Wrong. People keep perpetuating this idea, but it's entirely incorrect. If they don't cleanse, you hit them once, they fall down, and you win.

If survivors are good being broken simply means nothing, they can still get to safe area's and loop her like its nothing. So its more like: Puke all over them, get 1-2 hooks because you caught survivors off guard (if you're lucky) eat pallets for the rest of the remaining gens, have all survivors cleanse so they get a free heal and you have corrupt, fantastic. Oh wait they all escaped

  • What killers do well with make your choice, surveillance and any other tracking perks? Besides barbecue and chili

Surveillance works quite well on stealth killers and high mobility killers. It also works decently with Huntress because some times you can throw a cheeky hatchet across the map and hit somebody.

Make Your Choice again, works very well on stealth killers. Its a blessing on Nurse, Spirit and Hag. It can work quite well with Trapper as well from what I've seen by blocking off some of the area's around the hook.

Doctor isn't bad with MYC either because of his tracking.

  • Legacy and Chuckles

How ever what I hope they do one day is make an "Iridescent" skin for each killer. Like the Iridescent Button for Legion, how its just covered by The Entity.

  • @ClogWench said:

Plag is decent imo. Just takes skill and focus.

She's an M1 killer with nothing to aid her in chase. She can be compared to Legion because survivors don't heal to often against them. And Legion has tracking while Plague has nothing.

  • @LiunUK said:

the plag is fine as is, she can almost oneshot a survivor if you can aim her vomit propoly she is probably high mid tier/ low high tier depending on which platform you use becasue all aim based killers are harder on console becasue of camera speed limits.

Maybe in lower ranks, Plague has the potential to be strong if she catches survivors out in the open. Problem is she's a sky scrapper and you can see her from across the map, she also has a 32m terror radius so survivors usually have enough time to get to a safe spot. She's not in a good spot right now. If there we're a better reason to cleanse, then she'd be good but currently there is no reason to cleanse. You'll just get sick again in no time. If you cleanse you screw up your entire team and possibly yourself, she's low mid tier at best. She's worst than Wraith, Doctor and Trapper

Wraith (Can at least catch survivors off guard)

Doctor (His shock can aid in chase)

Trapper (At least he can block off loops and end chases pretty quickly if you know what you're doing)

  • The hatch probably did spawn you might of missed it on accident, I know for a fact ive done this countless times, by searching for it, give up and instead do the last gen and then hearing it in a place I know I didn't check before/the killer bringing me to the hatch.

  • Possible that some on has access to your account and is messing with you, or its a problem on steam but I've never heard or seen anything like it

Oh... that's why in one game hag gone nuts attacked me on the hook and placed all the traps next to me instead of looking for a hatch...

Not so sure about Jake.. Don't get me wrong his cosmetics before 2.0.0 are pretty bad. But the one's in the store are actually quite nice. And the mechanic/miner one that he's getting doesn't look too bad either.

If thinking of myself as more than an idiot is thinking highly of myself, then guilty as charged.

I mean you're the only one here calling you an idiot. So believe what you want

And I hope you know they could probably only get a hold of the mask and not the robe/the character of Ghostface. I understand you probably want something to complain about but literally no one wants to hear it. Be grateful that we at least got what we got.

  • Any tips to get better at spirit and doctor? Also what perks should I use on them?

Spirit is all about looking/listening for anything. You can find a survivor by simply seeing grass move. I would recommend to try to hit a survivor first before phasing as currently in patch 2.7.1, Sounds are a problem and footsteps are barely audible. For add ons I usually use the reduced activation time. (Gifted Bamboo Comb, White Hair Ribbon and Bloody Hair Brooch) and when possible using the increased reappearance duration and speed add on (Katana Tsuba and Wakizashi Saya). For perks you're pretty open to use what ever you want. Spirit is one of those killers where she's still good without them.

How ever my current build is Save The Best For Last, Make Your Choice, BBQ and Chili and Blood Warden.

