So by those standards the only way to miss DS is to have nerve damage, gotcha, not biased at all.Orion said:@Speshul_Kitten said:
Just like DS isn’t guaranteed to be hit by the survivor.Only if the Survivor has nerve damage. The success zone is [BAD WORD] enormous.

Everyone who is saying, “You can just cleanse totems” how about, you just play Dr, use Enduring and Unnerving Presence, that way you don’t complain about DS. I mean, how often does your NOED actually not end up being active compared to the times you have. I would say at least 80% of the time it’s active for me, at rank 1

Just stop I'm sick of seeing salty survivor mains upset because the devs are nerfing survivors too much. All they're doing is making it fair for the killer half of you rely on crutches to get out such as DS and other OP perks well think about what that does to the killer. It makes them want to rage quit and smash something if they're bullied by toxic SWF and anyone in general. This game has been going in the right direction ever since BHVR broke away from Starbreeze. As someone who plays both killer and survivor when I play survivor do I like the changes maybe not, but do I agree with them yes everyone should have fun in this game. The only thing I think should be adjusted after the DS and Hatch nerf is the flashlights or addons for the flashlight. Survivors shouldn't have an extra chance unless they're bad at the game.Git gud.
Also Killers have their crutches too, but you seem to only want to focus on the survivor ones. Totally not biased I see.
Lol, no Killer perk is as good as the Survivor perks are.
Feel free to list any Killer perk that's a 'crutch' and I will shoot them down. Go on, I dare you to.
NoED.
A perk that can be broken before it ever actually sees use, and the only way this perk actually works is if you play like an idiot. Get the totems before you power the last generator, if not, at best one person is going to die from it unless you play badly.
Keep going.
Well if we're gonna go on your logic flashlights are countered by staring at a wall, no?
Or is it inconvenient for something you disagree with to actually have a counter so you say it's unfair.
Walls are not guaranteed to be everywhere you down Survivors. Some maps (Coldwind Farm maps in particular) have almost no walls to speak of.
Keep going.

That’s happened to me twice today as a survivor, except on one of them all four of us spawned by it cause someone used a Shroud of Binding. But even if we don’t spawn in front of it, it’s usually within 20-30 meters it seems.Sally55 said:I don't have a picture but i played a match against a hag on the game yesterday and i literally spawned in front of her ruin totem...
-
that’s reasonable for it to be harder to find on maps like Swamp, Asylum or even Red Forest, but it’s not getting any better when they say they supposedly made the totem spawns better. What rank were you playing at? Usually when that happens it’s a team focused too much on altruism and/or lower ranks.feffrey said:I played a match today and a hex ruin spawned way in a corner behind in between a wooden wall and a stone wall.
It was on the biggest maps too
Never found it until half of us been hooked twice -
Rank 1 Killer and wait times currently average 10-15 minutes (on PC). Not sure why the huge difference in wait times though.
-
Same here, took me less than an hour to adapt. But just because survivor mains don’t post on here as much as the entire players of community that exist, it makes OP’s statistics completely irrelevant and dismissive. Anyways, they won’t come on here and be vocal, they’ll just leave and play something else.DreadfulProton said:Honestly posts like yours are truly unbearable. I've never seen a community so split by hate mobs on both sides since WoW. One thing I've noticed about these forums is that killers are WAY more active/vocal. For me though it's still an EZ bully life as a survivor. I'll be taking your lunch money sooner or later.

get your rank 20 buddy to host swf and face off against low tier killers.
i must say...that number there...very impressive. ( what number where? ######### are you talking about? )
so...in essence, what i am saying is....don't give me that crap about how wonderful you are.
Ok. OP is pissed about the rank difference so i commented on it and explained how this could happen and its partially ....its there to read.
Then i see paddywhack who needs a guiness' comments

