  • I don’t DC these days. The only times I’ve ever DC’d as Killer is if I’m just totally fed up with the survivors I’m facing and I know there’s essentially no hope of victory.

  • Why’s that? I have heard that Xqc has a bit of a dodgy history (Apparently he said something homophobic aimed at a gay person but again unsure if that’s true as it’s from Wikipedia lol) but he hasn’t done anything recently has he?

"What about people who don't have time to practice on the game?"

Well, then the "with practice" sentence doesn't apply to them.

Though i completely agree with your "Everyone could be a millionare" explanation, i think that being good at the game is more achievable simply because there's less competition.

    Ah right my bad lol.

"he essentially argued that because he can do well on basically every killer without add ons that therefore everyone could do the same with practice."

Well, that wasn't a wrong statement since he said "with practice"

You’re not wrong But it’s a bit disingenuous to claim everyone could get to his level. It’s like saying, ‘Everyone could be a millionaire’. It’s technically true but the statement ignores all nuance. What about people who don’t have time to practice on the game? Let’s not forget that he plays the game for a living. Or what about people who, for lack of a better term, aren’t smart enough to get to his level? I mean no matter how hard I tried to get good, I could never really get beyond just being ok. I’m alright with that, at the end of the day, just being ok in a video game is fine. It’s just that, to get onto Otz’s level would require an immense amount of time and practice. On top of that there’s differing levels of intelligence, some people don’t handle stress as well and could panic in a close match and many other factors like disabilities which give inherent disadvantages. I don’t think Otz is a bad guy, I just didn’t agree with what he said.

Honestly, for me nothing inside of DBD's matches is really toxic behaviour to me. As long as it's part of intended gameplay within the official rules I consider everything kind of ok, at most annoying.

The most toxicity for me comes from endgame chat where people flame you for the way you played because you didn't follow their rules (which is even more toxic behaviour that they don't even realise they have, shaming others for not abiding their made up rules).

I agree, a lot of the toxic behaviour in this community comes not from teabagging and flashlight clicking but from people trying to lecture you that you’re playing the game wrong. ‘No you can’t play that killer, I don’t like them’, ‘No you’re not allowed to play with friends, that’s cheating’. People will find anything and everything to complain about. The game can be very triggering if you try to take it seriously so perhaps people just find things to complain about to vent? The anonymity of the internet doesn’t help either as you can say genuinely horrible things with the only real consequence being that you get banned. There’s not much Behaviour can do to address that one though lol.

  • Personally I’m not a fan of the whole bullshit thing of survivors always do x or killers always do y. Individual people are making these decisions, lumping every player who just so happens to play that role in with the genuinely toxic people is very harmful. That only serves to perpetuate the stupid us vs them mentality that’s still ever present in this community. Regardless, it is quite unpleasant to try hard when there’s a DC so survivors being upset is understandable, obviously doesn’t justify harassment but still. Downing someone who’s just been unhooked to slug them isn’t remotely toxic though, you’re still letting them have a chance, you’re just trying to snowball pressure. Some people do genuinely just complain about anything and everything that is a mild inconvenience to them. Probably too immature to recognise that they’re playing against a person, not an unfeeling robot.

  • I do love watching Otz occasionally. I do disagree with some of his opinions however and he can be a bit arrogant at times. If I’m not mistaken, in a recent video of his, he essentially argued that because he can do well on basically every killer without add ons that therefore everyone could do the same with practice. This is obviously not true, some people just play casually and wouldn’t have the time nor the will to get to his level whilst others just suck no matter how hard they try to improve. He’s really good, most others aren’t. (If I’ve misremembered his argument then please do let me know.) Regardless, he is still a genuinely nice guy from the looks of things and his videos and streams are quite entertaining. He also helped me improve a lot because he often explains what he’s doing.

  • In my own personal experience the blights I faced were often kinda sweaty, slugging for the 4K, tryharding in a game with an early DC, that kinda thing. I don’t recall them being toxic necessarily so I guess they’re fine, just a bit unpleasant I guess lol.

