    Hey,

don´t get me wrong but im so happy that Devs killed undying Ruin combo. It´s awesome now and if killers play with other combinations of undying the totems get cleared very fast. *thumbs up*

What games are you getting? My matches take at least 20 minutes where I'm the only one doing gens

My god, I just keep shaking my head, like part of me just can't process what I'm witnessing.

It's late here, so I'll probably try again tomorrow.

But as it stands this is worse than the Autohaven update.I used to like those maps.

Now I don't even like my characters??

    Peace <3

    Have a good night!!!

They have a lot to learn because this new update might be almost as bad as when they dropped the Twins in the PTB

That wasn't what I meant. The idea of having a say in something is cool, even if that's not actually the case. Console players have been ignored for the longest time.

With that being said, they'll most likely have to remove this UI eventually or they will lose a lot of players. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't care, but it is what it is.

That's what makes me sad. Us console folks have been ignored the most out of all the players. They'll have to listen or losing a quarter of their player base

I haven't bought a DLC since Clown or SPIRIT. I'm missing half the killer cast. Keep in mind I used to buy dlc for pc and ps4.

That's a lot of money!! I completely understand why you wouldn't want to buy anymore DLCs by the way the game is heading

    Exactly.

I've played since release, and had some time off here and there from the game

This update is just making me think I should play something else for a bit, have some time off again.

    Because I just can't.

I feel you. I want to experience a higher quality game if I buy it for a console but it feels like I'm playing a freaking mobile game rip

The old UI was absolutely not everything that I wanted.

I have issues with the new UI, but there are absolutely some new things being implemented that I think are good.

Still need a totem counter though.

That's the only thing we truly need!!!

  • @Killing_Time said:

Why would they listen to you when you'll keep buying DLC? Talk with your wallet. It's simple business guys.

    No disrespect to anyone!

True!!! Why should they listen if people keep buying DLCs. I didn't buy the new DLC but a lot of people did so I'm not surprised if the next DLC is just as broken

  • @ILoveDemo said:

Seriously what is going on right now, does anybody know what the reason for the heavy Ds and OoO Nerfs (Not "Change") are?

And no a "Killer don't like it" dosen't count. If there is not only ONE good reason for that, then they should go back right now.

I hope they know that the majority of players against the Ds change. Do anyone know what the Devs said about that (the reasons)

@Sluzzy should we leave the game?

Thank you for you opinon @Sluzzy I will copy it here so everyone can see it. Hope it's ok for you.

    Sluzzy wrote:

"When I first heard of the news yesterday and read a picture of the perk description, I immediately thought it was a prank because it was clearly written by a killer main. It was written exactly how killer mains want it. I had to go watch a vod of the stream to confirm it was true because I couldn't believe it was being nerfed yet again and in a way that killer mains precisely want it.

It is not about how it was nerfed that is important here, it is why it is nerfed. Decisive Strike was not nerfed because of balance reasons. The devs never said the perk was too strong, they strictly talked about the fun factor for specifically one side. It was nerfed because killers didn't like the perk. Killers demand to be totally in charge of their opponent and always oppressing them. DS doesn't win the game by having it equipped, it made the experience playing that side a little more bearable. It was a "fun" perk to use but at the same time a "required" perk to use because despite the rhetoric from the killer side, tunneling is the most effective way to win the game. I know because I play killer as well. If I want to win, I can tunnel someone out of the match and there is nothing that team can do. If it is a SWF team, they'll do anything to help their buddy and then it throws the match. I've seen it from both sides since the game released.

With deactivation conditions which I've said on this forum numerous times which the devs have chosen to ignore, a killer can stop chase after a survivor has been unhooked and if they find that survivor with nurses calling, THEY ARE TUNNELING. The perk is useless. They can work on the objective and thinking they are safe, the killer can stop chasing and return to THAT SURVIVOR and TUNNEL. The perk is useless again. A ghostface can hide, wait for the unhook, wait for the survivor to heal or touch a gen AND PROCEED TO TUNNEL, the perk is again useless.

This perk was nerfed for the benefit of one side at the cost of the other side for not balance reasons, but strictly FUN reasons. It has been nerfed at least five times.

