  • As a 100 xeno main myself, I agree. Xeno has a lot of potential to have a more unique playstyle/power, everyone had tons of ideas on how it would play but when it came out with just tail poke, that gets removed by double stacking automated safe zones, the gameplay alone is whats kept this killer from being as popular as other big icons.

I'd love a rework, even if it was something like instead of turrets they can get motion trackers, and xeno has like 0.1% terror radius while crouched or something, but it can clearly hear the motion trackers (and they get broken when downed, and like mentioned above^, motion trackers cant detect him when undetectable for stealth builds ) so its a double edged sword, and it gets a way to pounce on survivors. (As one of many examples for a rework).

They are fantastic, he even does a fantasy novel that is a must read. Weave world

On the note of Fantasy stuff, I read a whole trilogy from Jay Kristoff called Stormdancer, which was kind of a japanese steam-punk theme. After reading that I got a few of his other series lol and im still reading all the Gotrek & Felix warhammer books

I do really like Grady Hendrix, He does have quite a bit of slow burn horror movies with slight feminist themes. And he did a podcast confirming he does do his research.

I think he is a good author to support.

My two favorite by him are a southern book clubs guide to slaying vampires & My best friends exorcism.

But if you like more actual Horror Horror Clive Barker is always a great choice. even his non horror books are psychologically thrilling

Honestly its my first time realising Clive Barker does Novels too lol. I've seen most of his movies, enjoyed a couple of his games (undying / Jericho). Might start looking into his novels lol

Saturday Night Live be weird about that. It's Dana Carvey's "Chopping Broccoli" song. :D

Lol i just looked it up and was like "Hey thats Garth! From Wayne's World!" Like I never knew the actor's name lol

  • They try to limmit abruptly ending the round, as much as possible. Tome challenges still exist requiring certain conditions to be met, which if everyone can just shut the match off at any time skipping any segment of the game, challenges and achievements will be much worse.

And the game is built in kind of an "it ain't over till its over" kind of mode, where any 1 player can still get extra points for escaping through hatch (or even finnish challenges/achievements) or a killer can snowball and get the whole team down even if the door is open (I somehow managed it on deathslinger).

The more ways to quit the game early we add, the more we just chop the game into pieces where noone wants to play this or that phase of the game, or noone wants to play against _____ killer or perks so forfeight every time.

We have gotten to the point where we now have so many second chances that we don't even want to use them all anymore, and noone wants to fight to the last man standing anymore because a free go next exists.

  • I got my friend into the game around sadako's release. And we never really had a full swf just duo, so they would mostly stick with me and it was an extra challenge for me to keep them alive as this was the experience:

    Derp.jpg

Infact that exact thing happened so many times i made this picture^ out of Ochido's funny dbd videos 'thumbnails'.

Eventually they got past all the tunneling and stuff and stuck with the game somehow, though they never switch their build which is unbreakable, left behind, bottony knowledge, and kindred. Perhaps being in a full swf pressures the killer further into finding the weak link. I know i've felt that way when 3 people are hard to catch and u know whos easiest but i also save them for last as their friends usualy throw themselves at the killer to protect them, and then i can pretend to chase them around till they find the hatch

  • Its a struggle even to get the dailies done lol. Im about 65% survivor 35% killer, and between events/chapters/rift quest pages, I'll just login to do the dailies to keep the rift going forword. But by the end of those 1-3 rounds I'm saying "glad thats done and over with so I can go play something else".

Even today's dailies involved finnishing 3 gens, and my first round starts, the dwight starts spamming all the pallets before the killer even shows up, goes down in seconds, leon decides to keep trading hooks with dwight immediately so they burn through all their hook states, by the time im done the first generator Dwights dead, the 3rd person is on 2nd hook and leon gets downed with a trap on his head. So i figure ill pickup leon first since the killer was likely going back to the hooked survivor, but no this p100 pig is a specialist, which specialises in camping with franklin weave combo (which i was bringing all the dropped items to the corner but somehow leon dropped another medkit) and they were just camping leon so i get hit picking him up, he stands there goes down again, and i cant make it to the other hooked player because theres no pallets left in that area, so i just go in a locker and abandon on hook. All dailies done except i need 2 more generators

Round 2 starts, lara decides to run straight to nemisis and start emoting, gets punched in the face and turbo tunneled to death. I manage to finnish the last 4 gens while the other 2 kept him busy looping around shack and saving eachother. 1 of them dies and i get found trying to go for a door, try to keep him busy while the other person opens their door, i get hooked and then they came and got me, and then i got slugged and nemi chases them out the door. I crawl all the way to the door and nemi finds me there and starts bming all the way to the line where its most fitting to give a mori.

