I'm not sure what to feel about this. On paper it seems like a good idea, but what is the limit to the New Thana? Is it once per health state? Cause Nurses basically already does this minus the inability to heal.
-
@Zarathos I mean, I know plenty of people who'd run David more if No Mither could have that empowered effect on him. And remember Meg would still suffer from Exhaustion and Laurie could only use her Strike once. Empowered would not mean faster uses (Okay, so maybe Meg would be able to recover slightly faster when using her Sprint Burst. She is described as Athletic so it shouldn't be hard to imagine she could recover from running faster then someone like Feng, David, or Nea). Laurie's Empowered DS would either have a easier skill check or it lasts a few seconds longer.
I doubt people would just choose Meg or Laurie all the time if my idea were to be implemented is what I'm saying. Maybe a tier list would be made, but I would hope my idea could incentivise different roles to play. I.E Meg could be the distraction or some such, initially.

Im confused as to what's going onBasically, Surveillance is the Freddy of the Perks. Unlike Freddy though, this 'perk' will legitimately do nothing for you. At least with Freddy you can get kills. Run this only if you want to get laughed at. I know I laugh at those who use Surveillance unironically.

I thought of how the Trapper behaves from what we see. He isn't athletic like the Legion in the trailers, he's hulking, slow (based on how slowly he carried Jake) and relies on his strength and weapon. My idea would be the survivor rolls over and begins to crawl back in fear (Much like Jake did), the Trapper then swings just once and kills the survivor. Basic, but in a way, more creative than his current mori.
I'd personally say Wraith should get one, maybe in Hillbilly too since the whole chainsaw thing is just so lame compared to LF in my opinion.
Jesus Christ dude I wanted to suggest that for the Trapper. But then I was like, nah. It would certainly be in line with how (I'm thinking of mainly toxic) survivors would feel once they knew they would not be getting another chance.
Animations that I can think for Wraith is probably remain the same, but bash the head instead.
Hillbilly could do what Leatherdaddy does but instead knock them down and chainsaw like he normally does already.
-
I've had a similar idea actually, but just a sort of buff in general for ALL characters. My idea would be to give survivors that run their own perks a sort of boosted version. I dunno if I had posted this suggestion on another persons post or not but I'll give my suggestion here. I'll give two examples, for Dwight and Trapper.
Dwight: Running his three perks on himself.
Leadur: Grants survivors within 8 meters of you a extra 1/2/3% action speed.
Prove Dwighself: When x survivors are within 8 meters of you, you gain x/x/x% / x/x/x% / x/x/x% extra action speed
Blond: See survivor auras a extra 4/8/12 meters.
The Trapper: Running his three perks on himself.
Brutally Strengthened: You break pallets and generators a extra 5/10/15% faster.
Agitated: You transport bodies x/x/x% faster. Your terror radius is increased by 4/8/12 extra meters.
Unnerved Presencing: Chances of a skill check occurring outside your terror radius is increased by 6/12/18%. Skill Check success zones are reduced by 10/20/30% when out of your terror radius.
You can use any perk as your fourth slot but it will have it's normal effects.
I also came up for David King so No Mither could be usable on him.
Boosted No Mither on David:
You start the trail injured, however you start off with the Endurance effect. When hit you enter the bleed out timer which you can mend from. You regain the Endurance effect after 75/50/25 seconds.
What I hope my idea would do is have everyone want to play a role in a match. The only way to get these boosted perk effects would be to run the survivor with their own perks. And of course be able to run Self Care if they were anyone but Claudette. It'd give survivors more variety and hopefully (not holding my breath) stop people from running one go to survivor with a inherent advantage.
I know this was long but this was my own two cents. Let me know what y'all think, and please let me know if I flew way over the edge with my idea.