Doctor is probably one of the harder killers to get good at. Mastering his Shock can stop loops quite frequently, its all about muscle memory. In fact I think learning to master the doc's shock is harder to do than mastering Nurse. You almost always want to use at least Moldy Electrode, or Polished Electrode. How ever I would recommend Moldy. Takes less time to charge and is just the perfect length to stop most loops. High Stimulus takes way too much time to charge up and isn't worth it.

Also 1 thing I see a lot of Doctors do is walk around in Treatment Mode. You don't want to do this as you are SLOWER. Don't be afraid to walk around in Punishment.

For perks, Doctor is an M1 killer, so any perk that'd help in chase (Enduring, Brutal Strength, Save The Best For Last. Detection perks aren't really needed because Doc is a detection perk himself. Survivors tend to hide in lockers against Doctor because it stops them from building madness, to counter this bring Iron Maiden (I don't think you understand how many time you can find survivors in the basement with this)

My Doctor currently isn't leveled up because I just prestiged him to P3. How ever my build would be: Save The Best For Last, Enduring, Iron Maiden and Corrupt Intervention/Hex: Ruin.

    Hope this helped <3

  • Pretty Sure Hag would be the 2nd oldest killer, or close. Steam Paddles we're invented in the late 1700's. Now this doesn't really help too much because it says in the lore that this is an ancient piece that's been there for years, long before the first inhabitants of the village arrived. How ever one thing that could be helpful is there are light bulbs around The Pale Rose and there are lanterns around the pier and on some of the boats. So maybe around the time the light bulb was first invented (Late 1800's), I know its a long stretch but the best I could find.

  • @Dehitay said:

I understand why what happened did happen. But what I consider stupid is how they try to play it off like it's some great thing that they planned. Bragging about how they can come up with their own original lore for the character as if it's a great achievement. Acting like we're all a bunch of brain dead monkeys is just a sign of disrespect that pisses me off.

Seems to me you think highly of yourself

  • I'll name the perks I use and give an explanation as to why I use them

    Thanatophobia

It slows the game down just a little, with all survivors injured it adds about 12 seconds to a gen which can make a small difference. It also slows down healing which is how I use my Legion, stall the game.

    Sloppy Butcher

Combined with Thanatophobia this perk can make healing go up 41% longer. So instead of a 20 second heal time you get 28.2 seconds. This helps delay the game A LOT if survivors heal, if they don't heal you have Killer Instinct. Which now you have an exact location of a survivor and they're insta down.

    Monitor and Abuse

Shrink your terror radius when out of chase and increase it when it chase, this perk is literally perfect for The Legion. And as stated before, if survivors don't heal you have a tracking ability that pinpoints the exact location of survivors 38m away. I see this as a must have for Legion

    Blood Warden

This perk is very situational and very fun to use. Most of the time when I see it in use survivors tend to body block for each other to escape. With Blood Warden you can now injure every one very quickly thats body blocking and most likely down them, very situational but very rewarding.

    or

    Save The Best For Last

STBFL is very good on Legion since you can gain stacks very quickly. This can work with Franks Mixtape as well because you give them less time to mend, and you gain a stack. You also don't have to worry about hitting your obsession as you gain stacks in no time.

That is the build I mainly use for Legion, how ever there is another one that can be quite fun.. and very annoying to Survivors. I don't need to explain.

    Dying Light

    Coulrophobia

    Sloppy Butcher

    Thanatophobia

Survivors now heal 112% slower with the full effect in play. Make sure you bring Iridescent Button and a Mori. Because then your terror radius is map wide and Coulrophobia comes into play.

    Hope this helps

    lol u sexy curvy

nope, not an exploit, I think is just another bug but nothing u really can take advantage like everytime, just in that very specific areas and not accelerating the killer much (or maybe nothing)

Thank you, I would still like to know more tho like confirmation from a Dev, I totally agree with the points you have of it doesn't really buy much time. As far that I'm concerned there we're no other pallets in the area (From looking back on the stream) so I would of downed her anyways.

