I wish they gave us 6 votes and let us pick our favorite skins instead of sticking them in groups.
That is a way better system than this set thing

What even was that cosmetic?
Hey, dude, I weirdly thought it was cool and still wear it occasionally ๐ (I am coping for the money I had spent)
-
I swear they knew what they were doing when the made the sets

It was really unfair to put Adam and Yun against the popular survivors
Fr, they never stood a chance :(

Please don't make me choose between the mommies

I main Trickster and Yun-Jin mostly on the killer and survivor side respectively. I love both of Trickster's cosmetics in Set A & B so I cannot really choose between them. However, since Yun-Jin is only in Set B, I'd have to go with that. I also like Set B because it contains characters that do not normally receive cosmetics. Set A definitely has great cosmetics (absolutely love that Dredge one), but I'd prefer to see more variety in the characters that Set B offers with its cosmetics.
-
It should already be out. At least it is for me
-
Lethal Pursuer has made my tracking build was more fun
-
Interesting. I like both of Trickster's cosmetics. I prefer the one in Set B. Plus Yun Jin is in set B so voted for that. Not sure if it will win though based on the votes.

A single gen taking 164 seconds is not balanced sorry.
In what situation does it take 164 seconds for a gen to complete? This is a genuine question btw because I stopped running slowdown builds altogether.
-
I've ran this with Trickster while also using Iron Maiden and Floods of Rage or I'm All Ears. Tracking builds are so fun!
-
Starting back to level 1 in bloodweb after a forced prestige is pretty weird. At least it should bring us back to level 30 so that add-ons with higher rarity can be seen and bought just a bit more often or make the beginning levels have more nodes in the bloodweb. More nodes means greater chance for seeing more variety in add-ons and gathering the ones you want.
-
For Spirit, I tend to use Stridor, Devour Hope, Deadlock/Undying, and Haunted Grounds. Spirit and exposed survivors go very well together. Funny enough, had good matches with the same build on Onryo but used STBFL instead of Stridor.

Is it good against Trickster? Isnt he just gonna spam you down?
If it procs in a dead zone, yeah Trickster could still spam down the survivor. If it procs at a loop, that is a lot harder for Trickster to recover from. However, it definitely requires a lot of skill to deny that last blade hit in practice because the speed and recoil of his blades are hard to keep track of especially with such a short window for it to activate. Additionally, the Trickster may miss his blade from the recoil in the middle of the survivor procing DH which would be a detriment to the survivor as they would be downed and Trickster would know they have DH now. It would probably only work once too if it activated against a perceptive Trickster as they would just bait it out in a future chase once they realize the survivor has DH.

Yeah, it's difficult to know whether the perk is working or not with the lack of information. Still a pretty decent gen regress perk tho.
-
I think it will take around 2 weeks to a month for all players to adapt and settle with new builds and playstyles. Everything changed today so we are in that experimentation phase. As you stated, the mmr will probably balance out around the time everyone is comfortable with the changes. BHVR normally likes to watch and see how things are playing out with data before making immediate changes as well.
-
I think the reason for not formally introducing these options in the settings (even though I agree they should for player customization and freedom) is because the game's optimization isn't great to begin with. My pc can handle 120 fps on more graphically better games, but DBD usually hits between 80-105 most of the time even if I manually set the cap to 120.
-
You can technically do it manually in the files

i forgot to write about that, but YES its way better to play M1 killers like Sadako and Wraith now, sadly the SWF teams i got today looks like to have adapted with SB, and when in chase they are using the pallets (before they would greed, DH then use the pallets) so you will be often all match breaking pallets, or going to a gen and having a SB in the face while demanifesting
For me, chase builds on m1 killers have been helping a lot and quite fun to use. Really pairs well with the recent killer buffs.
-
Currently I really like using this chase build with Freddy and Clown, but mainly Clown:
- STBFL
- Brutal Strength
- Bamboozle
- Fire Up
I also have a fun tracking build for Trickster and Huntress:
- Lethal Pursuer
- BBQ/Floods of Rage/I'm All Ears
- Darkness Revealed
- Iron Maiden
Weird anti-healing/exhaustion build on Legion (may work on Plague if you only focus on the exhaustion part by using Fearmonger):
- Blood Echo
- Septic Touch
- Coulrophobia
- A Nurse's Calling
For survivor, I just like using my usual healing build:
- Botany Knowledge
- Desperate Measures
- Solidarity
- Leader

Agreed, the prestige level should not be seen in lobby. The end game result section is fine for it to show, but the lobby gives reason to dodge lobbies. It could be said that the prestige level, at least currently due to this system being new, does not imply a specific skill level but regardless it can still be used to dodge lobbies and anything that lengthens queue times is not great.
-
Honestly at this point, I think Ghostie should get a different chase theme every patch update.
But fr, bring back the second version of the printer. Best one imo (or just let us choose music themes, that'd be nice).
-
I haven't been able to hear it much unless I was right on top of them or carrying them to a hook.

