It seems like there's 2 writers. One of them really understands the characters and writes incredibly well, making compelling stories that match the characters, and one of them made the tome for Nurse, Bill, and Pig.
I don't buy pixel's theory one bit, it's too assumptious.

I don't see why Carmina should be confused about what crows are. I live in South America, literally in her country too (Chile) and even in the time period I believe her story is likely set (late 20th century) Chile wasn't some backwater country that wouldn't know what a crow is from pop culture. I always assumed that crows were meant to represent surrealism and intentionally placed there to show that whats happening to her isn't natural, but The Entity's influence.
You're right, the crows very much is The Entity's influence, it's seems like such a dead giveaway frankly.

IMO the observer entries are the best one in all of the tomes, even better than most- if not all of the Killer and Survivor focused entries.
Also the reason for why the entity is taking all of the survivors and killers to it's realm has already been told, it's to use them to feed and sustain itself from the sacrifices that is generated within the trials themselves.

What's wrong with Pig's story? I thought it was good
Personally i didn't think it was bad, just not very interesting.

tbf, there's always bug fixes on mid-chapters as well. So it's more like 1.5 months. Still slow.
Not to mention the two bug fix patches that we get after every big update.

There hasn't been a game with king's work included in 2 decades now, i don't see a reason why that would change suddenly.

Recently BHVR have shown that they cannot take criticism, they view it as "personal attacks" so I think that they dismiss a lot of valid criticism because they somehow see it as people being "mean".
Someone had their twitch shirts removed because they dared to give valid criticism and did not personally attack any devs. It would seem to me that BHVR would rather been seen as defensive and unable to handle criticism than they would as people who listen.
Of course, people do personally attack them but BHVR's problem is not being able to distinguish attacks and criticism.
- There's a difference between constructive criticism and unconstructive criticism, making multiple videos and posts on social medias targeting a specific developer plus saying things like "I don't understand how he can just sit there and lie to our faces with a sh*t eating grin" isn't constructive in the slightest and does very much seem like attacking. It also breaks the "Be an (exemplary) Dead by Daylight content creator in good standing with Twitch" rule required for having the shirt.

Oof. I can actually see some of those making it in at some point…like Dying Light, F.E.A.R, or Little Nightmare.
I mean they can go ahead and bring them in if they want, they just wouldn't be very interesting to me compared to other IPs they could do.

how so? scooby and the gang deal with actual supernatural ######### all the time... in the movies.
Yes Dead Space, it doesn't interest me in the slightest as a dlc.

I love their design. Hit survivors and run to next survivor for hit more. And i love survivors are mending on my face when i hit them because they know i am running to next survivor. Sometimes acting like leave but cancelling power and chasing this survivor. They are fun with some good builds.
Plague is fun killer but i hate her because she is so loud when i have power. Praying her god, idk but this is reason i am not playing her so much. Except this fun power and good killer.
I assume you love sneaky killers more.
I wish i would be better with Billy. He is just so hard for me. But i love to watch Billy videos, people are amazing with him.
It was which killers you love to play as list but you figured later anyway. :)
@dugman @MrPebbles @El_Gingero @ThatOneDemoPlayer @Nun_So_Vile @hailxsatanxeveryxday @Clueless @Smoe @nikodemo
Thank you for all your lists. It is fun to see people are enjoying with different killers. BHVR sure makes bad decisions, but they're good at making different types of killers that appeal to everyone.
Of course, different strokes for different folks.
Also even for their bad decisions, they still do make goods ones aswell imo.

Good riddance to all pre-rework graphics maps, can't wait for the rest of the old maps to get a visual overhaul and actually look decent.

Althou i don't believe in limiting dlc choices, there are some i generally just find uninteresting, such as-
- Dead Space
- Any superhero comic related villains like scarecrow
- Bioshock
- Ghostbusters
- Us
- Sirenhead
- Scary movie
- Little Nightmare
- F.E.A.R
- Dying Light
- Death Note
- Castlevania

Oh yeah, it is rare to find someone who is still passionate about their love for DBD. I often feel so alone, but lucky for me, I love reading complaints. So it all works out well.
Those of us who do are still here, it's just the ones who don't that are the most vocal.

6) They give a free large soda on the side

Too bad the chainsaw is a power, so it can't get any skins.

From what I know, some words seems to get censored for some but not for others.
I wonder if it has something to do with how much one uses the chat.
-
Good post, only thing I disagree with however is allowing killer to bodyblock while demanifested.
-
I'll never understand mentalities like these.
-
Problem though, it's a licensed character, so they're not gonna make a skin out of it for another different licensed character to wear.

Her new headpiece goes with the torso and legs from her lunar skin imo.

So if I just do that, they won't do gens?
Oh they'll still do gens, it will just go alot more slower than what it normally does and give more time to apply pressure, along with Plague's ability to straightup deny any value out of COH or other healing related perks and end chases faster.

