Killers having a chance against swfs doesn’t mean the killer is broken. Rivercivers latest video also shows why Judgment (and a couple of other killers) are way to babified. He has good points on why these killers suck again decent teams most of the time and why the current design of killers suck.

Well damn ain't that something

Yeah there's a cosmetic collab happening later this year I believe. It was announced during the anniversary livestream and we know that Artist is getting a Lilith skin
-
I mean were getting a Diablo collab if you weren't aware of that

The issue is with this build is you don't get zealous, which is quite important for judgement so I won't be using this build personally.
Typically what Ive found still works is alternating between Exile and Hooks. That way they cant save 2 people at once and you still have the benefit of hooking perks
-
Something else I noticed is Wraith is also a little different. Faster uncloak Im not as sure but it looks faster than normal, but when they show him vaulting/breaking it most definitely is faster than base. Makes me think they might make some of his add ons basekit
-
When I imagined this killer I always thought it was gonna be something like the Void where the killer could also go into and out of Exile through different shrines. A shrine would become deactivated if a survivor would steal an artifact from them which would have a similar gimmick to Vecnas Hand or Eye, and also make them be vulnerable to be sent to Exile. Upon being downed the artifact would return to the shrine and the portal would re-open.
Im a little disappointed they werent as ambitious with the artifacts and exile, but I do think the power is still neat in the end

Try going into a VC with a group of friends and just talk. Sure you might not be able to 100% lock in but eventually youll play to a similar level of your normal self while also taking the game a lot less seriously. If anything, it might make you play better since stress and frustration can hamper performance.
-
Probably because its best if they only reveal something when they are positive they got a good grip on a license. It would be extremely disappointing if they made an announcement of the characters return, only for them to double down due to something out of their control.
Funnily enough I think Terrifier is sort of in a similar situation but idk the full extent of that ordeal

You can always just switch to another killer who's quieter while already in Q

I agree but am I crazy or is there an alternative "fixed" version of suffo pit? I swear I played on it a few times a couple months ago but haven't seen it since.
There's 2 variations of each MacMillan map that they got rid of like 2 years ago alongside the other variations of Badham, Ormond, and the Yamoaka Estate. You can still play em in customs

My opinion? Stop trying to force people to play games when they clearly aren't having fun. Don't force a killer to play with a bully squad. Don't force a survivor to play with a killer tunneling and slugging at 5 gens. Anti-quit was supposed to make the game "better", but in reality all it does is make people miserable.
When you press the ready button, 4 other people are expecting to play against 4 other people, not bots. If youre not having fun, get off the game entirely and dont ruin it for the others that are actually trying to play the game

Ok, for a long time I've seen people DEMANDING nerfs and never show their gameplay on why. Just cry and wants to get their hand held. It's where the majority of the frustration has come from on both sides but I whole heartily agree if someone is going to demand nerfs they must show THEIR footage on why. This is because I don't believe that 99% of the nerfs in DbD in the last few years were even needed and do believe that these cries for nerfs are from user error on those that cry. Agree or disagree on this?
As someone who has already posted their gameplay when someone tried to do a "gotcha" moment, it doesnt make a difference. Someone who "wants to be proven wrong" dont expect you to actually do it and when you do, they still dont back down.

I always assumed they picked the variation that was closest to their 60% goal when looking at their numbers.
Have they ever stated why they went with III?
They went with 1, aka the original version of the map
Either way, all 5 of em were dog.

So many things that I love with Trickster. Been playing lots of him recently with Edge of Revival and hitting crossmap injures and sometimes even downs is probably one of the most satisfying things in this game. Hitting through small gaps as well is always nice. Sound wise, the rank up chimes are great, and also his new laughs for reaching S rank. Took me a while to get used to them but theyve grown on me.
For things that arent Trickster... Activating MoM is probably my favorite thing to do as survivor.
-
Only thing I dislike about her is her base outfit. Sure its cool and in theme, but I can tell the color is gonna make it really hard to mix and match with other cosmetics.

Should there also be icons for when survivors are killed by the entity? If you close the hatch and then fail to secure the last kill, obviously you shouldn't be entitled to a free kill, right?
Sure!

I play to win, that means missing knives and making every bad play until I get 3 hooks and a 4 man out

It's a mode that came about because players said the game wasn't scary anymore and where's the horror. In reality players want to win, not be scared, so it's hated.
Players that play the mode with the mentality of normal matches miss the point. It's supposed to be like facing a movie serial killer.
Which may be fun for a game or 2, but anything reliant on jumpscares for horror gets very old very quickly.
-
I personally just chill in VC with friends while playing. Just talking n messing around with them makes it much easier to take things less seriously.
-
One of the most balanced killers but heavily add on reliant. Would love to see an add on pass for him since the large majority of them are just the exact same but with different numbers. Like we dont need 3 different swift hunts

@Mr_K said:
Lights Out is the real horror aspect of DBD, Not knowing. Survivors don't like not knowing. So they hate Lights Out.
Because every single power in this game (other than those with stealth) were created without basekit stealth in mind. Not much fun to be had when a killer is able to down you out of nowhere with 0 time to react
-
Kaneki is probably the closest thing we got to a low skill floor and high skill ceiling. His reputation though makes many people completely overlook the stuff youre able to do which really is a shame since Ive seen good Kaneki's, and it really is impressive the stuff theyre able to pull off.
Reminds me of Billy before his initial rework back in 2020. His reputation wasnt great and many people actually played him very similarly to current Kaneki. Use saw to close distance, and then use insta saw to chew through pallets until he was close enough to back rev. This was made very effective as well when using Enduring since his charge time wouldnt reset its progress when stunned, so he could walk through the pallet and if he got stunned he'd just immediately continue the rev and break the pallet instantly. That being said once in a blue moon you would go against someone who knew how to curve or do sky billy and space billy. They just weren't as recognized because of his poor reputation
-
Imo the event it self definitely fell flat but its probably the most ambitious theyve ever been with the effects and that I can give them credit for, even if they were a little overtuned. The main issue I had with the event is killers not having nearly as many interesting things to work with than survivors
-
Only about 100 something on Meg and Trickster, 50 on Trapper, and then minimum 20 on all other killers. My other survivors I play also got about 20 cakes on them
Wish I got more but hey, Ill take it

