Huntress was the one I always afraid of (playing as, I mean). Some of them hatchet hits and misses seem so terribly random, even without lag. But I have good news for you: anyone can practice and become decent with any killer. There were no other killers left to max out, so I started playing her, and quickly improved my skills from "pathetic" to "somewhat potato".

It's just that you have to tolerate a lot of frustrating defeats, and the inevitable "gg ez baby killer" remarks. That's not that bad. You should really give a shot to some killer you never played before.

I actually did the random killer wheel on my stream this weekend, and with the messages turned off it was surprisingly more fun than i imagined it would be. I tried new killers, some I did a lot better than I thought, others I sucked at but it was still fun. I'd definitely reccomend turning off the messages to anyone worried about the crap they might get after the match because apparently some people can't even loose with dignity. Huntress on console was a literal crapshoot, but again, I did better than I thought I would. We won't talk about the Billy who seemed really attracted to trees the whole match.....

I think you're right. As intimidating as the prospect seemed, with actual practice I will get better, and have fun along the way.

  • Hmmmm not sure i can tell you anything you don't already know, but I'll give it a go because the Hag is my girl <3

The easiest one i guess, is to not just go for trapping gens, learn the maps and use what you know to trap key points at loops. I tend to go for the loop exits because that's when they think they are safe, as well as the usual places a survivor will drop down to.

I suck at remembering offering names, but use the fast trap draw to fake out at pallets. Once a survivor see's you bend down, they are more inclined to try legging it out the loop exit point, and possibly into an already waiting trap.

The three gen strat. Now to be fair, this works for any killer but i find with the hag, it can be devastating. Try and funnel survivors into leaving three gens close together and trap the hell out of the area.

Again with the fast trap draw, if your looper ain't falling for the fake out, close off the loop for real and they will either run away or right into the loop trap

Much like trapping loop exits, do the same with hooks. Players are mostly smart enough to know to crouch by now, and while you might catch a few out with a trap directly in front of the hooked survivor, I have caught so many people out by trapping the exit's a few feet away from the hook since most only crouch for so far and run when they think it's safe,

Some may disagree with me here, but honestly these tricks have worked better for me than anything else.

  • It's a perk, in a game. You're allowed to use it just as much as a killer is allowed to use NOED or Ruin. It's up to the devs to restrict things, you shouldn't have to do it to yourself.

Again im not blaming anyone. As i said i have noticed myself going toxic in post chat because of "post chat is toxic" being a meme already. I dont have a feeling to go toxic in other games.

"I have noticed myself going toxic in post chat because of 'post chat is toxic' being a meme already" is LITERALLY placing the blame elsewhere.

I have seen the same memes as you and yet strangely, in two years of playing, i have not once been toxic to someone in chat whether I win, lose, or someone is toxic to me for no reason since I'm never toxic in game.

Like i said before, if you are toxic in chat, for whatever reason, it's your fingers walking on the keyboard, ergo...your responsibility.

Exactly. DC's as a whole screw everyone over and is made worse by the entire "Survivor side vs killer side" overlay. I agree with both your points

At the end of the day it pretty much sucks for everyone who didn't DC. If the killer DC's, I've wasted my time and chance losing points, items and a pip. As a killer, its a little sad to see someone DC because you caught them, not to mention the points you lose. Losing half your team as a survivor is kinda crappy too, it makes things all the harder, especially with 5-4 gens still

Nobody can stop anybody from DCing until the system is changed, and I'm pretty sure some would tell me "F* off, I'll do as i please" which is fair enough i guess. But at the very least, lets stop the whole "I can do it because THEY do it" excuse.

My friend and I now have a rule when two people DC in a match, we'll go hunt down the killer and let them kill us because we know its crap for them as much as us. Same as a killer. If i end up with two or sometimes even one person left, i let them slam pallets on my head in between gens.

  • Can we all just step back and agree that DC's simply suck all round, or are we still too busy deciding who is in the right and who said what first. When a thread like this devolves into an argument the point gets lost. If you wanna have it out, i'm pretty sure you can scribble on each others walls.