Dailies done, glad its over with, can go play devil may cry trilogy instead since that whole series is still new to me and ive barely started the first game lol.

Yeah those might work too never tested them as its not really a bug but interesting interaction. I once accidentally did it with Moment of Glory and if the killer hits you when you are full health in the trap you get freed from the trap and can still runaway now again in injured state. Still if the Trapper pays attention or is smart to pick you up from the trap with his interaction to pick up straight off the trap. Its just not that common to have one of those perks and get Trapper and end up in a situation where it works. That one time me and the Trapper both were like "what?" when it happened.

In 2v8 its also quite not known information that you can do that as any killer when survivor is caught in the Trapper's trap people keep wasting time hitting them down and then picking up.

If you have endurance off a hook, the endurance will also tank the hit and let you out of a trap. Seen that lots of times with basement trappers lol

  • @Wezqu said:

Funny fact of the perk in question. Its the only perk in the game that can cause you to be in a Trapper's trap while being full health.

So the other heal yourself while broken perks don't cause that? (Like Steve's or Taurie's)

  • Screenshot_20260823_064836_Samsung Browser.jpg

Thats all we got as far as i've heard. No specific idea of when. But if they were working on it for "many months and have something cool" than maybe its not too long of a wait?

  • Could also use the anonymous mode then mention your stream name in end game chat. Unless its on console

You gave one scenario where this perk *could* be acceptable, but ignore all the unhealthy things it brings. If the devs would want to make this perk only work when a generator gets into a certain completion rate, then they would've made it like that. But that's just not how things are. Killers get free aura reading for zero effort and it kills a huge amount of perks from the survivors side and most definetly the stealth aspect of the game. Don't tell me about lockers now. 99% of the time survivors don't have enough time to jump into a locker without leaving scratch marks. Its absolutely disgusting. Also, how do you talk about Urban Evasion when this perk is literally NEVER EVER played. I haven't seen this perk for the last 1000 games. Even if a survivor decides to bring this perk, its usually working for the killers favor since these players don't really engage in teamplay.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4110293#Comment_4110293

Dude Urban Evasion is a perk that helps killers more than the team. Haven't seen this perk in my last 1000 games at least.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4110336#Comment_4110336

How can you tell me that this perk is fine when there's pretty much no counterplay to it since Distortion got nerfed to the ground?

I'm not sure if you read the whole message, but i did talk about the problems it brought to the game, and mentioned that in the next patch it will be nerfed specifically so that it mostly gets used for that scenerio and not the problems its causing today.

  • @Angy_Quentin said:

I love my chest gremlin build so i'm also thrilled to try a new way of utilizung my key+four chest perks build

Its quite satisfying since they added opening chests with a key lol. I remember when bringing a key prettymuch made everyone think "he's gonna let us all die for hatch isn't he?"

  • @Arcturus said:

Honestly it's been one of my favorite changes too, I tried it out in a few games in the PTB and it seems like it will be a really fun perk to run. It feels like it'll be pretty strong too, although not meta (which is kind of the ideal). Honestly I just hope some time soon we get a chest buff to make regular chests more enticing for survivors to actually use time on, along with an increase in numbers of chests so niche builds on both killer and survivor can see more use

I have this feeling that when they came up for the idea of the perk, they thought Dracula's aura chest perk would be popular as well so that there would be chests being closed all the time so Trevor could get use out of his perk, which didn't end up happening lol. Have yet to see how the big perk overhaul is going to look, maybe some other beloved niche perks will get great makeovers.

  • @BloodBehemoth said:

I've reported over a dozen obvious team ups between survivor and killer this year, not a single one was banned to my knowledge. Should they be? Absolutely, will they? /shrug

Might be the details given in the report. I reported a killer just 2 days ago for griefing and made a detailed report about it, successful ban popup the next day. And in bhvr's recent discord stream they mentioned they go off of details, but that was also in the case of cheaters.

