If you showed at an asylum I think you'd get admitted on the spot.
Probably 😃

My perks would only activate when I was in a match with Trickster. I'll share the names of the perks.
- On My Knees
- On His Shoulders
- Hunger
That's all I'm sharing 😃
-
My build for killer is currently BBQ, Ruin, Undying, and Discordance. However I would caution using this at the moment as there's a huge bug regarding the undying + ruin combination (that for some reason keeps being overlooked and not acknowledged...) that prevents it from working as effectively. I still use it despite the risk because it's the one I use for my main that is the most efficient.
-
My current build right now is Sprint Burst, Alert, CoH, and Spine Chill. It's a nice all around build to help with chases, information, and bonuses for teammates.
-
Tiffany as a legendary skin for Chucky. That's all I ask for.
-
I don't really have enough experience with most killers to say for sure if they need adjustments. So I'll go with the one I do know which is Trickster.
I'd like them to look at his chase dynamic a little bit. He's such a black and white killer right now in chases. Either he's going to completely dominate in open areas/low loops or he gets stomped on in jungle gyms and whatnot.
I think making him a 115% killer would definitely alleviate his struggle in high MMR and with certain loops. My only concern with that is how he would be in the areas he already dominates. I worry he might be a little too much in that regard — but I'd definitely like to see the movement speed adjustment and how it affects his performance in high MMR.
-
It's a little annoying when it happens, in solo queue, but I won't bully/disrespect a killer in end game chat for doing it.
It's actually a little bit fun however if I'm playing with my SWF. We probably sound like we're playing CoD with how we plan out to save the person on the hook. Then we're screaming and laughing trying to get away with it, so we don't take it too seriously.
Sometimes I'll teabag or flashlight click a little in those situations but it's never to make the killer feel bad for face camping — and I'll never do it excessively. Just a little to have some competition fun.

But Trickster is gay he was literally on a date with me last night and he told me himself.
What did he mean when he said his vows to me then?? He has some explaining to do 😤
-
yes.
-
Trickster, Trickster, and some more Trickster.
Been playing him for over a year straight now. Always a blast.
-
For me it's both streamers and people with a lot of hours. Anything usually over 1.5k+ scare me a bit. Sometimes I'll dodge the lobby if I'm maybe tired, or just looking to have a more casual time without sweating too hard. Streamers give me major performance anxiety if they're live. I feel like I need to play perfectly as to not embarrass myself in front of an audience especially when I'm a self proclaimed Trickster master. Unfortunately this usually has the opposite effect as my performance anxiety gets the better of me and I overthink everything 😭

Why would DBD mobile, which doesn't even have the Ringu chapter and is considered a separate game, start tweeting hints for the main game 3 days after Ringu (a licensed chapter) release when they've never done teasers for the main game before?
I think if we were to get a FNAF chapter then they should do things like that. Knowing how deep the lore is in FNAF games, they should know fans are accustomed to looking in unusual places to figure out pieces of the puzzle.
I wouldn't even be surprised if they did something where you had to adjust the brightness of certain images to figure it out — especially since that was the big thing to do on the scottgames website to find out teasers on the next game.
-
I would say definitely the memories. Certain matches stick in my head, certain people I've met that have been a part of my life.
Me and an ex of mine who I met via the DBD community used to take turns each day being Trickster on RPD in a custom match and would carry each other around the map aimlessly. As we did, we talked about anything and everything. Our past experiences, what made us who we are, our morals and ideals on situations. We talked about some pretty heavy stuff but it always felt really close and easy. We particularly liked to hang around the library area.
Now even though I hate the RPD map, whenever I run into the library I'm always hit with residual fondness of those memories.
I've had other areas that strike me with the same fondness for certain people I've met and certain memories. It makes the DBD experience really personal for me.
-
My name was primarily a joke that I didn't know if I would keep, but I love it.
Fell in love with Tricksters design, abilities, lore, everything. He was also released at a time where I was going towards a low in my life. He was kind of a character that gave me comfort through the memories of playing him/against him and meeting fellow Trickster lovers.
I also was able to have an unforgettable experience with getting to know the closest thing I could to a "real life Trickster" but without real murderous tendencies. But that's a whole separate story 💀
-
Usually if it feels like I'm going up against 8 survivors I start getting a little suspicious.
I'm pretty good with keeping track of survivor positions. I recently had a match where I was chasing someone on one side of the map, was aware and saw two survivors on a gen on my side of the map so only one survivor was unaccounted for, and then on the opposite side 2 gens popped. Keep in mind this all happened in under 10 seconds. To me, it was a little fishy.
Other things that raise my suspicions is feeling like you can never catch up. I also had a match recently that with one survivor in specific they seemed to be moving the same speed as me because even in open areas I simply couldn't catch up. So I feel like there was a high chance that there was some subtle hacking.
It's unfortunate however, that you can't really tell nowadays what's subtle hacking or what is truly being outplayed. I just try to go off my gut feeling if something feels unusual. But I don't report or accuse unless I see for sure something that's blatant hacking.

