The thing is there are plenty of ways to counter this type of play and hook this team. It’s not always easy and obvious but there are always things you can do in these situations.
He played extremely bad, was getting looped at the most unsafe pallets, he was pulling out of lockers at the wrong time, kept chasing the wrong person, he even had a power that can force them to be unable to use lockers.
For me personally these games are the best games as killer against a squad like this. This team of SWF would 4man escape nearly every game if they played to win even against very good killers who are try harding. In games like this you can chill out more as killer and still get kills
So you think you can beat swf of this caliber with legion?
-
I refuse to use it as well as franklins because I might as well play with 3 perks instead.
But if it helps you more than other perks use it I guess. Others shouldn't dictate your builds.
-
I only tried him a few times and I suck at him. He was also the first killer and a match I had in 2018. Still ptsd from that experience lmao.
Something about cloaking and uncloaking makes me frustrated. Props to people playing him honestly and I never understood the outcry as someone who played surv more.
But then again I thought spirit was fine too. I was never frustrated vsing her any more than other killers.
-
I get blinded sometimes depending on killers I play but I am not sure why people find flashlights so oppressive unless they play hag, wraith or something.
Most of the time I get free hits on flashers.
-
"Underperforming" for sure. Devs go on, do the magic.
-
I think I first saw it like a week ago when I crawled to it as slugged surv. I tried to worship it like deity but the killer found me and killed me after looking at the scene for a second.
I think they saw it for the first time too.
-
Lol I didn't know Pingu was so popular around the world. My childhood.
-
Blue eyes=Noed.
-
I wanted to try him but I got discouraged reading this lol.

With Boon exist, you give up for another target is actually a mistake. Since everyone can be the same efficient in chase.
Plus, you're chasing an injured & exhausted survivor. If you dare to give up a chase for 30sec, they will be healthy & regain exhaustion perk.
Disagree.
If another target is outpositioned or less optimal in looping it is not a mistake.
Chasing someone you can't get in decent time is a mistake.

Same. The worst thing is to blame game or teammates for my own mistakes, now Im just angry at myself.
And dont really care how others play unless its cheating or intentional sandbagging
You shouldn't be too hard on yourself either. Just enjoy the game and be respectful towards respectful people.
-
Didn't face one in a while.
-
Chasing people too long is a mistake.
She could have been frustrated because she wasted so much time or you bmed her and she wanted you dead anyway.
Frustration is normal when you play weaker killers because you can't do much about certain tiles. Bm'ing however is unwarranted unless you bmed her.
-
When I play as Myers and know someone is in a snowman I get real close and just look at them for a while.
And I do meme and farm with chill survivors who are respectful, mostly when I play pig.
-
@Impartiality said:
The only real use is to dead hard for distance to make it to a pallet or window.
Anything else is pointless
Yeah. But when I am outpositioned why not use it anyway if I am going on a hook and have it again after the unhook.
If there is a chance you are going to be slugged or you might ds a killer/be saved by someonee else, it is better to save it than use it at the wrong time tho.
-
I got used to it and I think I get better teammates than before. I am not always satisfied with them but I try not to judge too harshly. When I spectate some of them are cracked honestly, much better than me.
If they are effective on gens that is usually good enough for me tbh.
It can be a mixed bag but overall it is fine. I played this game for years and got used to it plus we don't always know the full story about why they do something.
The only ones I can't really stand are griefers and rage quitters.
-
I like feeding on filthy gen rushers which I find with discordance at the start. Then I delete someone and sometimes feel bad about it.
Please note that I said filthy gen rushers as a joke.

Billy is a high skill killer. If you learn him, you are guaranteed 4ks, definitely not Nurse level because she just needs a rework. I would say that if you learn and play Billy correctly, he's better than every other killer except Nurse.
Billy better than any killer except nurse?
I am sorry but I disagree and I will end it at that. I will just say that not even top/comp players will agree with this.

Wait until this madman curves you at said broken tile and you’ll see
No need to wait, I played vs Billy pre nerf tons years ago. I know how to play against him.
They can get some crazy chainsaws from time to time but that doesn't win them games. And they are wasting a lot of time following rulebooks.
Some people these days just don't know how to vs Billy because they hardly played against him.

No, what makes me like Billy is how his power is so interactive and how most people that play him are wholesome and always play fair.
Why would you want people to play like that? Just makes the game boring for everyone.
So it is fun to run billy around broken tiles while he refuses to m1 you and fails over and over trying to accomplish impossible chainsaws?
Good for you I guess. I don't like when a killer who is nerfed to the ground go easy on me just because someone said it is "wholesome".

What is there for a killer to do besides play the game as intended?
Sometimes I do gens with survivors as pig.
-
I don't like how every Billy player I see follows the surv rulebook.
Is this some reddit trend or something?
It is not fun if they don't capitalise when they can and throw the game basically. I love Billy but I don't want them to play "fair".
-
Just play resi 2 forehead. I expected these types of comments, where are they? Always hilarious to see.