So to answer your question, if you are a survivor main or play solo or duo, then you should definitely quit. This side has been nerfed constantly and consistently for five years with total disregard to mechanics freely given to killer that can make this side miserable to play. Instead of nerfing DS, more perks should be buffed to even discourage its use to help against unfun mechanics. Why couldn't Discordance be buffed instead of nerfing DS? Keep in mind, Infectious Freight on Nurse, Spirit, Oni, Billy are all still a thing, Infectious Freight has never been nerfed, keep in mind it can be abused to cause the survivor side to be miserable. The devs and killers think this perk is healthy, obviously, for the game. An insidious camper can still camp with NOED. A bubba can camp someone in the basement and there is no possible out, a killer recently BUFFED! The devs think this is healthy, obviously.

For me personally, I can not wait for Back 4 Blood, I've been thinking about that game a lot since it was announced and this nerf has made me even more excited and can't wait. Guess the best part is of B4B? Characters will not constantly be nerfed in that game, it will constantly improve. When you enjoy something in that game, you won't have to worry about something being taken away from you. Especially after you bought it."

I don't think it will kill the game but it will make those toxic players mad and ######### about it but good riddance. We don't need those type of people here in DBD anyway

Dear Devs. Since 90% (or more) of the playerbase didn't want the new UI or at least wanted to the icons stay in the same spot as before and you guys just threw a "f. off we don't care", we should say THANK YOU.

Why do we even bother with constructive critiscism (seriously, most of comments I've seen about the HUD was on how to improve it or politely asking to "could you not?") when you just shove all that you want up in our (you now where)?

At least you're doing some good balancing decisions with undying and DS.

But again, THANKS for listening to our feedback about the UI.

I've been playing the update for about an hour now and the new UI is absolute dog #########. Looking all around my TV gives me a headache. Oh yeah I'm also a console player

  • @MikaKim said:

If they want to give us this kind of updated UI then they needed to make it customizable. As in decide what information you want, be able to move icons around on the screen etc. Because I hate the character portraits where they are as survivor, it gets in my LoS.

This update OMG, I'm trying to offer something constructive but I just find myself going 'vomit' at most of it.

This update has left me stunned design wise, in a bad way.

I think that's how it works in general with the exposed status though in regards to perks? Or I may be wrong. I know it is like that for Devour Hope.

I think it's also meant to be an element of surprise in regards to perks. Like for Rancour, the auras you get before the last generator is done tells you that you're affected by it. But ones like NO ED and Devour Hope have no indicator otherwise.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1928167#Comment_1928167

As everyone has already told you there's nothing new to bring to the table. Topic has been discussed to death since 2016. The reply was pretty relevant considering the attitude you had and still have you just can't accept it.

Uhm...no. I never refuted whatever you said about past NO ED topics. I simply said it was irrelevant to mine. How other people discussed the topic is irrelevant. You can't accept that and you brought up irrelevant talking points as a result.

It's not my fault your post comes off as someone whose only posting to argue for the sake of arguing. Even in your later post you outright say this thread is about people who say "Do Bones" rather than NOED itself. At that point this thread is you complaining about other players which at that point no it really doesn't have a purpose you just need to get thicker skin.

And so what if it does? If I want to talk about something I will discuss it.

I also love how "getting thicker skin" is a rebuttal to a topic you don't like. You're in my thread complaining about complaining and this is your advice. Lol. I'm vocal about what I don't like and people may think I'm a hard ass for that reason and that's their take, but that's actually not the case. Also, getting "thicker skin" isn't a case here as I'm not offended nor upset.

This community complains all the time. People complain all the time. You're complaining now about the content of my thread. Christ on a clutch this community really has this back and forth relationship between toxic negativity and toxic positivity.

If you understood properly this is referring to the common response of "Do Bones"

That wasn't clear in your response then. Let's take a look:

Saying "Do Bones" is just a way to finally admit - Look, I'm tired of having this conversation about NOED

This seemed like it was meant to be one sentence, and not to. "...to finally admit" looks rather incomplete, and the dash looked like it was meant to interrupt what you were saying.