  • Honestly they could just add your first idea accompanied with a slightly different version of idea 2. Instead of it being a skill check (which good survivors actually could potentially hit mid chase) maybe instead there’s a brief 3-4 second animation that they must do to cancel the regression. If they cancel it before it’s done then they have to start the animation again. Essentially removes all possibility of gen tapping, unless of course there’s multiple survivors.

  • This is Behaviour we're talking about. Lets be realistic.

  • @Pilot said:

Nurse fits the category of borderline broken power and slow movement that you mention, with the exception of huge terror radius.

A killer with more than 115% movement speed and a power relatively weak, especially if it's one designed for chase, can be borderline broken. the 5% movement speed is monumental (if we were to have a 120% killer) and it's something that would be very hard to balance. Unless something is done to make his basic attacks less effective, like a smaller reach.

Situational powers are probably one of the worst designed powers IMO, especially if they're map dependent.

Insanely fast killer with no power? So you want a 150% wraith looking thing that all he does is m1 to play? Oh yeah, I would also love to play against this as survivor /s.

    -------------

I'm also here to remind you that BHVR works constantly on new killer and their designs. We're gonna get Trickster next week. They are already working on the killer that they're gonna release for mid of May / anniversary and august / september.

New and interesting designs don't just come up after a night of sleep, ya know? They come after multiple sessions & discussions. Multiple trial and errors.

I get that my examples sucked but that wasn’t the point. I even said so in my post. My point was simply that I wished Behaviour were more willing to make a killer that doesn’t abide by the typical killer formula we’ve become accustomed to.

Not gunna lie. i want to stop playing dbd. i truly do, But i can't.. it's a rough cycle that I just can't walk away after all the hours and money i put into this..

Sounds like you’re addicted my friend. You at least have acknowledged the problem so you can stop. I can guarantee you’ll feel better for it. When I regularly played the game a month ago I would regularly get angry, upset and my mind felt kind of out of sorts because I just wasn’t enjoying myself. I only play occasionally now and I feel better for it. I still check the forums and play occasionally but I’ve been slowly distancing myself where I can. Games can be an addiction, just like a drug. I hope you can convince yourself to take the break you need.

  • An actually wholesome post on the DBD forums? That is quite a treat.

  • I mean you’re absolutely within your right to do so if you want.

My friend, please don't ever strike up a conversation with anybody that reads manga. You will probably be very grossed out. Females in those circles frequently lust after genuinely abusive men and unrepentant playboys, while Males develop crushes on criminally insane murderers and legitimate man eating monsters. It's actually pretty normal honestly, if a bit niche.

And also google Male Kpop/Jpop stars for why he's dressed like that. He is designed to be attractive, but most likely only because that's in line with his role as pop star.

I personally don’t engage much with anime or manga but I was never aware of that. I see now why Behaviour made the Trickster look the way he does, I just am a little uncomfortable with people seemingly ignoring the lore all the while adoring him design wise. Perhaps people just don’t care about the lore these days, even if said lore completely changes the way you might see them. For me personally, I knew he’d be a murderer going in (he’s the new killer so that much was obvious lol) so when I first saw him I just thought he was kind of a quirky dude but otherwise alright. Once I understood the depths of the characters depravity, I just couldn’t look at him the same way. With Clown at least most people only jokingly simp for him, with Trickster, there seems to be a genuine infatuation with him from some people. They might be the minority but it’s still a bit uncomfortable to think about.

  • I personally dislike how he was almost seemingly designed for the r34 crowd, I mean the dude has his chest completely exposed and that’s his default outfit lol. I can see why people like him though and I respect their opinion. His neon aesthetic, whilst a little at odds with DBD’s aesthetic, is still fine I guess if you consider all the silly neon cosmetics already in the game. My issue comes in when people start genuinely getting the hots for him. For two main reasons

    • Obviously the first being that he’s a fictional character, (like that’s ever stopped people from simping for these characters lol)
    • The second reason however is that I do find it slightly concerning that people took such a liking to him, considering his rather disturbing lore. Obviously this is a horror game and so you know, killers are supposed to be really bad people. However the fact that some people rather explicitly like him because he’s hot is a little concerning considering how in the context of the lore, he’s literally a serial killer.