  • @slingshotsurvivor said:

Considering a majority of the forum is killer posts whining then yes I can agree 100%.

Looks like you didn't get the message

  • Last night playing as as survivor, the game began with apparently only 3 survivors; 4th wasnt visible in the lobby.

This is not a hack but an exploit that people can do. You need at least 2 people to do it, it is bannable so I wouldn't recommend trying it for yourself.

  • @Plu said:

I agree with everything you said, but im going to add that i don't think we should need FF gauge to be full before we can use it, especially with how easy is it to lose some of the gauge and how long the recharge time is.

I still would like having the old FF movement speed back but i can deal with it being to this current speed if everything else get tweaked, i also think the pin should apply on the same hit that applies DW to the target.

There's a reason why they changed the FF movement speed. They explained this on their most recent Q&A. Legion can now travel 50m in Feral Frenzy, opposed to I believe was 30m. If they kept the 5.28m/s Legion would be able to travel around 70m in FF. Also I think the power activation should be the same as it is now with the gauge being full and just reduce the cool down or maybe charge it 75% before activating. Causing the FF gauge to be activated half way would just bring players to play like the old Legion by using Frank's Mixtape and Stab Wounds Study/Filthy Blade.

    Im just gonna say this:

Just because you've got a 4k against bad survs in the PTB doesnt mean the killer is good.

Im just saying this 'cause I saw by other youtubers that the survivors are playing like potatos in the PTB,so its easy to get a 4K.

I said this cause (maybe) you made a 4K and were like "wow this Legion is good!" But if thats your opinion Im fine with that.

No, I have gotten 4k's with the new Legion yes, but I've also had more bad games with him/her as well. I don't think they're strong but they are (in my opinion) stronger then before. I'd say they're a bit better than Doctor, simply because of they're tracking, they're slight map pressure and their ability to stall the game slightly. Legion has a little bit of everything and thats what I like about this new update.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/417747#Comment_417747

??? So... Are you saying you should get more instadowns when the perk is at rank 1? I'm confused.

    Also:

"Every time you hit a survivor with a basic attack, gain a token."

"A successful or missed attack will consume 3/4/5 tokens."

    wat.

Alright, so the token thing I got the idea from Save The Best For Last. With STBFL, if you hit your obsession when the perk is level 1, you lose 4 tokens. With my idea for the NoED rework, you need 5 tokens for 1 insta down and will lose 5 tokens at level 1, I just realized I made a typo. Thank you xd

  • @BigBlackMori said:

Yet another 'Nerf NOED' thread. Haven't you people gotten enough nice things Killers have nerfed? When will it be enough, when Killer is completely miserable to play? I mean there are two top-tier Killers as it is; do you really want to make them even more mandatory?

I simply just made this thread because I thought of a change and just wanted to know what others thought of it. I play both sides equally and honestly when I use NoED the only times when it really comes into play is when I do poorly in a match, rarely does it come in handy because of the survivors have been gen-rushing 'cause there's no tomorrow. Also Billy and Nurse aren't mandatory, at higher ranks. I have 8 and soon to be 9 P3 killers, Billy and Nurse aren't 1 of them and won't be 1 of them for a while because its hard enough to play killer as it is with 15-20 fps and I get around just fine, in fact I main Wraith out of all killers and 4 man regularly at higher ranks (Haven't been playing much lately, so I'm only Rank 7 killer) Also what do you mean by: "Haven't you people gotten enough nice things Killers have nerfed?"?

  • Btw I was being generous with 2 minutes

  • Adding more time to the mending process, Id like for you to ask a friend for you guys to go in a KYF, and use both blade add-ons on Legion. Get hit in frenzy, mend 4-5 times and tell me, if a 2 minute mend time is fun and fair to go against or not then come back complaining.

