I'm closing it here as this thread has gone off the rails.

I love how BHVR takes so much time to remind of some stupid rules they made up on the forums, instead of taking the time answering my questions.
I'm afraid I am not a BHVR employee and part of my job is explaining the rules to the users.
-
I have to say Descend Beyond, when Blight was released it was the most fun Killer to play in a long while, at least for my personal taste.

In what world is that an unnecessary tag?
It's expressed in the rules to avoid tagging the Developers:
This is also not a Q&A for the Developers, it's a discussion platform for the community; you are free to post this question in the Q&A section when this will be opened for the future Q&As.
-
I'll contact you.
-
Please avoid unnecessarily tagging Developers, thank you.

If you want to report someone, keep in mind in-game reports are mandatory as they flag the match, then you can go to the Support website (https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/categories/6713776396180-Dead-by-Daylight) and use the chat function at the bottom of the page to open a ticket.
Also to attach the video proof, you can upload the clip as unlisted on Youtube and add the link to the ticket.

if i was to do it with self care, would it still pop? or do i need to wait for a bugfix or something
Only the description needs fixing, the challenge works correctly.
-
The required perk is Self Care, Peanits already confirmed the description is getting fixed as soon as possible:

This is the correct answer. But also Self Care.
The team's going to get this fixed up as soon as we can.

That is true. Also... Rizzo do you like the Hunk skin? :3
It's not really my style, but I do like it.
In general I prefer the original skins Legion has, so I wouldn't use that one.

Let's try to keep the discussion on topic, thank you.

Thank you as always, @CashelP14 !

Well console players cant even grab player IDs and we dont even get streamer mode either...
I can run into multiple cheaters and not do a thing about it
As explained above, the ticket doesn't require player's IDs anymore, you just need to flag the game and report on the Support website.

Andddd how exactly do I report someone whose name is Dwight Fairfield 02 who play on EGS and who I can only block??? Do you guys even play the game?
As said, the name, id or profile are not required, just flag them in game as usual, clicking on the thumbs down button in the tally screen and open a ticket on the Support website (https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/categories/6713776396180-Dead-by-Daylight).
-
The procedure to report someone with streamer mode is the same as someone without it.
The only thing that changed is that now the ticket you open doesn't require you to add SteamID64 or profile link, as the in-game report flags the match and Support can get the player's information from that.
-
That's someone using Anonymous mode, not a bot.

Does anyone know how much it was increased?
Like, it was 40cm on PTB, then 20cm in 6.2.
Was it increased to 25, 30, 35 ?
Peanits confirmed they have been changed to 30 cm:
@Peanits said:
It's now 30cm- right in the middle of the PTB (40cm) and release (20cm). His detection for obstacles will remain at 20cm, so this won't cause him to bump into things more than before.

ARP? I can't think of that acrynom atm
Azarov's Resting Place I guess.
-
The procedure to report players is the same with Anonymous mode, as they changed the report form and it doesn't require the SteamID64 or the profile link anymore.
So once you flag the game with the in-game report, the Support team can connect the information they receive in the ticket and find the offender.
-
Thank you!
-
Just to be clear here, moderators do not have this kind of information.
That said, Mandy already mentioned that the hitboxes are getting tweaked and I'd assume it might be coming with one of the hotfixes:
-
Hello, when you want to report a bug, please check the bug report section (https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs) to see if it has been reported already and upvote it, otherwise open a new report following the guidelines.
And please avoid tagging Mandy or other dev unless it's necessary, they collect bug reports and feedback from the correct sections pretty often and this bug has been reported already multiple times, so I'm sure they are aware of it.

Closed as requested.

We do not discuss this kind of situations here, you have to sort it out with Support.

But what about those reports that were acknowledged shortly before the new chapter but weren't fixed when the update was released?
Not every bug requires the same time to be fixed, that's why every release has usually a couple of bugfix patches.

Thanks for responding. The reason I’m worried is that the devs have said it themselves that in game reports do nothing unless you submit a ticket.
If im dealing with a hacker, or worse a subtle hacker then how will I be able to submit video captures then? And if I can’t create a ticket then how will I know if the report was received? Could you clarify please?
The in-game reports are mandatory for any kind of offense, they are not enough for things like hacking or griefing as you need to open a ticket and give video proof, but for things like verbal abuse, it's only necessary to report in game.
That said, when you want to report someone you need to report in game then go to the Support website (https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/categories/6713776396180-Dead-by-Daylight), use the chat function you find at the bottom of the page and follow the instructions given to open your ticket.
Just to clarify this last point: you won't receive a confirmation if action has been taken or not on the profile you reported, but I can assure you the reports are taken very seriously by the Support team.
-
You can still report them with the same procedure.
As long as you reported in game flagging the match, Support can access the information needed to take action on the user, so when you open the ticket you don't have to give the SteamID64 and profile link.
-
If you are referring to the Matchmaking Incentives, they are gonna stay.
Keep in mind they are applied on a role or the other depending on the need and the bonus can vary between 25% and 100%.
-
If you think you encountered a bug, please report it to the correct section, giving all the information you can: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs
-
It depends how complex the bugs are to fix, but usually there are bugfix patches the couple of weeks right after release.
-
The Store Banners are mentioned in the patch notes under Known Issues:
-
The incentives are adaptive, meaning they change depending on the role and amount of players needed, so it could be just 25% or 100% depending on the needs.

Oh and before I call it here, Legendary cosmetics are supposed to have their own voices, right? If so then why is HUNK just... Expo Cosplayer voice but slightly less metallic?
I'm not sure, could be another bug or intended like that.
If you want you can add it to your report, in case it's an actual issue.

Fair. It's just the fact that a cosmetic could be bugged like that really grinds my gears. Sorry for my frustration.
No need to apologize, I understand the frustration and it's perfectly fine to rant from time to time, at least as long as it's done in a respectful way.
-
The section gets checked very regularly and the reports are logged and sent to the team.
If you think your bug hasn't been acknowledged yet could be that it has been reported already and acknowledged or they just haven't been able to check it yet.
The patch has been out for less than a day and there's a lot of work behind the curtains regarding collecting feedback and bug reports, and as much as I can understand the frustration to see your own report not acknowledged yet, you should try to understand that it's something that requires time.
And one more thing: keep in mind timezones are a thing, you reported the bug around 9 hours ago, that means it was around midnight in Canada.

I don't think they'll ever institute a "buy all" button (though it would be nice), but a good compromise might be if you pick a node you want at the edge of the web, it will automatically but all the nodes in between, along the clearest path. So at least let you buy chunks at a time and still leave some of the current you vs. the entity chess game.
I'd like something along those lines as well, it would make the process so much smoother and quicker.

Nobody is looking feedback posts. Everyone are discussing in general.
So moving posts to dead zone kinda hiding them.
See my reply above.
And again, the section is not hidden, plus a lot of users follow the flow of the forums through Recent Discussions.
Feedback and Suggestions is mostly for collecting feedback regarding changes, like this thread.

Lets be honest here, most people only look at general discussions not the feedback session.
Feedback is directed to the team, other forum users and players can't make changes to the game.
I understand the complaints, it's important to remember that we need to keep things in order to make collecting feedback easier for those who need to do it.

@Seanzu said:
WHY WAS THIS MOVED INTO FEEDBACK THERE IS NO FEEDBACK GIVEN IT IS A COMPLAINT STOP HIDING COMPLAINT THREADS IN FEEDBACK.
It's literally feedback regarding a change.
I will never understand this idea that things moved to feedback are somehow hidden, the section is open to everyone.

Based on what they said in the Developer Update, I'd assume they took care of that:
We'll see in a few hours anyway.
