Unfortunately, that's part of the game now. Even though it's formally "bannable", not a single soul has ever been banned for sandbagging or cooperating with the killer, and the in-game report system is a placebo. You can fix bodyblocking by removing collision, but how do you fix survivors leading the killer to you in the end-game so that they can have the hatch, for example? Trolling has become an inseparable part of the game now, and you can't do anything with it.
Lol.
You have irrefutable evidence of your claims?!

Windows of Opportunity is definitely going to help you.

It was already super annoying in it's original state. Then it was made even more annoying by making the item disappear ok you at least have chance to get it back but now, when you get hit, the item is instantly useless. What even was the reasoning behind both of these changes? Just make already powerful perk more annoying to play against? Yeah that's going to be fun.
You should AT LEAST get all charges back instantly and killer should be stunned for 30s whenever they hit you with franklins to make it fair.
It’s not powerful at all. No item is required to finish gens and open a gate. Stop letting Franklin’s psyche you out. That’s all the perks job is.

I've been using smash hit lately. It's so fun, but really difficult to use sometimes because killers respect pallets.
I’ve been experimenting with it, and I feel the same as you about difficulty. However a successful stun and sprint feels good.

Here it is July 25th, and for the first time ever I finally get the new map, and what a shock the game crashes. The map was deactivated for weeks, and even when it was reactivated, the chances of getting it were slim to none. Despite all the harsh criticism the new map has been getting, I was excited to finally experience it for myself, so why am I not surprised that it's still not working properly even after the event has passed us by? 🤦 BHVR should be embarrassed because this is ridiculous.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/M59X930TSIP5/img-20210725-183229-01.jpg
They never made any false claims that the map was fixed though. They’ve repeatedly warned that crashes on RCPD are still expected. They only reactivated the map in cautious optimism that the volume of crashes should have been reduced.
I understand your disappointment. But to lash out at something the devs already made crystal clear is a little bit on the nose.
-
Yeah I don’t often use exhaustion perks. I only use Dead Hard if I’m using No Mither, and even then I’ll often run No Mither without Dead Hard.

That Spot has to go to No Mither.
Then you don’t understand No Mither.
-
It’s the most outdated perk out of all of them. The devs have previously acknowledged quite a long time ago now that it needs buffs or reworks, just that they’re unsure what to actually do with it because something affecting sacrifice time could potentially become broken or exploitable.

1 purple fog offering is the maximum you can bring.
You used to be able to stack 2 for a noticeable effect.
-
Demo is very versatile and can be played many ways. I personally play him like a trap killer by tricking survivors into closing portals I’m almost certain they’ll return to once I teleport through one.

Could be but graphically updating all maps and character models isn’t exactly helping tbh
Hopefully their planned transition to an entirely new engine helps. It would be totally wicked one day if they could add volumetric fog like seen in Returnal. The fog in that game is damn cool, and physically reacts to everything passing through it.
-
@Phasmamain said:
Fog basically doesn’t exist anymore which is a shame. I stacked 2 purple ones last night and it barely did anything
Yeah, I think it’s one of their minor attempts at easing the burden on performance on some platforms.
-
Oddly for me it’s Myers. Probably because I spent the event levelling him from Lv 40 to level 50 with every perk up to T3.

This will be the last time I will talk about this, but I had talked about the director of the game following an actress from the cast of the Chucky series, this time. The responsible company who directs the project of the new Chucky series, follows the account of Dead by Daylight, honestly this surely is not a coincidence since the directors of the game mentioned that many famous companies want to make a collaboration with Behavior to promote their product, because this company is linked to the Chucky series (Maybe Crypt TV I'm not very sure) If the Candyman chapter is fulfilled and the theories are true, it is probably that this will be fulfilled and perhaps it will give me the fame of being a prophet or leaker like Daniel Richtman lol.
This is just way too obtuse to be seen as a potential clue.