Maybe I’m just being a boomer here but getting the hots for serial killers, real or fictional, is very disturbing to me. Perhaps that’s why those jokey posts about which killer is the hottest make me so uncomfortable lol.

  • Eh, it’s fun to play on occasion but I’m very burnt out so the gameplay loop has become very repetitive and Behaviour’s refusal to add a new gamemode... Definitely doesn’t help lol.

  • Doesn't the map have numerous platform gens? The pallets are hard to work with but are still better than those genuinely useless filler pallets on Ormond. On top of that you have to break the wall on the top floor of the main building. Repair gens efficiently and it's probably fairly balanced no? Unless of course it's a Nurse but Nurse basically just gets to play an entirely different game if they're good.

  • @Phasmamain said:

Feels like it which sucks as I hate fighting her

Same tbh, It seems to me that a lot of people like her because of all the booping the snoot stuff lol. If you actually look at her power it's not very fun or interactive at all (I'm mainly referring to the reverse bear traps here, the dash attack she has is quite weak without add ons).

  • Absolutely not, I don't think a FNAF killer would fit in with the other killers.

  • All these things are great but the Devs will likely never do any of these suggestions. This game survives through it's grind. The gameplay is good but after a while it becomes incredibly tedious due to there only being ONE game mode (or two if you count killer and survivor as separate game modes).

  • They're not going to listen if you phrase it like that. I agree that Killer should take priority if they found it first but telling them to "Fix your game" is probably not going to help your case.

  • I honestly wouldn't mind either way as long as there was some clear indicator for the Killer that they're chasing a particular survivor. Might help prevent accidental tunnelling. Especially in situations where people are playing the same survivor. Perhaps a survivors portrait could light up orange or blue or something for the Killer's pov only when they chase that particular survivor.

  • As long as I'm not playing on any of the reworked maps (They tend to have very bad grass for traps) and as long as there's no Object, Trapper is great. Still REALLY frustrating at times but fun nonetheless. It is immensely satisfying to successfully snowball a match thanks to some well placed traps. He has to work a lot harder for it when compared to Hag so I find him more fun. (I used to play a decent bit of Hag but with her you either curb stomp the survivors, or get curb stomped, with little in-between) Though that's just my experience.

  • By this I of course mean only occasionally because survivor ques suck and I don't enjoy Killer anymore.

  • I don't think it's really possible to make this perk truly fair. To be worth picking it would have to be buffed so much that I imagine it would be extremely annoying to face. If it wasn't buffed enough then it would still be a perk that is just a hinderance to the team. It needs a full rework in my opinion.

  • The graphically updated maps all have really see-through grass, which makes playing Trapper an even more miserable experience then it already is. He's gotten small buffs and changes over the years but I think he needs a proper looking at to make him less add-on reliant and just overall boost his consistency.

  • I don't really identify with any of the options. I think the change is problematic, but not because I'm just mad that a good perk is being nerfed. I have a problem with the change because it perpetuates the Behaviour classic of putting solutions to the game's problems in the form of perks. It's less problematic when the characters who have said perks are free e.g. Bill having BT which kind of counters Camping and tunnelling. However it starts to become a serious problem when the characters housing said perks are DLC. While the non-licensed DLC characters are technically "free" they still require a massive time sink to buy with shards because the game is far from generous when it comes to shards. However, It's particularly egregious with licensed characters because you have no choice but to cough up some cash or just pray to RNGesus that the perk you want will be in the shrine. DS, as you know, is one of Laurie's perks. So if I'm coughing up money then I'm expecting a quality product. DS as it is currently is undeniably too strong, but I think it needed a complete rework and not just gutting it. When it gets changed it will be purely anti-tunnel which means it'll do nothing else. If you don't get tunnelled it does nothing. Current DS is inarguably too oppressive but at least it allows the user to get semi-consistent use out of it if you played aggressively. Once the change comes, unless you're a really unlucky person, DS will do nothing in probably half your games. Perhaps even more than half. I think Behaviour are making a mistake in just nerfing it, they need to rework it entirely and add some sort of base-kit anti-tunnelling effect. Even if the base anti-tunnelling effect was super weak and only helped against tunnelling half the time it would still be better than running a DLC perk from a licensed character which will often be useless.

