What windows are survivors getting fast vaults out of, instead of medium vaults?
Angles Pilot, angles. Should be impossible but it isn't. I'm not complaining, I do it myself.
-
I don't want to be one of those survivors but I suggest playing another killer. Ghost face isn't exactly OP. Unfortunately, if you actually want a chance to beat "Strong Survivors" , you'll have to play nurse, spirit or maybe Freddy. That's how the developers designed the game, every killer is a meme with high MMR, too many survivors would [BAD WORD] if killers got buffed so all you have is nurse or spirit.

Honestly I'd rather this be an exhaustion perk
Yes this idea is good, however. I think no cooldown will be good, you have to be healthy to use it and when you click the ability button, you'll smash through the Breakable Wall. You'll take 1 health state and your aura is revealed for 3/4/5 seconds.
-
That made me laugh. You want my honest option, every female survivor need jiggly physics. After all, the developers reworked movement. The game is rated 18+, a bit of jiggle is fine 🤣

After at least 6 games with the new matchmaking system, i played against high winrate killers such as Freddy, Spirit and nurse.
Some were red and green ranks.
I'm purple rank survivor and the matchmaking with other survivors are not bad. not a big difference, just the killers are repeating themselves.
They're always Spirit, nurse or freddy with the most annoying perks.
The game become annoying as well and way more harder.
I don't like this at all.
When you say Annoying perks, do you mean gen defence. That's killers meta for you, an entire build made up of perks to stop gens. If only the devs see the issue.

YOUR BETA TESTERS !
We are players that have bought the game and we deserve quality. PTB is the platform where you can test your new features but the normal game should never be considered as a test playground.
We have paid the game, the full game to play it and enjoy it. So we deserve a few things :
- that you listen to the community when we tell you something, but seeing the state of the game you don't listen much...
- that everything works fine when you release a patch or a new feature
- that you don't change our game experience with your tests
Hire Beta tester as developers were doing 20 years ago or use your PTB.
Unfortunately, you haven't had enough hours into dbd to understand. Let me explain something, while I do agree there game is in a bad state, if the developers listen to us, it'll be in a worse state. An asymmetric horror game is a 1v4 game, that mean there are four times more survivors that killer. It's not exactly four times more, maybe just two times. What I'm trying to say is there are more survivors than killers which would destroy the game.

Mr. X or Nemesis, don't really care too much for lady Dimitrescu right now, know nothing about her, Leon would make a good Survivor, that or and Claire, as another 2 survivor 1 killer chapter.
I hope so, I always love new perks, that's my favourite thing about a new chapter.

You want a training mode, rank 20 is a good idea.

As long as camping is effective, DS will be meta.
You know that is a good point. Someone said what about deliverance and DS, it'll now suck. Then hell it will, DS + Deliverance is part of the "Anti-killer" build, it'll always be strong.
-
Maybe nerf Save the Best for Last a little bit and change the cooldown of attacks from 3 seconds to 2.5 or 2 seconds.
Just an idea.

@Science_Guy said:
Okay, to be blunt, you must be really new if you think a perk that only helps you hide if the killer has already found someone else is A-Tier.
The perk also applies with a basic M1 and secondary. The perk is a mix of Iron will, lucky break and Poised. The perk could be good if in a good build. I do agree, A tier might be a bit much but this perk has potential. I have many hours btw, it sounds like a really good perk if used in good hands. There is just 2 downsides.
- You'll body block the player.
- It's only 12 meters.
-
I'm trying to create a "perk" which counters killers who camp. This was just a basic idea, I'll think of a better redesign. The blind idea is pretty cool though, the name will have to change though.