12 seconds is too little.. how about let's ptb a few changes because as it stands now 45 seconds is too obnoxiously long I would think half the time would be good..... so 22 or 23 seconds... I know the devs are rank 20s but they do test set ups and theres a reason they set it up for such a long time
i dont know what perk youre talking about the max its 15seconds right now and its pretty much useless it as alot of counter like myers with monitor and abuse or some killer that have monitor and abuse it should be similar than spine chill if the killer its going to youre direction youll get tokens
Stakeout.... It would be way too easy to gain tokens... it still is easy to evade and gain tokens it just shouldn't be like a chore where your spending most of the game following the killer around... there should be some of that just not so long
not really its easy if you going against a freddy with monitor and abuse or a myers with monitor and abuse or legion with monitor and abuse its that the perk monitor and abuse counters alot of this perk and becomes useless
I think Freddy's Lullaby is not affected by M&A. The only thing that affects it is his Red Paint Brush Add-On

Yea you probably aren't dumb I just have a very odd way of wording things lol Same here. Seems like we are birds of a feather.
Lol but seriously if you need me to explain the power just tell me which part confuses you
I guess just the whole power in general. From a gameplay point of view I doubt it would be really useful in a chase (unless you intend for this to be a stealth killer but I doubt that). But the power would be pretty unique all things considered, I just feel like you should give a option to place down the scarecrows so you have more control over where they are, unless changing consciousness leaves the current one in the last place you were. If that, then I find no problem.
Exactly you can use the bodies to your benefit, jump to a body (they will have collision so use them to block areas), just need to add something that keeps you from putting 2+ scarecrows within 5m of each other as this could be used to block off entire gens (definately would suck on lampkin)
Alright, then I have no problems with the power then. Thank you for clarifying.

This is what it says directly in the manual:
This hatch I found baffles me. As I witnessed the last survivor being, yet again, the victim of the dreaded hook I stumbled upon it as I slowly backed away. I finally found my keyhole. With my last strength I opened it, entered its tunnels and somehow found my way to the campfire. Now I sit here contemplating its purpose. Is hope more important for the Entity than I thought? Is this hatch just a treat you give a dog to as encouragement? For now I take what I can get.
Ohhhhhh okay. So it is a tunnel.
Yes it's a tunnel one the entity is very aware of
The Entity especially enjoys when killers grab the survivors off the Hatch as they jump in.

@CashelP14 Thank you for your comment. I appreciate it and this is why I posted my idea here, so I could get a criticism of what I may have did wrong. The survivor perks, now that you have pointed it out, I agree are a bit too strong. I may or may not double down on Save or Be Saved, since paired with Borrowed Time it would completely ruin campers, and tunnelers (okay, maybe it's too powerful, but it could save lives.) I will address your points as you've made them from here on out.
- His Terror Radius is 32 meters. Curses would be the afflictions like Mangled and the such. So one hit from a normal Curse attack would have a random chance of applying any random debilitating effect (Except for things like Broken or Exposed).
- Yeah, I'll change the range. That or I'll change the conditions needed for range, maybe a combo of both ideas (Having the range reduced while also having a condition for it).
- If you hit a survivor it just resets your bloodlust. I'd imagine this perk would be a new meta for Wraith players since the Wraith can just end chases by going invisible. Now having it activate after the first token is gained, while as a killer main I would like that, but as a player I feel it would be fair being able to take it out from the get go. (-sniff sniff- Devour Hope -sniff-)
- The idea for Damnation was exactly for that, Damning everyone. However I had forgotten to put in something to keep such things in check. I swear to the Entity I had put something that would prevent afflictions like that from stacking. I will put that in when I get the chance to. Shouldn't be long. Damnation USED to be a Hex Perk, but has been changed to something that will make Survivors afraid. Assuming they don't T-Bag the killer at the gate after they had 360'd the same killer to oblivion.
- If all survivors run this perk, it'd be negated hard if someone were to run No Mither, as the increased action speeds REQUIRES everyone to be uninjured. Otherwise you just perform altruistic actions faster and nothing else.
- I've already mentioned SoBS, but I will say some of the abilities are only tier three for a reason. And the more powerful effects are only applied on your LAST hook. So if you were already in the second phase and you were saved, or the other way around if you saved someone with the perk, you'd get the effects. As it is, if someone was running borrowed time, then paired with this perk it'd be like the old BT, where it gave the savior and the saved the endurance effect.
- The point for Matthew is that he is centered around Hope and Altruism, so his perks would reflect his desire to save people. Salvation would activate once the conditions are met, much like Freddy's Fire Up.
Killer Main here, I'm glad you gave me your feedback regarding my idea. I found your feedback to be very helpful and changes will be made when I find the time, which should be soon. Check back time to time if you have the chance, and see if you like the changes I would make.