Blindness in general on most indoor maps is very strong, even against SWF. Third Seal on Lery’s is golden.
-
Lol 🤣
Many here really underestimate the power of information.
Sure, most maps I’ve got a general idea of where every gen already is without using Visionary (and Open Handed). But even in those circumstances Visionary still helps me plan avoiding a 3 gen, and helps me to lead chases AWAY from yet to be completed gens (in case I’ve forgotten the general area where team mates have popped gens).
And it goes without saying that Visionary is a GODSEND on indoor maps, particularly the new RCPD. Being already familiar with the layout of RCPD, the first time I played that map Visionary (and Open Handed) meant I already had a pretty good idea which rooms gens where sitting in (when I could see their auras).
Yes Visionary is definitely going to help beginners, but relegating it (or any other perk) to just being a beginner perk is very naive.
Heck i’ll run Technician periodically just so I can be more chill on a gen and focus better on my situational awareness.

Faced a trapper going for adept and this perk...is literally just a perk that helps survivors. Skillchecks more often? Alright i wanted to do this gen quicker thanks! Smaller success zones? Doesn't affect the great so now half the skillcheck is a great skillcheck! Its literally useless against half decent survivors. The only time this perk shines is when you have that one doctor who wants to make every newbie in the lobbys game hell. (Im saying newbie because impossible skillcheck doc shouldn't be so good in red). Then you get into the stridor thing where its only useful in one scenario and useless in pretty much all others. Anyone else have any ideas on what could happen to this perk?
Edit:After watching otzs video he also brings up a good point its missleading. Doesn't affect jigsaw boxes and DS. I feel like DS was the only time this perk was commonly used because it soft countered DS. Not really against decent survivors though. It's just...so bad.
It just shouldn’t have any great success zone at all. Just provide a smaller skillcheck that simply avoids an explosion if hit.

The point of BTB & Selfcare is Killer doesnt expect it, because you were making noise, then go silent, makes them thought you're already far away.
Bingo. Now you hear me. Now you don’t.

I’m loving Bite The Bullet currently

@Phasmamain said:
I still think IW is more consistent but BTB has actually been the highlight of the RE perks for me surprisingly
Yes IW can be seen as more consistent, but a killer dealing with IW knows to be more visually attentive. It seems that going from hearing you to suddenly not hearing you throws them off quite a bit.

Like holy crap I understand dull totems at least they’ve become harder to see and stuff. But, Hex totems are so loud and they stick out so much on majority of maps. You just need to walk by and hear something. This was just from a gameplay with two Claudettes running full meta and walking by the devour hope twice while active. And I just got moried because of that. They were red ranks
That’s just it. They’re probably only looking, and not also listening for them.

I absolutely do not want another range killer. Sick of them. They’re bloody horrible on console controllers.
Please, I want another AoE style power like Doc: something tied to TR. if not that, then a stealth or trap style killer.

Sweats exist. You honestly just have to deal with it and move on because they aren’t going anywhere.
Deal with it how? Nothing can be done against survivors that can’t be hit for extended periods of time.

This. If you go against decent loopers, it can take a great deal of time before even getting to use your power.

Hag doesn't really have any counterplay except for holding W or being able to see the future and equip a flashlight with a lot of batteries.
She really isn't "perfectly balanced", she's a camping machine that shuts down every loops she's ever touched and whose counterplay is to be in the right place at the right time when she picks someone up to run through her web, or to just forget about loops and just get some excellent cardio in for your character.
“or being able to see the future and equip a flashlight”
This made me LOL hard. 🤣🤣🤣
See, her counterplay is easy. Just be clairvoyant.
-
Never even heard of her

I actually really like just sticking with Eruption, Hysteria, Lethal Pursuer on him, with Lightborn for how prevalent Blast Mine & Flashbangs are.

The “Always small TR build”: M&A + Furtive Chase. At 4 FC tokens your TR remains exactly the same: 24m for 32m TR killers, and 16m for 24m TR killers.

