  • Btw I in no way endorse or care for Tru3ta1ent but seeing as he seems to complain about how hard Killer is to play, I used him as an example since he even showed that with skill Legion is successful.

But seriously, go watch Panda’s video on how he uses legion, he is a Mid-Tier Killer at best and he’s able to tear [BAD WORD] up with Legion successfully.

That video looked like a setup, even if it was not meant to be. He's playing with other people in KYF so it's likely the survivors knew what he was running and they deliberately played in a way to showcase the new perks and Feral Frenzy at its best.
Even if none of it was planned there was one(1) instance where Legion did some good work, and it's the part that's in the intro as well.

    Video in question

I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt even though you have absolutely no proof that in fact it is a setup. Here is another example though, Tru3Ta1ent who is also a mid tier killer at best seems do really well with Legion. It really depends on who the person behind the screen is playing the character. Everyone just needs to realize that Legion is not like any other Killer we’ve seen. He’s not just stab, chase, get looped and down someone. He actually requires skill and mind game. Those who are  patient with him and skilled enough will see his advantages.

  • Let me play you a song on the worlds smallest violin 🎻
  • People just don’t realize how tactical Legion is at slowing down gen rushing. This is all part of their “trying to slow down gen rush by providing other objectives” plan. Much like they extended self care time.

    Survivor-favored.

Because survivors have tons of informations and the killer has no informations.

And they made some bad gameplay designs.

    Example:

The Pig doesnt see the reverse beartrap timer, but the survivor see it and hear it.

Yeah the Killer has no preparation time 60 seconds in advance, has no idea who his obsession is, what characters are playing and items they’re bringing in. Furthermore the Killer cannot determine where the generators are or any of the exit gates. Actually I think the Killer has all that information. You just proved you’re heavily Killer sided 😉

SWF has all of that information as well shared between them within 30 seconds. Also if one of them dies, they know all the killer's perks. You just proved nothing.

That applies to comms ONLY, what I said applies to EVERY killer. You just proved nothing.
  • Do you play pc or console??
  • 9/10 of the time I'm solo as a survivor. Getting to rank 2 and 3 though, I expect so much from others (juking, looping) but a lot of players shouldn't be on those ranks and it's frustrating.
I literally D/C'ed to level 9 and players are much more competent at rank 7, 8 and 9.

I feel you, I wonder how the heck some people are Rank 1 like me. I played with Rank 7-9 one night due to the wonderful matchmaking system and they actually were a lot better than the Rank 1-4 I play with
  • Also also this seems to be the general order

    SWF—>Killer————————>....dog #########.......———————>solo survivors
  • Depends on the functionality of each player’s brain.
    This 100%

  • Tbh it’s not replacing any perks I have in my top 4 not even interchangeably
  • If you look at the killer’s background mask, they seem to become more sadistic/evil looking as they go back. It might power up as it kills.

I think they're not in the game after 2 years for a VERY good reason.

Yeah but listen, that was 2 years of time where before the pallets were in a surplus on the maps.

Now you can run through some maps without seeing a pallet but there’s tons of useless open space. As for the god pallet, it would help save the killer so much time from looping.

Before you start with “what about bamboozle” Bamboozle works but it’s more of a bandaid solution, I only really use it specifically for loops like killer shack. Imagine what a perk slot Killers waste just for that.
  • You’d have to really add a lot of indicators that solo players could understand without actual verbal communication. Such as, generator auras being shown to percentage of completion (the brighter the color the more complete), constant location ques of the Killer, totem auras showing when a survivor passes by, etc.
That’s the only way solo survivors would be on par with SWF.
It also clearly shows how overpowered SWF are.
  • About two minute ques here in California. It seems to me that I keep running into similar survivors though, not saying they’re SWF as they are not together in the lobby. Are there any other survivors out there? Xbox One if it helps
  • That’s nothing dude, look at this.

  • Just watch Monto’s super toxic killer videos, survivors literally disconnect every game. I guess that qualifies as “effective killer”?
  • I just hope the Mori is as cool as it seems to be on the footage
  • I'm not sure what amuses me more about these two specific survivors; that they result to name calling when their arguments fall apart or when they resort to deflecting to other perks/offerings when it happens. Or their sad attempts at straw man arguments.

Sounds like you’re deflecting the topic here with being confused at what amuses you

“Another person with evidence and facts” lets ignore him since we have noting to counter what evidence there currently is. Talk about confirmation bias.

    anecdotal evidence doesn't mean crap

Remind me why you’re one of the only killers who complains about every advantage a survivor has? Just git gud noob.

  • Play killer against a good team with 3-4 DS users and you'll know. Till then you just won't understand.

Also, stop trying to equate NOED to DS. They are not the flip side of the same coin. At all. By any stretch of the imagination.

I’ve already done that, was EZ; frustrating, yeah a little, but didn’t change the outcome for all 4 of them. I could understand baby killers having a hard time with it though.
  • Maybe one that benefits the survivor but can hinder the team, like, “able to vault faster at the cost of reduced generator repair speed”
  • I don’t see how this is a real issue, just deal with it. It happens to me once every so often and it’s usually a flashlight switch or two. With the new pickup animation I’ve only dropped a survivor once due to flashlight save. I don’t expect the game to favor me 100% of the time, not do I expect to have an easy game.
  • Killers have better add ons too, I constantly have mori’s in the bloodwebs, ultra rares/very rares too as Killer. So it makes sense to not renew them.

