Yeah, all you can really do is ignore people who are being abusive asshats.
Whenever I play Killer and I see a SWF group with a twitch.tv enter the lobby? Wew, I brace myself no matter the outcome. :P

Some people just feel an odd need to be a dick when they know there's no risk of people smackin' 'em.
Then again I've seen people be really abusive to the Killer for doing something completely legit and it can drive people up the wall so they lash out at others because they are used the criticism being abusive.
I try to not do that but it's just the nature of people, I guess.

Dropped her, downed and sacrificed the other one. I found the hatch first, and realized "Hey, if she bleeds out, it should count for the achievement"

The problem is lots of people report tactics they can't beat as toxic. Even if it's something like camping or close patrolling the one person you've hooked with the doors open and you know they're not leaving. Also, I understand getting tunnelled when the game going south for the killer badly is their safest bet to get points if the game is a stomping.
It's a tricky thing. But stuff like Mori spam or the recent cancelling unhooking someone just to grief them? All I can suggest is record your games with OBS just to be sure. Even if you delete the recordings if nothing bad happened. If something bad happens? Show it as evidence.

While I know dedicated servers are expensive it really would be great.
Just stops me getting a lag spike just before I see someone downed and my brain has to start thinking "Lag switch?"
It's a peace of mind thing for me. Also knowing that if I'm killer I don't have to worry about my internet going wacky and and gimping everyone else in the game.

I try to not let post game salt cows get to me but I'll be honest that while I mostly get crap in chat while playing as a Killer so I tend to favour playing Survivor.
But when I do go as Killer and I see someone with a twitch addy as their name I roll my eyes because this is either going to be a bullyfest OR I'm going to do well and get called all manner of names after. XD
Edit: Most people are lovely, tho. Just when the poop comes flying there really isn't much of a rhyme or reason for it.

The thing is with Freddy that gives the location of the one you want to hit with Remember Me at the get go. The Pig's trap doing that would just lead you to patrolling the puzzle boxes instead of generators or headed right for your obsession.
The chance of them getting the trap off right away while you're looking at the wrong boxes would probably end up as a time waster more often than not.
But with a tweak or two it could be a fun thing. :>
I like the idea of it being an Ultra rare addon. That would be an interesting change.

I've always thought if the trap timers started if the survivor ran outside of terror radius instead of a generator being done that could slow down the game more. It would give the survivor more control over the timer themselves and slow them down more since the traps pretty much exist to slow down the game. Could work better if they start off the game with a trap.

I prefer empathy since people will get injured at least once during the game plus the range is unlimited. And you can tell where the killer is once he'll start chasing someone. Being able to tell what everyone is doing across the map is a far better advantage for me. -