  • @Incirion said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/424837#Comment_424837

Besides ten thousand survivor mains whining and crying, can you explain to me the justification behind nerfing Legion so hard into the ground after the last rework of his was almost a buff? (Last Mid-Chapter PTB if you don't recall)

Also you seem to jump straight to conclusions don't you? Legion didn't get nerfed.. He wasn't very strong in the first place, him being an M1 killer is much better than what he had before, without franks mixtape or moonwalking Legion took too long to down some one, this fix made him now have counter play, while still keeping his main focus: Able to go to survivor to survivor as a crazed maniac with a knife. With this change he'll now be one of if not the best tracking killer in the game, with mobility and mind game potential because of his height, he'll also be able to stall the game. Survivors mend timer not going down in the terror radius isn't a nerf, it doesn't change him at all in fact. Because hitting a survivor in frenzy and leaving them will have the exact same effect as it use to be. Also Survivors will have to heal against Legion because he now has 115%. If they stay injured they risk becoming an easy down. And because of his tracking he'll have an easier time finding said injured survivors. Missing an attack while in frenzy shouldn't be an issue, if you miss attacks in frenzy you should be punished for it, not rewarded (Gaining extra distance). His larger terror radius plays in to him having Killer Instinct, combine Distressing and Monitor and Abuse and you got yourself an ability that can pin point the exact location of survivors 48m away. (Thats the same distance as T1 Whispers, or T3 Spies From the Shadows) so with all these changes.. If you look further. Legion will become stronger, not by much, but he'll be stronger.

  • I've not got TOO much time into this game. Maybe around 600 hours. But 500 of that has been as killer.

It honestly just sounds you've had a few bad games and trust me, I feel you. I have 1.7k hours split onto both sides, killer can be stressful, but usually I just take a small break and go at it again, some times maybe take a day or 2 away from killer if I find it that stressful. But what Im most curious about is the survivor buffs you mentioned.. when exactly did the survivors get buffed..? And you do realize that The Plague got more of a buff than a nerf right? She got way more upsides than downsides with her change from the PTB.

  • @Billhilly said:

I think we need to just get over it and find a way to master legion. As most people think Freddy is weak, he is not, and i'm certain the are just scary Freddy mains, that will make you reconsider your thoughts on him. Same can go with legion, we just need to find a way to master him

Just because people say Freddy is the worst killer doesn't mean he can't get kills. Freddy is no where near as time efficient as every killer, and he would be better off without having the dream realm in the first place. He's like Trapper but instead has to wait 7 seconds to get to you.

  • Okay instead of banning players for deciding to use these addons... how about YOU FIX YOUR ######### GAME INSTEAD. Such Incompetent devs.

Its your own fault for being banned if you used these 2 add-ons, first thing you see when logged in the game is the news tab opening on its own showing the latest content added, dev notes etc. At the very top it shows a dev note of if people are using the mend exploit or 2 killer exploit they can potentially be banned, don't blame the devs for being ignorant.

  • Before you say “just don’t get greedy for the stun” most of the time you have to drop the pallet at boom you get hit through the pallet.

Want to know what happens when they add immunity when dropping pallets? Pallet vacuums. Pallet vacuums gave immunity to damage, if you got hit that was latency. You could literally ignore a trap with pallet vacuums. Just go right through them. Also theres no such thing as hitting a survivor through a pallet as a killer, unless you play KYF and you're not the host. You'll hit the survivor in maybe a millisecond after they'll drop the pallet, making it seem like you hit through it but its all just done really quickly. On the survivor side, on your screen you threw down the pallet but on the killers, it didn't send that yet, so he'll get the hit then stunned. On the survivors it could be they get the stun and get hit at the same time, its all latency.

No, he is indeed garbage now I'm sorry you're wrong. I just wrote an essay on why he will be abysmal if you want to argue this point.