My music playlist is so all over the place that I hardly have songs from the same album from the same artists — but looking through these 2 were the only ones I could find that I have 2+ songs saved from.
Sempiternal by BMTH and One-X by 3 Days Grace. Funny that these two I have 2+ songs on my playlist when rock isn't even my most favorite genre of music 😂

Did they do it on purpose? 😆
I think they did it because they thought they were cool, edgy and "all grown up" but we definitely should not have been watching that at our age 😭
-
I was probably in early middle school when I was skyping with some internet friends. One of them screen shared.. putting this lightly.. ahem.. a certain video containing females and a device used to put liquid in.
Having emetophobia on top of it made me want to curl up and cease existence.
-
Hmm strangely enough I think Pinhead and Trickster could have a lot in common to talk about with one another. I haven't seen much of Hellraiser to know for sure, but they both thoroughly enjoy inflicting pain and see beauty in pain and torture, yeah?
-
Not sure if I did this right...? 🤔 Hm
-
I'm glad to see someone likes the name 😎
-
Was ready to type a paragraph to defend my husband but I think everyone else explained it quite well as to why I think realistically he's one of the scariest killers despite his flashy design.
-
It's Trickster's worst map because nearly every single loop is long and tall enough to completely counter his power and doesn't leave an opening for m1 mindgames. If Red Forest got reworked I would jump for joy as I completely despise anytime I spawn in it.
-
I dislike the term of nerf being used in this case. It's more so called an adjustment.
By all means, I think he definitely doesn't need a nerf, but I'm open to talking about adjustments with him. I think so far this is one of the best adjustment suggestions for him without taking away what he is as a killer.
However, while it's true he can miss a lot and still get a down, it's a lot more complex than that. What's the environment around the chase? How many knives did he start the chase with? Will the laceration decay come into effect if the survivor dodges for long enough? There's a lot of factors that change the scenario in either side's favor.
If a Trickster takes all 44 knives to get a down, he's probably going to lose a gen or two along with it and become completely behind in the game. So yeah, he'll get a down eventually, but it's still detrimental to the game for him.
But yeah, rambling aside, I wouldn't mind less knives with more movement speed.

I have my husband's menu theme as my phone alarm sound 🥰

uhhh don't really have any good news but I liked the outfit I wore today and it made me feel confident so I guess I'll share that here 💅🏻

Was about to choose that a 4k should grant it — but thinking that adept achievements are sort of like an award for playing someone really well, I think it's fine. While 4king really fast is pretty impressive but will most likely grant you a ruthless, I think having complete control over the speed of the match is even more impressive. Being able to purposely drag it out and get more points without losing the game and having the control to end it as soon as you'd like.
However I think that survivor adept should definitely be harder in this case. Should be similar in difficulty to killer adept and not just based off escaping.

