The Perk fixated will very good counter her

The UI rendering is somehow not exactly in sync with main game thread I guess so when you don't achieve solid 60fps it stutters

Many dream pallets don't have collission. If you clip through it, it's probably a dream pallet.
That's not true at all.

True, but still her power even with purge just feels underwhelming, she is pretty much a fully auto huntress
What are you talking about, Plague is not as slow as huntress, can injure several people at once, throw over obstacles AND has quicker cooldown AND does not have to "reload" hatchets... Corrupt purge is very very good, but sadly survivors deny you this power easily

Patchnotes:

There, your spoilers for the patchnotes, the next szuff will be revealed soon
No new map?? No new status effects??

Now calm down everyone. Of course, when you don't play at rank 1 daily and vs some top notch survivors, "everything may be fine for you".
But imagine playing the game for years (like I do) and constantly go against 3 to 4 man swf with combined 17000 to 23000 hours, the azarov maps and farm maps are not fun and you can basically barely "win" (2 kills) with nurse, every other killer you lose (even spirit) and have to accept that fact. This is how the game is balanced right now and I accepted it a long time ago.
The devs clearly balance around rank 10 and that's the problem. I doubt even one of them has the experience / skill to go against 5000 to 7000 hours survivors on farm maps, optimizing every loop at least 3 times and using every window to full extent, basically making no mistakes and falling for no mindgames because that's a fact with that many hours. Nothing killer can do here. Spirit fury is a joke and countered easily, Bamboozle just forces more pallets but there are enough anyway...
And that's not even considering meta perks survivors use (DS, Borrowed, Adrenaline, Dead Hard, etc.) plus one to two survivors with unbreakable (you can forget slugging), one survivor with key sometimes, one with fast toolbox and one with map for totem (forget ruin).
That's also the reason why with the current balance this game will NEVER be E-Sport ready, not even close.

What do you guys think about the character models? I feel like Steve's model is a bit better than Nancy's but it's still decent
What particular do you not like about Nancy? Just curious

This perk will very likely get a nerf very soon after release. -remember my words

The game is fun without ruin.
Yes. For survivor

From the trailer it looks like the new map has Raytracing enabled!! Hype #RTX
-
Just look up AWS datacenters you will see where they are located
-
This map actually isn't too bad, ofc you shouldn't go for the chase in the main building but the layout is relatively small and weaker killers benefit greatly from it (Trapper, Bubba, Doctor)
-
Nurse (confirmed Addon rework), Maybe Ghostface or Spirit

They may have gotten Bloodpoints compensated back to them from lost of progress.
That has happened in the past. The Devs will send them a big chunk of BP. Most likely legit.. If someone was gonna cheat it, they probably would just give themselves 999 999 999.
Ok thanks, wow I didn't think you would get 20 million but ok

Yeah you're right. The achievement is named Vulture.
That you can achieve without "stealing" it, just take it when survivor is sacrificed, etc..

@JESUS_CHRIST said:
I think it's an achievement. .
Can you clarify this?

One of the funniest things to do is... When your injured and you have a crappy item in your hand.. and the person coming over has something in their hand..
drop your item in front of yourself just before they try to heal you.
Might get yourself a something new.
Thanks for that tip! Hehe..
Another one is: if the back of the chest is accessible, when other survivor opens it and searches it, you can go behind and take the item before they have the chance :P
-
Thanks for all the acknowledgement! Nice to see I'm not alone with these problems :)

Just have fun :3
I will try! But often (sadly) not possible

Leatherface needs some QoL changes, not just Addons in my opinion

There have been no nerfs to Freddy between the PTB and live.
If they start fast vaulting before hitting the snare, they will continue to fast vault the window. (They are locked into that animation as soon as they press the button.) If you place the snare away from the window slightly, they will hit the snare before being prompted to vault.
Thanks!

Better pick up the phone, I called it! QA at it's best (again, sadly)

IIRC, the devs added a 5-second cooldown to all audiovisual notifications.
Thank god!
-
You can't compare her with Freddy... You know Freddy is a joke when he has to use his power to even be an M1 killer :O
-
Or is it just me?
-
Because with legion you can be more "precise" when / where you get stunned
-
I just start a overlay counter with a hotkey and when it counts down from 60 I know exactly when to pick up ;) also for Borrowed time it makes it a breeze
-
Just trying to understand, when it is considered a "normal M1", why did the nurse AFTERWARDS also get stunned?
-
@Hoodied said:
It is called phantom grabbing
Originally she was gonna grab tru3lalent off the exit gate, but he released faster than the grab animation could happen and latency took place, causing the issue to happen
Why does in this situation the killer (host/server) not win? Once the grab animation starts, there should not be a way to cancel it
-
I thought Ruin would actually help stop the genrush at high ranks
-
Will never happen, as it's already a nightmare to balance 4v1. Why do people still ask these questions?
-
@FireHazard said:
@Snapshot Like @ABannedCat said, its a common bug where if both the Killer does a fast lunge and the Survivor gets off what they're doing at the same time it will show you grabbing them but then it just turns into a fast lunge.
This only happens when both the Survivor gets off the gen, gate, totem, etc. And the Kiler fast lunges them to pick them up AT the same time. For Nurses case, she hit the survivor and it registered as a grab but since what I said happened it just turned into a hit. This simultaneously stunned her and had her go into the "wiping blade" animation and soon after actually did the regular stun animation at the end.
For how long has this bug been in the game now?
-
@ABannedCat said:
Bug
I have had that before while playing Nurse myself. It usually happens when you were supposed to grab the survivor off something (exit gates/generator), but the game is like "Nope, no grab for ya".
But it did hit, not grab?
-
Yeah, nurse desperately needs an ultra-rare so she can 1-hit survivors with a chain blink attack /sarcasm off
-
Thanks for clarifying this! I knew some of the answers were not entirely correct :)