If you've been here long enough you'd realize it's true - Look at the countless threads about this topic and you'll realize that in fact yes they go no where because people don't know how to put their ego aside.

As I said before, I don't think you understand what I'm saying. I'm not refuting whatever you said about NO ED topics never going anywhere or whatever. I simply said it was irrelevant to my topic and subsequently you responding to me.

Explaining to you what this conversation usually devolves to - Something that should have been a brief post but again you want to argue for the sake of arguing

That wasn't for the sake of arguing, it was because irrelevant points were bringing up. I don't care what NO ED topics were like before. I don't care what is normally said. It is irrelevant.

Again - Explaining to you why this topic is usually dismissed.

An even more irrelevant point, particularly when I BLAME survivors? What is the point of bringing up tripe that's not even in my thread?

How is this survivor biased when I'm basically talking shite about other survivors and not saying one bad thing about killers, let alone the perk itself?

Why bring up totem counters when I never did?

Those things being mentioned in other NO ED threads is irrelevant. Irrelevant =/= Non existent. Again, I never said or implied what you were saying above isn't true. I simply said it is irrelevant.

I'll just assume you've had a bad day and you can assume I've had one - As I've said though..

No my day's been fine. Made some birria and it came out pretty well and I'm satisfied with it.

The real answer here is do bones and if that doesn't work someone on your team wasn't pulling their weight. Regarding being offended at the idea of being told to do bones you shouldn't. It's never meant to be a personal slight against you specifically it's literally just people getting so tired of the same 3 varying topics about NOED. This has been an ongoing debate since 2016 to the point where there is genuinely nothing left to add. You can't just go comparing one thing to another either because one game mechanic does not =/= another. A good example is when you brought up breakable walls in your OP. Doing this is just going to set expectations for yourself that cannot be met.

I do genuinely want you to enjoy the game like I want everyone to. However I'll tell you stop taking such statements to heart because they're not meant to be personal slights. If you feel you can't handle it turn off chat, ignore the forums and enjoy time to yourself or with friends. There's no hidden meaning behind that either I'm genuine when I say that.

It wasn't about being a personal slight, and it also wasn't to say that everyone who says "just do bones" means it this way, but in my other discussions about this topic and observing past ones, I saw many people saying "just do bones" or something of those lines pointing to individual blame. It's not about being offended or whatever but I think when people say it in that manner it is lacking nuance.

I've not been on this forum long, and I've seen already the same topics over again. DS bad, swf bad, comms bad, survivor bad, killer bad, so on. People complain about the same stuff over and over again on this game and this forum isn't an exception, so I don't know why NO ED is of special interest to the repetition.

The comparison was for an analogy, and comparing isn't equivalent to equating. The analogy was to point out how, especially alone, doing totems is not always that simple without some sort of cost.

I did not make this topic over being offended about someone saying this to me. I can't remember how long ago it was, but it's been a while, and I didn't even think about that until reading this tidbit from you. I simply wanted to talk about it for potential clarification, but primarily for a mind dump since it made no sense to me. I don't like saying this simply because I don't like using it as an excuse or whatever but I do have autism and so the way you interpreted what I wrote is likely very different than how I did for potentially that reason, maybe others.

I do appreciate the kind words though. Also I will clarify with my response to Nossy I was wrong on what I said and I stand corrected on that, and I apologise that I was too aggressive earlier. I sometimes get carried away with my internet warrior face.

Devour Hope and No Ed show you're exposed when you get hit. Rancor shows you as soon as the last gen pops. I'm wondering how much harder that would be to add for No Ed?

  • @Kellie said:

Feedback for what? Us console players already gave our feedback on the change by watching PC streamers play on the PTB. We hate the new UI and the new movement.

  • @kyogul said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1928054#Comment_1928054

That's precisely my point. And what I said here:

The conversation is not about should NO ED be changed. It's about the sassy response of "just do totems" when it's not always, and often not that simple, particularly in solo queue. The response in and of itself is not inherently sassy but when people complain about NO ED and whatnot and get mocked at as if it's their individual fault not all five totems were done when it's meant to be a team experience, and it's often not. That's my point.