  • The perks intended purpose was to combat a painpoint for killers where you get to a nearly completed generator, the survivor working on it has slipped away somewhere in that entire quarter of the map, and you end up with 2 problems, 1: you kick the generator and go find someone else - that generator is guaranteed to be finnished as soon as you leave. 2: you stay and look for the one hiding wasting valueable time letting other generators get completed, and may not even find the person because they are slinking around from place to place with urban evasion. So what the perk did was cut the crap and show you where they are hiding nesr the generator so you can get on with the game. What the problem was, is it glued to your killer allowing mobility killers and killers that hit through walls, to go after anyone within 1/4 - 1/2 the map.

The new nerf on the 25th will:

    • Reduce the distance the aura shows survivors
    • Glue the aura reading to the generator only (further reducing distance)

So the perk should go back to its intended purpose of just making sure noone is hiding next to a gen waiting for you to leave.

I know some people might have been upset because archives would sometimes lead to teammates practically throwing games to complete them, but I wish BHVR kept making them. Besides, the old archives are still in the game, and the majority of the playerbase continues to complete them. Even though there were some that were essentially time wasters, a lot of them encouraged me to put on different playstyles and gave me an objective. I've still got a good amount of killer archives left, but I've finished every survivor archive and it gives me less of a goal on survivor. If we continued to get the archives every season of the rift I feel like that would be a nice refresher but we don't get that anymore. I just wish the archives would come back without the troll ones, like the orange glyphs that give you a bunch of debuffs (or maybe glyphs in general).

I agree, having new challenges at the same time as quests would certainly give the player more goals to play for that won't just take 1-2 matches and done for the week

  • Noticed it today in a couple rounds. I was playing as leatherface with only 2 perks and even the brown addon that makes the chainsaw take 2 hits. I was just trying to get the 40 pallet breaks quest and yet, id get rounds where 1 guy is just walking the whole round, and when slugged would just keep crawling, and was consistently getting 8 hooks or more in several rounds when i was just trying to get pallets lol.

They mentioned in their last stream they've been testing a new mmr data collection or something for quite a while now and according to them hasn't effected the matchmaking directly, and the new mmr will be released on the 25th. Maybe their testing is kinda messing with the matchmaking it some way recently.

  • I feel the game is heading for its "just getting started with the good stuff" stage seeing the graphics rework and code rewrite etc.

Golden age for me would be either after a castlevania chapter 2 with Shanoa or she ends up a legendary atleast lol.

But yea next year is going to be the most different dbd has ever been, where all the things we are hoping they'll do, are actually happening.

  • @TicTac said:

Why cant you tunnel to reach high mmr?

Quick games = less hooks/less points/ not enough chases etc and people giving up = barely any emblem interaction much like an afk killer for survivors. Since mmr won't be about kills only. Another example is if the killer is afk and all the survivors get to do is gens, their mmr might not go up even if they escaped.

  • They had that setting in Left 4 Dead, where a player goes afk and a bot takes over after a certain time, and when they get back they can take over the bot again. But i have a feeling that would be a new era of farming. Where you dont have to play dbd, just let a bot do it for you till you die. Unless theres penalties or it disconnects you.

But a single perk should not completely counter an entire killer, that is my point.

    Which perk does this, exactly?

Calm spirit or Hardened for doctor, Iron will for spirit etc.

  • @pidgeon said:

I hope it at least allows me to have separate MMR for each killer that way I don't keep getting put in lobbies where everyone is running comp perks while I'm just trying to learn judgement

They did confirm killers still have seperate mmr's, and the softcap to prevent you from going into the onboarding zone on new killers, like Nemisis showing up on the set of The Walking Dead and they're like "look at the size of that walker!" "That ain't no walker, that things RUNNING STRAIGHT AT US! Is that a ROCKET LAUNCHER!?"

If you mean the nurse's calling change, then yes

If you meant the jason locker change it went live weeks ago

I honestly never would've known about the locker change to jason without this post lol.

As for the changes, the screen indicator when your are about to be hit "incase you weren't paying attention on a gen" was certainly unnecessary. Thats like giving people a warning indicator everytime the Artist's crows are coming.

  • It seemed to be used about as much as "Made for this" back when everyone figured out it just makes you run faster in any chase, and for almost the same reason, so I can understand the nerf. It may have been cut down but still has a purpose with exhaustion perks.

  • @Arcturus said:

For anybody too lazy to Google Translate it, I've got you:

"Dead by Daylight needs a more animalistic killer; it’s high time we had a Jurassic-style killer—preferably a Velociraptor. It could be a chase-focused killer capable of vaulting obstacles (like pallets) just like a survivor, and at the same speed—that would be amazing."