I hate 2 of them having like what I assume is going to be the new scourge hook look and the other 2 are just normal .
Oh wow, I hadn't actually noticed that and now it is bugging me too. I hope they change the Monstrous and Gift perk hook image to be like Floods and Pain.
-
Quite fun. I've been playing a lot of killers I don't usually play with less slow down perks overall. My favorites match this far was playing Freddy with Enduring, STBFL, Bamboozle, and Fire Up.
-
I haven't heard of Poptropica in a long time, dang
-
Same, I don't think it is out yet

Some killers synergize well with certain perks. It makes sense and adds variety instead of using one singular meta build on all characters.
-
Are these outfits and charms permanent? As in here to stay and purchase whenever?
-
I'm not sure if I have an exact condition for doing it. I normally just do it when I feel like it. Although I would say I am more likely to give hatch to the last survivor if I believe they performed best on their team and wanna thank them for a good match and chases.

It begins today

Finally happening

Nancy. Nancy's come in many forms and I am scared of her.

They have the tendency of changing the parts that were being complained about and changing things that weren't complained about on top of that with unnecessary nerfs. That being said, I still play Deathslinger, but you definitely feel his TR nerf.

That changed barely lasted, and was adjusted to 5 seconds on Patch 2.6.3, I remember it well.
But...
the 3 second stun time is coming back now.
I remember it as well. It was originally changed due to Enduring cutting the stun time off of all stuns. Even after they changed Enduring though, they kept the 5 second stun time the same because 3 seconds was not a lot of time even without Enduring. Now they change it back to 3 seconds because BHVR doesn't want to balance the meta perks, they want to completely kill off the current meta perks to make way for a new meta. Which way is better, I'm not sure. However, making some perks bad and others better does not really fix the issue that people had of some perks are far too weak and others way too strong.
-
@GeneralV said:
Nah, people will get used to it.
After all, the 3 second stun time...

...is not new.
I feel like times have changed since then though. The 3 second stun is not really enough, especially against mobility or ranged killers. The deactivation during end game is warranted, but the time should remain 5 seconds imo.
-
Deathslinger and Trickster sounds funny. One shoots and reels while the other throws knives at the survivor being reeled. Tag team style
-
Stellaris, Evil Dead, Warframe, and Star Wars Battlefront 2 would probably be what I play the most. Probably some Apex or Fortnite mixed in there. Still have AC Valhalla to play as well.
-
All my killers are ready. Some of my survivors are as well. I'm just happy to play characters I don't usually play with builds I didn't have access to before.

You do know you won't lose items from prestiging anymore right?
I think the player meant that if you prestige 1 every character before the update, they will automatically become prestige 3 after the update and thereafter every character receives the perks of the prestiged character automatically at tier 3.

I kinda made the mistake of stock piling all my flans (370 somethin) on Dredge and nobody else ๐
He's my new main with Cenobite in a close second.
Is this deja vu cuz I swear I read this somewhere before on another post a while ago.
Dredge is fun to play and I imagine its cosmetic customization in the future will be great
-
Pig benefits from survivors doing alternative objectives in general. Plaything, Pentimento, Devour Hope, and Deadlock with the add-ons that either add more traps or make the box searches take longer has been working wonders for me personally. It really works well with the recent box search change.
-
Thanatophobia has an interesting effect of leading survivors to believe it is slowing them down way more than it actually is. Same goes for Sloppy Butcher. The changes seem fine in PTB matches.
-
I like the idea of seeing glyphs become unique perk powers. I would also like to see how the white glyph item could be used in perk form to provide a unique item power.
-
Could be a headset thing. I tend to hear the sound and direction of the hatch before survivors that are near me do.
-
1 - Ghostface: If you play him patiently, he is surprisingly rewarding. However, I know most people probably wouldn't like playing patiently in a faster paced game like this, but for me it is very fun. He has the most meme potential too. Out of all the stealth killers, I like the way his stealth works because it rewards using cover to your advantage to stalk & expose instead of just sneaking up & stealth attacking survivors
2 - Sadako: She isn't necessarily the greatest at stealth, but you can still use the small lullaby and phasing to your advantage and sneak up on survivors. The phasing especially helps mindgame during a short loop chase which is great. She has my favorite animations and sound effects in the game as well.
3 - Pig: I wish she crouch walked a bit faster, but she is pretty good at getting that first initial hit. I like her customization with her add-ons too. You could go with a quicker rush to benefit from her stealth or loops or you can go with more traps or longer box time to stall the game. I enjoy playing a stealth multi-objective build on her using Plaything, Pentimento, Devour Hope, and Deadlock.
4 - Wraith: Hello, buddy. You were my initial main when I first got this game so you'll always be cool in my heart. Traversing the map quickly with this dude knowing you do not have to hide your presence is very fun. Also, bing bong.
5 - Myers: Sadly, I just get bored when I play Myers, but I really like the look of this dude.
-
I've been playing killer nonstop to prestige 1 anyone that doesn't have a lot of perks. Got a few more to go ๐ค
-
Killer: Artist. I really like playing as her in a sniper playstyle, but I also understand her ability to shut down loops very effectively creates a lot of "holding w to other loops" situations than actual looping. And for most survivors, the chase and looping is usually the most exciting part of the match.
Survivor: Nancy. I don't hate Nancy, I'm just afraid of her. I never know if she is going to be a baby survivor or the best looper I've ever seen.
-
1 level: 70-119 perk tiers
2 levels: 120-169 perk tiers
3 levels: 170-219 perk tiers
4 levels: 220-269 perk tiers
5 levels: 270-319 perk tiers
6 levels: 320 or more perk tiers, I believe
So you will get 5 free prestiges, I believe
