Makes me laugh when people get toxic around me when I'm playing Trickster. Most of those people are overconfident that they can bully me simply because I'm playing a weaker killer :)

Before I became a Trickster one-trick, I used to love playing Demogorgon but never could do well with him. I even played some matches portal-less to see if it would help because I did best with m1 killers but still could never do well

I really hope this isn't true, because playing Trickster will be unbearable until this gets fixed. Haven't had the chance to see yet, as I've been just been doing circles in my matches to let people get masks.

Was nice all the matches it took for me to get Trickster's mask. I just put on some feel-good vibe music as I looked for the invitation and messed around doing twirls and circles to the music. Helped lead some people to invitations. Most people seemed to gen rush and left thinking I was tricking them maybe, but it was nice and relaxing helping them get their masks, and getting a mask myself with some good vibes. While it's fun playing DBD as it's intended, it's fun just messing around too to help others :) Had a few people dance and moonwalk with me too, and thank me afterward for the good vibes for the event.

Damn you made a forum account just to make a nerf post about a singular match that happened yesterday about one of the more weaker killers in the game?
Let me explain your points and how you're thinking incorrectly about this killer and what you can do next time you face him. I'll try to keep them short and sweet as I tend to ramble on about Trickster.
1.
"the only way you can survive is if he miraculously runs out of knives"Trickster is easily counterable via cutting off line of sight, killer shack, any tall loops, or simply moving side to side to make him waste some of his knives.

"even then he can get them back in 3 seconds"It's definitely not as short as 3 seconds, but if he decides to reload during a chase he pretty much loses it unless you decide to stay around him. He can't make up distance easily.
3.
"His power main event is just insane you can counter it by getting in a locker but he can still just get you afterwards"His power slows him down a lot. Unless you're out in the open he's probably not gonna get a down with it. Refer back to 1 if you want to know what to hide behind during his main event.
Overall lesson of the story? Don't cry for nerfs on a weaker killer just because one did well. He's a killer that excels in open areas, but is completely stomped by areas that block line of sight. Utilize his weak spots against him. Don't run in a line in an open area and wonder why he's killing you fast. He definitely needs some buffs in his weak areas to make him a more rounded killer. Most people don't know how to loop him because he's one of the more rare killers played, and he definitely takes a while to learn to be proficient with him.

Yeah I'm hoping it'll be fixed asap. I've had mostly rubber banding in each match, maybe once or twice that doesn't affect my games too much. Now experiencing what all 3 together felt like, it was truly awful to play.

Happens a lot to me. I always clip when I've been abandoned and save it in my DBD clips stash. I name them "DBD but its Squid Game ep __". All in good humor of course.

If survivors get a 40% chance to pick themselves up just because they got slugged, us killers should have a 40% chance to have the entity block off the exit gates when they want to waste time teabagging at the killer.

I'll personally stay at the exit gate if there's a team mate outside that I'm not sure made it or not to another exit gate, but I'll be sure not to teabag.
However those who teabag pretty much do it to laugh in your face. Best to not even give them the satisfaction of watching them do it. I'll just go and break palettes/doors for extra points.

I always imagined that Trickster actually doesn't like being in the Entity's realm. Reason being that he's not able to have the thrill of killing the way he wants. He's forced to sacrifice them to the Entity and I think he'd be pretty rebellious towards it and do what he pleases.
He also can't produce music or perform anymore which is something he loves doing more than murder imo. Sure he could probably force the survivors to listen to his performance in the realm but it's just not the same as actual fans who treat him like a god.
Also he most definitely sings/hums his songs as he kills for the Entity.

I would say Jonah or Zarina are the rarest for me.

Don't really mind the existence of DS but I absolutely hate it when I get stabbed in the back when I didn't tunnel. I'll have some games where I simply hook another person in between their DS timer and I get punished for my fair efficiency.