Honestly, this whole "Well survivors / killers do it so..." Just sucks and makes people look like kids. PEOPLE dc, whether survivor or killer and that's the hard fact. Yesterday alone i had 8 survivor dc's and 7 killer dc's, all of them rage quits or someone not wanting to play a certain map / killer.

The other side doing it isn't an excuse. If someone chooses to DC, it's on them not the other sides behaviour, and the issue of loss of points goes both ways. I've lost points / pips as killer and in some cases i have lost points and even items / offerings as a survivor.

The whole killer and survivor divide is not a free pass. People need to be responsible for their own actions. Nobody can make someone take that responsibility i know, but pointing the finger as an excuse is just bullpoop.

  • I'm a console scrub so Nurse is the one i shy away from the most. Aside from blinking into walls every now and then on KYF, i dare not take her into public matches for fear of embarrassing the hell out of myself. It's a shame as I really love her style and character concept.

Yeah, through 4 feet of snow! Uphill! Both ways! Now turn down that damned chase music and Urban Evade the hell offa' my lawn, whippersnappers!

Totally read this in Grandpa Simpsons voice for some reason XD

  • I have to agree with @Judith, Most of the killers who take pity on me when half my team gets salty and DC's, are Bubba's. They usually let me farm, but then i feel bad and drag him to the basement to hook me after....

They also seem to take vengeance on hook farmers and sandbaggers a lot more too.

And then there was my favourite, when I was still pretty new to the game and had the misfortune of spawning about 2 feet behind him at the start of the match. He looked at me for 5 seconds, nodded and then ran off. Of course he chainsawed my ass a little while later but the chance to not die instantly was appreciated.

  • Nobody can make you do a damn thing. If you are toxic in chat it's for one of two reasons.

Either someone said something to you and you responded in kind, negating your view that chat is not toxic.

    Or...

You decided/wanted to be toxic and blame it on others because that's easier than admitting you just decided to be an unpleasant person.

There are no phantom hands on your keyboard, nobody holds a gun to your head in order to type something, so please...just stop. People say the chat is toxic because a good portion of the time it is. I've experienced death threats, ######### threats, been told to kill myself and called all manner of things. In the end I turned off messages and my play time has been much better.

Now there have been threads about some of the nice in game messages we receive, but sadly they are few and far between for a REASON.....

If you want to say nasty or mean things to people in a game, well thats your prerogative. But man up and own it.

  • I'd trip over a totem and likely die hilariously by impaling myself on the edge of some rusty metal in auto haven......Or fall down a hole in the Game and break my neck.

  • Unfortunately, you can point out what an official win is (and yes you are correct) until you are blue in the face, You cannot however, force people to care.

There is no 'correct' answer to a question that is purely subjective, no matter how many times you may wish to make it so.

We get it. A 'real' win is what we get when we meet the parameters displayed. However, people will always set their own goals in a game and thus we have what makes it a 'win' (perhaps a secondary win if that makes you feel any better) for THEM, not the game.

  • This is why I'm glad I have a small, polite bunch of viewers on twitch. I don't really advertise my name anywhere and certainly not on DBD, I've never been fussed with getting a ton of views and my guys know there isn't a quicker way to get a ban than being toxic to one of my opponents...not that any of them have tried. I enjoy streaming, because I enjoy talking about the game I'm playing, but I'm always pretty adamant I'm s**t at multiplayer games and they never seem to mind this, because I clearly have fun.

I've always maintained that I'd rather ban someone and lose a follower than have an a**hole in my small but rather pleasant community. However people can't be forced to play nice and often, with relative anonymity and distance on their side, a lot of people choose to be unpleasant simply because they can.

@NurseMainBTW I am sorry you had to put up with that crap, and while saying that we aren't all like that is a bit like shouting into a tornado, there are some of us out there, we just seem to be few and far between <3

  • With Legion, the biggest issue that we saw, and probably the most vocal feedback was that there was no counterplay to his power.

One of the more thought out and respectful posts about this issue that I've seen so far.

I've only just started branching out more with the killer side, having mostly played the hag. And the difference between playing everyone's favourite masked stalker and the puking princess is notable even to a scrub like myself.

