrying the load while you're doing that if you'd just split on gens instead of heal you could pop 2-3 gens for each chase and the killer only ends the game with 1-3 hooks instead of resetting every time, but like I said in certain situations it can be strong but it will never make the gens faster it only helps for people who go down quick in chases to stay up longer for gens to pop but for a good survivor they're giving the killer the run anyway injured or not
-
@[Deleted User] said:
I think your bad take on CoH was already answered enough, but you know people back then could just bring keys with them in the lobby you know? They didn't even need to fear Franklins because last second switch is still a thing. Chests were never useful as a secondary objective because it's always better to just... bring an item with you.
In the long run CoH actually helps in making gen speed faster for survivors. Whenever it is in play the killer can't split pressure, which means having to commit too much in chases, which also means survivors taking longer to go down = more efficiency from teammates.
Gens can't go faster with circle of healing that's mathematically impossible because survivors who focus gens will always end the game before those who use circle of healing consistently it's only better for survivors who can't run injured because they go down fast basically circle of healing makes bad survivors slightly better but does nothing for a good survivor who is more concerned with escaping unless they're using it to save someone endgame and reset the whole team, I guess at the end of the day though it all depends on how you use it I won't deny in certain situations COH can be very strong but overall I think it's a mediocre perk for survivors who aren't good at running killers
-

Then you are the facing the bad Survivors.
No one in their right mind would bless a Totem next to an unfinished Generator, unless they want to lose the game. The Survivors that know how strong CoH bless a Totem on the outskirts of the map, guaranteeing that snuffing the Boon Totem would be a net los for the Killer.
Combine CoH with Dead Hard on good Survivors and you got yourself and almost unwinnable game with any Killer other than Nurse and Blight
Well I main as nurse so maybe that's why I don't see an issue, for me if COH is in play it's a gg I know I'm gonna win the match because I can apply the pressure faster than they can gather up to reset, by all means I don't think every group I face is a god squad but I know theyre competent at the game, I run into coconut , rapid main , and cope like once every few weeks so I mean telling me I get bad players obviously isn't the answer but now that you know that you should understand why I would rather have a gen rushing adrenaline build than a COH squad thats more focused on staying healthy than doing the objectives, if you have weak links against good killers than you're going to lose all it takes is for them to realize one survivor can't stay up in a chase and you're going to be in a 3 v 1 situation quick
-
I agree with you, only bad survivors run that junk and it doesn't help in the long run anyway you're just stalling the game out because totems and gens spawn close to each other most of the time and any killer that plays normally at an average level will eventually see the totem checking gens and snuff it so lets say it has to be relit twice in a game and survivors are constantly healing instead of doing gens because they can't run the killer well and need that extra hit, I mean right there you've probably tacked at least five minutes on to the match because of the relighting, healing and traversing the map everytime to go heal in the boon area and if the killer has any sort of gen regression on and survivors play like that it's at least a 15 minute match if they all dont die first , rushing gens with adrenaline will always be stronger than circle of healing.

I'm not saying there wouldn't be people crying about other perks; however, the difference is other perks won't take months to a year to rework, which Dead Hard has openly been stated will.
Everything takes years to rework with this company just look at how many years it took for them to do something about old decisive strike, they haven't changed dead hard yet because they're making a whole new perk for it instead , what they've stated is it will be completely different from the ground up

A scary buff would be a survivor can only use a TV that’s on. If the TV they want to use is already off they can’t use it until it turns back on.
All she really needs is for a slight speed boost coming out of manifest and for the condemn to fill up faster because right now I could go an entire match without even thinking about a video tape
-
The truth is it wouldn't matter you can sit here and pretend like there won't be any complaints but I'll guarantee in the first week a new perk of problem will pop up, people cry about everything they can and this will never change.

Base kit and no add ONS I'd say legion, his power is literally borrowed time and to top it off he's so weak he can't even camp efficiently even if you wanted to play that tactic

It's a marketing tactic from Sony to make you have to buy the new controller, they know it's cheap and that they're gonna tear up but you have to buy their controller for it to work with a PS5 so they've got you either way

None of which has any relevance to whether or not COH is OP.
You have a playstyle you prefer and its highly efficient, great. Not everyone is gonna play like that and thank god or the game would be more dull than it currently is. COH does a little too much to reset hit and run playstyles and lessen the variety of games, its is generally a bad perk as a result.
You don't need to run it but its so easy to heal up if you do that healing is a no brainer if you have it.
Being injured should be threatening but its really not and that's a shame.
Well that's fine we can agree to disagree, you want it removed because it's strong , I want it removed because bots who can't use it correctly waste too much time off gens, against really good killers that try to snowball COH will make you lose but against the average player I'll admit it's not a race against time in those games

Surprisingly, I often go for a 4-slug (not planned, just simply snowballing) and I seldom get complains.
The exception is when I get the team down during the first two minutes of the game (but usually the alternative when this happens involves to play hide and seek for ages : never again)
I get alot of complaints when I play that way, I run infectious fright and if everyone's there I will always try to see how fast I can get them all but I won't just blindly try to go slugging if nobody is visibly around me

It speaks volumes about player mindset when healing time is to much to distract you from gens. Survivor isn't that time crunched that gens need to be smashed out in under 4mins, but that's the mindset that players go in with.
Its maybe 1 game in 10 where the killer is applying enough pressure to mean healing is wasted time. Its typically far better to reset and smash out the last two gens then it is to stay injured and risk a snowball to solely focus on gens.
These are the players who get caught out by NOED etc because rather than spending a few seconds to focus on secondary tasks like healing and totems they have this idea that completing gens in 4mins is the be all and end all of the game.
I'm afraid its just not that time crunched for survivor that healing with COH stalls the game so much to use up all the pallets. That's just players who waste too many pallets.
The party wide ability to reset wounds solo at increased pace is just too easy a mechanic not to exploit and at the same time it resets the pressure of being wounded, when compared to the sunk cost of getting those wounds its a no brainer. Unless you are so gen focused that you are missing every other part of the game, even the good map sense to avoid wasting pallets.
When you're playing solo you can't control who throws a pallet and how quick they decide to drop it at a loop, also you don't know if they're on gens or not in that scenario the only sure fire way to get the gens done is to do them, I personally use windows more than pallets and will take a hit rather than drop certain pallets and just gain distance to the next loop, and with the killer meta being Deadman switch and scourge you really can't waste alot of time against top tier killers and if you're not doing gens and you're healing instead you will 100 percent lose because it's a time waster, why would you turn a 5 minute match into a 10 or 15 min minute match? That lessens your chances of surviving easily, I'd rather work and loop injured with adrenaline in my back pocket
-
Idk if it's a bug but when I play her and use manifest I get a speed boost out of it kinda like wraith, ive been using it at loops and getting some easy downs from the boost it seems survivors either don't expect it or don't know she can do that