Glad to see one of these tier lists that don't put my husband at the very bottom tier for once 🥺

So, this is most likely what's happening:
Ruin only detects on generator release
Survivor releases Gen, Ruin procs
Ruin is down, generator regression is stopped
Undying kicks in, ruin is reinstated
Gen fails to start regressing because it only checks for survivors releasing, not for progress
Killer is also now unable to kick affected gens due to that checking for Ruins status, not regression(?)
Generator is now effectively frozen until touched or ruin is down
This could potentially be abused to forcefully freeze a Gen at 99% by survivors, though it would be difficult
Yep. Happens multiple times where I approach a nearly done gen after this happens and I'm unable to kick it and let it start regressing. So I'm forced to leave it there which allows survivors to continue it once I've left from the area. Really bad for gen control.
EDIT: Just checked the bug fix patch and this still isn't listed as fixed

so what you're saying is we can add Mort from Madagascar to DBD because he canonically ate/absorbed his family
Animals eating each other isn't considered horror when it's reflected onto us because we as humans are psychologically selfish and if we aren't the ones being hurt then it's probably not scary to us.
Just as cats are known to eat weaker newborns but we keep them around in our house and think they're the cutest thing. But sharks are scary to people and we do everything to avoid them because we're afraid of them doing so to us.

Yes. Doesn't make the game any darker.
It's like they'd make a Tom&Jerry chapter, with Tom being the killer, because en réalité, he was a serial killer that murdered 24 kids with a knife because he knows how to wield one. That won't make the character less kid audiece targeted.
If Tom was a rotten, 7-8ish foot tall corpse looming over me with a knife who had a history of being able to kill multiple people and full on intent to do the same to me I'd be very afraid tbh.

then maybe they should stop marketing it to kids
Who cares if it's marketed to kids.
It's imagery maintains a 12+ rating so it can have a wider audience. They avoid the true gore and scary imagery to keep this rating. The actual gruesome lore is hidden for the most part behind tiny clues and hints that was meant for adults to pick up on. Kind of like how cartoons will hide adult jokes in it so that way adults can enjoy the show too.

Nah, it's just Freddy Krueger lore, but instead of a burnt man with a knife glove killing you in your nightmares, we have a giant... Dog? Bunny? Whatever that is.
I may have a hard time keeping up with the FNAF lore but I've never heard of any of the animatronics killing in dreams?? The closest things to that were in FNAF 3 with hallucinations jumpscaring when oxygen supply got too low, but it never killed the player.
Most of the killings were real things that happened in the lore, as reported in numerous news outlets, papers, and customer complaints of rotting flesh smells and stains from the animatronics.
-
I'm gonna keep posting this in every FNAF thread I stumble upon that have people who say it's not scary enough to be in DBD.

It is unironically made for kids tho
FNAF isn't happening for a few reasons.
I think even though it's made for kids it would translate well into the M rated DBD environment where it can thrive and lean more on it's adult/gruesome elements. Being made for kids doesn't diminish or devalue something imo.

Kind of a big problem that can cost killers a game. Why hasn't bhvr addressed this jeez.
I keep checking every patch to see if it gets fixed or if my bug report will get noticed. It literally saves generator progress, and it's really a big issue if you think about it. Not sure why they haven't patched it yet, as it still happens to me frequently.

I remember my first time facing a hacker. Was Demogorgon on Haddonfield and their name was something like "Gen Rusher" and all the gens popped within 10 seconds. Saw them running back and forth with speed hacks as well. Me and the 3 other survivors just hung out in the street watching, then farmed a little to try and save each other from depiping. Then the hacker told me to git good. I just laughed it off and reported.
-
Freddy! You're supposed to be on lockdown.
-
I have Trickster's laugh as my phone notification sound.
-
To be honest I've received way more hate when I was newer at the game than I do now. Sometimes I still get some toxicity but I had constant serious homophobia/sexism/threats back then.
-
I still love the game to death despite the flaws of the game :)
