(Rant) What's the point of the bug report section of the forum...

if no one pays attention to current stuff that's sent to it? There's a legit issue with HUNK's animations with the fact it's the exact same animation. No change in speed or whatever. Only indicator is the breathing and that the knife is flipped. I get that there are priorities but this is part of the chapter you JUST released. Can it at least be acknowledged so people who know about it and haven't bought it yet can have a reason to buy it when it's fixed? I'm starting to feel like the only one that cares about this.

  • The section gets checked very regularly and the reports are logged and sent to the team.

If you think your bug hasn't been acknowledged yet could be that it has been reported already and acknowledged or they just haven't been able to check it yet.

The patch has been out for less than a day and there's a lot of work behind the curtains regarding collecting feedback and bug reports, and as much as I can understand the frustration to see your own report not acknowledged yet, you should try to understand that it's something that requires time.

And one more thing: keep in mind timezones are a thing, you reported the bug around 9 hours ago, that means it was around midnight in Canada.

Fair. It's just the fact that a cosmetic could be bugged like that really grinds my gears. Sorry for my frustration.

No need to apologize, I understand the frustration and it's perfectly fine to rant from time to time, at least as long as it's done in a respectful way.

  • Oh and before I call it here, Legendary cosmetics are supposed to have their own voices, right? If so then why is HUNK just... Expo Cosplayer voice but slightly less metallic?

I'm not sure, could be another bug or intended like that.

If you want you can add it to your report, in case it's an actual issue.

  • I'm sorry to pop-up like that but, what bug are you talking about? Is Hunk supposed to have unique in-game animations?

There's no Frenzy animation for him.

  • also, bear in mind

the only people that can really make good use of the bug report section is the devs. other forum users can't really do anything except upvote a post. we're not the ones responsible for noting and fixing these things, so by and large, it's going to feel like you're just shouting into the abyss. just gotta trust that there's people listening, because they definitely are.

  • BHVR is pretty selective when it comes to bugs, there's a game breaking Legion bug that's been in the game over 2 years and reported multiple times but they show no interest in it.

just had a game where I was blinded as legion just before vaulting in a pallet in frenzy. I got stuck in the pallet but was able to break it and get out. After that I was running at normal killer speed but was stuck in the frenzy animation and was unable to reactivate the actual power.

I was in a legion game racing for hatch but before coming out of frenzy due to the timer running out, I had a massive lag spike causing me to be frozen for several seconds. After the lag(?) icon disappeared and I was stuck in frenzy and unable to attack or vault windows, I also happened to be going against someone streaming on twitch and they were spectating and saw a pov of the glitch on the survivor side, I was also communicating with the streamer about the glitch and started recording on obs, here is a link to a youtube video where that recording is, also the streamers twitch link is in the description.

Step 1 : Boot the game on Nintendo Switch

Step 2 : Play as Legion in a public match

Step 3 : In-game, get flashlight stunned while using feral frenzy in end-game at the gates

    • Legion animation stuck in feral frenzy from my POV, but attacks only inflict basic attack damage. Feral frenzy bar is full and when trying to click LR to use feral frenzy again nothing happens. Stuck only doing basic attack

    Character played: Legion

Perks: Devour Hope, Thanatophobia, Discordance, BBQ and Chili

Map: Crotus Prenn, during end game inside the exit gate

Frequency: Happened only once as I could not get out of the bug until the match ended

    Platform: PS4

Description: Legion get stuck in Feral Frenzy, but actually they are not in Feral Frenzy (normal speed), but actually they are in Feral Frenzy (if I hit a survivor, they go in the mending state), but actually they are not in Feral Frenzy (if I hit them again, they seem to go down, but they... don't go down), but actually you can't break pallets or vault windows, but actually I don't even get my Devout Emblem Points!!!!

    Steps to reproduce:

    • have a pallet dropped in front of you
    • (optional: get stunned by the pallet as well?)
    • have a survivor trying to blind you on the opposite you
    • activate Feral Frenzy and try to vault the pallet
    • get blinded while starting to vault the pallet
    • you now can't activate Feral Frenzy anymore, but the game thinks you are somehow.

How often: I don't know, first time the whole scenario happens to me, but I guess always

    Etc, etc.

  • At the risk of sounding trollish I kinda feel like this thread should have started with something like… “excuse me I’d like to return this sweater”

    Let it snowball from there.

But what about those reports that were acknowledged shortly before the new chapter but weren't fixed when the update was released?

Not every bug requires the same time to be fixed, that's why every release has usually a couple of bugfix patches.

But the fact that it has been recognized guarantees that it will be fixed eventually?
