I thought that was pretty standard. Stranger things was the same for 1 killer + 2 survivors.
I dunno, doubling the price for one more survivor? Kind of much.
The price has always been this for chapters that come with 3 characters.
It's not much more than chapters with only 2 characters.
It's about $3.50 per character for chapters with 2 characters and $4 per character for chapters with 3 characters. It does cost more per unit, but not by much to cause complaint.
6.99 are the usual price packages, 4.99 for single character releases totaling for 12 ish USD for a 3 character bundle.
Even though I find the price consistent, 11.99 is a lot more of an upfront cost if you're not sure you're going to like all of it.
This is standard.
4,99 for single character DLCs
6,99 for single survivor & killer DLCs
11,99 for 2 survivors & killer DLCs.
Same as it is for the old Resident Evil chapter
Standard price. Get gud.
If there is only one character you want from the chapter I'd recommend just spending $5 on auric cells
but checking now it's the same|
please read before posting
The issue is that two survivors are bundled in there, that is why I never buy chapters. I just get the killer for five hunny. I love Ada and Rebecca, but not that much, lol. I might have bought it if it was standard chapter price? I do not know. It is fine, I will just stick to Yun Jin.
I wouldn't question random people on the internet's financial situations. They could be in a situation where money is super tight and spending $12 on a DLC that they aren't even super into is too much for them. They also could just be someone who has money but feels like the DLC isn't worth it. The point is you don't know their situation and shouldn't be telling them to get a job. Some people work many jobs and still barely have enough money to pay for their needs.
I can definitely empathize with not having the money to spend, but my question is - what would you expect it be?
They have to pay for the licensing, so $12 for 3 characters from a big franchise is not unreasonable at all.
Around 9$? That would make far more sense. The added cost is for an extra survivor, not killer.
Why would you pay less per character in this than a standard chapter? It's licensed, with 9 perks, and a new killer power mechanic.
And frankly, if $12 is too much for someone (and I'm not judging, there's no shame in that), how is it smart to spend $9 on a video game DLC either?
You pay more per character for the one-character chapters like Hour of The Witch or Hellraiser,so like, making sense with pricing isn't exactly the case here.
Let's keep the discussion civil, thank you.
There is no need to shame others for their financial situation.
I think it's pretty fair price, but I understand for someone it can bit too much.
Cheap enough.
Are you like a millionaire or something
it's always been 12 dollars for 2 survivors and 1 killer. Twas like that with the Stranger Things chapter, as well as the last RE chapter. I'd honestly just buy the characters you want. I know I didn't care about Jill, but I liked nemesis and leon, so I bought them separately, and I spent 10 dollars instead of 12. I know I sound like a cheapskate, but it adds up in the end. I don't really care about the umbrella charm anyways.
Add 20 euros for the base game.
Subtract 60 for the "survivor/killer packs"
You are insane if you think that’s cheap.
That doesn't negate my point that the price is reasonable and that they pay for it in some form to get it.
10$ maybe, but 12$ is pushing it hard. It's bordering on being priced like two chapters, which it is not. It's just a survivor with perks.
how minted are you this is on sale
I mean that’s not much.
total waste of money but not much
But what does any of that have to do with the way Behaviour themselves price their chapters? Nobody was talking about the interests of Capcom.
Behaviour charges $12 for a chapter with 3 characters, and presently, those have only been licensed chapters. Whether they pay up front or not, Behaviour is still effectively paying for the right to use these characters. If it were an original chapter with 3 characters, Behaviour would make all $12 of that as profit, vs. giving that money to Capcom/Netflix/etc.
You can argue semantics about paying upfront vs. just losing money in the long run, but my point was they pay for it, one way or another.
When did I say “just peanuts”
bro i want a job that somehow pays enough for me to just be able to waste 130$ like that holy
in what world is that not much? That's like half the average MONTHLY salary where I live.
Me who just bought the Hunk skin...
Total comes out to £95.98
Admittedly there is a sale on at the moment.
If you get the Killer and Survivor Expansion packs you dont need to buy 11 DLCs.
Look, i get it. I used to have to think about making even $1 purchases for things for a long time while making barely more than minimum wage and having bills to pay. So i am very sympathetic to people in that situation. I'm lucky to not be in that situation anymore and now i don't actually have to think about small purchases anymore.
But if your financial situation is such that you can't just spare the $12 to purchase the DLC and have to really stretch to do it. I'd argue you probably should be prioritizing other things in your life than a video game. Generally even being in a rough state with your money you should be able to at least scrape together $12 somehow, and if you can't (which, believe me, i know, i was there once) then you should be doing something else.
I would by it twice that price if I could. Circumstances are different for everyone.
What is that supposed to mean? You're rich?
where do you live?
avg monthly salary on the US is 6,228 a month y’all getting scammed
I mean I happen to live in a country, "government" of which decides to cosplay Germany 1930-th.
Ohhh I see your point; sorry.
Not in the US.
You didn't answer my question
I did. It's not about money now, it's about availability.
I dunno,it's about money for me.
"Remind me, how much does the Game + All DLCs cost again?"
The question was all DLC, hence why I went for all of them. But even if we go with the £95.98 figure and convert it to Kizu's local currency:
6,810.14 Rubles. That's not something someone can easily throw at a game.
Sorry, ignore my answer (cannot delete it)
Lucky you
I don't suppose with it being licensed we can buy the characters with shards?
I don't mind, ill buy either way, but this is still a bit absurd. Why does having an additional character mean they all have to be more expensive?
no
Welp
Honestly, I was afraid they were going to use the inflation excuse to increase the price. So I am VERY happy with $12. I was expecting $20.
dont give them ideas