  • The twins update straight up broke the game lol. This new update is bad for the most part but at least it's semi-functional (At least so far)

  • I'd argue the maps are actually darker then they were before. The maps have a darker, more eerie look to them now. It's not at all scary though. Too much exposure to something and it stops being scary. The only time I actually get scared by DBD these days is if I get jump scared by a Ghostface or something but jumps cares are more startling then scary. I'm not actually afraid of Ghostface but him suddenly appearing still would make me jump lol. So basically, the maps may look spookier but I'm completely desensitised to this game now so it doesn't frighten me.

  • I should be mad but I honestly walked right into that one so it's my fault truthfully. Well played.

  • What exhaustion perk were you using? If it was dead hard then I think him denying dead hard with a shock is an intended feature.

  • @EndMePlease said:

People complain that ds is ,,useless" because they get tunneled every game but now ds is an actual anti tunneling perk and not a 1 minute godmode ...

I have a problem with the change because it perpetuates the Behaviour classic of putting solutions to the game's problems in the form of perks. In summary, I think this proposed change by Behaviour is problematic because it will make a strong DLC perk, much much weaker. This as a result, would leave many feeling cheated out of their money as the perk would be a shell of it's former self, especially since this is purely a nerf, not a rework. There is no big nerf with a tiny little buff to soften the blow. It just does the one thing now and said thing it's designed to counter doesn't happen as much as some might let on. (This is giving me some old mettle of man vibes, though I doubt the nerf to DS will be as bad as the nerf to mettle of man lol). Anyways, thanks for reading and I hope you have a nice day.

First off, Thank you for the kind words

Weirdly enough though, a LOT of my problems with this game were fixed now that my Series X showed up

So many of my issues with this game are flat out gone. I'm starting to think the Last Gen consoles just couldn't handle all the updates this game has had and I never noticed until I got the upgrade. Things like the frame rate drops, missing survivors with my swing, losing track of survivors cause they just vanished; all issues that are fixed now.

Sure, some issues will never be fixed like SWAT Team SWF groups but even then, it's so much easier to deal with now that I have the proper equipment...

I'm glad you're problems are fixed. I myself did notice a massive improvement in the general experience of the game when I swapped to PC. Feels more smooth. Even when it's only 60 fps instead of 30. I usually get 70 odd though because I uncapped the fps.

FYI I'm playing the game again because a streamer I enjoy watching was doing swfs and now I like the game again. I'm convinced there is no escape from this game, lol.

I'm probably biased but I get WAY too stressed out playing survivor. Killer is just relaxing to me.

That's interesting, for me it's the complete opposite. I used to be a Killer main but it started getting so stressful and frustrating that I started mainly playing survivor. Survivor has moments where the tension spikes but there's also plenty of downtime on gens. It's mainly only tense if there's a stealth killer and you don't have spine chill. Slap on Spine chill and playing survivor becomes pretty chill. Gens are fairly boring though so survivor for me is more chill but with the trade-off of having all the boring objectives.

  • @tippy2k2 said:

If I were smart, I'd leave

But I'm not. I'll stay here, keeping being a plaything for a bunch of ######### using four second chance perks, getting pissed off, and then playing another match to do it all over again

    I wish I wasn't such a ######### moron...