To clarify, when I said "...and it's often not", I meant in regards to doing totems is not a team experience when there's only one person predominately doing them, at least in my experience. Not that doing totems in general is not supposed to be a team experience.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1928101#Comment_1928101

I'm confused? Already when NO ED is activated it makes any living survivor exposed

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1928106#Comment_1928106

tbh you don't even need perks honestly. I only find people are a little more incentivised to do totems if there's a hex before the gens are done, particularly if it's ruin

Yeah but it will visually show you that you're exposed. Rather than waiting until someone is hit to let them know they're exposed

  • If I run the killer around for 5 minutes and not a single gen pops and I get caught of course I'm going to suicide on hook because I don't want to wait to get saved just so everyone can hide like a p3 Claudette at the slight heart beat while I'm getting chased forever. So yeah I'm not staying in a game where my teammates hide in corners

  • @CashelP14 said:

I think the criticism will eventually get it changed back to the correct one.

Hopefully they listen to us because they have the tendency to just do whatever they want

  • @Dragonshensi said:

Just wondering if people would like the idea of a 8 survivors vs 2 Hunters mode. It would sound chaotic but instead of 5 gens you would need to do 10. Plus the mode would only be available at certain times of the day or make it a once a week event. I think that would freshen up the game tremendously. Thoughts?

I don't think it'll work and just like @Huge_Bush said one will camp while the other one chases which is bad

  • @CashelP14 said:

I'm hoping the change it back within the next week or 2 after this patch. Knowing them it'll stay to the following chapter.

The new UI is complete #########. Hopefully they add some sort of classic mode so we can change it back and forth freely

  • @gendoss said:

Another combo I used to use which was fantastic is Better Together and Prove Thyself. Better together really is awesome in solo queue cuz it brings people to your gens and almost reminds them of gens existing.

I tried better together but it just ends up with the person bringing the killer to you

  • @kyogul said:

Doing this in a SWF is easy as you can say how many totems have been done. On top of that, in the case of some hex perks like NO ED, you can 99% some gens or delay completing all gens until all totems are done to prevent it.

It's a different story in solo queue. You can't prevent anyone from doing generators no matter how much you try. Even if you are relatively familiar with totem spawns and are actively wanting to look for totems, you have no way of knowing how many are done by other survivors without individually checking where each totem is, wasting your time and pretty much not doing any objectives, particularly generators. Also, multiple maps have dreadful totem spawns that are difficult to find, particularly Swamp. On top of that, you still have many totem spots that cannot even be cleansed and they're glitched.

Even with Small Game and a map with add ons, you still have to roam around the map wasting so much unnecessary time that you might as well have done generators, so perks in particular don't help out that much in many scenarios. Detective's Hunch is awesome but not consistent unless the team gets generators done, and it's still a ######### situation to have to bring a perk dedicated to totems because of what I just said. It's like telling a killer player who doesn't like DS to play The Executioner if they don't like DS so much and to get over it. Or saying "just wait 60 seconds 🤪."

It's analogous to if there was a survivor perk that gave 25% bonus repair speed as long as there were breakable walls up and simply telling the killer "jUSt BreAk wAlls." For all you know they could have prove thyself and a good toolbox they found out of a chest. I don't understand how people don't get this.

Any time wasted not pressuring survivors is giving them free pressure on you, and the inverse is true as well: wasting time running around the map for several minutes doing totems is giving the killer free pressure.

It's just ######### advice that lacks any context. You're giving the killer free pressure for a perk they may or may not have, and in some cases it's not even worth trying to cleanse totems because of how the game is going. So when people complain about no ed and hex perks in general and just respond with a snarky response of "JuST dO tOtemS", it strikes me as actually not understanding the nuances of what they're talking about.

There was an idea I saw and it said expose everyone when NoEd is activated and I feel like that's the only tweak NoEd needs

  • @Botiz said:

Man, when this update drops i'm gonna really miss this old UI. The simplicity, how well it works, it was everything you could've wanted.

I seriously don't understand why they couldn't have just said "Hey guys, we're taking your feedback on board and we're delaying the release of the new UI to address the feedback you've given us" instead of just forcing us to play with it.