I'm indifferent to camping tbh. Personally I refuse to camp or proxy camp unless survivors are swarming me at hook. It's a little annoying to be camped on hook as survivor, but I just shrug it off as it's not that big of a deal to me. There's no right way of playing this game and how I play is not how I expect someone else too as well.

I liked Tricksters default cosmetic so much that I originally rocked it even when I'm a one-trick for him. Then I planned on streaming gameplay of him and I needed a more recognizable combination if I became a known Trickster player. But honestly I still love his default outfit.

Idk about other killers but I do give hatch more often than actually taking the 4k. It's very easy to get me to like you and spare you at the end. Even if you just stared at me it makes me laugh and I'll be like, "Alright I like you, you get to live".

I only say killer sided because it's absolute heaven for Trickster now. After Hawkins leaving there's been a lack of good maps for him and now it's the only map I wanna play him in.

I'm honestly very surprised but disappointed at how many people take "GG" as a way to rub it in, spread toxic positivity, or is used for BM.
GG or good game doesn't always mean good as in a "win" for whatever side said it. Good game means that it was a good effort, despite the loss โ good sportsmanship, when they had every opportunity to be toxic โ being a good team player, even if dying meant giving your team mate one more chance.
If a game spoils your mood and thought process so much to where you think a "GG" (coming most likely from a good sportsmanlike place) is used to BM or rub a loss in your face more โ maybe you should worry less about the other players and more on how you're actually projecting your own unsportsmanlike behavior onto others.

Definitely Trickster for me.
The sound of the knife hits, the sound of his electric bat, the satisfaction of hitting your knives consecutively, the sound of activating main event, the moans of exhilaration after he cancels it ๐ฅต definitely top tier for me and I love everything about it.

Played a little survivor yesterday and went up against a hillbilly who had a really early down. As the last 3 we looped and did gens really efficiently as we were down a person early on. As to my knowledge, none of us teabagged, clicked flashlights, nor stayed at the exit gate longer than needed be.
At end game they had an entire breakdown. Talking about how we were being toxic, bullying him, and entirely trashing on survivor mains. At first I found this a bit funny that they acted that way and said that I was actually a killer main and understood how they felt because I main a low tier killer in high MMR. They proceeded to call me a liar and then (TW) told me how close to the edge they were because of this game to k*lling themselves and ending it all because of how much of a struggle killer was.
I actually felt a bit bad. I knew what they were going through but I wondered how or what really pushed them to that point regarding this game, or if anyone else really feels that way.
Pretty much told them to take a break if it's getting to that point and to treat themselves to their favorite ice cream before the chat closed off. I didn't know how much they were joking or not, and didn't want to say anything to make matters worse.

Literally experiencing the same thing and on the verge of tears as I write this. Went to go check what time specifically the contest closed to be met with the same screen.
Have been drawing nonstop around work to create a skin concept for my baby Tricky and created an entire backstory and description for the outfit along with a new song of his that he would wear the outfit during the song performance.
I know it's just a fun contest, and it's probably not worth the tears โ but I was really excited to share it and possibly get it in the game. Art is my dream career so this felt like such a great opportunity to get it out there. To have my art put in a game? One of my favorites at that? That would be the dream.
I'm staring at the nearly done reference sheet wondering what I should do now.
I'm really hoping it can be extended or something.

As someone who is known for very openly and proudly thirsting for Trickster I'll give my honest answer on this.
Am I truly sexually attracted to him? No. This may be because I'm demisexual irl, meaning I don't feel sexual attraction to people unless I have a deep emotional connection with them. Thus it's impossible for me to have this with a fictional character. (However I got to personally interact and/or flirt with the closest thing to a real life "Trickster" and began to develop those intimate feelings but that's another story outside of this huge wall of text anyhow and I'm talking more about the fictional character itself atm.)
Do I find him attractive? Hell yes. His personal style and demeanor to me is something that is attractive to me. I personally have a type for edgy, flamboyant, somewhat cocky and confident people. Trickster definitely falls in this category.
Am I lonely and weird? Yeah. I've been single for about 4 years now, and I truly don't have many friends or get out a lot irl. This probably contributes to my adoration for a fictional character like Trickster. When I was in a lower mental state shortly after Trickster was released sometimes I went to bed envisioning myself talking to him, venting, and overall getting comfort from him. It's probably not the healthiest way to overcome negative mental states, but it definitely helped me feel not so lonely.
TL/DR: I'm not sexually attracted to Trickster, but I find him attractive. He's personally my comfort character and helped me through hard times when I was lonely. Most sexual things I say about Trickster are meant as jokes and/or are exaggerated feelings. But I do have a special place in my heart and love for him.