It's not your fault, this game, like most others is designed to be addictive. You aren't stupid and you most definitely are not the only one who feels/felt this way. I was in a similar situation to what you're in now. I would highly recommend that you take at the very least a break, or better yet, quit the game forever. I loved this game and I still feel some attachment to it, which is why I'm on the forums lol. Anyhow, I stopped playing a few weeks ago and I feel less tense and less uptight. The game had genuinely become an unhealthy addiction for me and it was causing me completely unnecessary stress and anger. Eventually I became so bored and burnt-out that I stopped playing. I reflected on myself and the game and realised that this game is fundamentally flawed. The main objective for survivors is extremely boring, Killer is stressful against competent teams and so many perks are either completely useless, or so good that you're handicapping yourself by not using them. Balance changes are incredibly slow and rarely release any meaningful changes which might massively shake up the gameplay. We're four years into the game's life cycle and we still only have one game mode (or two if you want to count Killer and survivor as being different game modes). That is genuinely laughable. Especially since other games can easily maintain multiple game modes and have at least an adequate level of balance. Meanwhile, DBD is just barely balanced. I understand that due to it's nature as an asymmetrical game, it is inherently harder to balance. In my opinion, that shouldn't be an excuse to just not bother. Behaviour is a multi-million dollar company. They can afford to make more frequent changes and add new game-modes but they just don't do it. At this point it's abundantly clear that the majority of the developers are simply doing the absolute bear minimum. They know they have a monopoly on this type of game, so why try am I right? People will still throw money at them either way. Anyhow this turned into a bit of a rant which I do apologize for. Nonetheless, I hope this inspired you to at least take a break to clear your head. Perhaps then you could come back to the game with a fresh outlook, or better yet, you could just quit the game.

  • I usually just use DS. Ironically however, DS isn't even a very good anti-tunnel perk if you're truly being tunnelled. At this point though I don't even play the game anymore. I don't even know why I'm still on these forums, lol.

  • It's not the best exhaustion perk, lol. I just like it because I can't accidentally use it at an inconvenient time unlike Sprint burst or lithe.

  • Pig, she's so boring to play as and against that I basically only see a pig once in a blue moon. Half the time I forget she's even in the game until I check the killer select screen or visit the forums lol.

  • Doctor is quite suave, at least compared to the other killers. Plus he just sounds like he's having the time of his life, lol.

  • All of them. I'm genuinely starting to hate not only this game but also it's community. The Devs don't give a ######### about us and If you give an opinion that people even slightly disagree with then you either get turned into a laughing stock or ganged up on by over a dozen different people so it becomes difficult to respond appropriately. I've seen this happen countless times. The forums are so often just miserable, which makes sense considering it's the Dead by Daylight forums. A lot of people it seems are dissatisfied with the current state of the game which explains why a lot of the people on the forums seem pissed but it doesn't make for a very pleasant place to speak in.

  • Sprint burst is always useful, unlike every other exhaustion perk which sometimes just don't work. E.g. Dead hard against an insta-down killer, balanced landing on a map with very few drops etc. I personally wouldn't consider Adrenaline to be a normal exhaustion perk as it only activates a single time and can only be activated at the end but yeah.

  • Probably has something to do with licensing. Well that or the Devs are just too lazy to make them work like normal cosmetics. I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if it was just sheer laziness if what Scottjund said in one of his latest videos is true lol.

  • The cosmetics are insanely overpriced but they'll never lessen the prices across the board because of that sweet sweet money.

  • @gibblywibblywoo said:

The problem is that a lot of people play PH for the "easy way out". They like the cage mechanic not for the time save but that it allows them to bypass a perk like DS that would usually (rightfully) stun them and punish them for tunneling.

It's a player problem more than a design problem to me.

I'd like to add that personally I'd be 'fine' with making both killer and hook perks work against PH. He's pretty limited by a large number of perks right now.

Couldn't he still tunnel though? Instead of caging and then potentially eating DS after with your change, they could just hook and then cage to avoid DS no problem.