Personally I'd love something like the Indoraptor in the game, I think that would be sick.

For some reason since growing up in the 90s and loving the first 3 movies, a Velociraptor would be a "hell yea" addition for me lol, didn't get into the newer jurrassic world ones enough to like Indoraptor.

I guess its kinda like people asking for X-Files vs Supernatural

  • @Star99er said:

I’m still hoping for Special Infected Cosmetics for the Killers. A smoker skin on deathslinger would go hard.

Yea i think that might be even harder for them to do than survivor legendaries, because the smoker would then be carrying a harpoon rifle, or theyd have to remake the entire aim and fire animation just to make it work like left 4 dead. I could see a spitter for Krasue, jockey + charger for twins, boomer for clown if they could make him spit globs that explode into gas, tank for oni etc. But killer wise theyd likely have to make a whole new chapter - for free, out of the kindness of their hearts lol.

  • One anime I never got around to watching but always wanted to. It seems as well known as Tokyo Ghoul so i wouldn't see a problem in popularity. As I haven't seen the show I still have a favorite character that didn't make the list lol

    4ba89ef678c4088df18c24e0ceb81d58.jpg

I'd buy the chapter for sure, and it seems everything that comes to dbd I end up watching/playing to fully understand the characters. Another similar anime i'd love to see is Muv Luv Alternative, always loved their mech suit styles.

  • Vee's healing perk, and nearly every teamwork perk are fine examples of stuff that wasn't thought through, like an engineer looking at a blueprint and making up something that makes sense to them on paper, but the people trying to put it in place can't get it to work.

  • I'm kinda bored with the game too by now to a point where I just login for the dailies/quests, and when they are done go back to other games.

But it isnt 1v4 that has me bored, its the fact that theres no "End Game Content" appart from trying to build another p100, which when you make enough of them they start to lose incentive (working on my 10th at 75).

So unless I have something new to earn I barely play

  • I happen to be a Lovecraft fan too lol, got "the complete works of H.P Lovecraft on kindle for like 60 cents lol been reading it for years off & on. I think I'm on the final story. I didn't hesitate to pick Cosmic horror themed for the community chapter. Hopefully It'll win if theres a next time.

I always thought if we brought in a small version of Cthulhu he could reuse the doctor's old passive "madness aura" mechanic

  • There is still so much potential for Resident Evil in DBD

  • I think all 4 of those options might have been in the community voted chapter at the beginning. Most Myers still bring the tuft of hair addon to be more like the og simple myers.

The worst part i find with new killers is the first thing everyone does is try to place it on a strength level tier list and say its crap if its below a certain tier, which causes them to be pressured into making stronger killers rather than simpler.

  • The only time i've ever left a lobby is if theres a player in the lobby i've played with before that i know will definitely cause problems again. Otherwise I could see a full ttv squad with flashlights on killer and i still won't even put on lightborn lol i've seen too much in this game for anything to bother me at first glance.

  • @Mooks said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4109363#Comment_4109363

i guess things like that (community contest designs, Bills Outfits) are easier than complete (legendary) characters as those would typically come with completely new Lobby animations and voice acting and Face models, so way more resources being spent compared to just outfits for existing characters including Bill. So its possible and obviously they were in touch with the licensors regarding Bill a few times but may be too much costs for other things.

That makes sense lol. Only way to bring those characters in would be legendaries, but they would have to be free, and are a costly pain to make. And theres too many to make (7). Yep, it woulda been nice lol

  • @Mooks said:

yeah, would be nice but i doubt we will see any further content for L4D because there is no monetary gain for BHVR AND its still tied to License negotiations and approvals and all

I get what you mean, as thats the main conclusion that comes to mind, but the confusion for me starts with the fact that they do stuff for no monetary gain all year round. For example the design a cosmetic competition, and the free track of every rift. Then cosmetics that are free during events ( to be sold later) and even twitch drops. So that part still seems possible.

But the licensing negotiation and approvals seem to be the biggest question as left 4 dead has given out their entire roster of characters to other games before as well like Nazi zombie army as a big free update. Along with keeping Bill in the game this long and letting them make 2 original outfits for him. So maybe the left 4 dead license holders are just tough to get in touch with or something? That or they think nobody would care about left 4 dead today.

  • If the mode does well enough and people want to see it come back, it could even be a good way to bring in 1 or 2 left 4 dead characters per iteration. Once the left 4 deads are all here it can even be swapped to resident evil or walking dead themed where they can release characters in the store (since resident evil primarily waits for resident evil themed events or new chapters to finally bring in content).

