Self-Preservation?

A few things I didn't know

  • Scratch mark are hidden for 10 seconds
  • Grunts of pain in reduced by 100% for 10 seconds
  • You do not leave Blood pools for 10 seconds

The real question is:

When the hell did the perk last for 10 seconds?

That actually is quite good, 10 seconds is actually quite a while. I didn't know this, my guess this perk will now be B+ or A. The perk is quite nice now.

  • it does exactly the opposite of what you should do when that close to an injured survivor which is take the heat from them to waste the killers time.

Because of that the perk for high level play will be F tier since there isn't a need to hide in fact you want to do the opposite.

  • Okay, to be blunt, you must be really new if you think a perk that only helps you hide if the killer has already found someone else is A-Tier.

So something that the perk isn't trying to achieve, good to know!

This perk promotes making the game longer for x player if they're being chased but someone body blocks a hit.

  • Self Preservation could be a good anti tunnel perk.

Or if you're the one injured and someone else takes a protection hit for you that gives an extra chance to get away. It has anti-tunnel properties in that regard

    Yeah.

I could also see it being useful against Infectious Fright Instadowners. (Though you'll still scream)

I was thinking that as well.

The perk also applies with a basic M1 and secondary. The perk is a mix of Iron will, lucky break and Poised. The perk could be good if in a good build. I do agree, A tier might be a bit much but this perk has potential. I have many hours btw, it sounds like a really good perk if used in good hands. There is just 2 downsides.

    • You'll body block the player.
    • It's only 12 meters.