I see alot of people complain the killer is weaker then survivors, I play both survivor and killer, and playing both i see the edge a killer has over the survivor, the killer has one real goal stopping and killing survivors and he has powers and perks with no real limitation with them to achieve the goal.
Survivors have numerous goals, do gens, dodge killer, help other survivors and escape and they have perks and equipment that are limited in some way to complete that goal. Comparing there perks, powers and addons the killer is more versatile then a survivor. They are faster by a longshot even the slowest killer can catch a survivor. So how is the killer weaker, i have more ruthless killers awards then successful escapes by a longshot.
I hear decisive strike is to overpowered, how? Its a one time use that you can miss, the most it can delay you is 16 seconds. Yet some very powerful killer perks like bbq and chilli have no cooldown at all. What about killer addons that stay until the game ends while survivor addons last until the item is used up. Offerings that allow a killer to kill a survivor that was hooked once(Should be twice) or increase the hook count by three when there everywhere already.
Heres something that always bothered me, why is it a survivor can jump off something high or even a foot high and be stunned for like a second but a killer jumps off the same height carrying a survivor but there are no ramifications for that? Nothing added to the wiggle meter, no stun for a second, just i jumped off prenn asylum carrying a full grown adult and im fine. Killers are overpowered, thats my take on survivors vs killers.
One thing i will say they should allow is a killer to grab a survivor that is delaying the end of the game by butt dancing at the gates exit kinda like being pulled off a gen.Let me see if I can break down your points in a respectful manner. For this reason I will assume every paragraph is a point you have made. And please note that I've played survivor and killer. But I am a majority killer when I am not in a SWF match with my friends.
- Survivors are weaker than killers on a one vs one. But this is a 1 vs 4. Killers may have powers but to say they have no limitations is straight up wrong. Especially on consoles where the frames are a wee bit worse. And poor Nurse is bent over because of it (not to say there aren't good Nurses out there on consoles). Every killer has a limit and a counterplay regarding their power. Trapper's traps can be disarmed and broken, Hillbilly can be juked still and slamming into walls can be a hazard, Hag is slow and her traps can be taken out with flashlights or while she is holding someone. I could go on but I would rather you read on instead of disregarding this post.
- Would you rather to not have any other objectives to do as a survivor? A killer has the ever charming job of having to chase a survivor around loops and other stuff in the time it takes for three generators to pop. As the name implies the killer's job is to kill. So of course they have to (eventually) catch the survivors. But the major problems with the more better Killer perks is that perks like Ruin is a HEX perk, and there were one a many time that I have spawned right next to it, destroying it in seconds.
- Okay, maybe you've had the benefit of having survivors who could hit a DS but not a great skill check, I cannot tell you how many games I have lost or nearly lost a game cause my poor shoulder has been stabbed at a bad time. Barbeque and Chilli requires you to actually hook a survivor and half the time you won't see/be able to reach anyone in time. Plus the perk is mostly used for the blood points anyways. The thing about killer add-ons is that you lose them after a match, survivor items and add-ons are not lost if you are smart and don't use the entire thing up in one go. The moris are there for simple pleasure after a hard day. And tell me, how many times have you actually seen a oak offering? Which survivors also have.
- I'd like to assume killers don't care or are empowered by the Entity when they fall off a large height. I'll give you that maybe the Hag or the new killer probably should have some kind of penalty for falling, at least with a survivor on hand. Killers are supposed to be overpowered, that's the point. Do you want them to be ran around even more then half of even the best killers.
No one is against dragging survivors out of the gate if they are butt dancing. That's annoying.

This is fun.

Or we could have a killer that says completely stationary for the entire game. This is the best idea for the killer we could ever have. We should take perks and add-ons and offerings off killers as well and Survivors can use as many perks as they want to.This is sarcasm in case you couldn't tell.