I’m cool with it, I think it’s in the right direction and I play Killer and Survivor. Maybe SWF shouldn’t have that kindred though.

Well you can play killer then after next patch, because im not gonna bother anymore if devs do all that stuff they said in Q&A

I will just like I always have after every nerf and every buff, regardless of which direction it’s in. You can keep complaining about it though.

  • It increases tunneling, this can turn out bad.
  • I must be the only Rank 1 Killer who does well on this map, at least 2/4 kills.
  • I’m all for it, I think it will make the game exciting for both sides, while helping the devs buff killers in the long run. My only concern is that we may see a lot more Open Handed perk showing up, so maybe cap the range of the killers aura from the cap it’s already at just to be more fair.

Tbh it’s kinda fun playing against this bug, I was repairing a gen on Badham upstairs and hearing Trappers footsteps around the corner scared the [BAD WORD] out of me. Don’t think it’d be much fun against a Leatherface though 😆

It definitely forces me to be aware of my surroundings and thats what i really liked. Constantly looking over my shoulder to make sure that a blood thirsty psychopath is not about to get the drop on me.

Maybe they should leave it, at least against SWF ma’right?

  • It’s alright on Myers too for leveling up Evil Within, but at high ranks you’d much more prefer Monitor and Abuse.
  • If anything you should go AFTER a player using No Mither, especially at higher ranks since they’re most likely using it with a plan (finishing gens faster) and you can’t keep a No Mither player clubbed for long (recover from the dying state). At high ranks you MUST eliminate the weakest link first.
  • This one is just as bad or worse, they’re asking to be broken.
  • Master said:

Now you have to realize that a rank 10 killer could have faced this team too. Imagine how much fun it would have been for a real rank 10 killer

I do realize that, and it ended something like this.. They all have the same weakness, Altruism. (No perks btw)

  • Nice photoshop, I thought killing survivors was impossible thanks to every killer main on this forum.

I play 50/50 so I definitely feel for both sides but lmao fr though 💀
  • @KillingInstinct the funny part is they're either silent or blowing up the chat

  • @Tsulan Love it! The salt of survivors was real :chuffed:

  • I love trapper regardless <3

  • OP just get better at mind games, the looping is real but you have to be able to psych them out.

Just stop I'm sick of seeing salty survivor mains upset because the devs are nerfing survivors too much. All they're doing is making it fair for the killer half of you rely on crutches to get out such as DS and other OP perks well think about what that does to the killer. It makes them want to rage quit and smash something if they're bullied by toxic SWF and anyone in general. This game has been going in the right direction ever since BHVR broke away from Starbreeze. As someone who plays both killer and survivor when I play survivor do I like the changes maybe not, but do I agree with them yes everyone should have fun in this game. The only thing I think should be adjusted after the DS and Hatch nerf is the flashlights or addons for the flashlight. Survivors shouldn't have an extra chance unless they're bad at the game.

    Git gud.

Also Killers have their crutches too, but you seem to only want to focus on the survivor ones. Totally not biased I see.

Lol, no Killer perk is as good as the Survivor perks are.

Feel free to list any Killer perk that's a 'crutch' and I will shoot them down. Go on, I dare you to.

    NoED.

A perk that can be broken before it ever actually sees use, and the only way this perk actually works is if you play like an idiot. Get the totems before you power the last generator, if not, at best one person is going to die from it unless you play badly.

    Keep going.

Well if we're gonna go on your logic flashlights are countered by staring at a wall, no?

Or is it inconvenient for something you disagree with to actually have a counter so you say it's unfair.

Walls are not guaranteed to be everywhere you down Survivors. Some maps (Coldwind Farm maps in particular) have almost no walls to speak of.

    Keep going.

Just like DS isn’t guaranteed to be hit by the survivor.

Yes, but the difference between walls to counter flashlights and DS, is that those wall aren't always an option. Sure, you might miss DS, but that is entirely on you and not something the killer can have much control over.

Saying it’s entirely up to the survivor THEN saying the killer can’t have MUCH control over is a dilemma in the statement you’re making. Which side are you on? I prefer the facts.
  • The devs need to be more TRANSPARENT and actually show us the statistics. They need to show us, how long the time for Ruin averages, how often DS gets a completed skill check, how often it’s used and how often NOED actually gets broken before the game. If they do that, that would stop so many of us from bickering back and forth. You think there’s a reason they don’t show us these numbers??
  • Orion said:

    @Speshul_Kitten said:
So by those standards the only way to miss DS is to have nerve damage, gotcha, not biased at all.

It's a hyperbole. The success zone is too big to miss unless you're distracted by something else, or have some form of impairment, or your space bar/controller craps out on you (could happen).

The success zone is too big? Skill checks on gens are too big, on DS it’s what, 10% of the size of the circumference? Even by those standards, there’s so many opportunities to dodge it, it’s a pain in the ass sometimes but it’s as much a pain as NOED is.
  • Orion said:

    @Speshul_Kitten said:
Everyone who is saying, “You can just cleanse totems” how about, you just play Dr, use Enduring and Unnerving Presence, that way you don’t complain about DS. I mean, how often does your NOED actually not end up being active compared to the times you have. I would say at least 80% of the time it’s active for me, at rank 1

So play one Killer and have 2 perk slots to soften the blow from a single perk. You don't see how that might show a balance problem?

Wether it sucks for you or not is not my business but if DS really bothers people that much then maybe this game isn’t for them. Adapt or get good?