No DS and SB 2 and 1 flashlight and still no kills.
I guess these stories of SWF loadout crutches have been greatly exaggerated
Meaning that you was trying to minimize the Survs' loadout when the game is more than just loadout. Survs can wreck killers without anything as has been shown.
I was merely trying to show the... Dude......... Go back to the pub and drink more. Your thought process is weird. Your sentence structure and logic is even more strange. Take your meds and have a nap. Stay away from this game. Its not doing you any favors. Just read this whole section from top to bottom.
You are just pissed that i dared to challenge your SWF bias mentality. According to you we are supposed to think that 3 out of 4 using SB is not a threat cos one of them is using "ONLY" a SB 2?
I dont need your permission to post on this thread nor am i seeking it.
Another thing. I am starting to think you are somehow involved in the game above. Take your fights to discord or at least try to make sense when you people write stuff. It would help as well to not post it in a public forum where people are invited to post and comment. Especially if there is some spat over a game that you have with people.
Are you still trying yawn!!!
i didn’t read any of that by the way, your jumping into an on going barrage of his spam about SWF, so I suggest you move onCant be that boring or you would not be here. So tell us what you really think. Back from the pub paddy? So soon?
Yeah sorry im running late. Got stuck at liquor store. Start without me. Just fill me in later on the new ways we are going to screw with killers.

Dude barely had over 5 days, let him learn.
-
What do you mean by “win”? I actually don’t see decisive strike much anymore, unless it’s SWF. It seems players are starting to try to adapt without it early on seeing as there is an inevitable nerf coming.
-
Good job, you didn’t even need ruin. You have a bright future with this game, or is it a dark one...?
-
What perks/killer are you using?

I love the mysteries of the journal entries, the authors of them and how we have the opportunity to speculate who and what the entity looks like.

So it’s whining when someone disagrees with your toxicity and prefers to view things as positively holistic for this game and the community. I see what kind of person is on the other end of this thread, good day.Lowbei said:

This. I mostly play solo because SWF isn’t always something I like to do. But since the last PTB I found it quite difficult and EXTRA reliant on teammates to do objectives, save from hooks, clear totems and dodge killer when they’re not SWF. I maybe escaped 40% of the time which was usually just me or someone else who did. This Killer Buff is definitely encouraging SWF to become stronger.powerbats said:@TheXenoborg said:
SWF must never be deleted. It was a great addition to the game, but it is true that it doesn't belong in the game. - Which is why it's important for the devs to tweak it and make it an organic part of the game.In the end, it's not about killers asking for "ez pz games", just a more balanced experience.
We can all agree a more balanced experience would be nice, it's the way to get there that's so hard to agree on since both sides will want something that favors them.My concerns with buffing killers versus swf is the solo queue players will get wrecked, especially at low ranks.
I'm not sure you could base it on rank ranges since then both sides would try and exploit it by ranking up/deranking. But having a separate queue for ranked and casual play would be nice.
-
This is accurate, as far as SWF being mostly about toxicity.Baphomett said:I have no problem polite, respectful SWFs. Even if they wreck me. It really is the toxic players that are a problem and the lack of moderation or consequence. Unfortunately, many SWF teams take the toxicity to a new level and make killers feel bullied and ganged up on, especially in after game chat. Hence the, imo, somewhat misplaced anger at SWFs in general. But then, I play SWF with my roommate and occassionally other friends and killer when I play solo, so I guess I'm biased. -
I didn’t know SWF was a “legit problem” it’s more about toxic players, something that will never change.Boss said:@Paddy4583 said:

Tunneling sucks, no one likes it, not even the killer believe it or not. BBQ was encouraged to stop killers from tunneling, but when you catch a survivor on high ranks and two gens are already knocked out, it’s really discouraging to try to go after someone else so far away with the chance of not even being able to catch them in time, that’s why tunneling exist, or it should really be the only reason people tunnel. If you’re tunneling for any other reason I suggest you at least use Make Your Choice to grab another stack to BBQ.
-
Another waste of a post and just a classic case of git gud
-
I would feel less cheated and slightly more comfortable as a killer if the hatch stand off happened AFTER 3 gens were complete and not just two. That way I can say they AT LEAST did half of the objective, but noooooo...
-
Why should the solution consist of further nerfs to survivors?Orion said:Survivors are the ones who don't want Killers to pick their perks in accordance with the team they're facing and want Killers to be forced into unfavorable/unfun games. Fact is, if you try this, instead of dodging pre-lobby, you'll just have Killers DC when they realize the game is not going to be fun.
You've got two ways to fix this:
1. Heavily nerf Survivor items (particularly flashlights).
2. Try to make items less of a pain in the ass for Killers so they won't mind their presence.Until either - or both - of those things happen, if you don't want to get dodged for bringing items or last-second switching, then just don't bring items you know Killers will dodge you for nor do a last-second switch.
-
We need prestige 4 already
-
I seent it already!
-
I’d be fine if they got rid of both or just made both completely useless.

Kinda sad that this deserves praise. In other words, Freddy shouldn’t be this weak.

To everybody complaining and still making excuses, come back later and I will post one at rank 1 tonight, then tell me your excuses for it.
-
How many games do you actually play that end in 3 minutes?? Why do people keep mentioning the most ridiculous outliers within a time range. I’ve literally been playing killer ALL night and have not had a SINGLE 3 minute game. This “3 minute game thing has turned into a trend more than a fact” look at the numbers.Tsulan said:@brokedownpalace said:
Pros: None
Cons: AllThis is an absurd suggestion.
Why is this absurd?
Please give me a reason. Because i already explained that right now a high rank match takes 3 minutes or less with 4 survivors. Only when 3 survivors start, the match takes significantly longer and is more enjoyable for all parties. Since it´s not just the gen repair simulator for 3 minutes. -

I cant tell if you're talking about me like im a survivor main, or survivors in general? My suggestion is a bigger nerf than the current exhaustion change they have planned
It’s funny how Killer mains complain about sprint burst so much. Is sprint burst OP, as a sprint perk, sure. Does it need an exhaustion nerf, sure. Here’s the problem, if a survivor is able to use sprint burst on you twice, you’re clearly doing something wrong. At Rank 1 killer maybe 1 in 100 players ever get to use sprint burst on me twice. Don’t let them juke you so long cause then you try to blame other things like a perk for your incompetence. Learn to play strategically and use your brain. Next you will complain about how fast generators are getting done after these nerfs/buffs.
??? I swear people on this forum just make stuff up. Show me where I said I have an issue with sprint burst being used twice in a chase. I literally said the exact opposite, that most killers DONT have that problem. Is reading that hard for you?
When did I say it was an issue for you?? The “you” in my example was killer mains in general who complain about sprint burst. I can read, learn to UNDERSTAND what you read.

Sprint burst is probably the most realistic perk in the game. People need to get over it. Yeah the exhaustion part makes sense, but if you saw a killer coming to you, wouldn’t you start running at your top speed??Realism is irrelevant. This game is not a simulation. These changes are about balance not realism.
Then please explain how exhausting sprint burst will balance the game? You will always find something to complain about, I can turn right around and say NOED is op af too, and that “it doesn’t bring balance”

If you play survivor enough, you’ll notice that using the toolbox charge add-ons deplete if you use enough of your toolbox. Even if you escape the trial with your toolbox, using enough of your toolbox you end up losing the extra charges add-on, same thing goes with some flashlight add-ons and medkit charges. But yeah, Idk how my trapper main runs out of a bag at the end of a trial lol

I know the Exhaustion nerf is going to affect SB, but that was never even the main reason i absolutely despise that perk, its a braindead panic button used to counter any ambushes, thats the actual problem in my opinion.Idk sprint burst was never the issue for me as a killer, not sure why people keep complaining about it. As long as a survivor/killer have a top tier perk there will continue to be complaints. The main issue is the back to back TO BACK pallets. Very rarely, and I say maybe 1 in every 100 survivors ever get to use sprint burst on me more than once, and that’s at rank 1-4
