They are trying Myers for the first time maybe and returning player? It still takes into account your overall mmr if I'm correct so it won't be low if that is the case.
But (big one) this can also happen if you are completely new to the game or never played killer. I saw it with my own eyes when I afked as killer on my surv account for a few games. Last second switchers, map offerings and purple perks even tho I played killer only once on that account.

Happened to me. Two survivors tried that and somehow failed lol. It was funny to me tho because it is not hard to get cosmetics even with people like that once in a while.
Killers will hit you eventually and you get the stuff.

On a more serious note, it is fairly easy to understand why people are not playing him anymore. As much as it hurts me to say this, Freddy is... boring.
The Nightmare doesn't have anything special about him anymore, which is downright depressing for who once was the most unique killer in the game.
Slowdown survivors on loops? Clown.
Fake Pallets? Doctor.
Teleportation? Hag.
Don't get me wrong on this last one, though. Dream Projection is nice and it is good to have mobility in a game like DBD, but...this isn't enough to make him appealing or fun to play as. Or against.
As I've said countless times, Freddy NEEDS his on-release version back. The fact that he hasn't been reverted yet is genuinely scary and disturbing.

I wanted to ask you something because you like him and I never saw anyone mentioning this except me.
Do his blood pools (snares) and fake pallets (breaking) look very out of the place and unpolished to you as well?
For example they are supposed to be blood pools but it doesn't even look like blood to me, it looks like ketchup or something and color is totally off.
It is very ugly to me.

I stopped using hexes immediately after boons were introduced.
At least corrupt and pop exist.

Its objectively the best way doctor to play during the event.
Also blame the devs for how broken the snowmen are when interacting with killer's powers as its broken on a lot of them.

Had two toxic teabagging clickers and two wholesome survivors as a killer.
Destroyed bmers at 5 gens and smacked them on hook with 8 stacks of stbfl until their last breath. Farmed with the snowmen cuties afterwards.
We said our goodbyes and everything went as it should that day.

Oh dw I use head on + co plenty enough for it to practically be my meta, and MYC or I'm All Ears just makes me happy in ways I can't put into words accurately, I just wish that I didn't feel so shoehorned into these perks because I'm that vulnerable when I don't use them, and believe me when I say that today and yesterday DS would've gotten plenty of value.
I alternate between ds and another perk on instinct lol. When I have ds all the time I never get to use it.

You can use purple or green add on that gives you 1 more trap to compensate. You get two traps and aura reading that way.

Funny thing is I sometimes find non meta perks more useful with certain killers and builds. Discordance for example.
I also play Legion with no anti gen except thana.
But I play with meta stuff too. I dunno I think people should use what they feel like anyway.

Or you can mess around with nice survivors and kill the toxic ones. Works for me and keeps my mmr low.

I am not annoyed by snowmen when I play killer but then again I am not going for 4k every game and reaching high mmr.

I don't watch Horror to get off, I watch them for the intensity, the stories, and either to laugh at how miserable they are, or get scared... a little skin in them only matters if it's tasteless, otherwise if it's in a terrifying context I don't get distracted by it. Methinks you only watch crappy/tasteless horror, of which there are plenty, but if you are watching the decent to really good ones and still getting off on the disturbing nature of them... that is a cause for worry.

Spirit should be the standard of all our killers, just enough clothing to prevent us from getting banned in some weird country, but enough skin to satiate our inner degeneracy. I would pay for Spirit Drip on Bubba. You hear that Behavior? Cha ching $$$
I am honestly not a fan of skimpy outfits, I like casual ones better.
I think we have good variety. Going beyond that would be too much.

God even tho not all of the games are like that I never remember having so much fun in dbd as now.
Just had a game against Billy and after we were in a chase for some time I hoped in the snowman and approached him. We had a staring contest for a while before we resumed the chase.

The only good charms are actually the glowing ones. Other ones you can hardly see.
I like tower of the strong and tower of the observer. They emit blue light.

If you play every game as killer or survivor to win I understand why are you not having fun.
Or your mmr as killer must be too high so you only get tryhards. I enjoy messing around with some survivors and I let people go after we farm the snowmen.
I guess it is not for everyone.

It is better when I play killer and goof around with non toxic survs. I let people go a lot so my mmr is not crazy on killer.
If I see survivors playing around I join in. I enjoy it a lot as pig.

You don’t get the reward if you get hit while jumping into the snowman, the animation had to be over.
you will know it worked when you get the sparkles around your character in the match.
I know that I always have them and still not getting anything.