I like the idea, especially the Broken/Haste component. However, i don't think the Broken effect should be on basement hooks. It gives way too much of an advantage in a situation where survivors are already vulnerable. Other than that it looks fine.Would like to see more BP farming perks for survivors like this and BBQ as well.
I might come up with something for that. Survivors definitely need more blood point gain love. As for the broken effect in general, it's to prevent survivors from just healing in the basement or even hanging around the general area. But I could either tone it down or give a different effect. I'll go do that change now.
-
@thesuicidefox said:
Well Deliverance is meant to be like a last resort sort of thing IMO, you are usually better off letting someone else save you since then you could heal. You should be using if you are NOT going to get saved. If people knew you had it they might just not save you, and while you could save yourself again if they can save and heal you that's the optimal play. The major problem is that Deliverance is also a achievement/trophy. Your fellow survivors can screw you out of it by being overly altruistic. And even as a last resort it can fail if used when the killer is most likely close enough to catch you anyways. Besides, you can't use it on your second hook. You're pretty much forced to use it on your first hook. Sure letting others save you and then getting healed is a optimal play, but mah trophy.

@HatCreature said:
I've made several different posts/discussions on this perk and how to improve it but they were all about altering what the perk did while you just improved what it already does. The faster Entity progression would be a great tool if it was faster, you made it faster AND made it for hooks above ground as well. So yours can be used on half of the normal hooks but the full power is still in the basement, and it gives more points. I would totally use this in a Basement build because I love Basement builds and I never use this perk because it's crap.I'll take this comment as you liking my idea. If so, thanks, I like trying to come up with ideas that could be worthwhile. Now if only the devs could see this then that would be just fine.
Also yeah, the point of this would be that it should still be a basement relient perk, BUT should be 'viable' outside the basement if all else fails.
-

That or I go after the first person I see if they aren't hiding very well (especially after a unhook), though if I see someone else maybe I might go after them. I don't particularly target survivors on their own, just the player behind the survivor.
I don't know if you're on console or PC but all the Dwights I see on PS4 hide in lockers, screw their team over, try to be good but end up failing, or they're trying too hard to get my attention. If you're a great Dwight then awesome, set that standard. And I actually don't like the character himself, as in the backstory, he sounds like a tool who desperately wants to fit in which clashes with my nonconformist lifestyle, he's not a bad person I just don't like him.
Unless he's wearing that awesome blue pizza hoodie or the Vigo outfit, he actually looks less like a tool in those outfits.
PS4 Dwight here, the only time I would actually go into lockers is for the memes or if I have to afk for some reason. Otherwise I'd rather be as far away from killers as possible. Dwight does seem like a tool but not in my hands 8-) I unfortunately cannot change the way other people play Dwights, I can only hope I don't get killed because someone assumed all Dwights were the same.

I don't mind the 110% myself to be honest. But a honest to Entity good buff would be for Feral Frenzy to work with NoEd, then people will be like "OH S**T!"It pains me to say this, but I don't think the timer should go down while being chased. Everything else is solid though.
What sort of ranks are you playing at as Legion? An experienced survivor who knows his current movement speed can take full advantage of that, based on what I have been against.
The NoEd would be cool but then it comes down to an end game spree of clutch heals. And 75% of the time NoEd is destroyed in about 30/40 seconds of being activated.
I'm quite interested to hear why you think Legion and his ability make him a viable killer, if you have the time let me know! I'll be sure to read it.
When I first got him I was like rank 4-2. I did alright but I guess that's because he was relatively new.
The next few games I actually COULD play were pretty alright too with the rank reset. With him alone I got to rank 8-7 from rank 12(ish). Sure I get ran around, sure I get looped, but I guess because I played Hag for a good decent time I found the speed tolerable. Plus once I got Ruin I did better but then again all killers do at least marginally better with that perk. Shadowborn or M&A (Preferred) are also really nice on him, as the F.O.V makes you feel faster.
I am not saying his is a viable killer persay, only that if used 'right' he can net you a kill or four if the survivors, as with all killers, make mistakes. Could the Legion be better? Of course, but for now I am making my way up the ranks with him, whether or not I kill. It all comes down to your play style. I am not a complete tunneler, if I see another target normally I'd go for them, especially after a unhook.
Do I want him to be Nurse Tier? No, Trapper or Huntress tier probably. But my opinion is that he is fine mostly as he is. He definitely needs some tweaks but again my opinion is that he is pretty good.