As a survivor, where is the sense in giving the killer the chance to use the most harmful part of their power base if you don't have to? If you're going to put it in the players hands, most aren't going to give the killer a chance. That'd be like standing on a hill and spinning on the spot till Myers got his tier three. And i have to say that's not on the survivors, if killers had the chance to prevent survivors from using something that could turn the tide of the game, I'm pretty sure they would. These are design flaws they need revisiting.

Ghost's issues have been done to death so, nuff said there.

Personally, I would prefer they hold off on new chapters until they sorted out some of these glaring issues, but I might be somewhat naive on that score as I don't really know who does what when it comes to creating/fixing killers, but it does seem to be the more sensible course of action given the current climate with the player base.

  • I started having fun when i switched my messages to 'friends only' and stopped worrying about what other people thought about my playstyle as either survivor or killer. I actually find it more fun to try out new killers without having to worry about the salt you get whether you win or lose. Yeah I know i suck the first time round playing a killer, fairly sure i don't need confirmation from people.

Other than that, anything non toxic from either side, that makes me laugh, I consider that a win, because it's a game, and while I appreciate people should be allowed to have a competitive attitude towards it, I simply don't.

  • This happened to me last night, got to the end part of the match and none of us could heal, the option didn't even show up. To be fair I wasn't aware of it till then, had never seen it, so can't say how common it is, but i thought i was going nuts.

  • Cannot confirm for the other platforms, but it definitely can happen on ps4. I've double checked a number of times and it isn't just a visual bug either.

I always thought a graveyard could also be nice. Or the Paris Catacombs, seems absolutely brilliant for dead by daylight.

I generally think interactive map mechanics would be nice for the atmosphere. We only have pallets, vaults and lockers.

Why no doors? Why no actual windows? Why no objects that move and make noices when you run into them? Dynamic garbage bins, oil barrels, ...? Shattered glas or broken wood planks on the ground that make noices when you sprint through them? Rats and bats to jumpscare survivors (besides the rather static and boring crows).

Weather effects like clouds to temporarily darken the map, thunderbolts to lighten it up. Rain that would lower the vision for everyone but make steps louder?

And reskin haddonfield like de_simpson for next years april fools.

Ooooo, love the idea of Paris catacombs!

  • To be honest, whatever side you are playing, whatever killer you are playing, or perks you are running....someone is going to complain, b***h or be salty, it's sadly the nature of a good portion of the player base.

You do you. Practice, get to the point where you feel good about your handling on her and sod everyone else who wants to whine. Personally I'm utter pants at playing nurse (though oddly adept at mostly avoiding her on a map) so I give kudos to anyone willing to actually slog through those first painful matches in order to get better :)

  • I would love to see the hotel from the shining. Mostly just a fan girl desire though, long corridors, tight corners and the occasional connected room. Likewise with the maze, though that might not be as much fun for killers like billy or leathrface.

A doll / Mannequin factory, purely because those things are damn freaky, but i suppose that's a bit subjective.

An actual haunted house. Subtle environmental sounds, objects randomly moving to make chases more risky. Nothing worse than tripping over a suddenly moving table when a chainsaw maniac is behind you, or getting smacked in the head because you ran into the path of a flying encyclopedia while almost downing that survivor.

As for cool whip, I'm going to assume that's relatively the same as whipped cream over here in the UK, also now i have the Stewie / Brian cool whip sketch running around in my head.

  • Always thought I was purely hetero, till i came out of my late teens and met that first lady who just....BAM!...swept me right off my feet. I'm honestly not hugely enamoured with titles since i find a lot (not all) of people judge the title before the person, so i guess I'm just an equal opportunist....

...or as my best friend once said "Just plain greedy"

  • I really have zero sympathy for fellow survivors who announce they will disconnect because the killer is doing what they are supposed to do. Don't like camping and tunnelling? Well to a degree i sympathise, but they are actual intended mechanics, just as flashlights, looping, body blocking, gen rushing, swf, and the like are frustrating (for a killer) but intended mechanics.

Don't get me wrong, i find camping boring, but if I'm on a hook while being camped, i'll stay alive and do the wavey am dance to alert my team to do gens. Getting tunnelled? I'll do my best to string it out so again, my team has a bit more uninterrupted time to do gens.