I understand, they want to get more feedback from console players, but I just imagine there will be a ton of criticism from console players about the new UI too. I'm hoping that they finally realise how many people dislike it including those console players and then revert it with the next chapter release. Even a lot of Fog Whisperers disliked it too.

Many of us are gonna miss it, so enjoy it as much as possible whilst we have the amazing and well-designed UI we have now.

It's funny because they say wait until the whole player base tries it but do they not know that's what content creators are for? Rip the old UI

I"m tired of just not getting good teammates who don't wanna do gens and what not so I need good builds for solo queue. NO kindred

It's Solo Queue. We always get the bottom of the barrel for teammates my build involves Kindred with Iron Will, Sprint Burst/Lithe, Self Care/Inner Strength. My sneaky build is Fixated, Urban Evasion, Sprint Burst and Self Care. Self Care/Inner Strength because I don't want to depend on teammates to heal me

  • I love this idea!! I almost have all my Survivors prestige 3 so I need something else to aim for. The grind will definitely be mood killing but I feel like the rewards would definitely make it worth while.

  • I feel this 100%. I wish they would add some sort of casual mode so we're not forced to sweat all the time. Basically we can try out new perks and new perk builds and have fun with different things without having to worry about any of these things

  • Wraith is a good killer to start with. You're basically invisible and can sneak up on unsuspecting Survivors

  • The only thing Autohaven needs is to be a little bit brighter. I for one can't see ######### when playing in autohaven

  • Honestly Moris needed to be nerfed and don't you worry your little head, keys are next on the chopping block. Now Killers have to EARN their kills rather then just kicking someone out of the game when they still had a hook state left. I'm a rank 1 killer (Demo Main) and I've never needed a Mori to win my matches.

I tried this combo. It gives you bad habit to save your sprint burst. You actually don't need to save it. 40 seconds cooldown is nothing compared to wasting ######### ton of time walking when you trying to save your sprint burst. Best way to save your sprint burst is catch cooldown on last second. In this case you can run plus you have sprint burst ready if you need it.

True. That's why I've ditched SB and found my base exhaustion perk BL. I love it way more because I can run like there's no tomorrow and I can use it whenever I want but there are some maps that don't have spots to use BL. Might have to experiment with Head On soon

If you get really good at looping, and sacrifice some defensive style perks, i like:

    • Kindred
    • Windows of Opportunity (You never know what pallets solos are dropping)
    • Dead Hard (Or other Exhaustion Perk)
    • Open Handed (Extra range on auras) / Borrowed Time / Other

Ahhh Tru3's build. I've yet to try it but I've seen him use it in so many of his videos and it seems pretty decent

  • @Lofepramine said:

I used to run BL too but since there are many maps where you barely get to use it, I switched to Sprint burst (if you use it, just please don't walk everywhere like many others do. Or at least run Fixated with it).

Iron Will and Spine Chill are part of all my builds (I might give up Spine Chill for a challenge but I admit it's quite hard - I'm too used to it - for the awareness and speed boost - it does make a difference, it saved me many times, helping me open the gates faster as the killer was approaching or when time was short - wouldn't have made it otherwise).

    Other perks I use along:

Kindred or Bond (some like to use bond to lead the killer to their mates, I run it exactly for the opposite reason - I'm hoping that teammates will work on gens if I keep the killer away from their location - sometimes it works, other times it doesn't - depending on mates. Also helps when you need to heal).

Inner Strength + Quick and Quiet or Head On.

Dance with me + Lithe or Quick and Quiet (fast vaulting and entering a locker can confuse the killer).

And as someone stated above, Resilience works well with IW and/or Spine Chill.