On a real note, most people haven't learned how to play against a Trickster because he's not played very often. So when they start failing against him they normally DC because they don't want to put up with it (especially when the Trickster knows what he's doing).
It makes me laugh when someone DCs against me as Trickster and I'm performing well. With those kinds of people they take me playing Trickster SUPER personally for some reason. Most of the time I'll end up getting a toxic end game chat from them that moreso goes after me as a person, with gross sexism or homophobia. They get even more mad when you troll them harder in return. I feed off people's hate for Trickster.

My opinion is a little biased because I only play Trickster and this gives me an advantage in regards to certain pallets. But typically this is what I do:
- Infinite loop pallets with low walls: don't break until I use my power and chase ends
- Infinite loop pallets with high walls: immediate break
- Small loop pallets with high walls: attempt to mind game, break if it doesn't work
- Small loop pallets with low walls: ignore completely or break whenever I have spare time and come across the pallet again

I agree it's pretty bad but in a different way than most games. I don't get toxicity often, but when I do it's pretty nasty homophobia, sexism, and degrading language. Sometimes it's so ridiculous that it becomes a lot easier to troll them and get a laugh out of it.
DBD people are a lot less likely to get under my skin for real versus other games like LoL or Overwatch. But still bad nonetheless. I would def suggest trolling any toxicity that comes your way to lighten the situation for yourself.

Usually if I mimic a sound when I'm playing I find it weird or funny in some sort of way.
Usually this is Steve's hook scream, Laurie's hit sound, Trapper getting stunned, Huntress's Baba Yaga hatchet throw sound, any Artist noises, and probably more.

Survivor is definitely casual all the way. I don't really care about winning or losing, and more about having fun.
Killer is a little different. Of course I still have a blast, but I do strive for performing the best that I can. However I don't let this get in the way of memeing around. If a survivor starts being funny I'll always return the energy and joke around with them. Or if there's quitters/dcs I'll let survivors go pretty often. But if I'm taking a match seriously, I'm pretty competitive in that sense โ but I'll keep fun in mind for everyone by not camping/tunneling and trying to spread out the hooks to everyone.

My killer main is obviously Trickster. Aesthetic wise what drew me to him was that I'm a sucker for an edgy boy with chains. As an EDM fan the whole chapters theme was right up my alley. Kit wise I play FPS games so he wasn't that hard to pick up and learn at all for me personally. I was also determined to "be the first one to master him" when he first came out. In games I typically go for speed characters, but I guess he's more so a long ranged speed killer.
My survivor main is Feng. When I was deciding which survivor was going to be my main, it pretty much boiled down to looks. I was stuck between Nea, Kate, and Feng. Nea had cosmetics that fit me the most irl, but at the time before her visual rework I didn't find her all that attractive. Kate was really pretty and I loved her tattoos, but I didn't care for too many cosmetics of hers. Feng was a nice balance between both, because I really loved the bunny hoodie at the time and she fits my aesthetic as well.

I would've said a cyberpunk-esque theme, but Trickster pretty much gave that to me. But I would love more psychological horror themed characters. Maybe those with body horror, uncanniness, etc.

Fizz spin soda is my absolute favorite add on for Trickster. Even more so when it's paired with Bloody Boa or Melodious Murder (all of which are green add ons). I try to use these every typical match.

There's no actual placement of the killers within the tiers, I just placed them in the tiers as I went without thinking of how high or low they are within that tier.