Pyramid Head tunnelling is a choice and he is incredibly effective without it, these generalisations because of toxic players are bad, yeah its unfortunate tunnellers exist but guess what every killers has tunnellers and campers. I know that doesn't mean its fine to do these things but trying to get a killer nerfed further and/or get a rework because you don't like a very unrewarding capability his power has is just bad and on a small level, entitled.

Before you call me an entitled killer main or whatever I actually am a survivor main and I just actually play killer like a decent person.

Did you mean ineffective? I'm sorry but that was really confusing to read as I can't actually tell if you're agreeing or disagreeing with me. I think it seems more critical so I'll respond under the assumption you disagree. So anyways, The issue isn't that he can tunnel because love it or hate it, tunnelling is possible regardless of the killer. The issue is that he is WAY better at tunnelling. Every other killer has to slug for a minute if they want to tunnel or pick up and risk eating the DS. Good ol' pp head can just immediately cage you and even if you're genuinely being tunnelled it doesn't matter because pp head just gets to break the rules. The only way to actually use DS against pp head is to immediately jump into the first locker you find but I have a feeling locker DS'ing will be removed sooner or later which will lead survivors with literally no options if that happens. Plus as far as I'm aware, locker DS is seen as unfair so the survivor will be made out to be the bad guy lol.

At the end of the day, Pyramid head can take you out of the game very quickly if he wants and unlike with literally every other killer, there is very little to no counterplay to a tunnelling Pyramid head if you're tormented. (FYI this all depends on you being tormented, if you aren't tormented then he's basically just a normal killer, lol)

  • @[Deleted User] said:

lol what? he's just been gutted to the point that nobody plays him anymore. Why is it that players of this game want to keep going and going until something is literally worthless?

So because he's no longer easy mode he's therefore bad? Pyramid head is fine and would be fine even if they removed his ability to tunnel. Is he hard to do well with? Yes. Does that mean he's bad? No. Like with Nurse, you need to make reads to hit your power and is easily dodged if the wrong read is made. So, like Nurse, both can essentially ignore loops if played well. Unless your on Hawkins, hawkins as pp head is painful if the survivors abuse it, lol.

  • As someone who used to play a crap ton of pyramid head, I'm all for gutting how good of a tunneller he is. However, he should receive some kind of compensation as it would be a sizable nerf (even if the nerf is well deserved). Perhaps your first idea could be implemented and as compensation torment is applied if he successfully lands his punishment of the damned attack. That way cages would function as purely timesavers and a tool for snowballing (caging instead of slugging to avoid unbreakable and progress their hook stages). It's surprisingly hard to torment good survivors without the add-ons that increase the duration of trails staying in the environment, so maybe this could be a fair trade-off. He'd be a worse tunneller but he'd have a much easier time tormenting survivors.

This exactly this. Same goes for deathslinger, nurse, spirit.

I main hag and most of what people are complaining about can be done on any other killers, camping bubba, just patrol 3 gens with doc, etc etc. A hag that drops ten traps around the one hook is not gonna achieve anything unless the survivors feed it just like any other camper. Yet somehow this problem is specific to her.

She really mixes up the game play and you have to be cautious and careful about unhooking and where you step, that's all it is. If you are going for boldness points against Hag you are doing it wrong.

Yeah many hags have the teleport mapped to mouse wheel because its her prime power, she ports and hits, the rest of the time she is so slow that unless you are stacking bloodlust you probably aren't getting much done. The nurse being stunned before she can swing is a great analogy here. Nothing worse then having a ping spikey night on hag, good luck hitting anything.

Her power shines with respect to killer reaction speed, you are hyper focused when you play hag as missing that port can be critical, also baiting with a port to have folks run back into you is a big part of it. She's is one of the killers that requires the most split second focus and response. Playing hag well is a meerkat level of alertness.

"But I want to run in a circle around that rock for 5 mins and why can't I just do that to every killer". Why don't we just delete all killers and have a white rectangle called 'generic bad guy' they just follow you around so can loop to your hearts content.