Legion was never a top tier to begin with, he was already low-mid tier at best. Simply because he has a little bit of everything, how ever Legion will actually have a killer he can relate too and that's The Doctor, Legion will now have tracking, and will be able to get a first free hit. Now the argument is he basically becomes an M1 killer, there are perks to aide with that. Enduring and Spirit Fury will actually be more useful on him now, he can also use Frenzy to close gaps. Sloppy Butcher will most likely be a good perk as well, before survivors didn't really have to heal as The Legion would skillfully get them downed just as fast as if they we're fully healed. Now, a survivor will have to Mend and Heal. If they don't heal they risk being an easy down, as now he has 115% movement speed. He also has the potential of mind games being shorter than most killers. Places like the haybales on Coldwind, or the area with the 2 dumpsters next to the exit gate on The Game will be great for mind-games. The only problem I have with this change is the fact that missing an attack will cancel the power. Remove that and Legion has the potential of becoming even stronger than he is now.

  • @RIP_Legion said:

Hey guy's, I heard we wanted a new tier to make fun of how garbage something is. I give you the "L Tier". He's just another M1 killer now, he has no real tools to apply more than 4 pounds of pressure, if you run Iron Will you have nothing to worry about from Legion because hurr durr no mend drain in massive 32 meter terror radius (no reason to increase it, if it stayed at 24 this would have been the answer to moonwalking). No blood during frenzy is fine, increasing the recharge time and duration is fine, harder to frenzy down over and over but this makes it easier to hit more than one person. One miss and your done is complete garbage specifically if you play Console it's why you almost never see Nurse on there because the hit reg is unoptimized trash. Frenzy speed reduction with more recovery is just icing on the pain cake. You know a killer is gonna be complete garbage when even survivor mains are asking for you NOT to go this far. For all you shi***s cheering the death of Legion 2 things are gonna come of this change, more bs killers are gonna be used/even more Frank's mixtape because that wasn't touched of all things, and people are gonna just straight quit till they rebuff him.

Not many people are gonna quit simply because they're changing 1 killer... He wasn't healthy for the game in the first place and nobody has even tried the changes yet, and they're probably not final. Remember when Legion first came out? Every one thought he was the worst killer in the game until they realized he was better (especially with Frank's Mixtape) Also are you saying that Legion wasen't a BS killer? So you think that a killer with no counter play is fun to go against? He's boring, no matter how good you are, that Legion no matter how much they suck will catch you. Honestly, every one complaining about Legion makes me think of a child just looking at something on their plate and already decided that they don't like it without even trying it. I do agree the changes are harsh, but at least there's counter play now.

They should always care about how weak something is, people won't buy it and play it..

Legion is weak currently, I still play him. Unless now Legion will be so weak that he won't even be able to injure survivors, then I would understand. But Freddy is the weakest killer and for good reason, but people still play him. Look at any other game, people will play weak characters, because not every one cares about winning, or being the best. They just want to have fun and not see a game as a chore.

Right now it looks like it will be enjoyable for only survivors side. Thanks for another ruined DLC.

You're acting as if you've played with the changes already. I understand you don't like change but looking for the negatives in every thing is not the way to go. Also we have no idea how the killers will be played with The End Game Collapse, only time will tell.

  • The changes I find are pretty good but there are some holes that need to be patched up, I find that making Frenzy longer is a good thing. How ever since you're making Deep Wound paused when in the terror radius, do you plan on making the Mend time longer? Or maybe Make the Deep Wound timer longer, and only make it so your fellow survivors can Mend you?

  • @Ihatelife said:

We want a rework. Not a nerfs for already weak killers.

And the devs want to make the experience more enjoyable for both sides, and don't care how strong or weak a killer is.

  • @Chrysaoraachlyos said:

My problem is that he was the only killer that was actually enjoyable to play, and now they're completely destroying all the best aspects of him as a character. Honestly, I see way more complaints that he's a weak killer than I do about him being too hard to beat, so I really don't know why they've gone and slaughtered him.