Yes but it takes the survivor a halfish second before they can run
Still better than other exhaustion perks. The killer isn't going the break the pallet if it's weak or you'll literally go across the map, no joke. Run this perk with Any Means Necessary and you got a strong new perk combo.
-
@YOURFRIEND said:
But if you run spirit fury and enduring then you're dealing with what is essentially a normal sprint burst. Which you still can't catch. So if anything smash hit counters spirit fury and enduring.
But remember, spirit fury and enduring makes the perk slightly weaker, however it is a straight nerf to obviously spirit fury and enduring which is the killers strongest "Anti-loop" perks.
-
@Sonzaishinai said:
It's without a doubt the best distance gainer out of all the exhaustion perks.
Sprint burst for example gains you 18m (6m/s times 3 seconds) - 13.8 (4.6 times 3) = 4.2 meters of extra distance if the killer follows you
This perk is 21m (6 times 3.5) - 0 cause the killer is stunned for the first 1.5 seconds of the duration and then either has to break the pallet or walk around it. That's 5 times as much distance.
And while yes the killer can avoid it by respecting pallets there is a reason killers don't respect pallets now. Every time you respect a pallet you give the survivor a free dead hard for distance.
It probably won't be better then the current meta cause this perk is useless vs ranged killers and other power heavy killers like nurse and spirit cause they rarely get pallet stunned.
But it's still pretty good. Definitivily the strongest survivor perk released in a long time. Going to make life of a lot of m1 killers hell
The break is 2 seconds by default.

Not really enduring is a soft counter and you need to get to the pallet to use it unlike dead head where e to achieve destination
It's also a counter to spirit fury and enduring.

Yeah, make it so where you can track chest's too.
-
@Seraphor said:
80% of the time, if you're close enough for Small Game to go off, you'll probably find the totem without it.
Detectives Hunch tells you where to look in the first place.
Per gen lol. It's true, detectives hunch is a better overall perk. Not a single person can convince me than small game is worse than Detectives Hunch at finding totems. After all, gens go really slow sometimes while 15 seconds is always 15 seconds lol.
-
Listen, I never had any problem with ruin undying combo. I am a survivor main but I honestly think hex perks should be really strong. Also, I run small game in most of my build to counter, you guessed it hex totems. I also ran it cause I hate trapper and hag a lot lol.

That's a really bad argument, survivors are getting nerfed a ######### ton and because they're still OP they'll receive more nerfs in the future.
I'm sorry, how many survivor perks are getting buffed in the next patch lol...
-
@NoOneKnowsNova said:
Detectives Hunch is so much better imo.
It's not better looking for totems.
A gen takes 80 seconds
You can find about 2 or 3 totems in that time

Nurse is busted but they’re not changing her anytime soon unfortunately
Simply because she got nerfed already, they aren't going to nerf her again because of her skill cap.

What if your teammate is being chased in close proximity to the hook though? Do you play killer?
I do, that's why I said struggle phase. Although my design needs work, I have thought about both sides. Also, that's the teammates fault. If it's in the struggle phase, then the survivor is probably going after you. If they do then the killer is stunned. 5 seconds is a bit much, I'll make it 3 seconds.

Not going over my head in the slightest. You requested to ban someone for playing a way in which you don't like, and I pointed out that nothing that player did is against the game rules in anyway.
oooh sassy, jk. All seriousness, you do make a point. While camping and tunnelling playstyle is stupid, perks do counter the way killers play. Perks like deliverance, Unbreakable and DS. What the developers need to do now is design anti-tunnel perks. Then this game will be truly healthy.

Read the perk description, it does. Desperate measures increases the insta heal timer. Same with botany knowledge.

They'll more than likely be getting rid of the exhaustion add ons as well like they have with clown.
That's entitled survivor mains for you. I'm a survivor main myself but "Exhaustion Add-ons" was a playstyle. I see no problem but it's too OP for killer. That is not a joke, that's why it's getting nerfed.

It seems since the last rank reset all the toxic killers have come out the woodwork.
I’ve just finish a match against one such specimen. His actual name was “Toxic”!
He was running surprise surprise; iron grasp, agitation, insidious and BBQ!
after hooking in the basement he proceeded to camp the entrance of the basement. It was a 3 minute match.
There should be a way to permanently ban these people out of the public lobbies. I am a clean player whether survivor or killer. I should not be matched against these absolute pieces of #########.
guarantee some content creator uploaded some toxic ######### inspiring these people.
Are you the one who DC
If you are, run better perks lol
-
You know something I have just realised
Current Object
The perk is meta for a swf
New Object
The perk is meta for a solo
Conclusion
- The developers buffed solo
- Nerfed swf
- Really fun sounding perk

it makes many aura reading perks backfire, but itll cuck you if youre the last survivor left
You do have a point, just like dead hard though.