True but I've read people saying her whole power should be reworked and i dont want that to happen. Her power is unique and fun
She doesn’t need a power rework. She just needs her hook camping nerfed. Almost every Hag I come across does the exact same scumbag thing: trap the hook, and when an unhook occurs, starts heading back to it. Either she gets her teleport and free hit because someone was stupid and didn’t crouch, or she gets her free hit because she gets back to the area in time before the survivors were even able to crouch walk far enough out of trap triggering range. It’s infuriating. Hag ensures everybody is essentially dead upon their first hook. I hate it. I despise Hag with a seething hatred.

Myers is the only licensed killer I want to spend money on just for the peekaboo build. I’m just holding off because I am pretty sure they’re going rework him and probably need his add ons, so I’d like we see what happens to him first.
I just hope they don’t destroy his peekaboo aspect, it’s the scariest thing we can face as survivors.
I don’t think they’ll change a lot if the review him. Thematically speaking, every one of his add ons fits him perfectly. They’ll probably do some minor tweaks to certain add ons.

In the RE games when you get attacked by zombies you have to do a QTE where the zombies attack you and you have to shake them off... Maybe something like this but with a skillcheck? just to at least avoid going down from being injured. I think it'd be neat if it killed the zombie if you did this. it would take a second which could give nemesis a second to snatch you up if he's nearby.. rather than just going down instantly regardless.
Well no, because in the RE games you’re still getting injured. You’re just getting them off quicker so they don’t kill you outright.
-
I only go for the mass slug with Victor when the survivors have foolishly created the conditions for me to do that with Victor. I.e. staying grouped up injured and failing to crush me in time. Other than that I don’t down one injured survivor then deliberately go searching out another injured survivor.
I find Victor WAY more useful latched onto healthy survivors as he creates a large amount of stall if this is done regularly throughout the match, AND as a sentry near gens I know survivors are likely to return to while I use Charlotte to pressure other nearby gens.

Interesting, I've never been fortunate enough to get this perk to work for me.
It’s just about being deliberate in your approach to always go for the Obsession if you hear the audio notification that you’ve found them (unless they’re a looper that wastes far too much time). This becomes easier to do mid chase as you gain tokens, and once you get your 4 stacks then you always slug the Obsession to avoid accidentally killing them.
4 tokens can easily result in easy hits on unprepared survivors when a chase takes you near them, such as past a gen. It’s just about remembering to switch to another survivor you’ve spotted, and always keeping in mind that the survivor you’re chasing is way more prepared with their spacing than the survivor that was just caught off guard with you being much closer than they realised.
Are there better perks? Sure. But FC is fun to use if you are deliberate in taking advantage of what it can offer.
-
I think he’s mostly fine. He probably needs only the most minor of add on passes.
-
Regularly.
I like using to bait and switch mid chase on unsuspecting survivors when I have 4 tokens. It’s great on Myers during T3 EW. Down someone, and then catch someone off guard close by when they suddenly hear your restored TR.

They should have changed this Add On when reworking Clown and I am really surprised they did not do it back then.
IMO not really different from Iri Head, getting direct Bottle Hits is pretty easy, especially if the Survivor is intoxicated before.
I was just as surprised as you. I had been very vocal about this add on for a long time, supporting the idea that this add on is way too strong. I’m still baffled why it wasn’t changed.
-
Most survivors hate it. But yeah like you said, it’s not seen often because Clown isn’t used often. This, and also most Clown’s just spam bottles and don’t get accurate hits.

Being able to put this perk to use means your teammates are all dying.
Sometimes that can’t be helped. It’s not the OP fault if teammates aren’t great at chases.
-
I LOVE DEATHBOUND. I use it in my anti heal build so that if they DO get healed by teammates, I know where to go to frustrate the heck out of them. Plus the Oblivious effect can be handy sometimes. I’ve had survivors just turn a corner and walk right into me.

I've had it happen four different times today.
The game starts and some noob runs to a pallet and just immediately throws it for no reason. TWICE AT SHACK someone has done this.
I can't figure out why they're doing this. Do they just think they're being bold by alerting the killer? Dear god, I hate rank reset.
They probably don’t even know it alerts the killer. In their mind maybe it seems better to have the pallet be an obstruction straight away while working on shack gen.