I can sympathise with a genuine complaint such as against exploits and hacking, but attempting to punish the killer and your own team because you don't like a LEGITIMATE (albeit frustrating) play style....its once again people issuing made up rules as to what is 'appropriate' game play and its ridiculous.

Don't get me wrong, you are at perfect liberty to do as you wish in your own game if you don't find it fun, but from a personal perspective, I'd rather just take a bad game on the chin and learn from it rather than rage quit.

  • This has been a nice post to follow so far, so do yourselves a favour guys and just ignore the attention seeking troll.

Personally my vote goes to @Khalednazari , they are always ready to be very sweet and find a way to let the nastiness that can permeate a lot of threads roll off their back with humour and a general good nature.

  • I'd say @thesuicidefox is referring to the fact that the very first line in your post is one that singles out survivors as toxic, in fact your post makes no mention of killer toxicity, so from an outside perspective it looks like you simply came to the survivor forums to blame all toxicity on survivors, which unfortunately we know isn't true.

Now one does not excuse another and you are right, those are some pretty crappy plays by survivors listed in your post, but on the flip side i could list a hundred different examples of killer toxicity. Lets be clear about this, I don't mean camping, tunnelling, particular perks because all of that is legitimate, so no I'm not talking about killers breaking made up rules because i find the concept of people calling ANY legitimate strategy or perk as 'Toxic', quite ridiculous.

The point is, you can't really spread love (if that is truly your intention) by pointing the finger at one side when we damn well know that it isn't one sided, that just breeds resentment. Right now it just looks like you came here to vent about survivors, which is fine, you have a right to do so, but don't be surprised if there is a backlash from survivors who have had to endure the same thing from the other side.

I've played both sides and I've seen it from either end, Both are as bad as each other, and while it would be nice for all the toxicity to stop, i think some people just enjoy it too much.

  • AT TEABAGGING SURVIVORS: STOP IT AND KILLERS MIGHT STOP CAMPING YOU

    ...
    No they wont.

Don't get me wrong, I think T-bagging is indeed childish, but it's not the main reason people camp, and people won't stop camping even if they made T-Bagging impossible. It's an accepted strategy, boring for the poor bugger being camped but still accepted.

Some people will do it for revenge yes, but most people do it because they want to. End of story.

  • At the end of the day, even with all the counter measures that have been provided to survivors to combat camping, the act of camping itself is NOT bannable. The people who actually count when it comes to the rules, the DEVS have stated that it isn't bannable, or an exploit or even worth writing up a ticket for. A lot of people mention that it's not fun. No it isn't, for us survivors it can suck, but it IS fun for the killer and their fun counts too. Looping, flashlight saves, unhooking, gen rushes, body blocking, these are all things that suck for the killer but are fun for survivors. No side is guaranteed fun or a win, at the end of the day one side isn't going to get what they want.

Holding the game hostage however, IS bannable. You can justify it any way you like and I'm not going to say don't do it because people are going to do what they do regardless. But arguing the point is well...pointless, it is bannable, do it at your own risk. End of story

So again tell me how survivors can hold the game hostage without cheating? Because off the top of my head I can't think of anything.

You can basically play hide and seek and if there's more than 1 person doing it with say bond in both exit gates you can easily do it. If the killer doesn't have NOED or it's not permanent Evil III Myers they can just sit safely inside or near the exit gates.

The sneakiest person and also probably the one wIth SB/UE/Fleet Footwork and w/e perks helps can roam the map always hiding from the killer. They can do that solo or with anyone that they play with.

So both sides can and do take the game hostage and both sides are breaking the rules and can be punished for doing so.

The killer can still do something about it.

Still I dont go that far. I just stand at the exit gates tbagging until they force me out. It hurts their pride.

But again I ONLY do this to hard camping killers. The kind who hook their first guy and refuse to move. I never do it to normal killers.

I don't see how you can facecamp a guy and then act shocked when survivors get salty in return.

Jokes on you, once exit gates open I mostly just go afk until the remaining survivors leave and do dishes or some crap like that. Can't report me for holding the game hostage and while you sit on the PC needing to hear if I hit you I just enjoy my time someplace else.

Had this happen alot during my depipping time and it's funny because they think they hurt me but in reality I just get more iridescent shards the longer you stay and don't know if I'm afk or just looking for you.