I liked the smaller terror radius, it allows me to sneak up on people better, and makes sense with the fact that he looks and acts like a survivor. There are other killers with little to no terror radius, so it wasn't an issue.

While it was a bit annoying how slow the Legion walks normally, Frenzy more than made up for it, and now it really won't, even if they upped the base speed.

I do like that they made the Frenzy longer, and it's fine that they want it to completely refill before you can use it again, but they're making the recharge time longer, while it already takes quite a while. The fact that every little thing ends the Frenzy is annoying, and they've made it worse by making a missed attack also end it when the super fast recovery from missed attacks was one of the really good parts of Frenzy.

There is literally no reason the Deep Wound timer should be paused in a chase, it's long enough that survivors have ample time to lose the killer and mend themselves, and if they can't lose the killer they were going to die anyways so? I don't know why they bothered, it was fine.

They really just should have left the Legion alone and slaughtered someone who was actually OP.

Saying that he's the only killer that is enjoyable to play is an opinion, I personally have fun with him but not as much fun as a killer like the Spirit or Wraith (Those are my 2 favorite killers for me currently) also people have been wanting a change simply because he has no counter play to his ability. Pallet? Ignores it. Window? Ignores it. Stealth? Killer Instinct. He was not hard to beat but more of a chore to deal with. Sure it was enjoyable to play as him but not against him. Also the Deep Wound timer should pause during chase, if it wouldn't he'd be even more of a chore to go against, theres already no counter play to Moonwalk Legion other than No Mither, which just to run 1 perk to counter 1 killer is not ideal.

Legion needed change, I personally am happy with the changes and I think he'll even go up in the tier list depending on how slower he is in frenzy and how much they bumped up the duration/recharge.

no the terror radius is not a buff it is a nerf because of this. this right here make that terror radius a bad thing

    Deep Wound Update

    • The Deep Wound timer pauses for survivors within The Killer's Terror Radius–regardless of whether they are in a chase or not.

Mending will be like the Pig's traps, it will be used to stall the game and not actually to kill. I will agree this change will be bad, but with a longer mend time this would be solid

  • @fUNERALfLOWER said:

There is plenty that can be done to counter Moonwalking if some thought is put into it. If the DEVs can come up with a solution that makes a difference I'm all for it, but totally neutering the Killer's arsenal is not the way to go.

There is plenty to counter Moonwalking Legion? And you're the only one on the forums talking about it? Something is not adding up...

  • I see nothing wrong with the changes here and "its already hard enough to catch survivors in frenzy" what world do you live in?

Depending on how long his frenzy will last and recharge, this is a buff. He will have better chase potential with 115%, Mindgames over tall walls because of how short he is (he already had that) and he'll be able to stall the game.

  • We'll just have to wait and see how it plays out. So far I can see people using Feral Frenzy to apply Deep Wound, then get closer to get a swing. Remember that their chase capabilities are gonna be much better with 115% movement speed. I can see Legion becoming a strong killer, depending how much longer the recharge and duration his Frenzy is now.w

Vaulting is a form of defense. Infinites are a defense, but they are braindead and easy to use. Even if the Entity blocks it, it takes so long to get a Survivor to vault enough times to get the vault blocked. And even then, that's temporary...

T walls and L walls can be predicted and punished.

The reason why he saying that is because an infinite for a survivor is pretty much like a moonwalking Legion, its a braindead tactic with no counter play

I never noticed that it was seen as 'too slow' to begin with? If anything, it was much faster than the current animation, if not, the same speed.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/418871#Comment_418871

Regardless, if it was really necessary to change the animation to suit the new base speed, it would've been easier and more smoother to remove a few keyframes in the animation rather than reworking the thing entirely and making it look worse.

The animation was changed because of the reasons others stated above and before the trappers setting speed was I believe 5-7 seconds, now its 2-3 seconds. (I don't know the exact numbers) But the "new" animation is faster 100% And just imagine the old trapping animation but instead done slowly, he bends down in 1 second, opens that trap up in another second, and quickly gets back up. It would look pretty darn stupid if you ask me. It still does look quite stupid with how fast he sets up a trap.