@TAG said:
Think about it, it doesn't mention stealth killers.
That's because it doesn't have to. The rules of Undetectable mean that you cannot read the Killer's aura.
You do have a point but the perk did get a rework after all. They might of changed that, maybe now the killers aura will show, however now that I think about it, it's very unlikely but not impossible.

Look, I’ll take aggro for a team mate that’s EARNED it. They’ve either been pulling their weight towards objectives and assists before being tunnelled, or they’ve managed to run the killer for so damn long most of the gens have gotten done.
But i’m a petty man. I absolutely have no patience for those times I’m almost finished with repairing a gen only to have some dum dum bring the chase to it, and then the killers attention is turned to me.
Oh... of course the killer is running pop, or has Ruin still up.
Hooray. More lols.
I don’t care if you’re the kind of survivor that does this accidentally. I still hate you, I hope your clothes are itchy, and dogs always bark at you.
Anyway... The moment they announced Self Preservation I immediately knew it was my dream perk.
I’m a good team mate, but I hold a grudge. Burn me and imma “Self Preservation” away from your ass.
For a cat person and a person who is allergic to cat hair, this ironic.

What we should have gotten
It wasnt a terribly strong perk, but they still nerfed it
They do love nerfing gen perks, even though killers complain about that the most, other than SWF which I also understand.
-
I have never had Wendy's before lol BUT IT'S COMING TOO ENGLAND. This is great, thank you guys for hyping it up...
-
Yeah this idea is genius. The only issue is the "ping" system. I think instead of optional ones, you make 12 of your own. Swear words would be full of hashtags like "##########" lol. This idea I took from another amazing game, MHW (Monster Hunter World).
-
I put No obviously but I was suppose to put maybe. I love her default skin, I have a feeling her outfits will seriously be cool.
-
Unbreakable should be base, that would fix everything.
-
@Tsulan said:
You are not the only one who feels like this. But the devs don´t seem to see the current situation as a problem. Since they introduced a new survivor perk, that increases gen speed.
It really makes me mad when they added that perk. Sure the benefits don't seem crazy but wait until you realise why you get benefits, it's just stupid. The survivors get rewarded for the killer playing fair, very balanced devs, very balanced.
-
It's obvious the developers doesn't listen, 5 years and the game has progressed a little. Yay new reworked maps but I still get gen rushed by a swf and get killers who play seriously toxic. The new trickster is still bad, I don't understand.
Also, the community wanted a LGBT killer, just wait until they see how much he sucks.
-
I personally think they're quite balanced, some loops were way too strong.

You’re not wrong. I’ve tried countless times to leave the game but I keep finding reasons to come back. I think the longest break I had taken was about 5 months. Really not much.
Noob3 Wins :D

@FrostySeal said:
I haven't seen anybody suggest this, but what if Spirit got more counterplay in the form of chase music? Maybe certain instruments can play when she starts phasing or something like that. I think it'd be a pretty cool addition and it wouldn't be a boring nerf like making her move slower or muffling sounds when she phases.
What do you guys think of this idea? (This is just an idea, not saying that she needs to get nerfed hard.)
I had a cool idea where you buff her base kit but make it so where her phase is direction when she enters 12 meters of a survivor.
-
Tru3's idea is correct, I know this because I hold W.
With time, I understand that most killer's when they do there secondary action, like deathslinger or billy, take a few seconds to reload. This is enough time to get to a new loop.
Although, I do find it a bit suspicious Tru3 Picked wraith for this Logic. Wraith isn't exactly an "Anti-loop" killer. Maybe make this point when you play a stronger killer.
(Also, Wraith is fast, this "hold W" isn't too bad with Wraith) .

So I decided to take it upon myself a couple of weeks back to record my data in red ranks for solo survivor. I recorded the stats for around 100 games and what I found, at least for me was that DS is a waste of a perk. Most killers will leave you slugged and wait for the timer to run out or the tunneling will just be a nonissue. So to me I would just rather not run DS as a solo as majority of the time its obsolete and therefore a waste of a perk slot for me.
It's ok, it's not like there are no meta perks.

Your being unrealistic, The game has never been fine. Well, it's definitely in a better place than it was and it's slowly getting better but now, the developers have to look into higher play.