I had hatch standoffs where I was able to completely clean my floor while the guys were walking around, since I got 2 monitors I was enjoying some supernatural on the second monitor.

So I'm not only wasting your own time but that of your friends too.

    ^ This

On the few occasions where I actually brace myself and play killer, i delight in disappointing the idiots who do the teabag Olympics at the gates. I don't care about the few extra blood points i might get for slapping survivor butts on their way out. But if you're going to be an ass about it, I'll wander off and happily deny those points to you.

So now you have a choice. You can make your exit, or you can hold the game hostage and run around trying to tempt me into chasing you. Meanwhile I'll be watching something on my laptop, or getting things done till you go away.

I consider teabagging childish, whichever way you want to justify it. Therefore i''ll treat you like an attention seeking child and ignore you. Very simple. You may well annoy people who don't have the time to wait around and that's pretty much butt hat behaviour disguising a tantrum if you're doing it due to camping, But for those of us who really don't care and can entertain ourselves while you play around, I can guarantee we'll out last you.

  • I tried to think of a way to say this, but all the intelligent reasons have been taken, so i'll let the good doctor cox say it with feeling....

These threads are why people say Survivors are entitled and toxic. These two people represent the majority of Survivor attitudes that Killers are expected to put up with. The label is a stereotype, true, but it's a stereotype based on reality.

I'm aware, the reasoning isn't lost on me.

I just wanted to make it perfectly clear to you and anyone else who reads this thread that Killer complaints about Survivor attitudes are not due to the stereotypical "snowflake Killer" myth that's spread around by Survivors like the OP. There's a very real problem with Survivor attitudes, and this thread is a perfect depiction of iT

Again, kinda covered it in my post. Have also called out my own sides bulls**t on many occasions. As an actual survivor main, it can get very wearing to think you are included in such descriptions because of the bad apples. But again, the proof keeps coming and with it, the understanding.

  • Y'know what, I'm sick of the word Main/s on this forum, survivor or killer. It's all too often used as a justification, an accusation or in some cases plain insulting. Can we just ban the word MAIN/s and replace it with Pineapple, JigglyPuff , Tribble or Platypus, because then at least all these god awful threads that vent peoples frustrations by spouting spite or insults at each other for about 70% of the forums, might be mildly amusing and slightly less depressing to read.

  • I'd be very interested to see how they would deal with Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde

  • Killers will camp and tunnel, survivors will loop and immerse. It's the game. Either get used to it or play a different game. I'm not being rude but those are literally your two choices because they are all allowed tactics and nobody is going to get banned for them.

No, we won't 'sit down'. You opened your opinion to a forum and surprise surprise people have differing views to you. I haven't defended anyone, merely pointed out that your reactions have been rude and in some cases, racist yourself. You assume that anybody who does not agree with you, has no idea about persecution, and that in itself is ridiculous.

I'm glad you don't see things as racist as much because these things are not targeted at you on a daily basis. I'm so glad that you live that life and that privilege.

How the hell do you know any of this? Since when does not seeing something as racist, a personal view i might add, equate to someone leading a 'privileged' life. That statement right there, is possibly one of the more racist comments i have seen in this thread so far.

However things like this I've seen and been attacked about the pigment of my skin is not okay to do. I do not like seeing this made as a mockery.

I am genuinely sorry that ANYONE has to go through that, but guess what, It does NOT give you veto power to decide who is and is not a racist based ONLY upon not agreeing with your definition of a cosmetic being racist. You want people to understand and sympathise with your point of view without giving ANY consideration to someone else's. If anyone has turned this thread into a mockery, it is you. You refuse to listen, you throw pretty serious and frankly hurtful accusations of racism at people who are clearly trying to tell you that they simply don't see the connection you do, and you call people ignorant and privileged because they don't have the 'experiences' you do.

So no, we won't sit down. You opened this can of worms in a PUBLIC forum. This means, that while you do not have to AGREE with them, you DO have to live with the fact that other people are allowed to post their own points of view. You want to control whats being said in the forums......go apply to be a mod.

Sis again sit down. you are blatantly racist because you're trying to appropriate blackface, honestly offensive and please whoever wasn't in your life I'm sorry they didn't teach you manners or learn how to love yourself and others.