It may also be a nice way to pay homage to the 2nd license to ever join dbd, and stuck with us for 9 years. I think we owe more to Bill than we give him credit for, such as:

    • His perks have helped shape the very foundation of survivor gameplay we have today, with 2 of his perks becoming basekit (if we are counting 2v8) and his third being the building block for several aura reading perks that can find the hatch.
    • He is a Non Profit license in the game which is free for all players

Over the years the most guessed reason for lack of left 4 dead content has been that BHVR doesn't want to make cosmetics for non profit. But so far as I have seen that isn't true as with every rift and event we have all year round gives non profit cosmetics every time. So what is really holding left 4 dead content back? (Besides the fact that nobody else seems to wanna taco bout it) I'm not a Bill maim myself, but certainly would have been if Coach joined alongside him back then.

Being the charm enthusiast that I am, it's actually kinda difficult to come up with an "absolute" top 3. But here goes.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/HUPUCXEQCRAY/charmmill.png

First and foremost, this windmill charm from Rift 14. I have it equipped on every Survivor in the first charm slot. No matter who they are or where they're from. It's been like that ever since I unlocked this charm in that Rift.

Why this Windmill of all things, you may ask. I'm Dutch, that's why 🤣.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/T5VL7SQT1F1U/crowstuff.png

Crow charms. Because for the purpose of the topic I am allowed to only pick one, I am going for the first ever crow charm added to the game, simply because it gave rise to a collection of crow charms that's still being expanded upon. I believe it was Rift 5. The reason why I like crow charms is because I main Artist, and I actually use different crow charms based on what cosmetic I currently use. Example:

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/61EA0IWD1WX6/dbd-carminamorartist-05b.jpg

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/TYWE9AMVQR29/crowanniversary1.png

And I have many more such combos.

Finally, I'd have to go with figurines. Again, a broad category that contains many charms. I feel like I'm smuggling a little but let's again focus on just a single example:

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/4NPS1KOWEN5J/charmclaudette.png

Claudette is one of my Survivor mains. This charm is currently equipped on only one other character, namely Jonah Vasquez. My other Survivor main. Claudette, meanwhile, always has the Jonah figurine charm equipped. So no matter which character I play, the other is always by their side.

All of yours are on a bright background while i got stuck taking pictures in the dark with no flash on lol, howd you get that background? And i occasionally use the Shane / Dracula figurines and wonder why there hasnt been one of skull merchant yet.

  • Possibly X-Files. Its been on quite a few surveys, its a staple in supernatural horror tv shows with a very iconic duo of survivors, and seems the be more heavily asked for than something like "The Twilight Zone" or "The Outer Limmits". They are also not strangers to video games as they have had a ps2 game kinda like resident evil with zombies.

Though it would also be competeing with Supernatural which is the younger generation's X-files

  • My guess, if the graphics update goes well, and the coding gets reworked properly, and the licenses keep coming in and expanding while in the game, along with a better tutorial/onboarding setup, than i'd guess another 15-20 years. And the reason for it lasting that long isnt just because of no competitor, but the time and money spent on progression, and constant new content to refresh the experience.

I played world of warcraft since it started, and the more it seemed to add, the more dull the game seemed to feel. To a point where id play for a while and then stop until the next expansion since they take very long to come out. The dullness, came from the game getting easier and less challenging to the point where you did'nt even need others to play the game with unless you wanted to go into dungeons (which you also didnt need the gear from anymore because it was much easier to fight stuff on your own compared to when the game first started ).

Dbd however gets more challenging the larger it gets, for both sides, which for me prevents it from getting dull. The game only feels quite dry when the only new content coming in is something you aren't interested in and have to wait months to even hear whats next, innwhich case cosmetics usualy give you something to look forword to in between. So theres a lot to keep people glued to the game.

  • @ForTheEntity said:

My favorite charms are no charms at all, especially on survivor. They make you easier to spot and is just more crap for the game to render.

They could make a killer's hooks easier to spot in dark maps, as sometimes you can barely see the hook while carrying someone as its aura turns off because its in line of sight.

  • @MarylinMonhoe said:

Maybe they might do it, with the upcoming RE Code Veronica ?

