I hope this gets fixed soon, because right now it's either RPD/Haddonfield offering hell, or a map with uncleanse-able totems. And there is at least one Mikaela per game, sometimes two right now.
Something also feels very squiffy with MMR at present. Either the removal of the DC penalty is letting coordinated groups smurf their MMR down really fast, or something was changed/disabled/broken behind the scenes.
As the post mentioned, it should be fixed with the first bugfix patch.

Do you know why the offerings are disabled but not the actual maps? I still get Dead Dawg Saloon and Yamaoka Estate from time to time. It's so confusing honestly
They disabled the offerings to avoid people from purposely going to those maps using totem builds, to abuse those bugged spots.
-
Those are known issues, it's the reason why some offerings got disabled: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/299

This would be nice, it happens to forget the challenge you selected, especially if you did it the previous time you played and forgot to check them before playing.

This topic comes up periodically, but this is not the place to throw shades at people for their opinions.

Tunneling is actually against the rules and both are considered toxic. Both are considered underhanded so why is ok for the killer to be toxic and underhanded but not ok for survivors to be toxic? I would never encourage someone to send a nasty message to someone after loosing a match. If some killer or survivors were toxic I would simply block them or report them if they say inappropriate, vulgar or dangerous things to me. But on many occasions as a killer I have been accused of things I didn't do and I don't say anything back because there is no point in arguing with them. I simply block them and move on. I'm not saying everyone should do that or has to but that's just how I handled these things. The fact is that when killers tunnel its frustrating and that is mentally taxing itself. When information is missing on one side it can make it seem like they did wrong. No one likes killers who are toxic or underhanded (not saying he was) and when your constantly getting tunneled it can be frustrating. They have every right to be a little upset. However I don't think its right to take your anger on others. I don't think they should of said anything to him they should just blocked him and moved on. Also I don't want to hear that tunneling isn't against the rules its true its not bannable unless you tunnel the same person multiple times in multiple matches. But it is something they can ban you over if alot of people turn you in for it. That is the same for camping if they think you are abusing the camping and doing it to the same person in every match in multiple matches you can get banned. Camping and tunneling actually hurts the game. When you have a bad experience in the game like those underhanded things it can cause players to quit or not speak well of the game it can bringing the player base down. If you loose player base the game will die and if you enjoy the game you don't want that. It's just smarter for the game itself to not camp and tunnel. Though it's a game and you should just play the way you want. Anyway that's stuff I hope you have a fun one!
Neither camping nor tunneling are against the rules, what you are referring to is targeting and it's much more than just camping someone, you can dislike it as much as you want, but please avoid spreading false information.
Back to the topic, I'm sorry for anyone who is victim of this kind of verbal abuse, please report it, either using the in-game report system if it happens in the in-game chat (lobby or tally screen) or reporting it to the platform if it happens in DMs outside of the game.

Never said you were, but you would think with all the bs the NFT stuff started BHVR would give enough of a flying **** to tell their mods how to address it or address it themselves. The silence only proves these claims right but I understand where you are coming from
I wish I could give you some words of comfort in regards this entire situation, but sadly I cannot, the best we can do is to keep sharing our thoughts and opinions on this thread, this is the kind of feedback we need to put out.
I understand people are upset and angry, don't blame them and they have the right to be, we still have to do our job here, because as much as we discuss, there are people whose life depends on the game and they cannot stop working on or with it, so let's try to be empathetic.

Imagine a mod coming to disprove the banning/removal of posts but NOT the NFT stuff XD kinda sus man ngl
Sorry but I'm no CEO.

Karu has not been banned for discussing the topic, his thread is still up, he knows the reasons of his ban.

That is not the twitter post they are referring to. There was one last week in which they implied the NFT was created outside of their control, and then the one yesterday that stated that they worked close with the group for months.
In between these tweets, BHVR mods removed any threads suggesting BHVR worked close with the group for months, and banned people. Then they later said it was true.
I'm going to correct you about this: no thread has been removed then or now, people that got warned or banned, did for breaking the rules, not for discussing the topic.
You can go back and find the threads yourself.

The actual event hasn't started yet:
Not saying there will be what you are asking for, I don't have that information, but there's still a couple of days before the event actually starts.

Not sure if this was definitive, I guess we'll see when the patch drops, but this was what the PTB patch notes mentioned:

I think this thread has gone long enough, so I'm closing it.

They can't because insulting someone personally is much better than having different opinions for them
Let's drop it here, we have to remember this is a discussion, people are going to have different opinions, we have to accept it and respect them.
Now back on topic.