Thing is main event cant be used like near 20 meters radius around hook and knifes are limited plus you have less of them, anticamp is stronger the longer you are near hook.
Old trickster the 4,6 version could take one health state with 8 knifes and then had guarantee main event every time without any restriction around hooked survivors so new trickster is actualy worse in being proxy then the old one was.
Olny difference is that you cut people down bit faster but on safer high wall loops it takes you longer thats it same killer, very simular with power reworked so only few like him and I havent seem him in long run.
Id argue current Trickster is better for proxy camping since he's much better at preventing the unhook all together thanks to the faster recovery and less knives needed. Not to mention if he does have Main Event available theres no delay/grace period once the survivor is unhooked, and Main Event itself is better than it ever was with a longer duration and faster movement speed.
-
COMPLETE counters should not exist. Its one thing to counter something, but Lightborn for example completely nullifying flashlights and crackers should not be a thing, or Self Preservation completely nullifying BBQ and other hook related aura reading.
-
why thank you <3
When comparing 4.6 Trickster to post rework, one thing thats immediately apparent is just how much more punishing he can be for making mistakes. Before you could just spam knives with 0 thought since Main Event was so easy to achieve, now not only do you have a lower reserve, but you also arent getting Main Event every 3 seconds.
Your first course of action is ranking up as fast as you can. E and D rank I would actually recommend getting used to long distance shots purely for the style rank. Shots thrown further than 16m away grants you 2 style points as opposed to just 1, making you immediately jump up a rank. At these lower ranks you typically only wanna throw a knife or 2 at a time since your throwrate wont really allow for much more, especially at high wall loops.
Once you reach C rank your throwrate is somewhat bearable and a little better than 4.6 Tricksters throw rate, which is a pretty big deal considering he needs 2 less knives to injure/down. The higher rank you are, the more knives you can get away with throwing at high wall loops, and the more he can punish survivors for their mistakes. Even the slightest bit of hesitation can be the difference between only hitting a knife or 2 and a full health state if youre in A or S Rank.
A few more general tips:
Treat S Rank as if youre Tier 3 Myers or Blood Fury Oni. Its on a time limit, it takes a while to get, and its great for snowballing
When throwing knives at a medium distance and out in the open, try throwing them in bursts or 3 or 4 to make it easier to see how a survivor moves and minimize the amount of knives missed.
loop clockwise since his first knife always comes out of his left hand, allowing you to get cheeky shots around corners
If youre in S Rank try avoiding kicking unsafe pallets, or gens that you can afford to leave alone so that they can be a source of style points later down the line.
Reload before youre about to enter S Rank to maximize its value
Try using Main Event only at the end of S rank so that you get the most use out of S Rank.
If you see someone running towards an unhook, time the last knife for when they actually start the unhook animation. Itll interrupt the unhook and you have enough time to put down your knives and get an M1 to completely prevent the unhook (assuming no perks are involved)
(This goes for pretty much any ranged killer) aim at a Survivors lower half since it better represents their actual hitbox.
-
Im sure he'll be pent up after a while.
-
Considering the monsters that used to exist back in the day, its not a terrible question
-
Im surprised they never explored more map hazards like Nostromo's gas. Its such a cool mechanic that I wish was explored more

I guess there is no harm in trying them at 115 how they are now, see how it goes.
Can't be any worse than facing hex Jason in his current state
Also as a MiNa player, she plays Ji-Woons voice at the end of main event currently, can we fix that lol and the diamonds on her shoulder are rigged incorrectly, they float off of it.cant forget your rank clipping at the top of the screen
-
Because just like other ranged killers, his counterplay is using unconventional looping to avoid his knives. Give him 115% and he just becomes a walk-em-down willy.
I truly think it boils down to people severely under estimating his skill ceiling since 99% of Tricksters you go up against throw knives away as much as Sables throw themselves at the killer

Deja Vu's original effect was quite literally the worst perk in the entire games history
I don't think it won that competition against No Mither, and it certainly wouldn't hold up against things like Calm Spirit and Invocations now.
Guy, the perk revealed 2 random gens for 8 seconds at the start of the game. These 8 seconds included the camera pan.
Thats it.

And the worst part is BHVR is afraid to make strong new perks in place of the nerfed perks. Crazy that the top 5 used perks for survivors are basically the ones that were there when the game was released. Deja Vu, Windows, SB, Lithe, Breaks. Like dang the meta hasn't changed in almost 10 years.
Deja Vu only became meta in 2022 and Windows in 2021. Deja Vu's original effect was quite literally the worst perk in the entire games history, and Windows was no where near as strong since it had a much shorter range and a cooldown

Eh, I dont think so. Sure its iconic, but Nemesis has so many more abilities in RE3make
The fact he doesnt really have a sprint, scream, or hell they could of made him the first killer to have something to do with the Obsession. Theres so much they could of done with him but instead they focused on trying to cram everything from the game it self, and not Nemesis himself

Can be cool on Slinger just for the fact you can have someone healthy be broken lol