That's a really creative idea, I was always imagining it would be Evan or Beard as the survivor. With the killer just getting lots of legendary skins (there's a lot of choices)
I was born with thick skin.
-
I thought this was happening to me but notifications are too brief and I didn't look at the screen when they happened. I was getting the rewards the whole time.
I suggest looking after the match. If you are not seeing anything for sure then it might be a bug.
-
Don't worry nothing will happen. Also don't even talk to people like that. Complete waste of time.
-
I don't think they "think". Most of them just act on their impulses and use words as tools to get their way.

Damn those bots are really putting in the effort for those Bloodpoints huh
They are also weird as hell. They freak me out honestly. I was healing claudette and jake approached us, teabagged twice and left.

Stop with no one sided posts. We need more hate Laura.
-
Some people dc when I use legion pin and they can't heal immediately.

Now I feel bad because you have Pig in avatar and name but I had some interactions with JP so I named them.
This is why I don't like threads like these. Everyone is special and iconic.

My DS5 only lasted a few weeks and the spring broke in the trigger. Now when I play survivor I keep accidently teabagging mid-chase leading to me getting tunnelled out of the game.
I hoped they learned something but obviously not.
Their products are garbage except the console itself. My headset literally cracked at the top even tho I am gentle with everything I own.
My ds1 and ds2 controllers never got bad even after years and years of use back in the day. Ds3 was faulty when I first got it but after a service it also lasted me years until I sold the console.
Ds4 were complete garbo. Every single one of them I owned.
And hearing from you that ds5 is bad... No words.
-
Me playing backpack Kate.
-
Yes if you let a lot of people go so your mmr doesn't give you swats.
I still get hard games from time to time but most of the time I have a chance to win with build that suits me. I mostly play weaker killers, pig and myers these days. With the right add ons it is manageable.
I also go for 4k's against douchebags because I feel obliged to it. But if people are not bming, I let two of them go most of the time. Or more.
If I dominated that is. If not, everything goes.
I usually do because crossplay off (no stretch and filters survs) and mmr not too crazy, so it is fine.
-
I just ignore them at this point. Even before sbmm ranks didn't mean too much.
I saw people literally braging about being red even now when a toddler can do it easily.
I would be embarrassed.
-
Being able to delete someone from the game pretty fast with tp+jmm is not a joke.
Especially with people who don't take you seriously and feed you like that.
Regular Myers can be a pushover against decent teams tho yeah. Like any other m1 no anti loop killer. Tiles are stronK.
Also you can't pop tier 3 before you are behind someones back and you know you will down or kill them instantly. You need to be tap away from tier 3 and use it at right times.
That Myers could have downed that person with basic attacks and saved his tier 3 until you guys get close enough to the hook. Something tells me he was a baby or plays him improperly.
But I am not denying Myers is not that strong in general.

Lol I voted not realizing this is old and Halloween is long over
And they probably never cosplayed anything lmao.

I speak the language of my opponents. If they bm I give them the same if I have the time and it doesn't cost me the game.
It is very satisfying hitting bmers on hook with 8 stacks of stbfl for example. They are like a punching bag.
-
Depends on other teammates and if they are respectful or not.
-
I never even realised there is such a thing until now lol.
-
Entity is obsolete after sbmm anyway. No one cares what entity wants or think.
-
Yep.
-
I love my daily dose of camping solutions from people who never played killer.

This is the correct answer. A perfect controller is exactly the same as keyboard and mouse, when they start to wear out though, you might only get 99% of the full distance registering it. A controller pushed to 99% on DBD does NOT run at full speed!
To test your controller, plug it into a PC choose Set up USB Game Controllers Properties, if you move the controller all the way up, and then from side to side (i.e. top right al the way to top left) you might see a slight wiggle. Thats the sign that your controller is wearing and you won't get full speed.
You can test this in game with a race in a custom match, one on keyboard, one on controller although obviously you both have to play as survivors.
Interesting. Well I had really really bad luck with ds4 controllers. I had ps1, ps2, ps3 and never had such problems.
I won't buy a single ds4 again since they are not that cheap and it is pointless. I already have 3 of them.
They should at least try to make them somewhat durable. I had problem with drift on day 1 with one of them. Ridiculous. I wonder if ds5 is any better.
-
I wish someone tests this as well. Running in a straight line thing I mean.
I only have console buddies.

For me, everything goes way faster playing during the day, which is nice (unfortunately I have a day job, so only get a couple days a week where I can) But I have never seen a day where surv is faster than killer.
Also, the general level of competition seems to be way lower during the day (especially on weekends when the kids are on).
I tried to play killer in early morning one time and couldn't find a game at all. Just gave up after a while and played survivor.
-
For me (eu) it is time of the day.
Surv instant during the day, killer takes longer. Killer instant at night, surv takes longer.
-
Oh boy.
-
Damn. I really thought this killer will end up being decent.
I didn't try her myself but from what I have seen vsing her she doesn't seem that much of a threat like some other killers. People either didn't figure her out or I dunno. I like what Dowsey did with one crow at the time but even that feels eeeh.
Had a match against crazy blight few hours ago and guy slugged us to death quick enough. I never felt so destroyed in my life lmao even vsing nurse.
I wanted artist to be able to do stuff like that. We will see.