Please keep the discussion civil and respectful, thank you.

I still like the idea that someone mentioned not long ago of having neutral rituals, like play a certain amount of games or gain a certain amount of emblems of a specific rarity.
And of course I'd love to get more bloodpoints from them as well.
-
I don't think this is the place for this kind of discussions, so I'm closing this here.

Is a screenshot of the scoreboard enough proof, if the survivor has a 'hacked' item?
Like if a survivor brought a flashlight that had gel dressings for example
Yeah, that should be enough proof.

The GeForce thing does not work with the gamepass version of the game.
I think that's an issue in general with Gamepass games, not only Dbd, but knowing that, you can use different softwares to record, like OBS.
-
You have to prove someone is hacking, plus you don't have to keep a recording software on the entire time, if you have an Nvidia card you can use the replay system, you can find more information about it here:

Hello, people of the fog!
When reporting a player, many offences require video evidence to help us investigate your report. Below is a list of bannable offences which may require video evidence:
- Working with the opposite team to gain an advantage or grief teammates
- Targeting specific users repeatedly in order to ruin their game experience
- Holding the game hostage
- Botting
- Lag switching
- Exploit bugs, errors in design, or undocumented features to gain access to what otherwise would not be available or to obtain a competitive advantage
HOW TO RECORD YOUR MATCH:
XBOX:
- Press the XBOX button to open the guide.
- Press the VIEW button, and then select "Record from now" . Depending on your clip's resolution, you can record anywhere from 10 minutes with internal storage and up to 1 hour with external storage.
- To end the clip, open the guide and press the X button . You'll get a notification when it's been saved.
PS4:
- Press the "Share" Button on your controller to begin recording gameplay.
- When you've recorded your match, save your clip, and trim as needed.
- After that you can upload the video directly to your linked YouTube account.
- Length, quality and etc. can be changed depending on your console settings for Video sharing
PC:
- For players using an NVIDIA graphics card, you can enable Shadowplay which will automatically record any gameplay while running in the background.
- To use Shadowplay ensure you have the GeForce Experience program installed.
- Open the in-game overlay settings found in the top right corner. From there, you can turn on "Instant Replay" and adjust settings such as clip length, quality, and audio levels.
- Alternatively, you can use OBS to manually record the incidents.
INFORMATION THAT WILL AID US IN REVIEWING CASES:
Opening your escape menu and viewing the match details tab.
This will allow us to see all of the Survivor characters in the match and usernames of who is playing them.
Visiting the tally menu once a match has ended.
This will allow us to examine player loadouts including perks, items and offerings.
UPLOADING YOUR EVIDENCE
Due to the small file size limit on ZenDesk, we suggest uploading your evidence to YouTube and "Unlisting" it. This will prevent anyone without the link from seeing it, and will allow you to upload without needing to compress the quality to meet the size limit.
For XBOX players,
- Open the Youtube App, and sign in.
- Navigate to the Upload tab. You may need to turn on "Enable Sharing on Social Networks" for your clips to be visible.
- Select your recorded match
- Enter a title and then select upload.
For PC players
- If you wish to cut down your clip, you can do so in the editing software of your choice. Otherwise you can upload the raw footage straight to youtube by navigating to your shadowplay recording folder.
Please keep in mind that even with video evidence, an in-game report is still required.
Screenshots are not considered valid evidence.
If the video sent does not follow our criteria or the quality of the video is low, it is possible that nothing will be done against the player reported.
And when you have to attach it to the ticket, you can just upload it to Youtube as unlisted and post the link in the description.

There were a lot of great recommendations in this post not long ago about horror games:

Just looking to add to my list of games I'll eventually get around to playing lol

As Killer, probably Enduring, well depending on the Killer of course.
Survivor, I'd say Borrowed Time.
-
I haven't seen this happening in Dbd before, I think you can just go in your Task Manager, look for Windows Explorer and right click on it, selecting Restart, that should fix it as far as I know, I had this playing other games.

Thankyou for the picture! Much appreciated!
And sorry but rank means nothing, Escaping doesnt mean skill, sure its be better stats to see but it still doesnt give a great idea due to the way skill is determined means nothing sadly.
That's exactly my point, you cannot really determine anything from stats with no context.
-
Posting there for context:
I wouldn't jump to conclusions purely based on these stats, they include all players, all ratings and ranks.
Not every nerf or buff is related to simply the kill rate of a Killer, there's much more involved.
-
Thank you for doing this, @GoodBoyKaru ❤️