People don't want to cleanse totems because it slows the game down? Hardly, you have a cleansing time that is very short and has no skill checks. You have tons of counterplay even if it activates cause you didn't cleanse totems. You can still dodge, loop, leave the game since that is what you should be doing when it gets to the point noed is actually issue. You can just cleanse the actual hex totem itself cause it always spawns in a the worst spots. Not to mention that NoED isn't getting reworked no matter what is proposed as the devs have stated that it is in a place they want it to be currently.

It was just something I thought up and I decided to post on the forums, also I wanted to change the perk to reward skillful play. Some players that are new to killer can easily pick up NoED and make up for their many mistakes. Still appreciate the feedback ;)

If You gain token the prerequisite shouldnt be Hits but hooks Instead. Getting exposed status and slight speed Bonus after 7 hooks, after 4 hooks slight speedbonus, under 4 hooks nothing. This would reward good killer Instead just punishing good survivors and rewarding Bad Killers.

M1 Hits are bs as prerequisite.

If it we're to be hooks then you might as well just use Devour Hope. Because you don't have to wait until end game.

With the introduction of The Collapse, endgame will be changing so we can assume that NoED will be changing also.

The devs have already said that the perk is fine in its current state with the counter it currently has.

You can keep discussing it if you like, but NoED won't change until it needs to.

I'm personally fine with the perk. I just find others don't appreciate it as much. I mostly play killer and usually when NoED comes to its full potential its when I did poorly in a game. Rarely does it come in effect when I do well and Im just against a strong team. Also what do you mean "The Collapse"? Also also keep up the good content <3

So it's possible to gain 28 tokens?

1 totem required for the perks to even be active, and 27 hits on survivors?

Does the dull totem become active once the gates are powered?

The totem is no longer a Hex perk, it just gives an additional 5 tokens if all 5 dull totems remain

So basically it's a last, one time chance, for a killer to insta down a survivor?

The movement buff is a nice compromise, but the potential to down all 4 survivors, should they decide to get close enough, for a one chance hit or miss, isn't much of a compromise.

I have 10 tokens (or is 5 the maximum?) when the gates are powered: 2 totems left, and I hit survivors 8 times.

    With 2 totems left and 10 tokens I, as the killer, have 4% increased movement speed. All survivors have the exposed status. I swing at a survivor;

I hit, the survivor goes down and I lose 5 of my 10 tokens?

I miss, the survivor escapes and I lose 5 tokens?

With 5 tokens left, do I maintain my speed boost? Do the survivors still have the exposed status?

    With 5 remaining tokens, I swing at a survivor again;

I hit, the survivor goes down, I lose my remaining 5 tokens, I lost my speed bonus, remaining survivors lose the exposed status.

I miss, the survivor escapes, I lose my remaining 5 tokens, I lose my speed bonus, and the remaining survivors lost the exposed status.

What about incremental token status...like having 13 tokens. As a killer do I get 3 swings, hit or miss, for the exposed status for the remaining 3 tokens with a reduced speed bonus?

    Need more information.

There is no maximum amount of tokens that can be gained, if you don't have enough tokens to down a survivor, you lose your ability to insta down but you will keep the speed boost. If you have 4 tokens and your NoED is level 3, you have 1 insta down.

The 3/4/5 tokens thing is to indicate Level 1/2/3

  • Points have nothing to do with Emblems. You say theres 1 gen left but how long exactly did it take? You would of gotten a silver Gatekeeper at best. A gold in Devout. Malicious is a tricky 1 to calculate. Depends if you almost always had a survivor on a hook or did you get all your pressure late game. And for an Iridescent chaser you got to remember that you need to be in 22 chases in 1 game. If your red/purple ranks, makes sense you safetied, but anything lower and I could understand why you're confused.