I still need to level up Jane for head on but I'll definitely be experimenting with Head On. I'm thinking Deception, Quick and Quiet and either Lithe or Head on but I still need to buy Êlode

  • @kaeru said:

My must have for solo survivor is sprint burst. All the rest perks can be anything you can imagine. I can play without sprint burst as well, but it would mean I get only 0.002% chance to escape. With sprint burst chance raises to 6%

My sister loves to run Sprint Burst. I find it detrimental unless it's paired with Fixated. At least you're walking faster while you save your Sprint Burst

    My farming Build would be:

    - We're gonna live forever

    - For the People

    - Prove Thyself

    - Any Mean's necessary

For the People makes you to the Obsession, if you escape or die as the Obsession, you get 1000 or 1500 BP, depends if you die or escape. It also gives 500 BP when used. Yes, you are broken for 90 seconds and probably even injured for longer but shouldn't bother you if you are decent.

Prove Thyself gives you an massive BP boost when working on gens together. Do 1 Gen with someone from 0 to 100 and you'll have 75 % of your Objective Category filled out.

Any Mean's necessary I explained. It gives 500 BP and is hilarious.

    WGLF is an obvious choice.

I also use a Commodius Toolbox with Gloves and Extra Charges. Sabo'ing a hook gives 500 BP and the Gloves prevents the Killer from being notified.

That's a pretty decent farming build might have to try it soon

  • I've noticed this bug in a Streamer's stream

  • Mostly just change Calm Spirit for Iron Will because most killer will listen for your Survivor's grunts when you're injured

  • Funny thing is it's always the opposite for me, I met some pretty TOXIC killers for instance I think I'm doing a pretty good job looping, keeping the killers attention so my team can do gens then BOOM I get downed, put on a hook and face camped. Even tho I didn't tbag once, guess I'm toxic for trying to survive? But I hear you man there are some of those Survivors who do exactly what you described and that's when you face camp them till their dead, it might cost you the game but they're getting their just desserts

Well yeah, Kindred and Exhaustion Perk are always nice. Personally, I stopped using Dead Hard since it always exhausts me on the ground and I don't like the other Exhaustion Perks.

    My Build is:

    - Kindred

    - Borrowed Time

    - We're gonna live forever

    - Any Perk I feel like using (At the moment Any Mean's necessary. It's funny to see Peoples reaction when I drop shack pallet at the start of the match without context. Also, it gives free 500 BP.)

That sounds hilarious. I run WGLF and BT when I'm purely farming bloodpoints along with prove thyself

Resilience pairs quite nicely with Iron Will. I'm personally a big fan of stacking Resilience + Spine Chill.

Funny story I actually was an IW/Resilience/Spine Chill user before I got Inner Strength now I run Kindred/IS

  • I like the Legion, Nea and Ace outfits but the Ultra rare charm is just lack luster. Doesn't deserve the rarity UR, the tiki death cup is an example of an ultra rare charm done right

Because this way forces people to watch DBD streams for long periods of time. I thought they would make the charms time exclusive too, but all we got is console exclusives :/

Yeah an streamers abuse it too. Not mentioning any names but they constantly tell their viewers that codes will be given out at the end of their streams. Isn't the point to sprinkle in codes from time to time? Why force people to stay and watch your entire stream just because they want the charm? It's ridiculous if you ask me

Hi, sorry for this blurb I’m bluekitt and I just signed up and came to the forums because I really liked this game💙 I watched it grow up on YouTube and decided to buy it and play it on PS4. *I think I’m devotion level 5 rn...?* I played this all through high school and I’m now getting my first job. But to see this game with so much potential leave it’s fanbase wanting and criticisms be met with excuses or no acknowledgment is just disheartening.... idk about you guys, but this doesn’t feel like dbd anymore! I don’t care about flashlight t-baggers, or bubba camping me for the 9999th time! I just want the game to live up to its potential and everyone to enjoy playing it. The cross play addition was a godsend, the characters are really interesting and the designs are beautiful! But being handed band-aids and staples to fix my favorite toy is unforgivable. I don’t know if anyone will even see this or care but this is my farewell message to you dbd community. I’m done being patient and complacent with what’s being handed to me. I’m honestly offended this is still titled a horror game when Halloween was just another way to get a few bucks... that was like giving me printer paper for Christmas. Why don’t the devs interact more with us? Why do they seem to not care? I’m sure they really do, most of them anyways. I’m sorry it came to this but this is just goodbye. I loved you dbd community in all your toxic love. Until we meet again, but for now I think I’m just going to play something else.... like civilization 5 or something like cote said.