Let me tell you if you water down all the killers, you water down the game. Bring back the fear to DBD.

I think the issue with basement Hag is that whether the Hag leaves the basement or not is irrelevant as that survivor is already dead the moment they're on that hook. Especially since there are traps you can place which can't be destroyed with a flashlight as they'll be automatically triggered. This means that if the Hag leaves the basement they can play territorally to camp them to death AND defend their 3 gen. 9 times out of 10 unhooking in that situation will just lead to a trade. This is especially problematic as with Agitation, Hag can usually corral people into her web and eventually get her basement hook. At which point that's just gg unless the survivors are really coordinated (Which can't be expected from solo que). I think that's the reason she's disliked. She encourages a very tunnelly/campy playstyle AND also has a downright insane chase power when set up well. Which isn't very hard, I used to play Hag a lot and at least 3K'd like 90% of my games by being territorial.

If a Hag sets up in an area and the survivor goes there, they go down. The counterplay there is to just know where she set up (Which, again, cannot be expected of solo's). You could argue that's the same with Trapper, here's the thing though. Trapper has to collect his power and thus his set up takes substantially longer. Hag can just set up a trap, wherever and whenever she wants. Her traps are capped at 10 but it's not like Demo where if you place all your traps then you can't place another. There is no consequence for just placing a trap at every loop you come across which means that even a bad player can excel if they just so happened to set up well. People don't want braindead looping but what they do want is viable counterplay. You can't exactly flashlight the trap midchase so if you go into her web of traps then you're dead, especially if basement is nearby.

People complain about Deathslinger but not Huntress. Why is that? I'd argue it's because there's actual counterplay with Huntress. She telegraphs by audio and visual cues when she pulls up her hatchets so survivors know when to try and dodge. With Deathslinger there is no audio cue and on top of that, he can instantly shoot after ADSing or cancel the ADS and M1 normally. This means that you either have to be constantly dodging which will get you hit if he cancels his power, hold forward and hope he misses which will get you hit if he commits to the shot or constantly keep looking back whilst simultaneously not bumping into anything. Even if you do that last one, if you bump into something you'll get hit, if he fakes the shot by ADSing and then cancelling it then you get hit and even if he commits to the shot you can still be hit if he makes the correct read. It's very stressful and unfun to be chased by a Deathslinger but that's just my two cents.

I personally think you're trying to dumb down people's arguments because the idea that people might have genuine complaints regarding your main is uncomfortable to think about. Which I would understand if that's the case. The idea that by playing my favourite killer I'd be making the survivors game miserable is uncomfortable for me to think about. Perhaps you're afraid that if enough people will complain then she could be nerfed which could reduce your enjoyment of playing her, which is also understandable, if a bit selfish. Or perhaps you don't care and I'm just needlessly assuming things, lol. Either way, this has gone on for far too long and I need to eat my lunch. I hope this wasn't too much of a trudge to read and I wish you a happy Holiday!

This time for a console it's actually CONFIRMED to eventually be coming to. Crossprogression released not long after dbd on Stadia. I want to know when crossprogression is coming to Nintendo Switch though. We keep hearing "It's on the way" but that's not good enough. We heard the same thing about mori/key changes and Freddy to switch. No warning and it just happened (except for key changes which are still "on the way"). Can we get anything? Seriously, ANYTHING? I'm kind of tired of being in the dark, especially about something I really really want. Even if it's like "It'll probably be here during or prior to Summer of 2021" that's still better than "It's on the way".

I couldn't agree more. I personally hate how vague Behaviour often are when they announce something. Really annoying.

  • Bugs or not, the game has been really stale and repetitive as of late. If they decided to forego the next chapter in favour of an operation health chapter then I might just quit tbh. I probably should quit either way considering how this game's fundamental flaws will never be fixed. I mean, c'mon, in what universe does standing still and watching a progress bar go up constitute fun gameplay? Many more games to be played I suppose.