Yeaaaah, I'm still not going to sit down, and no amount of saying i am racist when i clearly am not is going to change that. I mean you can go right ahead and bullheadedly insist that i am, but that still does not make it true. And once again you are resorting to insults, this time about the people who raised me, people you do not know and haven't met.....and you want to place yourself as the figurehead of tolerance in this thread?

Once again, i have not once advocated blackface. What i HAVE done is, for the third time, informed you that the cosmetic does not trigger the same thing in me as it seems to do in you. That's not racism, its not even in the same ballpark.

But please do go ahead and throw more insults about me, my parents, my outlook on life. It doesn't matter that you are utterly wrong,....but so far its hilarious watching you continuously make yourself look foolish by making snap judgements about people in a thread preaching tolerance and understanding.

    Great job!

  • OP, for me, this post goes the same way of all the spirit rage threads. In the damn bin.

Not because i don't believe you don't have a right to take issue with this cosmetic. I don't see it as racist because my mind isn't trained to turn something innocuous to me, into something with more meaning, plus I'm usually too busy running from his damn chainsaw to notice whose face he's wearing. However that does not mean someone else cannot take offence to it, if they find offensive meaning. I don't agree with you, but i can sit back and at least try to see it from someone else's point of view.

An ability you sadly seem to lack yourself.

What you have done in this thread is the same thing many have done, the same thing that has rendered their threads soon forgotten or closed down, and their grievances ignored by devs.

You refuse to listen to reasonable posts (please note by this i do NOT mean their posts are right and yours are wrong) because they do not adhere to YOUR interpretation of this cosmetic. You are insulting and in some cases downright rude and dismissive to people who are not immediately grabbing up their flag and joining your charge.

And you aim to try and get what you want by A) Asserting that the cosmetic IS racist despite that not being the intention and only asshat players using it as such which is very few and far between, and B.) pretty much verbally stamping your foot because you think it will get you your way.

Now, you can scream ignorant and racist at me till you're blue in the face and it wont make a blind bit of difference to me. I damn well KNOW in my heart of deepest dark hearts, that i am not a racist, and living in the UK while sick groups like the English Defence League are shouting loud and proud, I'm sure as s**t not ignorant to how serious the situation is outside of video games.

If you truly wanted to do something about this apparently sore subject, then perhaps speaking to the devs directly (there are ways and means if you are passionate enough about your issues) would have been a better plan, rather than charging in here with a demand and belittling anybody who's opinion does not stride alongside yours. You have turned what might have been a legitimate complaint you might have been able to do something about, into a damn circus.

No idea why there has to be ideas for two easy topics.

DS is fine. As annoying as it is... DS barely effects the game and most killers just juggle you onto a hook anyway. I tried using DS for the first time since it was in the shrine about 3 weeks ago. In about 10 games I got to use it once or twice. The rest of the time I just got juggled to hooks. So that seems like a perfectly fine perk. I'd actually consider it weak.

Hatch doesn't need to be reworked. Stop doing hatch standoffs. If the last survivor finds the hatch and you cannot kill him before he gets there, just give the guy the hatch. It's really not a big deal. No need to cry or hold a game hostage because one person made it out of the match. You're wasting life away by waiting there.

They are both hot button topics which unfortunately generate soooo many repetitive posts that it isn't even funny anymore. While I agree on both your points, I'd rather support some decent change ideas, than have to listen to another 'This isn't fair' post from either side.

It's never going to go away no matter how much we throw logic at it, so bring on something that will keep at least some of the people happy.

But you are correct, the topics are easy, it's just that a large portion of the players don't see it that way.

The hatch should be reworked, otherwise the endgame with one survivor left behind can be problematic. This is what happens: survivor reaches the hatch, they don't jump, the killer doesn't hit them, they indicate the killer to go away with their arm, the killer answers NO by moving their body left and right, teabag, false attack and the dancing event goes on until somebody needs going to the bathroom and let the opponent win! It lacks of decency, destroys the atmosphere of the game: a real stalemate!