-I originally wasn’t able to post this in the discord, I asked a staff member if it was ok before hand so I didn’t get banned but I was sent here.

    See ya next hotfix!!

I thought I’d make a discussion post on how everyone feels about dbd as a whole right now. For me now it just feels stale as you could say. The new chapter got me excited, I bought the new killer and played maybe a one or two games of her and got frustrated with the bugs.

I switched to my mains Pyramid Head, Legion ( I do try to play all killers but they are my “mains”). I just don’t feel the same way as I once did before. I have a feeling it’s a number of reasons why I don’t feel the same anymore. One is the community, sure you get some survivors that just play the game to have fun but then you have the survivors who go out of their way to make the killers game miserable and the same goes for killer you can either play normally (which is a very big grey area) or you can play to make the survivors games a living nightmare. Now I’ve got roughly 1.5k hours, I’m definitely no Otz but I’m not a baby killer either. Even when I 4k I don’t feel like I did well or made any big plays.

Secondly I perk meta is also why this game is becoming stale for me. A lot of survivor perks and killer perks get overlooked because they don’t perform nearly as well as the stronger perks (dead hard, unbreakable, sloppy and ruin etc) Every time I am chasing a survivor I always guess they have dead hard and 99% of the time they have it. When a survivor runs away with balanced landing or hits me with head on I’m always like “Oh they had balanced landing nice” (in a good way).

Feel free to roast me or whatever you like but I’m just trying to understand why I don’t enjoy the game anymore by hearing other people’s opinions.

I'm getting tired of it because every game I go into is a sweaty game no matter if I play Survivor or Killer. Then I get these nasty messages in my inbox if I match the Killer's/Survivor's sweatiness. I'm just honestly done when can we have a classic mode where this ######### won't matter and we can enjoy the game and not having to sweat as hard

  • TR is a big issue for me. Fix his TR to be normal sized and up his movement due to the TR being bigger and make a cool down for people who cancel the ADS because players who use him love to spam to gain distance then just hit you with their basic attack. That's pretty much all the problems I have with him

  • @chieften333 said:

It'll probably take them an entire chapter to fix all of these bugs.

So technically we get the 'bug fix chapter'everyones wanting, Yaaay???

    I'm down

  • @MB666 said:

definitely.....we need more Hotfix ...than new chapters in my opinion...if they want to add more skins for me its okay...but plss we need more HOTFIX to let this meme die

Definitely. At least take a chapter or two looking into the game seeing what's wrong with it and fix accordingly. Then give the player a reward for the inconveniences

So, I got the game on my PC lately, been playing for a few years on my PS4, blah blah blah - Rant time.

The grind in this game is so new player unfriendly it's unbelievable. There is so much stuff that is bloated on the Bloodweb, that is honestly feels overwhelming sometimes. The only solace I have is that I was smart enough to pick up Bubba as one of my first DLC's for that sweet, sweet BP bonus. They need to do something. Maybe remove perk tiers, or maybe if you unlock the teachable it instantly appears as a chooseable perk, just at level one. This way they can keep the tiers, if they're really all that important, but it does something to alleviate the grind, even if just a little. I feel terrible for people who legitimately just started and no clue about BBQ (or WGLF).

I 100% the grind is one of the most outdated mechanics of this games many outdated mechanics. As many others have pointed out, the Bloodweb was made for when there was about 20 perks. Not the huge amount of perks we have now. If I were truly a new player, I would definitely be turned off by the huge amount of grind this game has.

Alright, rant over. If you need me I'll be playing Bubba for the next seventeen hours.

I hear you. Luckily I got BBQ on my Demo last week so I'm not grinding as much and WGLF is always on my Survivor build no matter what I'm running because I ain't about the grind

You eat a cookie for every insult you get from DbD matches? 😱 how are you still alive?

It's not as much as you think xD

No need to worry I play like 5 games a day and get insults 2 out of those 5 games so I'm not eating too many of those cookies lol

Usually after the 5th game I get bored of being "sweaty" and I play Survivor for the rest of the day