Strawman.
You don't have to face that kind of team every game in order to consistently lose. It's not their inability to go down you should be worried about. It's the gen speed, and CoH. How does an M1 killer survive in this meta? They don't.
Unless you play Plague with gen slowdown build and strong addons.
-
Where have you seen or heard that?
-
Most likely just a bug, not the first time it has happened.

Look how cute she is ❤️❤️❤️
Highly doubt it, It took dozens of farmers to even just bring Kazan down, plus he knows actual military strategies, has superior strength and has real life combat experience, not to mention that he also has some connections to temples and some knowledge of the supernatural, if Spirit requires an exorcism.
Regardless if it was outside or inside the entity's realm they fought, Spirit would lose in the end no matter what, even with her phasing power.
-
There's no need to make any competition out of who's the best when we already know that Oni stands superior in the end no matter what.

I guess that's just the risk of Hex: Pentimento. Some perks are used to counter each other, like Remember Me and Wake Up. Or like when you wanna use a healing build or bring a medkit, then go against Plague.
I just wish it wasn't at the mercy of the Survivors 99% of the time.
-
@ThiccBudhha said:
Well, yeah, a bottom tier killer with a fanfic survivor and mediocre perks IS a bit disappointing on paper. However, Sadako is a legend and the idea behind Yoichi is inspired, ar least. And personally, at least one killer perk is fun and one survivor perk is busted. So, all in all, I rate 8/8 m8. No NFTs, and no performance issues make this the best release since I joined the game, at least!
Is it still fanfic when it's considered canon to ringu lore thou?

Also i think a more interesting question would be, was the DBD crossover halloween event for For Honor canon to either the DBD lore or the For Honor lore?

By that logic Pinhead didn't need to have his voice lines taken or redone either. I was also using her as an example.
The difference between Pinhead and Amanda is that Pinhead's voice is too iconic to not be part of the character, to the degree that not having pinhead be voiced by Doug Bradley feels like the character is incomplete, the same can be said for John Kramer aswell since Tobin Bell's voice is also pretty recognizable too. The same cannot be said for Amanda however, also iirc she doesn't really talk when she's dressed up as the pig in the movies compared to Pinhead who talks whenever he's on the screen.

This is actually true!! In terms of dbd lore, Sadako and Yoichi are canon residents of the Fog, whilst also in terms of canon Ringu lore, Sadako and Yoichi were both taken by the Entity and now continue to exist here. Everything from the Ringu chapter is 100% canon to lore so far and I think that's neat!
All licenses are canon residents of the fog in terms of dbd lore, however Ring is (i think) the first and only license so far that is canon in dbd while also making dbd part of it's own canon. (That alone makes the chapter all the better in my eyes aswell yes)
-
I don't see a reason to get Amanda's actor just to record some grunts and pain noises from getting stunned.
-
Ain't burned out on my end, also the steam chart numbers are gonna stabilize themselves sooner or later anyway, only a matter of time.

That is Sadako! Well her skeleton atleast when she was found in a well in Ringu
Nemesis in dbd isn't entirely canon to the RE3 version as in RE3 he went after STARS agents, however it would make no sense for him to target anyone else, along with the fact that this skin was allowed by Capcom themselves
Ghostface in dbd is made by Funworld, not SMG (Just checked that one on the internet), and Funworld technically let their ghostface be canon to dbd, so Danny isn't the ghostface you see in the scream films
And Michael with a blight skin could look really cool, everything in DBD isn't canon to the films so how is it a problem, if anything you could just not buy the skins
Actually it seems that the ringu lore for DBD has become canon to the movies as the license holder was interested in continuing the story after Ringu 2.
Althou i do agree that the skin most likely is not.

You need to get blood first.
Even so the rage still fills up over time even without blood, also Kazan has actual military tactics, real life combat experience, superior strength and he had some connections to temples and some knowledge of the supernatural should spirit need an exorcism, Also let's not forget that it took about a dozen farmers to take him down.
In a match against one another either outside the entity's realm or inside the realm where they are both powered by the entity, Spirit would still lose in the end regardless, only difference is that it would just be a closer match because of her phasing.

Agree with your sentiments.
But the devs have done nothing to help themselves with some of the attitudes displayed.
I.E colourblind mode video and the go play Civilization video as well.
The attitude just shocks me, as a consumer and as i've gotten older (im 38) i find myself less tolerant of crap behaviour from businesses, to the extent that i won't give them my money anymore. I've walked past stores that have something i want cheaper than another store but i'll refuse to give them any of my money and pay more elsewhere.
It does have to go both ways, yes it is a business and businesses are there to make a profit, so i get the need for content to generate cash, but you'd think for every bit of new content they would look at updating older content to make it relevant.
How many perks are completely rubbish now days compared to the modern ones. Even if it's one a patch just do something with them.
Actually the civilization thing was apologized for not too long after in a blog post on steam.