I wrote a lot of proposals to guarantee an adventurous endgame:
    1) if the killer is allowed to close the hatch and does so, then:
    1A) another one spawns elsewhere;
    1B) the gates are powered;
    1C) a chest with a Mist Key inside spawns somewhere;
    2) there can be two hatches:
    2A) the hatches open alternatively according to casual timers;
    2B) if the killer closes the first, the second opens;
    2C) if the killer closes the second, the first reopens;
    3) when the killer and the last survivor stay near the hatch more than X seconds, then:
    3A) the Entity comes from the sky to refresh the map, putting the killer, the survivor and the hatch in new positions, far at least 48 meters from each other;
    3B) the killer can mori the survivor and the survivor can escape without being grabbed: the quickest or smartest player wins;
3C) the game ends with the victory of the player with the worse rank (because they have been able to draw against a better opponent).

About Decisive Strike, my idea is simple: it shall not be an obsession perk, but you cannot use it until you perform a safe rescue (like Deliverance).

I really like the fact that you have obviously taken the time to think about this from both sides of the game. Great job.

  • Holding the game hostage never works with me, I'll sit there and watch something on my laptop till they get bored and do something, or mistakenly think i'm afk. Obviously for those that have a time constraint that's not so much of an option but it really does annoy them when you won't play their game.

Had a 4 man swf kick my ass up and down Myers map as i was learning piggy, fair enough, they earned the win. But i have a rule, if you teabag and / or flash click me at the gates, no extra points from that last hit at the gate for you, because i really dont care about my own bp. So after declining to judge the butt dance Olympics, i went and found a nice out of the way corner and crouched. Two left, the other two did all the usual attention grabbing crap survivors do, jumping vaults etc, meanwhile i was watching GoT

It took them half an hour to find me and resulted in one of them getting hooked and myself apparently being reported for 'bad sportsmanship' apparently.

I can't really offer much more advice that hasn't already been given, but if you get the chance, just try turning it around on them, and remember, recording crap like this is just a share button click away.

On a side note, Claudettes aren't 'radiant', we love stealth.

    • moves back to my natural habitat *

Nobody is ever going to mistake you for them dear....wait....where'd they go? 0.o

  • Why should you disarm totems?

Well, actually you don't have to, you can walk past the usually highly visible and still not very well placed dull totems if you want to, nobody is going to hold a mori to your head and force you to.

But if you are going to ignore the actual counter to the perk then you really have 0 legs to stand on when it comes to complaining about NOED. Half the time it works because people don't take the few seconds to disarm totems, and you don't exactly have to go searching for them most of the time given that,as mentioned before, a lot of them are still badly placed.

Every killer has the RIGHT to use NOED, it is a perk and it is there to be used. Just as any survivor has the RIGHT to use DS, SB, SC, because they are perks to be used. Do we find these perks frustrating and annoying, hell yes we do, on both sides, but frankly that's the nature of the game, if something works, people are going to use it.

I actually think @Global is right when it comes to comparing hatch to NOED. Both give a last chance hail mary, both can be countered. Perhaps I'm just a noob, scrub, naive, idiot, I'll accept that if it means i spend more time enjoying the game than declaring pretty much every aspect of the game as unfair any time it challenges me.

Apologies if that sounds a bit acerbic, my jaw is killing me and for once I really don't care if i get a thousand lol's for saying that I'm sick of seeing all the whining in every damn post.

  • Happy Halloween, I'm setting up my horror movie playlist as we speak, may your day / night be spoopy fun!

  • Ah another Radiant bait post. Must be a day ending in Y.

More than anything I could possibly every want as a killer:

As much as Aliens will always be my favourite franchise i think @HellDescent is correct, there would literally be nothing you could do against one of those glorious bastards. I'd still squeal like a teenage fan girl 5 seconds before one ate me though <3

  • None, i deal with whats put in front of me every game, which is why i can legitimately say I haven't once DC'd. That isn't to say i don't understand the annoyance of some offerings, but i prefer to just shrug and get on with it. Ain't worth the hassle of getting riled.

  • @fcc2014 I had dental surgery yesterday, your post made me laugh for the first time since then. Hurt like freaking hell but totally worth it.....i cannot stop looking at those gifs.....

If you're ever around for KYF hit me up, i could use more laughs in this game.