Oh crap, I also forgot the Stranger Things Rift😅, I think it didn't impress me so I insta forgot it

Maybe. I'm not sure if the first 2 chapters came out around any resident evil game releases. I'd have thought re9 would've been the biggest opportunity lol.

As far as the stranger things rift goes, it wasnt very impressive in the amount of content within the rift itself for stranger things characters, but they did come out with 2 legendaries on the store at the same time, that everyone was asking for since the previous season years ago. So i think they kinda went the right route with that as they gave some content, made some 80s themed stuff for the originals, and saved a bunch of stuff as (maybe later) like people are still hoping for Jim Hopper and Joyce Buyers. Unlike the castlevania rift where they tried to put too much in at once so they downgraded over half the characters into cosplays, which being a big fan of a few of the characters who ended up not getting a chance to come later, I still havent gotten over it lol

I hear theres another resident evil 0 remake being worked on too lol. My guess on the most likely upcoming chapter 2 would be five nights at freddy's tho.

  • Strangely enough i hope to see one of the most niche characters in the whole series: Moira Burton, she would probably fit really well as a legendary for Rebecca. And a rift would probably be a good chance to add more to existing legendaries as thats the only time weve seen a legendary character, get a 2nd legendary cosmetic, even if it was just a recolour.

  • @MarylinMonhoe said:

Maybe… Mr X ? he is long overdue, but there is no way they would put in it, only store I guess

Other than that, survivor side, they could pick anyone from the series, even some villains (Excella could become a survivor, the interaction with Wesker or Chris could be fun), even some new versions of existing char (Hot Chris from Resident Evil Village)

But since they would all be linked "skin", you would need to unlock like 3 rows of the rift before fully unlocking the char, that would not be fun though

Haven't seen an instance where a linked skin in a rift was unlocked in pieces. For example Soma was at the beginning, first full item, true forms and soma blue were also all in 1 rift level.

One thing i think is holding them back from a resident evil rift is budget. For example with saw's rift it was simple and cheap to cater 1 outfit to 2 different licensed characters, and then make a bunch of charms and rsndomised outfits for other originals. When purchasing a rift its like you get every outfit in it for 1$ instead of the 10$ or so you would normally pay for each skin, ontop of that bhvr has to buy those skins from the license holder so theres even less revinue when its practically given away for 1$. And then theres legendary skins which cost even more than a rift, and apparently take like half a year or something to make + paying for a new voice actor, and giving those away for 1$ in a rift instead of their usual 15-20.

And in resident evil's case they have 6 base characters to cater to, with most players hoping for legendaries as well as new skins for the base characters. So bhvr would be paying much more to be able to make a skin for each licensed character + give away 1 or 2 legendaries. So a resident evil rift would either be the most expensive rift bhvr has ever had to pay for - if everyone could get what they wanted from it.

But then again they just had a stranger things rift, and only added 2 character's skins in while making random outfits for everyone else, might end up like that. Maybe after a chapter 3

Oh my, you are right, especially the Rebecca treatment

I guess it has to do with the contract binding them

Carlos/Leon is my one and only P100 and Carlos doesn't even get a badge yeah (just like any legendary)

Regarding legendary characters, they are sort of cursed though, because they aren't fully fleshed survivors, they don't get bloody skin when reaching P4 5 and 6, they could definitely have their own perks too

I agree with you about the castlevania part, True form and Soma were cool but the cosplay is just meh

What would you be hoping for in a resident evil rift? I wonder if they would even be able to make resident evil character figure charms. Banners would be quite easy as theres allot more places than just R.P.D and the stars office.

  • I've been curious on just how good of terms they are with Resident evil, as they seem quite strict in their choices compared to other licenses. For example:

    • 100% of outfits are linked (No customisation allowed except sweaters)
    • Very slow flow of content that only shows up in bulk events rather than the occasional legendary
    • Rebecca seems to be excluded from getting outfits at the same rate of others for some reason. Like when Wesker & Ada got new outfits but she did not
    • Their Badges were the only ones not allowed to be done with bhvr's artstyle, and have not included any of the legendary skins as badges
    • We could have had a rift from Resident evil quite easily by now given its one of the most played licenses in the game

I Would certainly enjoy a Resident evil rift, and i would pray the resident evil fans dont recieve the castlevania cosplay treatment, for example if they brought in Ashley as a cosplay for Kate, Luis as a cosplay for Jake, Grace as a cosplay for Yui etc, and then just put in Ethan Winters as a legendary, all in that rift. (I know I wouldnt enjoy that lol)