Except it's not as much of a bug as an exploit in map design/tile placement. Like when an unnamed YTer would sit under the drop on grim pantry and keep killers held. It's a design bug, but THEY were exploiting it to an advantage.
It's absolutely bannable seeing as NOBODY is supposed to be standing on pallets. Survivors and Legion can vault them, but walking on them is obviously not intended.
That is an ENTIRE different situation as in your described scenario the survivors are holding the game hostage, but in my case it's just an advantage, not even an unfair one as the survivors and killer can do the same, it is not holding anything hostage so it isn't breaking any rules. Only an unfair advantage would be considered illegal

@powerbats tbh if the survivor can't see the killer standing ON TOP OF THE HOOK then they deserve to get downed. This is definitely not intended since it isn't really useful but being on top of pallets on an invisible ledge is definitely an exploit.
What invisible ledge? The pallet is DROPPED, so you can just stand on it. You don't abuse any glitch/bug/hitbox edge case because you just drop off to the side of the stairs , which is legit, or is there any rule preventing that? Please advise me on the rule
-
@AsheruSwiftwind said:
If the killer has already started the hook animation you will not get the DS. It's the same thing when a survivor heads for a window vault and you hit them to down them they will get the vault animation then drop to the ground.
Thanks, so intended design.

@Boosted_Dwight said:
Must have been a glitch.
Just wanna know if it is intended or not, because you can reproduce it / apply it as killer and I don't wanna get banned

@KillermainBTWm8 said:
DS doesn't work in KYF if that is what your talking about.
No, normal public match. I don't know if I should describe the way as a killer to avoid DS (situational, but very handy), as it could get me bannd maybe..

It's considered an exploit however and I've seen killer doing it in game as well as on video and it's basically the same as survivors climbing rocks. The killers on here say exploit for when survivors climb rocks then do the same.
The devs have stated climbing on the rocks to avoid the killer is an exploit and thus bannable.
You compare Apples with Bananas. Dropping onto a pallet is not even close the same as climbing up a rock to hold the game hostage. The killer does have NO incentive to stay on the pallet, as the survivors can just run away while other survivors rush gens. What is your point here? Even as a survivor you can drop onto the same pallet, with Dead Hard. Then the killer can simply break it. Exploit? I don't think so. Clever use of game mechanics? Yeah.
I have to add: the pallet is already dropped, otherwise you cannot get ontop of it.

@Warlock_2020 said:
You could grab them as they jump. Did that before to a Nea who tried to leave the party early, but I keep an eye out for keys.
I look at it like this, I can bring a mori and their only counter is to not get caught. They can bring a key and I can counter with Franklin's, or kill them before they can get the hatch to spawn. I still have the advantage.
You cannot. It got patched out. RTFM!

Its only a bannable exploit if you purposely try to recreate a known bug. Its not his fault that:
A - The survivor DCed. Maybe if the devs punish DCs, it wouldn't happen
B - The Bug occurred. Its not a bug that he has any control over reproducing. If its bannable, then survivors can DC against anyone running agitation in an attempt to get them banned.
C - BHVR's game is buggy as #########. Are we gonna start banning survivors for exploiting the weak auras on Ormond? Or for abusing killer shack bug? Are we gonna start banning any killers that swing at windows/pallets to exploit host advantage and get hits?
Just play like normal. If survivors don't DC, this bug doesn't occur. You can't purposely recreate it, so you aren't exploiting it.
Thanks, very good points
-
@ba_tetsuo said:
Just go with it. No one is punishing the DC, and you're not purposely exploiting this bug, so....
You kinda are, .. indirectly. The survivors in post-game chat surely reported it as hacking and didn't buy the story

Probably farm with the remaining survivors and then report the bug.

@Someissues said:
They DC against anything. not just legion, I had DCs when i play Freddy, Pig etc as well. They DC when they know they are losing etc, no need to show survivors any mercy
They DC to keep their items permanently, so they had infinite toolbox/ flashlight, its technically Cheating
until dedicated server comes this will never change
How would dedicated servers change anything about that? DC is DC. If they implement a punishment, they could also implement it now. Could you enlighten me?

Technically it is "vaulting", as you do not stay on the pallet, but just go over it to the other side?
